After 3 + years I am still obsessed with this gym. Staff are so friendly, so helpful. Other member are as well. Gym is clean. Classes are great, I go at 11am weekdays and it is never busy at all, awesome.

I give a 1 star review to the facility, but I give a 5 star review to the personal training director, Michelle Langstaff, and Pam Patterson. Those 3 lovely ladies helped me greatly with my fitness goals, unfortunately nothing else about the gym did. Would recommend elsewhere...

I have belonged to 4 other gyms in the Burlington area in the last 10 years and none of them have come close to Womens Fitness Clubs of Canada Burlington. It is bright and clean, has fantastic hours, the members and staff are always friendly and the classes are amazing. If you are looking to challenge yourself with a hardcore workout in a small group, then the Tribe Fit program with Joanna Ressi is the way to go. She is a fantastic motivator and the team atmosphere will keep you coming back. I started the program over a year and a half ago and I can't stop! If one on one personal training is more your style then Taylore Claxton is your girl. Her energy is infectious and her workouts are always fun so she makes me forget how hard I'm working, until the next day when the pain sets in of course! :)

Its been a little over 7 months since I've joined and I have had an excellent experience at this gym! It lived up to all of my expectations. The only exception were the hours of operation. I just wish the gym was open later. However, the staff was friendly, the work space was always clean and the bathrooms and showers were always clean. I loved all the programs they had to offer! Including the personal training and the classes we were offered to join. Its really a great space to work out especially with the really motivating music playing in the background. I am sad to leave , but if there is another Women's Fitness in the area where I am moving to, I would join without hesitation! Thank you for the great experience!

For years I tried to get healthier and stronger on my own with little success. I finally realized I needed help to support me on my transformation journey. Making the call for a consultaion about how training would benefit me was my first step in the right direction. I was educated about the possibilities and difference that training for specific results would make in helping me reach my fitness goals. After discussing membership options, I was so inspired that I booked a year of training on the spot. It was clear from the beginning that my new trainer Natasia, was committed to making this work for me. She took great care in establishing my fitness level at our first session together, then designed a specific program for me from where I was currently at, without overwhelming me, making things too difficult or causing injury. I am so excited and confident that I am able to see my long term vision. With a great plan in place, I believe I can achieve it! I appreicate Natasia and am so grateful to have her lead the way. Boy what a year! I’ve been going to the gym for 8 years now but unfortunately I put my fitness routine on hold for the past year. I decided I needed to get back into it but needed help. Laura set me up with Daniela Radoman with personal training sessions and I felt my confidence come back. Daniela is AWESOME! She gives me workouts that take my physical issues into account and She motivates me to do more every week. Now with another lockdown I was concerned I’d be on hold again. Daniela hooked me up with the LIFT sessions and I am able to continue working with Daniela from the convenience of my home. I was hesitant at first but I tell you it’s working out sooo well. Daniela brings so much to the table . She is very knowledgeable, motivating and encourages me to do more. Definitely a must try!

This gym is by far the best I’ve ever been to. Everyone seems to really care about your progress. Their social media is full of expert advice, tips, videos and routines to follow, and they are constantly keeping things fresh and interesting. Which totally helps to navigate through all of the information out there on exercising and meal planning, diets and such. I joined the tribe team training, which you don’t have to be a member of the gym to join, and it has honestly been the best experience I’ve ever had working out. It’s a small group atmosphere so it’s social as well as competitive and Pam our trainer brings the best energy, knowledge and experience to the classes, which are never the same and always challenging. You can tell she really cares and enjoys leading these classes and that she’s passionate about creating an environment that empowers us and pushes us to thrive and grow stronger. I would recommend WFCC to everyone!

I am in my sixth and final week of TRIBE FIT ... it has been tough but so much fun and although at the start of each session I thought I would never make it I did and the best bit is I am getting faster and stronger! Pam has been my trainer and I love her, she's so knowledgeable and helpful, she always seems to pop up beside you when you are struggling and motivates you along. Its a tough class but we have all levels on our team and I can say hand on heart each and everyone of us has become stronger and faster in the six weeks. I've signed up again for the next six week session!

It's such a clean gym and the staff are so Friendly! I love that the lockers are creat our own code and you don't need a lock. The gym equipment is clean and up to date. Not to mention, it's affordable!!

Really enjoyed going to the gym because of its location. Their 'non-commitment plan' is the best if you are considering working out on your own. This plan is suitable for those who are only coming into the gym by self-motivation. However, I was more motivated because of the gym equipment and facilities. There were various classes as well as machines and equipment for different focusing of the body. Saw progress in three months and was very pleased. Staff were also very friendly and nice! Will definitely return back for next summer!

