Gym has now taken double pay ments twice from me since I signed up 3 months ago and will not take responsible or blame for their mistakes. After my 1 year term is up I will be going to a better gym where they do not hire immature and extremely unprofessional employees.

Overall clean gym, lots of exercise equipment. Tanning beds,massage chairs, always towles to clean equipment. Friendly staff. There is different sections of exercise equipment. Which makes it easy to choose what area you want to work on. I like the cardio section has lots to choose from bikes, ellipticals, stair climber, treadmills. It's all for under 30 bucks too so cant go wrong. That's the all inclusive package with tanning and massage chairs. Well worth it. Even less busy at 730 to 9ish thank you!!

Put my account into the negative 120 dollars with NSF fees after being unclear about payments. I went for 3 days now I owe my bank a pile of money and they still continue to try and take more even though I have emailed them several times (including “head” office) asking them to stop. Complete thieves and crooks do not give them your bank account info, do not waste your time with this place. Would have been cheaper for me to buy a home gym at this point.

Seriously. These guys and their administrative bs is a nightmare to get through. Great gym, absolutely terrible policies, staff and they don't tell you about the "mandatory fitness assessment" which is actually a sales tactic for a personal trainer. If location is your thing, have at it. If you are looking for ease, convenience and a friendly staff, totally look elsewhere.

I just signed up for Crunch Fitness. I used to go to World Gym up until 2016 but the Kitchener location wasn't sanitary and the environment wasn't good either. Too many people throwing weights and equipment around, not putting it in place, and not wiping anything down. This location is new, clean (which is key) and seems like just about everyone is very respectful of the gym. I know it can be tough as you can't babysit your members going, but it's nice to see that the people coming are treating the gym well. I hope to be a member here for as long as I'm in Cambridge over the next few years! Keep it up! :)

Clean facility. Not as busy as other gyms. Unfortunate that they don't have a sauna at this location but they do at the pinebush one. If you have the $21.95 a month membership then you can visit it. Staff is very nice. And you can't beat the monthly price. Lots of equipment to chose from. Good clientele.

World gym in kw.. kitchener waterloo Cambridge. .. what a joke bad service.. rule's that just the kw have... run down equipment.. machines have grease nipples so you can grease them and useven them correctly looks like no one has ever done that.... changing hours used to be 247 with Sunday closed a bit early for cleaning..... tried to call head office for the kw which is all owned by one guy and speak to some one never had gotten that call back... just crap might as well pay for any other gym and get clean up kept equipment.. that u can use.... truly go look at the one in Scarborough and ill be like wow but kw is all about pay pay pay and u mean nothing to me.....

Clean, bright, and has a lot of decent equipment. Can get fairly busy at times, but there’s always a lot of cardio machines available and there is generally a fair amount of equipment if you are able to be flexible or to work in with other gym goers. Staff are always friendly and pleasant. Changing room is remarkably clean compared to most gym changing rooms. Wish they offered later weekend hours, but the 24 hour Monday - Thursday schedule is great.

I do not recommend anyone to sign up at Crunch for a month to month contract because they will charge you an annual fee even if you only used the gym for a month. They have the rudest manager I have ever seen, who doesn't care about customer satisfaction. DO NOT SIGN UP!!!

CUSTOMERS BEWARE! After deciding to cancel my member ship at the beginning of August by phone (told that I can't do it in person) I was made assured that membership was cancelled, my credit card was charged again at the late August, I called to learn that my membership was not cancelled and they need to do cancellation again, now I will be charged again at the end of September! Manager assured that she will inquire with staff but nothing happened! Unathorized charging on my credit cards for this gym is pretty common! Moreover, staff doesn't care, gym is dirty, very low quality! DO NOT USE IT, UNSAFE, UNETHICAL!

Clean and very well equipped gym. Staff is good and the time I go to it’s not that busy. Locker room has plenty of space and washroom and shower are kept clean. They have a small training room for classes as well. Plenty of disinfectant spray bottles around (if only people would use them). Just wish they would have more water fountains.

I love this gym- lots of different equipment to use and friendly staff. I especially go for the zumba classes- Carolina is amazing! The only con I can say about the zumba classes is that some days of the week, it's very low intensity and I don't get a good workout. Just two minor things here, but it would be great for subtitles to appear on the TV screens, and for there to be a scale for everyone to use.

The gym has nice staff. The gym is very clean and open. There are so many machines that I didn't know some of them. If your looking for something more, you can buy VIP and get classes with instructors on things from yoga to zumba and everything in between! Buy it doesn't stop there, they also have tanning rooms and water massage. The water massage feels amazing and fixed my back. Overall, this is way better than all the other gyms, especially price wise. If you looking for somewhere to work out but only have $10+tax/month then this is the place for you!

They changed their hours. Instead of 24 hr. They now close at 11 pm which is very inconvenient for someone who has work until 12 midnight. Before, I was able to go to their gym and stayed until 2-3 am. Now I can't even go except for my days off :(. Only 2 stars because they're still affordable. I can only hope they're back on 24 hrs and this is just temporary for some reason. I really like their gym. I might even have to cancel and go to a different one. (Which I don't want to because some gyms are expensive for me and this is the only affordable gym I can go to.)

Nice, clean gym. Friendly staff. Great location & price. Only downside is there's just 1 squat bar and I wish there was a stretching/yoga area outside of the class studio instead of having to find a little mat to put down, but what do you expect for $10 per month. 5 stars overall. Location price and cleanliness make up for any short comings.

Good place to work out. Great equipment and chill environment. I find best times to work out is before 2 PM or after 7 PM, a lot less people. Depending on the staff, they totally forget to bring out new towels for people to wipe down equipment.

