To say that staff morale is poor would be an understatement. Some are merely bored, but a few seem to hate the customers. Some training in people skills would be in order. But then again, it may be that the pay is so low Good Life simply takes who they can get.
I decided to stop by with my wife since I was told that they had a hydromassage machine. Wow, was it worth it. Very relaxing. They also had more and nicer message chairs then the Ancaster GoodLife.
Nicest Goodlife in GTA
My Favorite of all the goodlife fitness clubs I have been to. They have great facilities, all the machines and workout acessories I need. The co-ed area is so big and open, and all the windows really light up the room. The staff is also really great, very helpful. One day I forgot my workout shirt and the guy at the front desk was concerned enough to find me one to wear so I could still get my workout in for the day! They recently added new sets of kettle bells which I greatly appreciate! They now have a much wider range of weight that goes up in smaller increments.
I like the upgrades they have done. The artificial grass area is awesome. Vince was great at explaining the upgrades and the operations of the facility. His enthusiasm in contagious and he knew his stuff. He was genuine and a star employee. They offered lots of classes and the virtual biking was neat! I would recommend this facility to anyone looking to up their workout game and those looking to get serious about their health. Some of the machines were broken and some even had wires showing (which is why I gave 4/5 stars)
Lots of space and different equipment and cool choices for classes I know I don't have the willpower to actually show up to
The facilities are well-maintained and clean. The staff are nice and approachable. Had an awful time trying to arrange a time with a personal trainer. The fitness manager doesn't respond to emails in a timely manner or seem to care about arranging training times. I paid for 6 training sessions and 3 weeks later I still haven't heard back about a time to go.
very clean and well taken care of staff is friendly. 24/7 best gym I have been to.
Signed up last week, and I've been 4 or 5 times now. I agree with other posters that it is a little on the pricy side, but, I think it is worth the price for all the services offered. I pay $49 a month (after taxes, youth rate) for the "ultimate" package. This includes tanning, hydromassage, hot yoga, and of course access to any goodlife club. Now to the reasons I love the place. First, I normally go around 7am, and there is always someone there (yes, this individual may not be super excited to see me, but they always have a smile on their face and are friendly). Second, the place is spotless, I never see anything laying around or dust on equiptment; even the showers are clean (except a few of them don't drain very well so you may be standing in some pool of water). Third, the womens only section is great. It has enough equiptment for my workouts, and is directly connected to the womens change room/womens studio; if you don't want any males to see you, they never will. Fourth, SQUAT RACKS, finally a gym with more than 4 squat racks... you are never waiting for one. And finally, HOURS, have 24/7 access to a gym is very helpful. The club always has staff there so if you want to tan at 3am you can. Oh yeah, the tanning booths are very clean and the hydromassage is amazing after an intense workout.
Been going here for years. Love the place and the options we have to train like virtual classes and equipment. Everything super tidy.
Understaffed. ... Always people waiting to speak to the one motivator at desk.. I have come in at peak weekday and weekend times usually only one person there. Have noticed other associates come out of the offices and see members... But they don't offer to help. Washrooms (women) always dirty with towels everywhere and papertowels. Equipment on the women's only side has been broken since January... Now Feb 27th... ...will say the one guy who seems to be there often is very friendly and helpful..despite being over worked. Parking is terrible on either side of the gym. Great class options and class times. Like that they have equipment behind the counter you can ask for... Kept in good condition.
You pay, but it's next to impossible to book. I'm about to freeze my account again. Unless they stop complying to tyrannical rules.
One of the best GoodLife fitness clubs
Great place and environment!!