My training experiences with Michelle Langstaff were outstanding and I continue to use her plans to help re-shape my body. She has a degree in Kinesiology, so her knowledge and background helped to modify exercises and create a focus each time I'm at the gym. She is consistent and motivating, and really helps women maximize their time at the gym and feel better about using equipment and achieving fitness goals. I've had other experiences with trainers at a different gym, and Michelle definitely exceeded my expectations. She's absolutely one of the experts on my Dream Team of professionals helping me to lead a life of healthy fitness. A shout-out to Shira's awesome jams, too! I always appreciate decent music at the gym! :)

Before the lockdown, I decided to take charge of my physical health. Nicole came in and blow my expectations out of this world! I couldn’t have imagined my journey without her. I have always doubted getting a trainer because I wasn’t sure about pace and if I would be able to keep up. She has been amazing and I would have been worried through this lockdown if it wasn’t for Nicole!! With the 3rd lockdown, working out became more and more challenging. There may be fancier clubs out there - I used to have memberships to many of them throughout the course of my life - but there are few gyms that actually provide the service that this place does. I drive a town over five days a week to go to this place. It may not have the pool or be enormous, but it is a good size, has amazing classes, great equipment and fantastic and knowledgeable staff that actually know what they are doing. From my experience, the place has always been clean. I find the place extremely comfortable (workout area, studio, change room, relaxing sitting area, showers, etc.) and the sauna is nice to relax in. The best part of my experience are the two trainers I work with … Chelsea and Judice are encouraging, professional, supportive and know how to whip me into shape! Thank you!

It has been a long time since I have ventured to hire a personal trainer. I have had the pleasure of working with Daniela Radoman. I am always greeted with with a huge smile and a keen interest in my ability to do better. Organized and motivated to challenge me, Daniela has inspired me to lose weight with her specialized program. It is working because she truly cares about my progress. I have been a club member since it opened. I have been attending classes with Tracey, Melissa and Joe and still really enjoy them. I recently started attending Joanna Ressi's classes on Tuesday evenings. Her classes are great. I enjoy Joanna's classes because I feel push myself harder than I thought I could. I enjoy the cardio workout I get from her classes. I wish she would have another evening with similar classes or maybe a boot camp class. Actually her Tuesday evening classes somtimes feel like boot camp!

She is friendly when needed, and can be pushy when needed ;) Bottom line is, she cares and she works hard to understand why some things work for me and some things don't. Julie Robinson Julie is an exceptional instructor whose knowledge of her profession is admired by all. Our club is fortunate to have her as part of the staff as she is certified not only in pilates but also a certified pelvic floor instructor, which, I cannot stress enough how this is an important benefit to our members. She not only challenges us to the max (if we choose) she also introduces some "surprise" moves to the unsuspecting members which makes it interesting and fun. Her classes are varied which is key.. She has a warm personality and good sense of humor. Her awards she received in the past is no surprise.

I joined Womens Fitness in Burlington one year ago, and I am very impressed by every single aspect of it! Staff are friendly and professional, and there is so much equipment and many classes which appeal to me. In the spring, I took advantage of a special offer for personal training. I was fortunate enough to be set up with Personal Trainer Kerry Brettschneider who taught me several fun routines and gave me many pointers on getting the most out of my workouts. Kerry really motivated me and I have lost 10 pounds since the beginning of July! I have struggled to lose weight for five years, and I am finally achieving that.

I've been a member at a number of gyms, but there is no gym that compares to Women's Fitness. This gym truly cares about its members. This is evident in how clean and well maintained the gym is on daily basis. Also, by simply working out on a regular basis, members are provided with free T-shirts, gym bags and personal training sessions. Any questions or concerns are quickly addressed by management or the front desk. They are all second to none. I've done personal training with Michelle Langstaff and would recommend a personal trainer to anyone, especially if you've had injuries or simply need solid, effective workout sessions. Michelle ensures that I'm doing all exercises properly, so as to avoid injury. She designed each personal training session especially for me and provided a print-out at the end of each session so I can continue on my own. I felt very uncomfortable returning to a gym after such a long time (due to injury) but, with each session, Michelle built up my strength and stamina and gave me the confidence I needed to incorporate a workout on a daily basis. Michelle is laser-focussed on providing me with challenging workouts while being very attentive to my overall well-being. Group sessions are also very effective and the gym offers many programs for small groups of people. I completed a 6-week TRX session with Pam Patterson. The benefit of these sessions is that you still have a personal trainer ensuring you are doing all the exercises effectively, while having teammates to further keep you challenged. These sessions differ on a weekly basis and, at the end of each class, you feel incredibly energized. Pam always starts her classes with warm-ups and finishes with stretches. In between, there is always a fabulous full body workout. Both personal trainers and group trainers work you to your maximum. It's evident they care about their clients by the amount of planning that goes into each session. Incorporating the gym into my daily life has been a huge benefit both physically and mentally ... especially effective in reducing stress.