Good value for money base on what membership options cost. Adequate equipment for the flow of gym base on my observation. Improved group fitness class options that includes cardio like zumba, yoga, weight training. Not enough early morning or late evening options for group fitness. Schedule not ideal for people who work 9 to 5 out of town or people who cannot make it to the gym before 6:30pm. Gym staff have wonderful customer service. Out of service equipment take way too long to be serviced. The atmosphere is very friendly and judgement free. Gym is not 24hrs 7 days a week as advertised. Mon-Thurs 24hrs.

I dont recommend this gym. They make you wear a face mask while exercising even though the government regulations say it is not mandatory.No one is doing cardio more than a couple minutes because it becomes hard to breathe. Fitness facilities exist to IMPROVE your health but it seems Crunch doesnt care really care about your health in this case..I Have Membership With LA Fitness As well And They Are Not forcing Us to Wear A Mask While Using Equipments And While Doing Cardio.

Reasonably convenient and very clean. Machines have some wear and tear. It's on the second floor and gets hot during the summer - especially during the day, so they need to set the ac a bit higher. My biggest complaint is that the music is WAY too loud. Most people, including myself, have their own. I had mine cranked and still couldn't drown it out. Needs to be turned down!!!

I do love this gym... But fact is, it is corporate and very scummy. They won't tell you about how signing up for personal training is contract and that you have to either buy out or sell it to someone else. Do NOT go to the "free consultation", and do not buy into anything else they feed you. Just get the simple pack and do your own thing. Do not let them rope you into anything. I'm doing it to spare you the pain I just went through.

Same issue as others below. Charged for another year when I had cancelled on time as my daughter didn't use the gym. Had issues getting any respectful response from both the manager and rep (Kyle and Holly- both apparently no longer employed). Finally got a response a few months back that it was being processed. Still nothing. Called today. Put on hold for 5 minutes rudely and now nobody answers. Ridiculous.

They had charged me 2 months of dues during lockdown when they were open to limited reservations only. You would have to be on nasa servers to even imagine getting a spot. Right from the getgo I was put off by their bs marketting tactics. Don't be fooled by the 10$ a month as that does not include the 60 to 70 $ that they pull out of your account annually. Crooks!

Great place, staff is friendly weekdays and weekends, I always come in the morning, so it's nice to have cheerful people there. Was really impressed watching the staff member Sunday morning walking around cleaning equipment in her free time. Essentially started at one side and went over everything not being used. There is a member who doesn't wear masks or clean equipment after use. Been brought to the attention of staff but they're intimidated by him. Be nice to see the manager lead instead of deligate. It's not fair for min wage employees to be put in an enforcement position. Manager seems MIA. Never seen him here since reopening.

I have not attended this gym personally, but a friend of mine who recently joined Crunch is having HUGE issues with this company making unauthorized charges on his Visa. So far they have NOT refunded him despite his several requests

Worst experience. Tried a lot to contact the Crunch, Galt, Canada for cancellation of my membership as i had to move to other province and also, did not feel to go to gym due to Covid. On 8th March, I submitted a request to cancel via email, following that suddenly my fees deducted around 15 march. I called them, the customer representative told me that the cancellation will be effective after one month of request (which was submitted on March 8). Till today did not received any confirmation or any mail regarding it, all i got is deduction of around 70 dollars (with visit history/check in of 0 days) on 14th May. I asked explanation regarding it but no response. Don’t know what to do now.

Great place to work out, staff and members are friendly( haven't seen many shady looking people there and I normally go after dark so that is a plus) the equipment is well maintained. Has tanning,hydro massage, and studio... but no pool. Can use a better music Playlist because what ever they play is more lounge type and doesn't necessary make u want to get your pump going. Staff is friendly and will great you when coming and going. Could use access from main street instead of having to come in from a back door type feel.

DO NOT SIGN UP HERE. I cancelled my membership March 16. They sent me a forged document. that amended the "Cancel" to "Freeze Request". I responded and received no reply. I was charged an annual maintenance fee many months later. i am currently awaiting a response as to the status of my account with them. This company is a scam, find a real Gym to sign up for. These Jokers wont be around for very long. Update- a day after an email was sent regarding the charge, a monthly fee was charged to my account. This place continues to charge over half a year after a cancellation. A threat was made to me that if i were to put a stop payment with my bank, they would send it to collections. this is ridiculous.

Just don't do it. They'll take advantage of you every chance they get. I paid for an entire year just before the pandemic hit....they owed me when I canceled. No refund. They randomly and without notice started charging my credit card 6 month's later, and required 30 days notice to stop payments. The manager was supposed to call me 4 weeks ago...I'm not holding my breath.

Went in February 2019 from a email promo to get me to come back to this gym. They would forgive past fees I owed and $60 for 6 months which I thought was a good deal, well go in and the guy says that promo is no longer in the system it ended that day I went in. He said he would call the manager and he came back and told myself and my husband that he can give me a deal of one time payment of $24 odd change for a hole year membership and did not require my banking information because there would be no charges I needed to pay. This seemed to good to be true so myself and my husband asked questions and asked several times that I just had to pay this one fee for a hole year and he reassured us several times that was in fact the deal and he was quite surprised of this deal as well but said they wanted me to come back as a member. I got a phone call from apparently the manager Chelsea saying they did not have the right banking information to take out this month payment so of course I explained the deal that I was offered and she kept saying there was no way that anyone would offer this deal and went on to tell me I signed up for regular rates only thing they offered was to forgive my past fees. Which is total BS why would I sign back up with NO deal at all when I clearly showed the guy the email offer I would never sign back up for no offer when I know other gyms offer better deals and are actually open 24/7 unlike this joke of 7pm on weekends. Also a manager that had worked here before left because of a Sexual assault from another employee at this gym. Said manager is now manager at another Gym
