I go here frequently but have had a few issues. I gave first aid to a dad and his 4 children after he asked staff to check the chlorine. The two ladies at the counter just turned their backs and apologized as if the guy was wrong ( He wasn't ). He left in frustration I could see there was an issue ( eyes and faces burning ) and gave them aid in the parking lot. Tried phoning management and never got a return call. Tried leaving notes and no call. I even heard the staff ask the manager to speak to me and she said no that she was busy. Full facility of trained lifeguards and customers are rendering first aid. This is wrong

Very disappointed with the way staff are treated, it's as if they aren't important enough for 15 minutes of overtime. Pool is always colder than anywhere else. Cheam is a better option if you're willing to drive to the other side of town.

My child was attending the summer adventures day care for the last few weeks. Was really put together well. Younger councilors so my 6 year old liked to think he had more in common with them. Played in the water park, playground, and inside the center itself. He loved it.

I held off on reviewing as I wanted to give this gym and opportunity to prove my initial opinion wrong. After a number of times I’m comfortable saying this gym is far from ideal. What it has going for it is decent equipment and it’s fairly well spaced. What it lacks is a clientele with any form for social gym etiquette. If you go in the morning prepare to have an aged vulture rotate in on your equipment without even the slightest courtesy. The loud system lives up to its name also and the place has a musty odour. I don’t expect a gym to be perfect, I do expect to be left alone to use the piece of equipment I’m using and to be able to tune out the masses while I’m working out.

My kids love going here and I don't mind it. I just think that it needs some updates and a better Family changeroom. Another thing I've noticed is that the staff seem to not be trained very consistently. I went there about three times with my student card before someone said I needed a special card. Just last week my friend's child wasn't allowed in unsupervised because he was 7, even though it is their policy to allow it. So the staff is nice, but not knowledgeable.

Family Sunday swimming. Kids loved it. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub was warm with strong jets, and the steam room wonderful. It was a busy time around 2pm. The pool slide was not open very long. The family change rooms do need a floor cleaning. I was looking for sanitary products but there is none in any change rooms. Will return but won't forget my flipflops next time. Great pool for kids.

This place is dirty, the toilette and change rooms are pretty dirty and disgusting, being inside the facility makes your eyes hurt because there is lot of chlorine and you can smell it as well...the skin itches after bathing..the slide is only there for decoration all the time closed and if you ask when they open it they say in half an hour and if you as after 30min another person's says the same thing, it's kinda disappointing ..we are not going there amymore

I think this facility is reaching a point where it needs a bit of an overhaul, or maybe just a good cleaning... Frankly, the change rooms and showers just plain smell bad, like a combination of must/mold and dirty old man. It wasn't this bad two years ago. I don't know what's changed, but it's definitely changed. As much as I'd like to endorse the leisure centre, I have to admit I'm eagerly awaiting the reopening of the new YMCA, as without question I will be purchasing a membership there the minute they reopen. Hoping for change at CLLC, but not holding my breath to find out. Don't take my word for it, check out both venues and judge for yourselves. As for me, you'll probably see you at the Y.

$9 for me and my son to get in, and completely unreasonable rules in the pool and water slide. My son is 6 and with adult supervision we weren't allowed to use a floaty in the jet stream pool, and when we went to go down the water slide they would not let me go down with my son even though he could barely touch bottom at the end of the slide they said it was a danger or Hazard for me to go down the slide with him. The staff were completely unreasonable and useless at helping in almost any situation. I'll go to a different pool that has funner activities and is more family-friendly.

Am here for a swim meet. The place is nice and clean and the staff I've talked to are friday and helpful. They have a water slide, two pools and a hot tub as well as a sauna and steam room. The viewing are is nice and large. Adjacent to the pools, there is a large gym.