I have been a client of Pam Patterson at WFCC for many years. Her positive, cheerful, helpful style kept me focused and coming back since I am not disciplined enough to do it on my own. And at 76 I won't be bullied. When Covid shut everything down, I simply stopped working out. Even when the gym opened up I was reluctant to go back. When Pam offered me the opportunity for her to train me using LIFT I jumped at it. The app is easy to use. I see her, she sees me and she has tools to show the alignment of my body during exercises so I can do them right. It doesn't require a lot of space or special equipment and the sessions are recorded so I can go back and do them on my own. As with in house Pam can adapt every session to any special needs I have on any particular day. Thanks Pam, WFCC and LIFT for giving me a great way to stay fit and safe.

Enjoyed the gym but during my initial fitness consultation a trainer told me I was in the 'high risk' category for body fat. I'm 5'9 and I weigh 135 lbs...average body weight and not what anyone would consider fat. Clearly a tactic designed to convince clients to sign up for personal training. I found it pretty ridiculous and offensive. Other than that, the gym was great.

I love this gym - it is clean, the classes are excellent, the equipment is current and the instructors are clearly well-trained. I'm just starting my second TRIBE Core program with Ruth, who is fantastic. I love the team environment, the exercises (which I would NEVER do on my own) and Ruth's commitment to us as a group. Ruth creates an inviting atmosphere, a safe environment...and she pushes us to work hard. Just what I need. :)

I have been a member for about 2 yrs now and I love it. My personal trainer Ruth Charles is awesome! I see her twice a week for almost 2 years now and look forward to every session with her. My workouts with her are never the same. My sessions with her have included TRX, bodyweight training and weight training. I love how she is constantly switching things up and keeping things interesting. I am definitely a stronger woman thanks to her! I was even able to complete a 7k Mudder last summer thanks to our sessions together. Would highly recommend Ruth as a trainer for anyone who is looking for variety in their workouts. She is just so awesome!! I have also been a member of Ruth's Tribe Core Team for a couple of seasons and love it. She is such a great leader and motivator! Overall, the gym is great. Lots of different classes to choose from and the staff are very friendly.

I am specifically writing to appreciate awesome group class trainers this gym have. Really, they have best bunch but some of my favorites are: 1) Heather Groulx : Her Bootcamps are amazing. They are designed to challenge oneself and brings out best in you. 2) Pedro Salazar : Always offers fun, new and challenging workout. Facility in general is pretty nice and up to date. However i hope they open sooner than 6. Going to gym at 6:15ish means either late for work or short workouts. None of which is happy path for me.

I have been a member with Women's fitness for a couple of years now. Last week, was my first week back to the gym since the COVID lockdown and I was a little nervous. The safety measures that have been put in place make me feel safe and comfortable to be back at the gym. The entire staff (cleaning, reception, office) are all doing an amazing job. The cleaning staff are everywhere and reception has been super at answering any questions i had. Also, I decided to start taking to the group classes (which was not something I normally did pre-COVID). All the instructors are fabulous! So glad to be back at Women's Fitness Burlington.

I attend Step Class led by Jackie Ellicott on Tuesday mornings. The class is fast paced with great music, and Jackie makes it so much fun! I always look forward to Jackie’s Step Class, and I often stay for her Hard-Core Abs class immediately afterward. Her Abs class is always a challenge with lots of variety in the exercises.

For any woman who is looking for a safe place, free of judgment to work on fitness and health this is the right place. Staff is friendly, but not invasive and I have never had an issue with another member. Lots of equipment and space to work, that being said during the busy hours it may be more difficult to get what you need. I have witnessed all ages, nationalities, and fitness levels come together at this gym. There are many female personal trainers with exemplary knowledge of kinesiology and health. Getting started was easy and when I went in recently to end my membership it was painless! I am very sad to leave and wouldn't be if it weren't for the fact I am moving in september. If you are looking to get a membership at a gym take this review as a sign, and get yourself a Womens Fitness Club membership!

