Way too many people walking around without one, letting hang out on their neck walking around. One guy was coughing, loudly and his mask hung on his neck the entire workout including walking around. I am visiting family for 2 weeks and went into the Fit4Less in Elgin Mall to inquire about prices, etc. I was literally laughed at the whole time I tried to ask about if they accepted Goodlife membership, how much it cost for a day pass, and if I could have a guest experience to check the place out and see if it was what I was looking for. I ended up leaving very angry, as that was the worst customer service, especially for a gym. I'm very disappointed and will not be returning, as other gyms were very professional and polite. Good luck and please train your staff better.

Deadlifts, squat rack, benches, machines, free weights and it's $10 a month. (Or $200 a year, this options the best out there.) I walked in and asked questions about deadlifting and general weighted workouts and before you ask: YES deadlifting is allowed. People here are great, and are always willing to help. I've had multiple spotters and made friends along the way. The Staff are helpful too. I've been to a few gyms that simply don't allow deadlifting because it's "judgement free" and the "loud weights scare patrons". It's a gym, not a library. You're there to get big, you should expect other people to reach their goals to get big too. Overall, fantastic gym. Only compliant would be lack of equipment. There's always a limited amount of racks and benches.

Great for the money. I bought the Black membership, so I use the facility in Markham and in Newmarket. The Markham location is nice, it's a very typical Fit 4 Less. For the most part, it's clean. The showers could be kept up a bit more, but it is 4 Less. One thing I will say that is both good an d bad about the Markham location in comparison to the Newmarket location is that they have individual unisex change rooms and showers. I don't really like the individual change rooms, as you have to wait to get changed, where Newmarket has a large male change room, which also leads to the 7 showers in the back of the change room. The advantage to the separate change rooms in Markham is that when no staff are on, and they lock the showers, you still have access to change rooms, in Newmarket, you don't. Again, for what you pay, good enough.

Honestly the best gym in the area for people who are just interested in working out. If you are looking for classes this gym might not be for you. It's also brand new so all the equipment is in mint condition. Oh and did I forget to mention it's only $10 a month.

Broken equipments Low quantity of equipments (for some exercises you have only one) The only good time to go there is after 11pm My advice, save extra $20 and go LA Fitness or GoodLife

When I first starting going to this location, I loved it. For a while I was going to the Bedford location as I worked out there. I've been to the Dresden Row location once in the last few months and was disappointed. The 4 × 4 is no longer bolter down and when I was on it, with another user on another side, it rocked back and forth. Staffs reaction was a shoulder shrug and walked away. Most staff just work out together, leaving no one at the desk. Paper towel machines always empty and the spray bottles just gone. With only one machine in the weight side for most of them, it makes hard to work out when they are all always broken. I counted 5 treadmills broken the last time I was there. The gym looks run down and is staffed by rude, uninterested people.

absolutely astonishing this place bigger than I ever seen I have been going to fit4less all over Durham and this one sure tops the cake with a lot of equipment and machines and a lot of space. There's a lot of space and plenty of room for everyone to work out and come here which is a good thing for us the ones that workout everyday so check out the place the monthly installments are very affordable I would recommend to get the gold membership which allows you to have the massage chairs and the hydro massage tables and tanning bed which is really cool ????

While I appreciate the variety of machines available, the management of the gym is horrid. No water fountains citing "that's how they keep our membership prices so low" when water in B.C. is free so they'd really only pay the install of a fountain and whatever seldom maintenance it may need. Second, I tried downgrading my membership and the staff told me I have to cancel and re-join (and pay the joining fee... For a gym I've been a member of for 3 years). When I pushed back on this policy, I received an email reply with no message, just a PDF showing my membership was cancelled, even though I never explicitly asked them to do so. The gym's management is an absolute joke and they no longer have the cheapest price in the North Shore so they don't even have that excuse going for them anymore.

Excellent equipment, inexpensive memberships, friendly staff and and uncompetitive atmosphere. This is really a great gym for any level of fitness. You don't start going to the gym because you are in great shape, you go to the gym to get into great shape. I recommend fit 4 less to everyone.