So expensive
Got a membership and was convinced I was getting a great deal. 25 dollars every two weeks is NOT a good deal as I've found out a bunch of other gyms were cheaper. Though that was a mistake on my part for not doing enough research. Went there one night to the womans only section and it was quiet which was good but suddenly there was a male worker in the room? It was okay when he was telling us they'll be in the womans change room doing some work but it wasn't okay for him to stick around and flirt with one of the members. It's WOMAN ONLY for a reason. There was a sign on the door informing us about the workers so there was no need for him to stick around for longer than an hour. Constant calls and everything to come to the gym and get into the classes! I get you're trying to get me to make the most of the overpriced membership but let me go when I want to go, not because I'm told too. It got quite annoying to be honest and it made me stop going because I felt uncomfortable and too pressured. Landed up having some financial issues and wasn't able to pay on time and tried to talk to them to have the payment a few days to a week later as my cheque wasn't coming in until then. They WERE going to be paid for sure. They were not understanding at all and I was given a number to a membership line which was impossible to get through since the wait was so long, I would be sitting on the phone for over an hour probably longer to get to talk to someone. I didn't have the time to sit around and wait as I do have a life and a full time job. They took the money out of the account anyways and what I was NEVER informed, not when I signed the contact or before when I told them there wouldn't be money in that account that there was a 25 dollar fee added for bounced cheques. I wasn't informed about this until a week after and 2 days before they went to try to take the money out again. I was going to get the membership transferred but after that, I wouldn't even wish to let anyone give them business. I wouldn't wish these crooks on my worst enemies! They're liars and crooks. They get really outgoing and chatty people to work there to convince you that the place is amazing and how great of a deal you were getting but it's all lies. I decided to stay after the 10 days because I thought I was going to use the gym since at that time I felt comfortable enough to go. After that it just went very downhill and I got to the point that I didn't even want to step foot there and made up every excuse NOT to go. I found out recently there's another gym near me that is VERY cheap. Like less than a quarter of their price with more things available. If anyone is looking for a gym, PLEASE do a lot of research and stay as far away from here. It's not a good place. Oh and to the workers: You may want to encourage your members to actually wipe down the machines they use after they've used them. I didn't see ONE person even touch the spray bottle or wipes to do that during the time I was there.
Lots of classes (more than my friend's club in T.O.). I love the yoga, pilates and body flow group classes. The instructors are great - friendly and knowledgable and ready to help as are all the staff.
Best goodlife i've ever been to. Flat level gym with huge area and full list of equipment.
They're finally true 24hrs. Good facility, lots of space
I love good life fitness *************
BUYER BEWARE. Big cash grab here with atrocious customer service, endless problems with their programs, slick but low quality private training, fronted by drones that do little more than act as Wal-Mart greeters... and a couple total jackasses too. Dude called Mall Security who threatened to have me removed by force and arrested. Why? I was wearing a medically required open shoe, as I had for four months at GoodLife. You can't make that stuff up folks. GM took no responsibility for the incident, sided with the window-licker employee who called Security. The parking is brutal too - give yourself extra time for that. So... If you don't mind the steep price, can manage your own training regime, can work around the machine hogs, can avoid the inevitable problems here, avoid getting arrested... they do have a good selection of gym equipment. My wife joined for the aerobics classes but they keep cancelling and changing them. She showed up for a scheduled aerobics class with 30 others only to find they would be doing Zumba dancing instead. Really? Most people were upset and some left. When I complained I got a jerk who didnt like my attitude, a deer in the headlights and then the GM who likes to say, "Well, it's not Tim's gym". Definitely stay away from the personal training and the fitness start. Personal training is one size fits all mentality. Most of the trainers put more effort into socializing with clients than anything else. It's all tilted so that you have to keep coming back for the low quality personal training. Just say no. But they give you a free gym bag and t-shirt when you sign up.
Best GoodLife I've been to
Great club, wide range of well maintained equipment and classes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best clubs I have been to!
Great clean gym. Very open. Lots of free weights. Plenty of machines. Several class rooms. Only negative is parking lo gets busy as its in a mall.
I enjoy this location being that it’s in the mall and that it’s a 24 hour gym. Good selection of classes especially the Les Mills Pump, Combat, spin classes and the hot yoga which is included in the membership. They also offer virtual classes if you can’t get into a live class. For the hot yoga alone the membership is worth it. I enjoy use of the sauna and massage chairs. There is a good selection of equipment and multiples of the more popular machines. Some of the cardio machines need updating though. This gym is usually clean and the staff is friendly
I work out here. Love the place.