The gym it’s self is always kept very neat and tidy and they are always looking to make upgrades where ever possible to stay current and enhance the member’s experience. Womens Fitness Club of Canada Burlington is beyond fortunate to have her! I have been taking Pilates from Julie for 12 years plus and she has gotten me in the best shape, inside and out, that I have ever been. That goes physically and mentally! :)

Laura and Natasia made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable joining my fitness journey! They educated me on what I need to do, set goals with me and helped me get started easily. I had no idea what to do at the gym but having Natasia as my trainer has helped me a lot. Even with the gyms being closed, Natasia has set me up for virtual training from the comfort of my own home! Natasia is one of the best trainers and I’m finally on the right track thanks to her. I’d definitely recommend this facility. The instructors are great, however, daytime classes are overcrowded. Anita's yoga class can have from 35 to 48 people, all requests to add another one so everyone can practice in a comfortable and safe way are being ignored. The better the instructor the more overcrowded a class is. It is not safe to begin with! And definitely not enjoyable. There are also issues with ventilation in the studio, no fresh air at all!!! Stinky and unpleasant. Multiple requests to do with about it are ignored. They just smile and do nothing.

Daniele Radoman has been such a help and inspiration to me with my work out. Not only is she a fantastic trainer but she is compassionate, caring and very attentive. I look forward to my workouts with her and always enjoy my time with her. I found it so easy to connect with her, she lets me talk about my day and vent. The workouts are tough but the rewards are amazing. I had my assessment done today and lost double what I expected, I succeeded because Daniele is an amazing and talented trainer. I have been going to this location for about a year and a half since the birth of my child and I love it. The facilities are fantastic, the machines are great and there are enough that they are always available. The staff is lovely and my personal trainer Chelsea is beyond amazing. There are many classes for all different fitness levels, I always find something great to join. I would highly recommend this gym.

I've been going to this gym for about a year now. I wouldn't even give this gym a star. The only reasons are 1) I have to 2) the place is clean. Other then that I have had issues with complaining to the management about things being out of place multiple times I Mean like I've said it for months that the squat rack is not properly aligned / straight and no one fixes it. Every time I have to use the equipment I have to unrack all the weight and pull/push the rack myself well the people who work there watch. It's sad that I used to have such high quality work outs there now it's boring, and I can't wait to leave; time consuming when u have to move things urself that staffing memebers should be doing. Happy to leave the place once my term is up. Sad that my review of this gym went from a 9 to a 0. Wouldn't recommend to a friend. And will not be returning.

Love the entire experience. My trainer, Michelle Langstaff, is incredible. I am in my late 50's, and not in shape. Yet Michelle finds a way to challenge me and encourage me every week. I have seen a significant improvement in my strength and overall fitness level, but I still have a long way to go! I meet with Michelle weekly, but also go twice a week on my own. I love the fact that it is just women, and the members I have met are friendly and helpful. All ages, and all shapes and sizes are welcome. I fully recommend this club!

This gym is amazing! A perfect environment, and the classes are incredible. Pedro's classes are AWESOME. I just wish they had more high intensity, bootcamp-style classes. But this is definitely my favourite gym ever!

Every class Pedro has something new for us to try, Pedro is very creative and he introduces new equipment and new exercises to all the classes. No class is identical to the previous one!!! I have been a member of Women's Fitness Burlington for many years, not only for what it provides for me in fitness, but the staff that reaches out to help in every way. When the Pandemic arrived and so many facilities were temporarily closed, I missed my routine at the gym. Since opening, I have been so pleased with the extreme measures they have taken to keep our gym safe. I feel so comfortable being there and grateful they have been able to open up and serve their members. The maintenance staff are exceptional, cleaning constantly and I thank them each time for caring for all of us. If anyone is hesitating about returning to the gym, I would recommend it highly. We are given spritz bottles with disinfectant that we use on everything that we touch, so very safe. Chris Moskal

It's 6:10 am and your gym is still closed. People are outside the doors and in their cars waiting. This is the case most mornings. This is very frustrating for those of us rushing to get a workout in before work. You're supposed to be open at 6am ready to go. What's going on??

Highly recommend going to this facility. Very clean and extremely friendly staff. I was always afraid of gyms and commitment but after being with Natasha this has definitely changed. Natasha is very inspiring and knowledgeable. Natasha will even email me daily workouts when I am not in the gym. I am happy to be a member of the Women's Fitness Club in Burlington. My trainer, Chelsea Jenish, is awesome. I have struggled with back issues for years as well as having osteoporosis. Since joining the gym and having Chelsea as my trainer, I have never felt better. She develops programs suited for my needs and I can feel my core and posture improving. I was never a gym goer before but now it is part of my life and I love it!!!!!

