Before hearing about Milesfit, I would lose weight just by eating clean, I wouldn’t workout because I didn't enjoy it. I had ZERO motivation because oversaturated gyms were not my thing. They freak me out actually. Justin is an excellent trainer; enthusiastic, super knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. His approach to exercise is fun and in no way intimidating. Justin keeps changing the routine to fit with my goals and it keeps the workouts interesting and challenging. Good times! My experience with Milesfit has been amazing and rewarding. The multi-disciplinary approach of physical fitness, nutrition and theraputics is unique in Montreal to my knowledge. Miles (the owner) is extremely knowledgable in a number of fields and brings this knowledge to bear to help you be your best self. The workouts are intense! They consist of a combination of strength training and Tabata. I've never worked this hard at the gym, but it's worth it as the improvements to my fitness and body became noticeable pretty quickly. Miles is very data driven and the body composition measurements he does are also something very unique that I have not seen anyone else do. Miles is also very friendly and while I might not always look forward to the early morning workouts, I do always enjoy interacting with Miles. The facilities are excellent and always spotless. They also have a few pieces of equipment you won't find anywhere else. This is not bargain basement training, but if you want to see consistent and continuous improvements in your body, it is well worth the money.

Unfortunately, I couldn't train with them because of my particular scheduling but I still give them 4 stars. The facility itself is very clean, and they're full geared. I would recommend this place. I had to ask for a reimbursement, and communications were overall good. I have to say that Micah is a customer care champion! I will definitely seeked them out again when my present engagement in finished, and I not suck an early bird ­:)

Contacted miles for a nutrition plan. From the start I thought it was going to be good. As soon as it came time for my meal plan, I received 2 or 3 emails stating that he was busy with other things and that my plan would be ready a bit later. As a client, I dont need to know that you were too busy with other things, which resulted in a delay for my meal plan. For the price of 350$ I received my meal plan which instantly I was really disappointed. Before making my meal plan he had asked me what I was already eating to which he only added flax seeds and coconut oil. For the price I dont feel like it is very justified since I feel like this plan is a replica of what I had sent him of what I was somewhat already eating. After seeing my meal plan, I thought that there was a lot of fat added. So much that the coconut oil was giving me daily headaches. I also stated that I would like more vegan options since meat can sometimes make me sick but I didn't have that option on the meal plan. It has now been a month of doing miles nutrition plan and I have not lost any weight. Very disappointed of the outcome and service received from Milesfit.

Miles of Miles Fit is a true professional and I am very fortunate to have him as my personal coach and trainer. He has a very easy going style to his methods and perfectly communicates the exercises to us. I have a bad back and Miles always developed special routines so as to avoid any future injuries. My objective was to increase my cardio as I enjoy golf and found I was getting tired by the 9th hole. Within a few weeks of Miles' training regimen and help with my diet, I can easily play a round without getting tired. His flexibility advice also improved my golf game not to mention losing 20 lbs in the first 2 months. The location of the studio played an important decision as it is centrally located and in a great area of the city with many free parking spots. The machines and equipment are top level and in today's covid environment, Miles is always sterilizing whatever we touch. I joined the online Milesfit community in March, when Covid hit us. I joined this group because Miles has a way about him that resonates with people, and he makes us all feel comfortable in our skin. I love that I could workout in the comfort of my living room with a private personal trainer at an extremely affordable rate especially at a time that is convenient for me. His workouts are tailored to benefit beginners, intermediate and advanced people. We start with 4 preparatory movements as a warmup then jump right into our workout. He compiles 8 amazing exercises back to back, (every workout is different) we stretch then do another set. The workout last approx. 25 mins. Who doesn’t have 25 mins to devote to themselves ???? These exercises are made to condition our body to be able push harder and endure longer. (I’ve lost over 25 lbs in 4.5 months) Miles is always reminding us to keep our chest up, eyes up above the horizon and keep your core tight. All things we tend to forget during movement. He offers a variety of workouts, whether with bands, dumbbells or body weight exercises. One of the things I love most about training with Miles is his personality. He puts his heart and soul into all his workouts and makes me laugh. He is also very Zen!!! The complete opposite of me!!! He always replies to our comments and my numerous snarky remarks and makes me feel like a valued member of his gym, although I’m an at home member!!!! Love the Fit family!!!