Update to my original review which is below. After 2/3 months of membership, I have dropped it to 3 stars. The staff, do very little there. They'd better not lose Theresa, as she seems to do most of the cleaning. Maintenance is non-existent. Not only are the steppers/virtual bike workout STILL not working, there are now almost 10 machines out of action. There is 1 maintenance guy between Goidlife/Fit4Less on the island and he obviously can't be bothered to come to Nanaimo. But hey! - aren't these machines still covered by a warranty?? This is a new facility. It's ridiculous! I dread to think what this place will be like in a few months but people will start walking soon if things continue like this. Original review here. - The good - It's huge, not cramped at all, lots of new, easy to use equipment. Lighting/music/overall mood at the right level to motivate me to workout. Theresa is lovely and Joe is friendly and seems helpful. The bad - Already some equipment is out of action. Steppers haven't worked for at least a month. Staff don't answer the door. It's so frustrating to see people waiting and staff just ignoring the buzzer. When I approached one woman (older, dark hair, larger build), to ask her to let them in, she rolled her eyes at me before going over. Come on - it's your job! It's too warm in there and summer isn't here yet. I've tried to get the virtual bike workout going 3 times now. It has never worked and staff seem clueless about what to do. Everyone I've spoken to says the same. Overall though, it's good value and, if it stays the way it is now, or improves, I'll keep up my membership.

I've tried a lot of different gyms, most of which I felt really judged, and uncomfortable. This atmosphere here is pretty decent. I actually go and dont feel weird. Staff are friendly, facility is well kept, and it's never killer busy which is nice. Nothing kills a gym atmosphere more then too many people. Definitely a good location.

Garbages over flowing with paper towel, spilled out onto floor around them. (Too) small Change rooms, messy witg leftover garbage/waterbottles. (Too) small Washrooms are a mess, with water covered counter. Lockers are way too small, u can BARELY fit the free gym bag that THEY give u. If u can afford it, go to a nicer gym.

One of the best thing here is tidiness! It's pretty cheap in price compare to others. I would mostly recommend those who are beginner to advanced weight lifters and who just want to do Cardio as they have many cardio machines. Though, I would say no to Profession bodybuilders as they don't have heavy dumbells (max 75lbs) and very few or no weight lifting machines, but they do have as many plates and bars as you want.

24/7 Gym, has all the equitment + stuff I'll never use. I workout in the middle of the night, almost never see anyone and if I do the gym is big enough that I can't see or hear them most of the time. Place is clean and during normal hours I can use the massage chairs and tanning bed. If you do your own thing and don't want people in your way or anyone to talk to ever, this is your gym. Theres 5 fully equipt flat bench presses and a entire wall of squat racks and smith style power cages. (You will never have to wait unless you are picky about a certain piece) Usually I keep this place to myself and not tell anyone but after using it for awhile I realize no one likes to workout in the middle of the night so it does not effect me. I'm currently looking for a gym with 24/7 shower, sauna and steam room but that's asking for too much.

I came for a refund and I spoke to the manager on site to follow up with the status of that refund. He said it was processed but there was no unit #. There's a solution for those kind of things and when I said I gave my address to the person who applied my refund he said it was not his problem and not his money basically your loss kind of attitude. Stupid atitude towards the issue and he add something about "this kid is more successful than you" and on that point I was stressed out and confused about what on earth is this guy talking about. I came for a refund and the manager was rude. In the end he just had to request it again. Why all the rude atitude when he just had to say as front face of that gym was... there's an issue but we can fix it. Such a unprofessional manager and unpleasantness in him.

I started working out here about a year and a half ago. Coming from goodlife the change wasn't even noticeable. I definelty wouldn't consider this a down grade. This is the best bang for your buck with massage chairs, hydro beds, tanning beds and everything required to get a good work out. The gym is clean, organized and the staff is very friendly. The fact that it's open 24/7 and has 2 hr parking validation is an added bonus. 5/5 star rating.