Very disappointed with this gym. Brought up my issues several times with Management but it seems there’s always one issue or another. 1. Your HOT yoga classes are barely hot. I joined this gym with hot yoga being my priority, it’s been a disappointment. This has been an issue the whole two years I’ve been there. The thermostat is constantly being adjusted as you have core classes in the same studio which understandably requires AC. But when you put a hot yoga class right after. It’s not possible to have the room heated up within a few minutes for a hot yoga class. 2. Your gym is supposed to be open at 6am ready to go. This is often not the case. When your staff shows up at 6am, takes more time to open up and settle in, It’s now 6:10-6:15am and I’ve lost half of my workout time before work. 3. I’ve just received a notification that all classes are cancelled fri sat and Sunday so your staff can attend can fit. This is great for your staff, but at the end of the day, your are a business provider and should not just be shutting down classes like this. One day is bad enough, but three days? I have been working all week, looking forward to weekend so i can attend my classes. It’s the only time I have, like many of us who work during the week and can only come weekends. So take this weekend away and I cannot go to classes for two weeks. Completely unacceptable. You have to find some other solution. I understand your staff training, but it should not come at the expense of your members who are paying and keeping your business alive. I doubt I will stay at this gym much longer. Too many issues.

Created an account just so I could post a review. I'm warning ANYONE who is considering this gym to steer clear of it! I should have seen the warning signs from the start... I was pressured into a membership, I was told more classes are always added and personal training was affordable. Neither of these things are true. Thankfully I signed up on a no-commitment membership, but I had the worst time trying to cancel. Trying to get a hold of someone who was able to cancel my membership was impossible. Then I was told they need 2 weeks notice... well if they answered my call/email 3 weeks ago they would have had plenty of time. Once I was cancelled they still took a payment out of my account. This was refunded only after I went in to complain. The place is dirty... sweat drips on cardio machines, and dirt on the floors. The showers are awful... no pressure, so washing hair is a nightmare. Also, the change room is poorly laid out, it's very hard to enter or leave after a class because you have to walk in two "lanes" not much space when people are in their lockers. Would not recommend, fitforless or goodlife are much better alternatives!

I am in love with my personal training experience with Daniella. I was a bit hesitant at first about how virtual training would work but she has done an amazing job with easing in to a virtual experience and making it work wonders. I am happy that I am not losing time waiting for the club to reopen. Would definitely jump back to in person when it happens but virtual is a great experience.

Spinning classes with Natasha are amazing. We have asked for more classes and then 2 was put in on the same evening! Why not put 2 in on different evenings? 5 stars for Natasha however the organization of the club and classes could certainly be improved. Come on guys I have been a member since day 1 and would hate to go anywhere else.

The Club has been very responsive to the COVID-19 environment, complying with prescribed guidelines to ensure member and staff safety, while providing access to an expanded array of on-line options for members preferring to participate from home. Love Women's Fitness! I have been a member for 4 years and have been nervous about coming back after the COVID lockdown. Recently went back and was very comfortable. They are keeping the place very clean and following all safety protocols, including the cleaning of the equipment after the class. All the staff members are very friendly and so welcoming. Glad to be back! Love the classes!

Thank you to my trainer, Daniela Radoman, for making WFCC Burlington my happy place during the pandemic. I actually find myself looking forward to coming in to the gym for a vigorous workout, something I used to dread. Daniela motivates and challenges me 3x per week to push through some pretty tough workouts. She has been amazing at keeping me challenged with new exercises and movements to work muscles I never knew I had! Moreover, being paired with the right trainer is so important to meeting your fitness and lifestyle goals, so thank you, also, to Laura Dirksen for actively listening to what I wanted to specifically achieve and introducing me to Daniela. If you are seeking a personal trainer who keeps you motivated, challenged, and looking forward to going to the gym rather than dreading it, I highly recommend Daniela. Just completed week 3 of Core Tribe with Ruth, and looking forward to the next 3. Ruth is everything you would want in a team leader and instructor - always pushing and encouraging you, knowledgeable and creates a great atmosphere for the entire team. She is great at giving instructions, and making tweaks to form that help you get the most of the exercise you are doing. Never really spent a lot of time focusing on my core - it is certainly hard work, and there are days when it hurts to laugh because I am engaging muscles I didn't know I had but it is well worth it. My core is stronger and I think I am standing taller! Thanks Ruth! ***************************************************************************************** Love the new class - After Burn taught by Antonette. 30 mins of HARD work, still feeling it 2 days later. Loved that is was short but got a great work out. Would love to see this on the schedule more often, definitely worth the $10. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Have been a member since it opened. Atmosphere is great, everyone from front reception, to trainers and instructors, and other staff are very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Good class selection with lots of variety including spin and hot yoga, lots of cardio equipment and free weights. Have other big name gyms closer to where I live but I happily drive past them everyday on my way to WFC - I love it.