As for quality of machines, quality of space and overall cleanliness this is best gym ive ever seen or attended. I dont know anything about the classes or instructors and as far as employees, there are good and bad ones anywhere you go.
Maintainace of machines is poor. Some machines have not been fixed since months. The fees are too high for this poor quality.
Best Goodlife I've been too. Friendly and great equipment
Been going to this goodlife for about a year and a half. Good gym. Never too busy when I'm there... pretty relaxed.. pretty clean. Parking can be a bit of a gong show sometimes.
Lots of equipment but poorly maintained. Hard to do some exercises due to the state of repair and disarray.
Free parking, clean and friendly staff. I just need to go more often.
Quiet and clean
Great gym, love the atmosphere
Ok club.. like the 24/7 availability..
Lots of the typical cardio stuff but there's a growing quadrant of the floor being consumed by proper strength gear. We now have a grass area for sled pulls and 2 proper platforms. Lots of free weights, barbells, dumbbells, the racks are usually occupied but the weight is short and the patrons are almost all awesome. I've been to many GoodLife locations, this one is the best by far.
Plenty of cardio and weightlifting stations, as well as free weights. Pleasant staff too.
Best GoodLife in the city. Large facilities, big change rooms, lots of equipment, great classes.
the cleaners that work on the equipment are amazing the place is always being cleaned....lots of great equipment
Its good life u can't go wrong. Great space available equipment and the list goes on.
Best Goodlife around
There aren't enough plates. I spend half my time searching out plates for the benches to stock them with the appropriate weight. 4x45 2x35 2x25 2x10 etc... And I have to do that with EVERY bench. Incline, decline, flat EVERY time I visit. The staff is confrontational when I asked them a question on entry. There are two water fountains on opposite ends of the gym and a nice Green space for rope pull, sled push, farmers walk. New gym, lacking experienced customer service, lacking weights.
Best gym in Burlington
Cheap prices but they only care about making money.
This is one of the better Goodlifes I've been to. Lots and lots of equipment, lots of classes, staff very friendly and change rooms are very nice and clean. Showers are decent.
Staff are awesome. Members are awesome. Club is awesome. It’s like one big, awesome family!
I have been coming to this as my main gym for about 7 years now. One of the best gyms I have been to in Canada and I travel a lot for work allowing me to visit different locations!
Before you read full review keep in mind this is from a customer that has been a member off and on for over 8 years. In that long of a period I have only needed help once and I have to say I am very disappointed. One of their employees who had been recently fired was the salesperson to help me sign my contract. This salesperson had told me there was no commitment when in fact there was, and GoodLife said there was nothing they could do since he was not working for them any longer. Instead of contacting him to resolve the issue they continued to charge my account (saying it wasn’t their job to contact the fired employee) until I was forced to pay the cancellation fee on top of the extra $32 bucks bi-weekly fee I was paying, while trying to sort out this issue. In the end they refunded me a total of $16 and charged me $200 total even though I have not been to their gym in over 8 months. Worst customer service from any company that I have ever been a part of. I wish I could give 0 stars.
Staff is friendly and there's lots of equipment. This is a nice gym!! It doesn't seem to ever be crowded!
I went to this gym for a year. The experience I had during that year was pretty good until I decided to sign up for the personal training. This ended up being a very negative experience for me. I got switched to 3 different trainers during my 8 month contract. I was unhappy with all of the changes and could not get comfortable with a trainer. I then asked to cancel the contract and it took them around one month to get back to me after calling them once or twice a week. I had to reach out to head office and things still moved slowly after that. I think this is extremely unprofessional and I am very disappointed with this gym. I am not happy with the training anymore and am already paying $280 a month for sessions that I am not using and they are still postponing and trying to push back the cancellation of the contact. After being switched to three different trainers I also think it’s ridiculous that they are making me pay over $500 to cancel the contract. I then asked if it would cost me to cancel the membership to the gym itself and the fitness manager cancelled the contract without asking further questions to see if that’s that I wanted to do. I was just inquiring to see if there was a cost to it if I decided to.. not at all happy with this gym. Hope you have a better experience if you choose this gym!