Fit4Less in Guelph is a fantastic gym. There are several types of cardio machines, and many of each type, so there are always machines available even during busy times, such as mornings. The gym has an abundance of free weights and resistance machines for those looking to do weight training. There is a section for top tier members only ($20/month), where you will find more free weights and machines. The gym is clean; you will often see staff cleaning and putting weights, etc away. The changeroom and washrooms/showers are also clean, and the area is large. I was a member for several years and was able to get to know the staff. They are super friendly and approachable and will always listen to any concern you may have, and will try to find a solution. I always enjoyed chatting with the managers and staff. Most are also members of the gym so you'll often see them working out. The people who go are also friendly and supportive. I became good friends with several members. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my membership (which was simple process), and I am at a different gym, but often I wish I was still at Fit4Less--I miss the members, staff, and the facility very much. And you can't beat the price. I recommend this gym 100 percent.

This gym has the worst customer service - period. When the St. Catharines location reopened after the virus hit, they started back with 60 minute sessions. I asked them to freeze my membership & payments until they allow patrons to be there for 90 minute sessions, which is the minimum I need. They froze it; but only for 30 days. Once that expired, they started charging me again but didn't tell me they were unfreezing my membership. I don't check my bank account too often so three months passed before I noticed I was being charged again. When I wrote to complain, they denied all blame. I demanded a refund for the fees they've taken when I haven't been using the gym, and which I've told them about already, AND an email to use so I can file a complaint with the company. They have refused both of those requests. In fact, they haven't even given me the courtesy of a response to those requests. I went to the St. Catharines location to complain and they cancelled my membership, however they are still going to collect fees from me for the next month. These people are sharks, and don't care about people, and in this time of covid, it sure shows how much they care about people dealing with tough budgetary decisions. I will never go back again!????

Replaced all the good equipment with new fit4less brand stuff. The padding on the new stuff is hard as a rock (I imagine it's to save money). The free weight benches are so high off the ground your feet practically dangle. Seems like they're designed for people 7 feet tall.

Terrible! I was excited to find a gym and decided to give Fit4Less a try. Didn't need anything fancy and something that is open late. However, COVID came by and the gym closed. About a month ago I got an email saying that the automatic payments would resume, or that I could freeze my membership. I decided to freeze it to be safe. About two weeks later I got another email saying payment failed and I was charged an additional 25$ for that. I emailed them asking to clarify and that I was not very happy about this and got an automated email stating they check their email once a week. I tried calling several times and nobody answered. Two weeks later I got another email with yet another 25$ charge. Keep in mind, for each of these charhest I was charged an additional 45$ from RBC for NSF fees. This whole ordeal costed me roughly 150$ which is more than an entire year at the gym. I wrote them an angry email and guess what, within 5 minutes they called me. However, they told me this is not their problem at all and the guy on the phone said he would speak to his management team and call me back within the hour. It is now two weeks later, I still haven't gotten any sort of refund, no communication, nothing. The whole idea was to find a cheaper gym than LA Fitness.... But with staff this poorly trained, lack of professionalism and communication, I'm prepared to pay the premium at LA Fitness afterall. Guess Fit4Less should get some commission for great marketing for OTHER gyms! I will also be taking this issue to corporate as we know see how incompetent the staff at the gym seem to be. Perhaps not all staff, but those I have dealt with make me feel as if I need new brain cells. Thanks for nothing Fit4Less!

I've been working out in North York location more than 1 year. Before that I've checked couple of others gyms but this one is number 1. The place is clean and the stuff is friendly and always willing to help and answer your questions. The people who visit this gym seem to be very motivated and dedicated and make you work out even harder to step up your health game. If you are looking for the right place to improve your health this is the place! The membership fees are so low that its like a gift!!! This review is actually for the new location at 5150 Yonge (under Hotel Novotel). Staff was super friendly, and equipment was bountiful and in good repair. While it's a bummer that there was no proper squat racks (they have the semi-proper ones that are better than the ole Smith machine), it was nice to visit town and have a gym this size directly under the hotel. One suggestion that could work very well for you though: setup a deal for guests at the Novotel as their in-house gym is a waste of space. Oh, and 7am is too late for a drop in. 6 am and I probably would've added the fifth star. Thanks!

Worst customer service I have ever had with a business in Canada! No online support! No contact us for change in membership! The only way to cancel the membership is going to club where the club is closed due to covid!! (THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENCE!). They have deliberately made cancelation extremely difficult to continue charging members without them being able to cancel it!