I have been a member of women’s fitness for over 3 years now. Last fall I became prone to a bunch of different injuries and had to stop. I decided that I really needed a trainer to help me if I was to get back in the game. Chelsea Jenish has helped me so much by providing excercises that strengthen my areas around the injury. She has pushed me beyond my comfort zone and believed in me when I didn’t. She is an inspiration with her dedication to her art. She knows how to get the best out of me. I am able to do the awesome classes with such knowledgeable instructors. I go to the gym regularly again now and love every minute of it thanks to Chelsea.

She's built a program catered to my needs and current strength level and always makes sure to push me gently so I'm constantly improving! She's absolutely awesome, is always happy to answer any questions I have or give me suggestions to help improve my eating and exercising habits. When I joined Womens Fitness the building wasn't even ready. My daughter, Hayley, talked me into it because she was joining and I really liked all the different classes that were offered. I had an on and off relationship with the club until Hayley said there was a new thing to try called "Tribe". Well I tried it and loved it. Right now I am in Tribe Core with Ruth as my trainer. It has been amazing! My body has changed; I'm stronger; healthier; and I've made some great friendships. Ruth has been patient yet determined to help us be our best. She is always thinking of us as a Tribe and we have had hikes, lunches, and other group activities. I love my twice weekly workout. I even book my life around them. I've attached a photo of the huge change in my arms. I've never, in my 63 years, had biceps like these! Smiling face with smiling eyes I then tried TRX with Pam, after seeing a free sign up sheet. What a wonderful addition to my routine! Pam's great with her teachings and is always helping us with tips for eating properly and proper form. Plus her music is awesome! I once told her of a dream I had, and I had tried a new "move" in TRX. Well, the next time in class we tried "the move". It was so rewarding and there is a picture attached. I would (and do ) recommend these women as trainers. It's a pleasure to have such fun in working out!

Best move I ever made joining Women's Fitness. I think we have all had not so great experiences that make us hesitant to join a gym. From the front desk, managers, cleaners and instructors all the ladies are top notch. The facilities are modern and bright, with lots of new equipment and classes to choose from. Staff are friendly and always willing to assist in any way they can. Cleanliness and safety are a hug emphasis right now and I can say for sure all staff here excel in keeping us safe. I know that I have no regrets about joining. I would be remis if I didn't point out that there are membership options which are all reasonably priced , a huge plus over other gyms.

I joined women fitness back in May and really love this gym & my trainer Chelsea Jenish. I have joined many gyms and always cancelled but women fitness has a very comfortable enviorment. Chelsea not only pushes me to come regularly but makes my workouts challenging yet fun at the same time. The recent changes to the group fitness schedule have been pretty underwhelming. It appears that effective May 12th all M-F evening muscle mix classes with the exception of one Monday class have been changed to HIIT 45 classes. Since HIIT has been added to the group fitness scheduled I have had the opportunity to try all the different HIIT (strength, cardio, mix) classes offered. Some of them are great and some of them are not. It is literally hit or miss.. One of the easiest changes that could be made pertaining to the HIIT 45 classes would be to make them an hour long. Once you factor: the instructors going over each station, warm up, putting away the equipment and a cool down (which often times doesn’t happen) you need a full hour for a proper execution. With a 45 minute timeslot and going through the above you’re not actually working out for a full 45 minutes. It really works out to be more like a 30 minute class. As someone who enjoys group classes I don’t want to be at the gym for an hour and feel like I only got a 30min workout. I want to capitalize on my time at the gym.. I understand wanting to offer new classes but there needs to be a balance. I am confident many of the members who come in the evening can agree that there needs to be more a variety of classes opposed to only HIIT classes. Many of us do not have the option to attend the morning classes, which doesn’t appear to be effected too much. If you truly love HIIT 45 THAT much perhaps you should consider joining an F45 gym.