Lots of parking lots of space inside the gym huge selection of equipment and there is a turf zone to do sled work on. The staff are really nice and friendly too.
Amazing Gym !
This is the best Gym I have ever been in. And working out for more than 26 years. They have loads of classes. And open concept design with all of the equipment. If you want to join a quality gym join this one.
Awful customer service. Could not reach anyone.
Great place. Lots of equipment and up to date. Been with Goodlife for 20 years.
Absolutely love this goodlife. 24hrs and always clean. Never too busy when I go. Most members are very courteous.
Clean. 2 levels. Nice hot yoga studio. Large gym. Clean floors (no carpeting like other Goodlife gyms that can hold odours). New equipment. Nice stretch area. Nice free weights area. Nice crowd - family friendly. Friendly customer service. Nice clean washrooms. No complaints.
Very expensive, with tons a broken machines and a leaky roof.
Great location and equipment
My problem was finally fixed and the girl on the phone was very kind and helpful. I take back my previous review!
Great gym. Huge space and not very busy. Great social distancing and very clean. My new preferred goodlife.
One of the best in town
Great place, clean ,friendly staff
Got amazing customer service from Brenna who works at Burlington Mall location. She helped explain all the new protocols with Covid, and went out of her way to get us setup and ready to go. Appreciate your help Brenna!
Good customer service representative and services
Always welcome here , great services , and smiles
One of the best locations between Etobicoke and Burlington
Good place to go for exercises
Good life. Nuff said.
Big enough that it doesn't seem that busy, even right after New Years! Also the sauna is amazing
Beautiful Goodlife Very spacious, clean and large changerooms Lots of cardio machines and room for stretching One of the nicest Ontario Goodlife’s I’ve been in :) staff are friendly and gym was clean and tidy!
Signature location. Very clean and great equipment with turf field. Men’s sauna could be better.
I'm happy with it. Its 24 hours Mon - Thurs (I think), Fri til 11, weekends a bit earlier. And there's a mall downstairs which is always nice. I find the class timings are inconvenient for me (I think there's nothing after 7) but otherwise its good. One of the complaints I'd have is the squat racks are far too close to each other, when the bars are on they're less than 6 inches apart.
Love going here! There's such a sense of community between the members.
Great gym
Love the women's only section of this club. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
One of the better goodlifes around.
Such a good gym, the women’s section could have a few more options for barbells and functions for the cables but overall is great
Just what I was looking for: inexpensive and has hot yoga
Hot yoga is always a challenge but very rewarding. Lots of space in the change room and the gym oberall. Never had a problem with the group fitness classes.
Favourite GoodLife to train at! The gym is bright and clean which is very nice. They have a great turf area to train on. Staff is also amazing and always so helpful!!!
Change room upgrades look great
Always great to workout here compared to other gta locations Staff is amazing
truly a fairly equipped place, a quiet environment, friendly people and professional team
Too many rude staff especially the manager. I don't expect to be snapped at especially when it's an error with their system. Machines take forever to be repaired and honestly once my one year was up I moved to another gym. After 3 emails and 4 phone calls they were still debiting my account. Pro tip: when you leave and have given the requisite notice, put a stop payment on the withdrawal.
The best Goodlife location- HUGE workout area and there's a women's section!
Great equipment variety, they have some hammer strength machines that most of the Goodlifes don't have, I think it's because it used to be an extreme fitness. I drive 40mins to workout there sometimes lol
Unfortunately there is no option for a "0" star rating, as that is what I would use. Textbook definition of a greedy company. Only care about making $$$. Personal training is terribly overpriced and unreasonable. Training quality is poor and very mainstream, I would recommend just watching YouTube videos or follow a fitness Instagram account for guidance. This particular location, only chooses to hire and keep individuals employed who are good at making sales over individuals who are professionals in the industry. They would rather have a sales person training you then someone who has experience training professional athletes and a high education in the field. In order to work at this location you must get clients entirely on your own by walking around the gym and interrupting customers gym sessions. Goodlife clearly puts taking your money first rather then caring about your health and fitness journey which they put in their marketing campaigns (false advertising). Would you as a customer rather be trained by a sales person or a personal trainer? I'll leave you to answer that question on your own. Very questionable management here at GoodLife Fitness Burlington Centre. A current client who is being trained at this location by an individual on the management team had expressed her personal training is below par and has put some serious thought into asking to switch trainers if it is possible. She thought going with a manager would give her a better quality and standard or training, but that has proven to be far from the truth. Quite frankly.... embarrassing. If you are looking to join a gym and start or continue with your fitness journey I would look elsewhere. I would consider a gym that genuinely cares about your fitness goals and your success, and not just look at you as a number or another commission payment. Keep your HARD EARNED money in your pocket or invest in a gym who CARES.... not this shameful company and location.