This is by far the worst run gym in town. I just got off the phone with the manger who yelled at me & hung up. I've been a loyal customer for several years now. And I canceled my membership several months ago, and they kept stealing money and took $60 yesterday. Karen had the audacity to tell me it was $10 and it's a joke and that I have no proof of asking them to remove my banking information! Even tho I don't have a membership there. Time to go to the bank to block these thief's!!

Super friendly staff, always clean and no judgement! The free indoor parking is limited to two hours so keep that in mind if you are planning to do some cardio and weights. Edit: I changed my mind from giving it 5 stars 4 because of how limited the parking is. If you are doing a full program and want to take a shower you have to really time yourself because of the 2 hours free parking. It's been few times I had to pay extra because of that!

Love this gym. Basic necessities. 10 bucks a month. It does have a tanning stall, hydro massage bed, and massage chairs for the VIP members. That's only 20 bucks a month. Down fall, no water fountain. They do sell drinks.

There’s no water fountain which is odd for a gym- and their tap water from the bathroom tastes weird. You can buy dinky water bottles from staff. Key words are “from staff” because the fridge is locked during unstaffed hours and there’s no vending machine. Some of regulars that go there reek of heavy cologne or perfume, some of cigarettes, and some like weed- which normally isn’t a big deal else where in the world but when you’re working out in a small gym taking lots of deep breathes it just makes an overall unpleasant experience. Their odour-free policy is a joke and not enforced in the slightest. They’re always having a paper towel shortage epidemic so people aren’t willing to search for paper towels from other paper towel stations (if there’s even any left) so the benches and machines are left with peoples sweat on them notoriously. Machines are always breaking and the repairs take forever just to have the same machine break down a week later. Cardio machines all have some sort of defect. Some’s heartbeat features are broken, some’s buttons on the interface don’t work, some (most) have obnoxious clicking sounds, etc so bring headphones. They play elevator music or pop music super loud that even with my Beats on the highest volume can still hear. They just switched from small membership fobs to fobs in the form of a card that’s suppose to be carried in your wallet- but I’m not 45 year old dad living in 2010- so for me personally it just takes up room in my small yet sufficient wallet that I limit to usually 1 or 2 cards. There’s no option to buy the smaller key fobs that go on the ring of your car keys. If they were innovative enough they’d make an app where you could scan your phone to get in. But these water-fountain-challenged imbeciles are anything but innovative. They have nice AC though.

I live in Ontario and visited the club this summer in August. It was in good shape then. Today, on Boxing day, is my fifth visit in the last week and I am not impressed. Bathrooms and floors have been dirty on each visit, staff is often not at the front desk during staffed hours, making it difficult to use the massage and tanning beds. Today took the cake though. The gym reeks of sewage or something equally disgusting smelling. Really not impressed at all. This puts to shame the other locations I have been to.

Fit4Less, a Goodlife brand, has a lot going for it. The gym is a big open space, there are lots of free weights and benches. There are also a lot of aerobic equipment so you never have to wonder if you're going to get a machine, at least that's the case first thing in the morning. And, you can't beat the price. If you're looking for classes, this is not your gym, but if classes aren't important, then this could easily work for you. There are showers/locker rooms. The cons: the equipment is often in need of repair. Not like at Goodlife where they're fixed pretty quickly, here a set of cables (there are only 2) can go for weeks without being repaired. So, you have to be willing to switch it up when this happens. Also, while they have stated hours, it seems that the front desk people don't take it very seriously, so on days when the gym opens at 6am, be prepared to wait around from time to time, like today, when we waited for half an hour.

Honest Review!! I’ve been going to this Fit4less location for almost a full year. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Bathrooms are well kept, machines look clean and from what I’ve seen so are the showers and change rooms. This gym is more for beginners, it has all the basic equipment you need to get in shape minus a few things you would think would be here i.e stackable platforms for aerobics, kettlebells, a true stair master not the stepper thing they have. They also have various virtual programs you can use in the back room or a virtual spin bike workout. This gym is advertised as a sort of “no frills” type of place so you’d think they could at least keep the equipment they do have in working order but they don’t. The chest fly cable machine- broken for a month, the other larger cable machine which can be adjusted to suit different exercises- broken, the machine leg press- broken. When I first started going machines would break and be fixed in a timely manner now it seems as though they just get forgotten.

