Good gym, had a month's membership. They have a lot of equipment and a large space so it never felt crowded with people. Friendly staff too

I visited DC a few times in 2019 & was able to workout here quite a bit. Friendly staff, drop in prices were fair, facility was well kept & clean, unique equipment that I haven't seen in many other gyms which was exciting. I hit my greatest deadlift PR here easy & I want to attribute part of that to the unreal atmosphere of True North! Nothing but good things to say & I hope to be back some day.

Dawson needed a new gym with a decent sized change room. To bad it's still waiting for one. New equipment here but the equipment choices weren't well thought out.

Two squat racks and two deadlift platforms. If you’re tall (6’ +) the squat racks are too short to over head press in so you either have to clean it or press outside the rack without safety pins. They have bumper plates and seemed fine with the bar being dropped after cleans. Regular chalk is not allowed but liquid chalk is and they even have a bottle of it at the front desk you can use if you forgot yours. Staff seemed nice and helpful. Lots of machines, a variety of cardio equipment, prowlers and a space to use them (though awkwardly the space bisects the gym so it’s a touch in the way). Change rooms were small and very few lockers were available. The ones that were were too small to fit my gym bag. Has a CrossFit area if you want to tear your acl. Overall if you’re looking for a good gym for barbell exercises and/or lifting heavy this is it. Could use more/taller squat racks and a couple more platforms but considering they even have them that’s head and shoulders beyond most other gyms. Would recommend/10

Hands down the best gym in Dawson Creek! The owners are extremely hands on and very helpful. Don't know how to use a machine? They'll demo it for you! The gym is so clean, and the atmosphere is incredible. Whether you're brand new to the gym, or you're a body builder this gym is top notch. All the equipment is brand new and so nice! The fact that there is a supplement store inside is just the icing on the cake. Forgot your preworkout? They got you covered! Need some new protein powder or a supplement? They've got that too! Go check this place out, you won't regret it!

awesome gym ???? lots of nice new equipment. has everything for weight lifter. power lifting to stuff for crossfitters and just the casual Joe that wants to hit the treadmill. sauna nice after .staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

There’s many great things to touch on in regards to a review. I’ll keep it short 1. Gym equipment - always in good working order 2. Always toilet paper, paper towel available 3. Clean 4. Set up well for beginner or expert lifters 5. A lot of real gem equipment that’s not usually seen in small town gyms 6. Price is decent, not the best, not the worst I’ll continue using this facility until I’m finished working in Dawson creek!