Pretty good gym. Wish there were more amenities though.
This gym falls short of being great due to the lack of upkeep on the equipment. There is not a day that goes by where several pieces of equipment not working for weeks at a time.
I’ve been a GoodLife member for almost 5 years and this gym is literally my therapy and my home! I come to gym almost 3-4 times a week and I’m always happy and excited about being there. The staff are ALWAYS super friendly to me and I never had ANY issues at all with this club... NEVER! :) I’ve also took some hot yoga classes before and the yoga instructors were AMAZING as well!! But really though, there is not even ONE thing I didn’t like about GoodLife! :) Having a membership at GoodLife is totally WORTH the money to pay for!
Friendly staff and great atmosphere
I am working in Toronto and every week I am missing a couple workouts because their schedule is set to folks working in the area.
I like this Gym. I usually go at noon so it's not too crowded. I have never seen a dirty change room or people not wiping equipment - calling it like I see it. Always get a locker and always get a station. Having said that, this gym would do well with a heavy bag. I have suggested this to the gentleman at the reception who told me he's taken it up with the management. It's been awhile and I don't see what the hold up is. A heavy bag is hardly an investment for the turnover you guys have and is fantastic cardio for those who hate treadmills and the ilk. Contact me, I would love to chat with you. :)
Standard fitness location sometimes their showers water is cold. I still go because it's affordable and open 24/7
it’s great to be back working out but the group fitness needs a HUGE change. Virtual pump has 6 offerings - SIX!!! I was sick of all of them by the end of July. Oakville Place needs to bring in real live instructors. The Group Fitness classes needs some organization and attention. Thank goodness for Burlington Centre because I would have cancelled my membership. I go to 4 GL in Oakville and Burlington and Burlington Centre is a 10. Close down Oakville South, the staff is rude and unfriendly. That’s why no one goes. I’ve stopped going because of that. Bring back Combat and Step, please!
Nice modern change room. Lots of shower stalls available. Lots of equipment and green turf.
i used to go there for pilates three times a week. there was a really great instructor who they let go because she also taught classes elsewhere. couldn't believe they would fire somebody for being good at what they do.
Excellent service and clean gym - sign up with ILKAY, she is working with Boog and will take great care of you! Tell Becca, Cory and Matt that Tony says 'hi', join the community, get in shape with friendly people that will do everything to see you do well! Ya won't regret it!
Never sign anything there.. This location will trick you with contract. Their personal trainer lies that its not a contract, only Pay as you go. You will get stuck in long and expensive contract. Dont trust their trainers and even the Manager.
Best equipped gym I have ever been to. It's huge. Clean and friendly staff.
machines always broken. Too hard to stop them from charging you when you want to leave.
This club is the most awesome community centre for workouts that you can find anywhere. Family atmosphere, friendly, supportive staff and patrons kudos
Staff are super friendly and welcoming. The gym is clean, well taken care of, and I love that they have a women's section that's actually a good size. Lots of great classes, and hot yoga. You get what you pay for when it comes to gyms, and I would recommend Goodlife over the rest for sure.
Large goodlife. Good quality of equipment and size never makes it feel crowded.
good equipment but extremely poor management, that is why this location lost many members when another chain opened up. The fees at goodlife are way to high, and you can not bring a guest without paying for them to try the place out. That is why I left and took by business elsewhere.