My family and I visited the pool today, being a holiday it was fairly busy and there was only one person looking after the front desk. After a 10 minute wait to pay I noticed a sign saying that the pool was slightly cooler then normal. Seeing as how we had driven from Abbotsford we decided to try it any ways. The pools were much colder then normal, almost every family was packed into the family hot tub. This tub was like a cold bath. I noticed that the other hot tub was almost empty so we went over to try that one. It was warmer but not a normal temperature for a hot tub so it seemed good for my two children . We were very quickly told by manager that we could not be in there due to it Being the adult only relaxation area . The manager was not very understanding and a when I suggested that the sign was misleading about the temperature he basically said that it the way it is. I asked for my money back and he said the best he would do is passes. I don't feel that he looked after us in a fair manor. Also the pool is dirty, there is white build up on all the tiles that aren't under water

This is a really great facility. The maintenance is good on the pool, and the staff is friendly. There is so much to do for the kids, there is a wave pool, slow moving "river" to swim around, kids hot tub, toys, water slide and a big tug boat to play on.

I love this place for swimming and fitness. Also has a physiotherapy clinic conviently located in the building.New clean, bright indoor facility and a free water park outside for the whole family. Lots of free parking . They also have the Java Hut that offers food , cold drinks, desserts and ICE CREAM!! YAY! Loads of fun for everyone!

Great pool that my three little boys loved (ages 6,3,2). Lifeguards and staff were top notch especially with my 2 year old having some nervousness issues in the pool. They made him feel special. Wishing the spray park was operating the day we went (+27 degrees C) but it was early May still. I know they will love it when it opens. My boys loved the huge playground nonetheless.

Of the two rec centers in Chilliwack, I prefer Chilliwack landing to the one in Sardis. The pool is better and bigger. The hot tub is more conducive to interaction with other people. There is also a wave pool for the kids. The gym has more room and you don't feel suffocated with sweat odour as is the case with the Cheam centre. $2.00 drop in Sundays after 6:30. Doesn't get better than that.

I would have posted zero stars however there was no option. The pool and showers were freezing. There was no warning from staff that the boiler was broken. No signs posted till after we went. When i asked about a refund or even a complimentary visit i was told no. They stole from me as far as i am concerned. I paid to use services that were not available.

I love their lockers now. I was renewing my membership but I couldn't find my old card. The guy told me that I have to pay $5 for a new card, I said nevermind I will find my old one. The next day I went in scanned my old card and the girl stopped me because my card didn't go through. She gave me a new card and told me that they don't charge money for new ones. I wish I got the name of the guy who was trying to reap me off.

I put my daughter in swimming lessons at the leisure center. On 2 occasions the front desk staff have placed her in the wrong class or just neglected to tell me about the classes available. It wasn’t until I confirmed the class at a later date that I realized they placed her in the wrong one. The other time they told me they were not having classes for the following block (5 weeks without classes). I was looking in the leisure guide a few weeks later and a saw they were incorrect. There are no other options for lessons in Chilliwack as YMCA is still under construction. My daughter will now not be able to attend lessons until January 2019. So disappointing.

Nice gym, most staffs are friendly but there is one who was so rude to me once. There was a line up and the other lady was the only one at attending to us. And this other lady was writng something on their chalk board. I was waiting to see what she was writing as I always have fun reading their jokes/quotes. I didn't even mind waiting at the line up. Then she came up and was very rude. If I knew her name, I would post it here. So after that, I decided to just go in the afternoon after her shift ended. VERY RUDE.

The pics are deceiving on Google. No slides for toddlers. Kiddie wading pool sucks. Boat in the middle of the pool does nothing Rude staff. Dirty changing rooms, lockers have clearly been broken into. My wife and I took our 2 year old daughter to this pool. The lockers have been pryed open and the changing rooms were disgusting. We went out to the pool and we were in the water for maybe 10 minutes total. I pushed my daughter through the lazy river on a floatie before I was rudely approached by a teenage life guard telling me im not to do that. After looking around the pool it was clear that it had not been drained and cleaned in a long time. There looked to be dirt and stains on the pool floor and looking at the tile around the pool there was mildew and grime all over the place. This was enough we went and got our belongings and I went to the front desk and asked for our money back. When they asked why and I explained and the staff looked insulted. I will not be taking my child back to this pool and I would not recommend it at all. I'd give zero stars but Google requires 1 star to make a review.

My husband and I took our two year old daughter to the pool last night for the first time in a year. We were appalled by the cleanliness. The family change room smelled so awful upon entering. There were clumps of hair in every shower and the "boat" in the middle of the wave pool was FULL of old bandaids and looked as if it very rarely gets cleaned. This place needs a serious clean up. Definitely disappointed

I have never received worser/ poorer customer service in my entire life. I felt like crying after this interaction. There is an older man that works the front desk, and is condescending and aggressive to customers. Avoid at ALL costs. Some of my friends use this facility for gym, and they have all had bad experiences with him as well. He implied one of my friends' husband was a drunk based on his ethnicity. When he retires, i will return to use this facility.