I honestly thought she was the cleaning lady for a bit but it turns out she's just dedicated to the fit4less team ???????? ???????????? Side note: she also did this finger pointing gun motion thing to me as I left the gym, not sure that's cool to do anymore but I didn't hate it hahaha She needs a promotion. Best Gym and staff in town.

If you can get your timing right this is a fantastic gym. At peak times it's packed like any other gym, but it's limited space and equipment hold it back moreso than bigger gyms at peak hours. However I like to go early in the morning, and it's not unheard of for me to have almost the entire place to myself, which is awesome and not the case for the Park Lane goodlife, even at opening time. Keep in mind it's not great for serious lifting, but has enough to satisfy most people I think.

The gym policy only requires masks when traversing the gym, not while exercising. This is a ridiculous policy which endangers not only the members but also the staff and general public. Covid-19 is spread by heavy breathing - so a mask not worn while exerting is not achieving anything. Club 16 requires masks at all times. I feel very certain no physician approved Fit4Less/Goodlife's policy, particularly at the Vancouver location, which is very small. I think Fit4Less should show more concern for their members during the pandemic. Their policy is reckless and foolish.

This is my 2nd review of Fit4Less since I joined the gym back in April 2017 and I am happy to say that things have only gotten better. Where to begin? Well, I think the most relevant place is the role of Manager falling on Tyler's shoulders a bit more than I year ago I believe. I think I speak for the vast majority of clients at the gym in saying that Tyler is a very thoughtful, attentive, intelligent, courteous, insightful, and other complimentary adjectives, young man who takes his role as Manager very seriously and demonstrates evident pride and seriousness with maintaining and continuously improving the gym. I consistently find Tyler happy to listen to feedback, whether laudatory or critical, and I walk away from our conversations well satisfied that he has taken my comments to heart and is working on a way to incorporate them into the gym's operation. Now, it is not reasonable to expect Tyler, or any Manager, to be able to make any and all requests actionable, nor that changes be realized immediately, but patience and faith, in my experience with the gym, have never failed to be rewarded. 1. Equipment : Awesome new additions to the gym! I remember asking Tyler on and off over the past several months if another Squat Rack could be added since they are in such high demand. Boom. Now there are 4 Racks instead of 3. The improvement in access is noticeable. 4 Bench Presses instead of 3. Great. I remember talking to Tyler about glute training a while ago, and a few months later, we had a Hip Thruster Machine. All the ***Surprise!*** additions in equipment have been very welcome. Standing Calf Raise Machine. And the TRX / Battle Rope / Jungle Gym equipment is a great addition for variety. 2. Client Gym Maintenance : I'm the kind of person who can't stand idly by (most of the time) when I see less than polite gym etiquette. I used to find myself asking people to please clean their equipment, and put away weights, or mats, on a much more frequent basis. I've noticed a real improvement in this regard and I attribute it to Tyler and the rest of staff setting a good example, which sets a standard clients follow. And I also believe my consistent reminder to many clients (some might call it heckling) has made a small contribution to this positive change (self pat). Conclusion : I couldn't be happier with how the gym continues to provide an exceptional value and simultaneously consistently improves. "The leader sets the tone", and I think it is thanks to Tyler, and his dedication to his Managerial role that this continues to be an absolutely awesome gym experience.

I can understand that, however, staff member was incredibly rude and condescending while my partner and I were trying to maintain 10ft rule while alternating.

PLEASE TURN ON THE SHOWERS!!! If we've learned anything about virus prevention in the last 18 months, it's that CLEANLINESS is key in avoiding the spread of viruses and harmful bacteria. You do a terrific job at this location of sanitizing and spacing out equipment, which I must commend your staff for doing very well, but keeping the showers closed while almost every other gym in K-W has reopened their showers makes me want to take my business there for that reason alone! I love this gym, and the great things it has to offer, but when I have to drive 20 minutes home (near Shakespeare) covered in my own, and other people's sweat from using the equipment and not being allowed to shower after, makes ZERO sense from a medical, health, or common sense standpoint. I understand we're all trying to figure out the best way to navigate the times we live in, but not allowing post workout showers doesn't make sense to anyone. Please address this and I'll remove this review. Thanks!