Great club, friendly staff, clean facility, love their classes.
I returned to GoodLife right when it reopened. They have done an incredible job ensuring members are safe. I’m so glad to be back enjoying group fitness again!
Great experience at this GoodLife! Friendly helpful staff who care about their members. Definitely recommend the personal training starter packs!
Awesome staff members especially during post-covid re-opening! Always out cleaning, answering questions and keeping members as informed as they possibly can. Shout out to the trainers who've adapted to safe training procedures and continue to share the knowledge in club and online (online classes and training!) Always a pleasure coming in to workout, great energy and sweet workout equipment. Keep it up!
Very big gym. Great selection of weights. Hammer strength and Free weights. Better than other gyms I go to. Most weight lifters are respectful . A clean and friendly environment. 5 stars with addition of a plate loaded Shoulder press machine (hammer strength). Thanks ???? . Or the plate loaded hammer press… Best Trainer - Michael - I dropped 30 lbs. with Michaels tips and techniques. Put in the work and I can guarantee results. Don’t hesitate, it’s worth every $
This gym is clean and 24 hours. I work out in the women's section which is a bit small but still works for me. There's still a lot of options for weights in the women's section which I appreciate.
The most welcoming gym I have ever been to. Staff are helpful and friendly, trainers don’t hog the equipment, and it’s a good layout.
The front desk is always there to assist in any way, especially with the Covid passport. Lots of classes, and Newbody is being added. Well done Goodlife Burlington Centre.
Very clean, Easily the nicest GoodLife around
I have had good and bad experiences here. Good facility, sometimes understaffed. Personal trainer is a little too expensive. But overall a 4 star gym. Pretty good.
The problem is with the head office. Before I joined I was warned that I shouldn't give them my banking info and I wish I had listened. At some point I was no longer eligible for my corporate membership and they didn't tell me before starting to charge me a higher rate. I did't notice for months. When I called asking about the rate change they said they didn't notify me because they are paperless and didn't have my email -- which I found to be funny because their marketing emails come through easily enough. They admitted that they would have informed me if had my email. So why couldn't they send a letter or pick up a phone?
I have been a member for 30years. I am addicted to the gym.
they discriminate against teens
I like their classes but I agree with some reviews that this place can be more expensive that some places. While some staff are nice, there are also some rude ones too. Last time I was there, I wanted to ask about my membership payment. The girl who I spoke to seemed to be irriated, its like I she had more important things to do than help me. If I can only talk to somebody else I wouldn't bother her, taking too much of her precious time. Calling their hotline is not so Good either. You have to wait on hold for hours and hours on end. I have heard nightmare stories about Goodlife membership. It is all true. Do your research before signing up for this place. Think very very hard.
This is one of the best goodlifes that I have been to other then Heartland.
So I wanted to make a review for a Personal Trainer I met because she deserves a big shout out. My boyfriend and I came in for a starter session which was offered to us at no charge when we signed up. I met Lexi and my partner went off with his trainer. She did the standard paperwork which is targeting what I want out of the gym, but right away I noticed she wrote down EVERYTHING I was saying because she knew it was important to me. She seemed to also know I wanted a lot out of this first meeting. She gave me everything I asked for and more. She must have showed me 15 or more exercises to try, a bunch of stretches, taught me about activator movements, tested my flexibility, answered every question I had about form and movements, gave me a schedule to follow, and a ton more. She even gave me tips for reps and sets and the same for my partner despite him having other goals so we could continue to workout together as much as we wanted to. Fast forward to today, I've done 2 workouts with her guidelines as have my partner, our muscles are GASSED we felt the best we ever have in the workout and are pumped about this new schedule. When the time comes that I can afford a PT its going to be Lexi, and if you're looking for one go to her. She genuinely cares and is fantastic!
Love this location. We drive from Stoney Creek to go there.
Probably my favorite Goodlife in the GTA. Great selection of equipment and the women's only section is awesome.
Beyond frustrating that a lot of their equipment doesn't work especially the audio on most eliptical/treadmills etc are just horrible and if something needs to be repaired it takes months before it's fixed.
