CrossFit Cornwall is an amazing atmosphere! Kyle is extremely patient with teaching the classes and making sure you have proper technique. I’ve been training with Kyle for just over two years now. He’s helped me come back after having baby #1, and I’m currently still training while pregnant with baby #2.
After pregnancy, it wasn’t easy to come back postpartum, but it was completely doable with Kyle as a coach. He took the time to make sure I slowly progressed back to where I was prepregnancy, and I can even say I came back in better shape and stronger than before my son was born. One of the main reasons I was able to train the way I did postpartum, is because Kyle was great and even encouraged me to bring my son with me to the gym so I could work out. My son now almost 2, loves coach Kyle and still comes with me to the gym. I’m now 32 weeks pregnant with my second son and I’m still going as frequently to the gym, thanks to the great coaching. Of course I scale when necessary, and it’s hard mentally not being able to do certain things that I know I’m capable of doing, but with the encouraging atmosphere and great coaching I feel completely safe doing CrossFit while pregnant! I can’t wait to start bringing my second son to the gym with me this winter!
I can’t say enough great things about the gym. Don’t be afraid of CrossFit, as it’s clear that it’s very scalable to what you are able to do. You will discover that you’re capable of a lot more than you thought you were capable of. You’ll become stronger physically and mentally... bonus is that the community is great!