I registered for mother and tod swimming lessons 2 week ago . Today is the first day me and husband are so excited. We went there 15 minutes before the class starts and waited with another 3 more families. We waited for 10 minutes after the class supposed to start at 10.30 until 1 of the dad went ask the front desk what’s going on the answer we got wasn’t impressed they canceled the class without telling us. They let us soak in the water for no reason. That’s the worst management I have ever seen. I gave you my email, phone number etc. Why didn’t you let us know before the class started.

Absolutely love it here the kids love it... But that being said i forgot a diaper and was short .05 and they were like well too bad!!!! Went there again with my sister and two oldest kids. Let my 5 yr old ( in a life jacket) walk across the way to my friend as she was in the hot tub. Lifeguard came yelling at me telling to learn how to parent my children because he wasn’t at arms length! Then another lifeguard told my kid (he was jumping up n down in the water) that he needs a life jacket because they don’t want to use their lifeguard skills on him!!! All this was brought to management attention who basically stated well these are the policies!!!! I get the polices BUT does NOT give them a reason to talk to someone like that

The locker room stinks and the regular old men don't know their being douche bags when there are other benches open and they walk up and use yours. the front desk also uses a key system where you buy the locker with them. and you could be in the change room changing, and the locker that was given to someone might be the bench you are using. so you end up changing next to people a lot. cold showers. steam room sucks.

This is the worst and most unclean leisure centre/pool we have ever seen! I took my son to this pool for the first time and was disgusted at how filthy the changing rooms were. In one changing room there was a used diaper in corner and chewing gum on the floor. Another changing room had clumps of hairballs next to the drain and another had a used bandaid. We raised these concerns with staff at the side of the pool and their reaction was one of couldnt care less. Someone needs to seriously look at the risk to public health of this place, which is without doubt non-compliant with BC health codes and probably in violation of others. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your health. Just awful!

So this facility is really nice for a number of reasons. First of all is the weight room upstairs, and the class room where a broad variety of classes are hosted such as Zumba, yoga, and other fitness classes included in the entrance fee of. The weight room has a large variety of machines to use in order to maximize getting buff. Now the pool downstairs consists of two hot tubs, a steam room, a sauna, a swimming pool for laps, a wave pool, a lazy rivers, and a water slide for occasional use. They also have a physio office of sorts to attend if you're in need of getting back on your feet after an injury, and they will work with you either in their facilities downstairs, or by giving you a workout plan and going through it with you in the weight room. Long story short, if you're looking for a place to get into shape or just spend an afternoon with friends, this is the place for you

Children will love Multi-themed playground. There is construction theme, tall slide and ship dragon toddler section. There is also a rubber bike track called Pump track nearby and water spray park. Has Washroom outside. Concession stand. Plenty of free parking.

great place for indoors and outdoor fun for small and big families. During the summer the new water park is a great entertaining for the whole family best one.. the next to it playground who has benches and trees which makes a lunch break with kids a whole lot better. The center on its own. great meet up for moms to get the rest they need while swimming or do some Yoga and Pilates. While the kids do swimming lessons and dad can hit the gym . Love the convenience of having physio and massage with gym and pool all under one roof.Never forget the hot tub and sauna or the steamer after a good work out.

I haven't checked out the gym yet, but the pools are fantastic, for all ages and swimming ability. There are two large hot tubs, and one has a ramp for wheelchair or other. There's also a slope to get into one of the pools. The current section is pretty fun too, and good excercise if walking, swimming against it. The facility is very clean and there's a snack bar that has a variety of foods and baked goods.

This company is terribly run. No communication between levels leading to clueless staff on multiple occasions. Policys that make it very difficult to sign kids up for swim lessons. Behind every other district regarding covid precautions. Never enough staff on to have the slide open for the kids. What is the point if it can rarely be used. Great facilities its just too bad Chilliwack cheaped out and contracted such a poorly run company to manage amazing facilities. Chilliwack should take over and get rid of this company.