I haven’t been to a GoodLife yet and I really liked the vibe and it was really clean!
Much larger than the others
One of the biggest goodlifes ive been too. Sure beats the liberty village one.
Lots of machinery and options. However staff are clearly on commission to sell memberships because after you get one they are very unhelpful. Not 24/7.
I have been going here for about 15 years now and my biggest frustration for the past 3 years are the members and trainers using 2 machines or 2 benches at a time. After I spoke with other members about this I found that this is a huge problem. There needs to be signs up, just because you put your water bottle or leave your phone (or towel) on the machine doesn't mean you own it for the whole hour your there. Let people work in, be courteous,, and don't be so selfish and self centered. One machine at a time please! Maybe the management could resolve this some how?
I dont usually write reviews but 2 stars not because of the fitness club itself but because of the members. During peak times there are way too much juice guys laying on machines with there sweat all over and they dont bother to clean it after. The change room is usually taken up by a bunch of kids taking pictures of themselves posing and their friends all the time. Machines are usually taken for prolong periods of time because girls here have to get take multiple pictures and selfies. The only time I can go here is during peak times due to work and even my wife hates it. The younger members comes here to take pictures on their phones and not to workout. I just left the gym here early morning and none of those young members are here, only if it can be like this all the time. Company needs to have a no cell phone picture taking policy in on the club floor.
This gym is excellent. Staff are helpful, instructors are great, variety of classes is extensive, facility is extremely clean. Hot Yoga has excellent instructors and is quite a savings vs belonging to a Hot Yoga studio as I have for many years prior.
Lots of open space, hot yoga (infrared) room. Gets a bit busy after 5 on weekdays but otherwise great
Amazing and friendly staff!
Beautiful club, clean, lots of classes and amenities. Nice hot yoga studio. Never have had a problem with staff as other reviewers have mentioned. The last review I read complaining about everyone members and staff alike....what's the common denominator here buddy?? Might be you! I agree that a lot of the members look high maintenance esp. the girls but doesn't make a difference to my workout or experience.
Time of fitness classes are too fixed.
This is my favorite GoodLife by far, aside from parking this location is the best equipped one I've been to in the area and the staff is always very helpful.
Been going to this gym since 2001..... Still a great place workout.... Has multiple of same equipment so no need to weight on one being used
Good barbershop
Great location, open 24hrs, incredibly friendly staff and a gym with everything u need!!! Goodlife Fitness will always be my fav spot!!
Great atmosphere, very clean!
Great gym period!
Ghetto the max. I’ve been a member for 7+ years. This evening I went in to take the freeze off my membership and fully cancel as I have found a gym that more suits my needs. The low class girl at front desk seem bothered when I asked to use the ladies room while she processed my file. Not allowing me entry I politely asked again.. At this point she mumbled requesting my vaccination papers, there is a and place to follow suit with rules and regulations and this simply was not one of those times. Good life please retrain your staff. Front desk is the face of your gym, and trust when I say that krista is not who you want to represent. I would never recommend or suggest this gym to anyone solely based on my experience and your employees etiquette, members pay your salary.
I had to cancel my membership due to personal reasons, and I expected to receive the same level of service that's given to other members. However, I was treated very poorly by the staff member (an old blonde lady named Nadine) She spoke to me very rudely and was unpleasant throughout the whole interaction. All customers should be treated with respect even the one's that are leaving. It's better to have a customer leave on good terms so they're more likely to return to your facilities in the future. There was a possibility that I would come back to GoodLife, but after the way I was treated today I doubt I will ever return as a customer.
Wonderful place to workout, friendly environment!!
Loving this club. I love the womena specific section. Showers are clean. Lots of classes modern equipmebt. It's very equipped. Hot ypga studio is top notch and great teachers. Love the sauna after a workout. Towels are handy and plentiful well attended so good energy. Of you go in feeling tired the energy of the place gets you moving.love the hydro massage table. Great staff. Handy as in the mall so I can go to Dennigers for hot healthy food after.