Prior to working with him, I had never picked up more than a 20 pound weight. He was able to teach me so much, especially technique, as wrong technique can lead to horrible injuries. One of the best aspect is they will be able to push your limits while making sure you maintain proper form and you'll have fun with exercises you wouldn't normally do. The meal plans you are given are adapted to your goals and needs and more importantly, are realistic. Their approach is a lifestyle change instead of a crash diet that won't last. Excellent all the way through. Continuous updates as they are released regarding covid safety and the place is up to.fate on safety measures and the legal requirements of the government. Trainers are first rate. Adaptable, accessible and involved. Nobody hangs around on their cellphones while you struggle through. Education is tremendous and includes everything from beginner nutrition to serious athletic performance nutrition and everything in between. Training is varied from athletic therapies to mobility training and of course strength and conditioning. Milesfit caters to no specific demographic or training style; they strive to accomodate almost everything from recovery to peak performance. You can see.this.clearly by the variety of clientele. The atmosphere is great. As comfortable as training at home but with pro quality gear and more space. The equipment is solid and the place is clean, easily accessible by public transit as well. Their social media has several views of their rooms and gear. Get some.

I've been training with Zack at Milesfit for almost two years now and I really enjoy it. Milesfit has almost all the same equipment you'd find at a regular gym so the workouts are great every time. The fact that it's a private studio is particularly reassuring during the COVID days: it's just me and my trainer so no risk of being in a crowd of people. When Miles was forced to close the studio in March, he started offering a free Facebook workout every day using items commonly found around the house as weights and props (my favorite was the loaded backpack). He amassed a large and enthusiastic following from all around the world. It was a great way to feel connected and fit during a very isolating time. Thank you Miles!

I had heard of Milesfit when I lived in Montreal, but only contacted them after I moved to the Laurentians, when Covid-19 hit and I was quarantined in my home with no access to the gym. Milesfit started offering 30 minutes per day via Facebook live.... gave me a new routine and a chance to be a part of his amazing community, which at one point was 1000 strong!! It is now 6 months later, and I am in better shape than I was 10 years ago. I’ve lost 17 lbs. gained healthy muscle, my doctor had to take me off medication for high blood pressure, cholesterol levels are better than last year and I’m turning 60 next year. It is a routine I still look forward to every day and will continue when I’m overseas. They also offer PN Nutrition, which allows you to keep track of the food you eat, promoting good eating habits. Milesfit also has videos on every aspect of your well-being - physical, emotional and spiritual. Although, I have not yet been to the private studio where you receive one-on-one training, I have seen how well planned it is and they maintain the highest level of cleanliness to ensure you a working out in a safe environment. Very highly recommended... they literally changed my life! He is lively, engaging and tough, but adaptable for all fitness levels. ????️‍♀️????????

