Great gym and location. Only issue is the pool is smaller than 25m and isn't wide enough to accommodate lap swimmers while free swim session is going on. Overall, love the gym!

Facility updated! New amenities rooms and gym, and an updated schedule of activities for the whole family. Great staff, and lots of creative / active play for the kids including drop-off programs. (Uodate: currently closed for public health. Facility and staff remain great, when you can use it!)

Pretty standard prices for a great service. There is always starters discounts and it is fairly simple to get a membership. really clean gym and positive atmosphere is really nice. They only have one bench press set up which can be difficult if you go during the busier hours but overall a really nice set up. Compared to a lot of the other choices in town this is ideal for casual or beginner users. There is probably a lot more here that I don't even know about yet.

The new Reno's look excellent. I wasn't sure what to expect walking in but it has a very modern look. New high-end workout machines, great gym, and even though nothing was done to the pool the whole area around the pool has been updated. Only thing I couldn't find was the racketball 1 court but never was good at that anyways.

Love the new building and equipment! Wish the circuit workout wasn’t done on the gym floor as it takes up a large portion of the floor, but when class isn’t in session it’s great to be able to use it! New equipment is modern and have entertainment/a digital rep/time counter. Over all loving the building and staff so far since the update! Also wish there was a deeper pool and a sausa/steam room for post workouts.

First time visiting the new facility. The old one was very dated. It is well laid out and well lit. The change rooms, swimming pool and ball court are on the main floor, along with various meeting rooms. The workout area is on the second floor. As it's new, so is the equipment. Like all YMCA's, the staff are pleasant and very helpful. I extend compliments to the staff and volunteers for the cleanliness of the facility. This YMCA does not have a 'Plus' section however the staff will provide towels if you are a plus's member from another Y. Out of town visitors like me will have to bring soap, razors etc. The lockers are free, also one can take their valuables and place in lockers on the workout floor of uncomfortable using the change room lockers.

Nicest YMCA Chilliwack has ever had. All new equipment, bigger, and better deals. Looks like something straight out of high end Vancouver. The staff here are so kind and genuine. Can't get over how nice it is here

The renovations are not all that great and the prices are high. The swimming instructors do not have a dress code that requires them to wear attire that doesn't allow 60% of their butt to be exposed while teaching little kids. Shorts would not impede the instructors and would lend to a professional appearance.

The remodel is beautiful and the facilities are awesome. We have a family membership and go regularly. Their gym is particularly well equipped. My only complaint, which isn't a knock on the YMCA, is that sometimes it's too busy making finding real estate in the gym to work out comfortably.

Nice appearance of the facility. However the layout of the gym needs improvement in a way to make more space. Lack of equipment as far as machines go and weights. They need to bring back what they use to have at the previous ymca. Too many cardio machines, More than necessary. Classes can make the gym area over crowded. The aerobic and cardio exercises I think should have a separate room and the heavier types of equipment should be in another room, like how the old ymca was

Newly renovated facility incorporates good security program for personal belongings, Staff are well trained fees for various pgms are very reasonable. pool and hot tub unavailable for several weeks maybe April 1st/19. Parking on busy days would be a challenge.

I didn't realize that YMCAs were so inflexible when it comes to access and membership. Their website sucks big time - I looked for at least 30 min on memberships and not sure if I ever found the pricing - I think I have up. Not really any programs for seniors.

Beautiful new facility. Good selection of weights cardio equipment and the stretching area is under rated for sure. I like that I can find time to dump my kids off to do activities while I hit the weights.

The new facility is completely different from the previous old and outdated building. Everything in the new building is shiny and new. They do charge a ridiculous amount for drop in, so it's recommended to get a membership if you want to use the facilities.

I was excited to join the new facility and after being members for the last 6 months and paying the already pretty high rate for 5 family members they put the price up to a crazy higher payment. Adding 40 dollars more on a membership is outrageous. Not impressed about how they handled existing clients.
