our experience at Patenaude Martial arts in Cornwall has been nothing short of excellent! From my first contact with Sifu Joel, everything has been handled professionally; I sent in an Email from their website asking about prices and class dates and times and so on... Sifu got back to me in less than 24 hours, answered all of my questions back-and-forth promptly, and invited me and my four children to come try out a class for free, to make sure it was something they would like before signing up and joining. Needless to say, they were hooked right from the get go! My children eagerly wait for each session,spend time at home practising their moves and learning for their belts. While in class, there is always a multitude of knowledgeable teenage instructors there to help out all of the children, and the ratios make sure that everybody gets the needed attention they deserve. All of the instructors seem to have an amazing rapport with the children in both age groups that I attend [6 through nine, and 10 through 13]. And to top it off, the price structure is very competitive, and payments can be made easily on a monthly basis. I would strongly recommend coming and checking it out and trying it out if you’re looking for something for your child to participate in, especially if you’re looking for your child to learn some self-defense, some discipline and respect (All of which are also taught in class). Even if you’re looking for a new activity as an adult, they have various adult classes for self-defence as well as weapons training and kickboxing. Literally a one stop shop for family activities!

I would highly recommend Patenaude Martial Arts to everyone! Sifu Joel creates a very welcoming environment for all the children. Not only does he teach self-discipline and Martial art skills and techniques, he does it in a way that the children love making it a fun experience for all. ( Did I add he has a great sense of humor!! ) It hasn't always been easy to find an activity or sport that my son truly was interested in. This is the first time he loves something so much. My son who is on the spectrum (Autism Spectrum Disorder) can easily lose focus at times and Sifu is always great with bringing his attention back to what they are doing in a fun and positive way. Within these few months, my son has been with Patenaude Martial arts I have seen a tremendous amount of growth in my son's concentration, balance, coordination, self-esteem, agility and more. Each class has different drills and games and tactics to teach new skills while changing it up to keep the children engaged. If you are looking for a great Martial Arts school I highly recommend Patenaudes Martial Arts you will not be disappointed!