I've been a client at Milesfit for nearly a year now and it has been a great experience. Prior to joining Milesfit, I've never had a consistent and focused training routine and certainly didn't have healthy eating habits. Through this time I've worked with Adam Shore twice a week and I've learned a lot, we've developed a great rapport, he pushes me very hard each session in a way that maximizes our one hour sessions, providing great results. I had just returned to working out after being inactive for a few years, and Milesfit was the fit for me. I completed 6 of 30 sessions when the lockdown began. I didn’t think it was possible to rejuvenate an aging body but I was wrong. The Milesfit experience is more than just fitness. It’s like having a life coach. Miles is charismatic and inspiring while all of his trainers are friendly and endearing. I work with personal trainer Sami Brochu twice a week on Zoom. It’s an awesome experience. The intricate knowledge that he and his university educated colleagues possess about the workings of the body are mind boggling in their accuracy and in their ability to isolate and work with muscles I didn’t know I had but surely need for optimum well-being. Sami is slowly awakening the dormant athlete inside me; the one I never met before. LOL. I am more flexible, walk taller, enjoy enhanced mobility and flexibility, have more energy and stamina, sleep better at night, experience a heightened mood, and discovered a newfound level of endurance, strength and energy. I've been training with Miles for about 10 weeks now. Because I had lots of past injuries and joint issues (knee pain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, numerous sprains), I was very nervous about getting reinjured and sought out a trainer with experience in rehabilitation who could provide a lot of guidance. Was cautiously optimistic that Miles had training that spanned kinesiology, posturology, naturopathy, Eldoa and lots of other related areas that seemed like they could help in my case. My initial goals were just to regain basic functional strength for everyday things like carrying groceries and going for longer walks, since even these simple activities were causing me pain for days afterwards. In the initial consultation, Miles performed a thorough assessment of all the major muscles and joints to check my limitations and came up with a rehab plan spanning about 6 weeks, and suggested after that time we could move towards a more ambitious weightlifting program, starting out slowly and building over time. I was quite skeptical but decided to give it a try. Within the first few weeks, we focused more on postural rehabilitation, stretching and gentle strength exercises. He assigned a couple of deceptively easy hip flexor stretches as homework, which became a part of my regular routine. At first I was only moving a bit but slowly started to gain more mobility in the hips and pelvis. After 10 weeks I can't believe how much mobility I've gained, I'm pretty much able to lunge down to the ground and my previous knee pain is all gone. I long ago stopped waking up feeling stiff, my feet are no longer sore and I've been able to lift heavy items with ease (being careful to use good form). I can walk for hours without any pain and have even resumed biking again. We are now 4 weeks into a more intensive weight training program. The workouts have gotten more challenging but my cardio capacity has increased exponentially, I'm able to do weight bearing squats comfortably and can bench press almost 50 lbs with steadily improving form. My legs, back and upper body feel solid in a way they never have in my entire life. Coming from a starting point where I saw myself as intrinsically weak and partially disabled and was just wanting to get back to a basic level of functioning, it has been a shocking transformation that surpassed my initial goals in a pretty short amount of time. I look forward to seeing how things continue to unfold. The fact that 20-30 training sessions has gotten me this far is no accident. The workouts are incredibly efficient and targeted - each session is personalized based on how I feel that day and what areas we last worked on. We use a variety of equipment ranging from free weights, TRX, weighted balls, resistance bands and variable-resistance flywheels, all of which work the muscles in different (complementary) ways. It's never boring - the 45 minutes always flies by and I leave each session feeling energized and refreshed. If you're considering working with a trainer to overcome musculoskeletal issues or injuries, or just want the confidence of training safely with someone who really knows what they're doing, I highly recommend working out at MilesFit - it will seriously change your life for the better. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!

Miles Fit gym has had a significant position impact on my day to day living for the past 4 years. My trainer, Simon Dayan who works under Miles' guidance, is an amazing trainer. Even after major surgery on both feet 3 years ago, Simon and Miles encouraged me to get back to training as soon as possible . They designed a personalized strength training program to help me increase flexibilty, maintain mobilty as well as reestablish balance and strength. My post-op program was challenging but never painful! They train clients be it for strength training , post-injury or post-op recovery or just general well-being. When Covid shutdowns were in effect, like a lot of people, I sat at home glued to RDI and other news channels but when it became obvious that this was not a one or two month inconvenience, I decided to try Miles' free virtual daily training sessions. At 65 yrs old and by no means an athlete, the pace was a little too fast for me. Miles and his trainer, Simon arranged tfor me to continue my regular training virtually. A few elastic bands, a yoga mat, a couple of old scuba diving weights and I was ready to get started. That was at the end of April and I am still training from home. Even during Covid, Miles Fit gym has you covered! Super pleasant top-notch trainers for all fitness levels and all ages. I have trained at a lot of gyms but none as professional as Miles Fit. Really a great place where everyone knows you by name.