Why spend $40+ more a month... Gym has everything I need to get a good workout, whether it's cardio, strength training, yoga etc. My only issues: is not always staffed, which is only a problem if you would like a shower on Saturday morning before work (like me). Also, lacking a squat rack. If you're a fan of free weights like me this is sorely lacking. Have to use the Smith machine. Otherwise great gym!

No star. I had a really bad experience with them. I am a black card member and felt like being profiled. I went at 4:30pm. The lady representative was acting rude to us. I would like to file a complaint about the representative who was showing rude attitude to us. There was also a good guy representative who did explain the situation and we were escorted out of the building. I really appreciate the behavior of that guy. I know what they said was right, but 'the way she said' was totally disrespectful and we both felt insulted in front of other clients . Pls contact me for further details and elevating the complaint to higher level. Since I got this feedback from your staff, in future I would never recommend Fit4Less to any of my friends and family.

Awesome gym. I have paid way more in other gyms with worse machines and nonchalent staff. The entire staff including the manager Deanna is great and cheerful . It's a no BS gym, no upselling , no unecessary personal training membership . To top it all change rooms and washrooms are squeaky clean. The best part it costed me just $182 for the entire year of membership ! What more could I ask for.

I’ve had my membership here for one year this past January. In December, I went into my location to cancel my membership. The employee told me that my membership was ending in January but I could choose to pay the cancellation fee if I wanted to, but I said no. It’s February 23rd and I am still getting charged. When I called, the employee told me it’s in their “policy and terms” that they charge your card until you cancel and then they still charge you for the next 30 days. I asked for my money back and she told me no. They claim that your membership is over but still charge you.. in what world does that mean the membership is over? You have to have 4 IQ points to come up with a policy like that. The customer service is terrible, I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone.

The staff are friendly here and it is quite clean. The only complaint I have is that they allow customers (usually men) to grunt exceedingly loudly, drop heavy weights (barbells) on the floor, and stare at women. It makes the atmosphere pretty uncomfortable, especially when it's nearly every day of the week.

One of the best gyms I’ve been to. For $5/$10 bi-weekly you can’t do any better. This gym has pretty much everything most gyms have. There is a lot of space compared to other Fit4Less locations. This is also the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to! The owner and staff do a great job cleaning and keeping the gym tidy. The owner can be seen moving weights around so everything is where it is supposed to be. There is free parking also for 2 hours! Very well managed gym!

This is like my second home as I come here daily. This gym isn't the perfect gym by all means but it does its job for the price you pay at. For $4.99 every two weeks, that's a great place if you know how to workout. You can either pay biweekly or there is an annual option as well. No employed trainers here at all and no sales pitches as well. The facility and equipment are pretty new. It can get quite busy during specific hours like after work and lunch. I like how its an open space and you can see everything that they offer. Dumbbell weights go up to 100 pounds. There are around 5 benches for the weights area. They are open 24/7. Now here are the cons: bad thing is that there are 3 individual change rooms and when it gets busy, there is definitely a line for one (or you can change in the shower rooms). No water fountains so BYOW (Bring Your Own Water). No towel service. No classes (a DIY gym). Every minute, there are two beeping noises from the 30 minute workout area. The weights area like benches, dumbbells, and machines can get busy at times so I have to eye out what I want to do next when it is busy. If you smash the weights down really hard, there is an alarm that rings saying that it was too loud. I've only heard it go off once with my time being there. Staff are friendly and stand behind the counter majority of the time. There is 2 hours of free parking so that is an added bonus for members as that area has no free parking at all. Overall, I'm happy with this gym since it is what you get for $4.99 every two weeks.