My Favourite GoodLife
Awesome gym!! It's huge and there is tons of equipment. The best part is it is well maintained and super CLEAN!
I am so impressed with the GoodLife Gym in the Burlington Centre. Although the gym has always maintained high standards regarding hygiene, general maintenance and professionalism, they have surpassed my expectations for the Covid 19 protocol. The numbers are kept low enough to ensure proper spacing and both members and the staff are continually meticulously cleaning the equipment. All of the GoodLife gyms should take their cue from the Burlington Centre facility! Thank you!
Best chain - gym in burlington. Clean, well maintained, excellent equipment and fair rates.
Fantastic gym! Lots of options.
Huge, clean and good equipment and classes
Great facility, with happy helpful staff and enough equipment to handle the busy times.
Of all the good lifes in go to ... This one is my favorite.. Clean, friendly, never seems crowded and the hydra massage table ... Can't be beat. I tell everyone.
This is one of the better GoodLife gyms. Very up-to-date equipment. Well maintained. Lots of space so the equipment and people are not jammed in. Dedicated women's section.
What a gym! This gym has lots of classes, a good variety of equipment and is family friendly. The facility itself is spacious and clean. It's pretty much the nicest gym I've been to. The biggest downside is parking. There simply aren't enough spaces for the mall and the gym. Otherwise I would recommend the GoodLife on Fairview Street to anyone who needs a gym.
Great trainers
Best gym I've ever been to. It's very big and has repeats of equipment so you hardly ever have to wait for a machine during busy times. It's very spacious. The women's only section is a plus too. I enjoy the fitness classes as well but make sure to get there early as they often fill up.
coming to Burlington center since Hot Yoga classes launched after COVID- I have to say that Leanne's class is going to keep me coming back for a long time - what a beautiful facility!
I have experienced the best customer service at Goodlife Burlington Centre. I was having a real problem signing up on the website for a Corporate membership. I tried every avenue possible until reaching out to the assistant general manager, Krista. Krista was amazing! She solved my problem from start to finish -- from contacting the Corporate liaison, to giving me her phone number to stay in touch, to offering me access to the club until the problem was solved. She was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to help me with the issue. I would definitely recommend this club to anyone looking to begin a fitness journey. The staff and trainers have been nothing but supportive, encouraging and helpful. Krista & Jennifer W. (trainer) are absolutely wonderful and they have made me feel so welcome to the Club. Thank you again!
Great place to work out. Bigger location than usual. Lots of room to work out. Ample space between machines. Great selection of free weights and work out equipment. They now offer free towels at the front desk which is nice. This location is on the second floor of the Burlington mall.
my favourite gym out of all the good life’s I have been too. A lot of cardio machines and always greeted very nicely when I come in and always told to have a nice day walking out ! Love how clean this gym always is! Best one I’ve been to hands down.
Recently renovated - this place is now awesome.
????????
Rated against other goodlifes as someone who travels for work in the GTA. Pros: Equipment variety and number. Formatting/equipment location. Not entirely open concept, there is some privacy. VERY good member etiquette for a goodlife of this size...minus...one thing. Cons: I have to mention that my credit card got stolen at this goodlife. I shower quickly (60 seconds or less at a goodlife, just to rinse off sweat and shower properly at home) and in that time, someone ripped off my lock, took my credit card from my wallet, put my lock back together and left the area. Granted, I just had some real bad luck and the employees that helped me with this issue were very good about it. I can't fail to mention this because security concerns knocks this goodlife down from 5* for me. Equipment quality is just okay.
Great gym with lots of equipment and a great selection of classes. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the change rooms and gym floor are always clean and well organized.
This goodlife is nice big cardio area. Lots TVs and more machines than most goodlife it is larger and cleaner than the other clubs in the area. on weekends it's not too busy. Lots of parking
Very good coach and good staff a the réception always helpfull, and the Coach are so good that i recommande then To people around me To come and enjoys the RPM & body pump class
Nice place to work out with lots a great exercise machines and free weights. If I had one complaint the cellphone rules have to be enforced more. There are way too many people not respecting others rights to workout by texting and hogging machines.