When I first started coming here it was brand new and not very busy. The gym was clean and there was always enough equipment to go around. I'm sure if you just did free weights it's great, but for someone who does the weightlifting machines and occasionally cardio (when literally every machine isn't taken) I've become very disappointed. The amount of people who sit on machines and just text or talk to their friends standing beside them is ridiculous. If you want to talk there are tables and chairs at the front or you can go to McDonald's down the street. I don't understand why you would go to a gym if you weren't going to work out. People also don't wipe down their machines and staff don't seem to mind. The staff don't really seem to do anything. I was there for more than an hour and the sanitizer bottle was missing from the closest station to the machines and it didn't seem to really matter. The floors are gross so are the bathrooms and the change rooms are now covered in garbage. Machines have been broken for weeks and there's no sign that they're going to be fixed. I very much want to cancel my membership but I also remember that I really did like this gym and would like to have that feeling again. For now though it's just too frustrating.

The Langley facility is very clean and there are plenty of machines. The gym is open 24/7 but only staffed mornings and afternoons. The price is also the best I have found in Langley. I give the gym facility a 4 because I would have liked there to be water fountains and I give the staff a 1 because they are not pleasant to talk to. They see like they are constantly too busy for you despite them not actually being busy. Naturally they facility is more important than the staff so that is why I give three stars.

Pre-pandemic I was happy with this gym. I never had much need to interact with the staff. For the price, you get good equipment but not much else. I'm pretty low maintenance so that worked for me. Post-pandemic, I had to interact with the staff a bit more. After months of not going to the gym I had lost my gym card. They wanted to charge me for it. It's not so much the fact that they were going to charge me considering the circumstances, but the staff's attitude during the interaction. It's clear they don't care about customer satisfaction or retention. The one guy was actually flat out rude to me when my workout time was up. I went back once during the pandemic and haven't gone back since. Even at the cheap price, the uncomfortable experience is not worth it. I called the gym to cancel my membership and the person on the phone was clearly apathetic.

Wow, can anyone book a gym session. The web platform that is used is not efficient and slow. But yet are okay with taking my monthly payments when there isn't a lockdown. I think they are doing what they can given the circumstances, but I think in terms of customer service there can be an upgrade.

An absolutely phenomenal gym! I travel all the way from Brampton to go here. The staff are wonderful and the gym is always clean! I've been to other locations and many of them are either dirty, showers don't work well or customer service is disappointing. The only ask I have is if it would be possible to get wifi. Being in the basement of North York Center, it's challenging to get service to access your workouts. Other than that, keep up the phenomenal work.

I'm giving this place 5 stars not because it is the best gym but it's the best gym for the money. It's lacking a few things for serious lifters but has more than enough for the average gym goer. Place is always clean. The machines are new and everything is kept in working order. I'd pay the membership fee just to use the tanning and massage chairs.

This is the worst managed gym ever. I know because I used to work here two years ago. The “showers” (smaller in width than a dog house) barely work. Staff are rarely there in the website’s posted hours. With no notice as to why. They will only put a tiny little sign by the front for when no staff work on holidays. Other than that it is all at fault of the staff. The obvious reason is that they don't want to wake up at 6am for $11/hour. If you are someone who gets up before work to workout and loves to go to work sweaty and smelling bad on several occasions, this is the gym for you! For a low price of $4.99 plus the $44 membership fee, you get to go to the crappiest gym in North America!! And the best part, once you sign up, they try to lock you in for a year so you can’t leave!! P.S: creepy old men sleep there overnight and the “bodybuilders” scream louder than the last one night stand you had.

I transferred to this location after being a happy member of the East Gwillimbury location for a couple of years. I have to be honest, you get what you pay for. There are ample machines both weights and cardio, but there are a lot of them in rough shape, and out of order. I guess what bothers me the most is the lack of any form of customer service at the gym. I know what it's like to have made minimum wage, but I really don't understand why the staff feels the need to sit in the office 90% of the time. And when they aren't, are involved in some sort of weird high-school like gossip exchange with each other or members. Super uncomfortable in a gym environment. Get out there, clean some machines, fill the paper rolls, tidy the change rooms, and make the members feel as though they are welcomed when they come in. I can't really complain at $10 bi-weekly, but I know there are people out there dying to show their customer service skills and have a job - perhaps training? Policies? Or just pick team members with a good attitude. It IS POSSIBLE, and have seen it at my old location.

It says the end date is Jul 2019, that’s why I thought I don’t need to notify them to stop the membership. If you guys wanna stop the membership, you MUST notify them at least a month ago. Pretty crowded during afternoons but they've got all the equipment you'll ever need for 11.99 bi-weekly. You can book a work out as early as 6:30am and as late as 9pm So it's probably the best gym membership in Ontario. Only rating 4 stars because it's overcrowded with beginners and some what experienced members.

Nice place to come and workout especially at night time when it's not packed. Only problem is that when people workout, they leave the free weights all over so it's hard to find the proper weights. And also people leave there water bottles and paper towels all over, there are garbage bins but they still leave them all over the floor.

Worst Fit4less location ever!! Staff are rude and are unfriendly. But I can give the rude staff an excuse due to the horrible conditions they are working in as the gym is generally smelly, not ventilated (ventilation exists, but looks like the cheap gym management is just trying to save some money, so the system is never turned on), messy and the washrooms are complete disaster and terrible filth. Dumbells are always misplaced. The best times to go to the gym are after midnight, otherwise you're stuck wasting your time waiting for people to finish using the machines, this is in addition to the sweaty smell, extreme heat due to crowdedness, unhealthy environment (not good air to breathe). I can't believe such gym with such awful conditions exists in Canada.

Walked in to pick up my membership that had already been paid for by my fiancé earlier in the day and the staff that were there were quite rude and talked to me like I was gum on the bottom on their shoe, they definitely liked flirting with my fiancé though. Overall a good gym with plenty of equipment, friendly staff, and decent members. It's hard to complain about a gym that is so cheap that you forget you're even paying for it. Most of the equipment is functional with the odd one being out of service, but not for too long. Crowds do get busy during normal peak times, but what do you expect for a cheap gym in a busy area? 24/7 access is a big bonus. The only reason I knocked them a star is because the change rooms get funky sometimes - considering the clientele it's hard to blame the actual gym. The lockers could use an update as some of them are broken or pretty banged. I have used the showers once and won't be doing that again. As I said before though these are minor things that won't be changing the fact I can get a good workout in for a very good price.

The staffs who work in 5150 Yonge Fit4less are extremely rude and not helpful at all. When I ask a question, they behave like they do not wanna an answer but they feel they have to and I can see it in their faces. As an advantage of having a black card, I can buy beverages with %50 discount, right? But guess what, they do not sell it because their poss machine is not working. So what is the point of having a black card? And another story about the machines. I understand that due to pandemic rules, machines are not allowed to be used. But 3-4 machines in a row are not allowed to use because they are broken. It is not about pandemic or restrictions. I am planning to cancel my brother's, my roommate's and my memberships soon.

Though whom compliant upon fit4less establishment without a doubt there is alot of unprofessionlism in staff as well the manager. Pros= it's Cheap rates per month Cons= Disorganized , laziness , alot of the time staff don't show up for shifts due too the party the night before. (Hung over) slouched position. Trust me I know I've seen alot of staff come an go some on their own as some terminated or quit. They don't like interacting with certain client due too their cultural hygiene. Ignorance/rude staff they dont interact with clients at all unless it's courtesy towards tanning or massage bed/chair ( Dresden Rd ) mind you. Personally I've left for three months to clear all the non sense too return too a nightmare. I wished I'd never made that mistake of return the (Manager) I've been a member for three years in that three years I've help catered too needs of staff as I've knew most the staff well enough too hold social respect towards building courtship too leave an return too some new staff being disrespectful towards me as the manager in her emotion's blocking my membership too other facilities. Word of advice; Never allow you're staff deal with a customer whom been a member prior newly hires especially when you as a manager might have some differences too work out. That's you're Duty/Job not their's which ended up in a catastrophe all because the Manager appointed a newly hire too fill the shoes to address it's matter.

Never explained their system in the gym. If they told us earlier that you can only workout for 1 hr and 15 mins and rebook again if you want to extend, I wouldn't have registered here! Same day I canceled the membership, until now no email about the cancellation or the refund. Fix the problem then everything will be good.

My favourite location. Largest Fit4less gym that I have been to so far. Quite pleased with the abundant variety of exercise machines and gym equipment available. Never had to line up or wait for equipment during peak hours. Tanning, massage chairs and change rooms on site. Bring your own water bottle, plug in your earphones and enjoy your workout!
