Very disappointed with the customer service. The owner doesn’t even acknowledge you when you come in or leave....can’t be bothered to look up from her phone. I had issues when I used the daycare with one of the helpers putting her finger in my infant daughters mouth instead of using her soother. I had to hold off on going since I wasn’t comfortable bringing my children. Lastly, I did not like the fact that there is no privacy in the change rooms or showers. Regardless of the fact that it is a women’s only gym, you should be able to change in private. The recent ownership change has been a negative change to this gym which I went to for over 15 years.

The Fitness Centre is CLOSED for maintenance and repairs. They have NOT returned my call regarding my concerns of continuing to take out payments for services not rendered. NOT good customer service.

Love this place! Great variety of classes and fantastic instructors. Very welcoming, and my kids love playing in the play center while I work out. Highly recommend

Love this place! I loved my spinning classes and the flexibility with hours to go. Bring a friend with me and she loved the playing center for her little girl. Totally recommended.

You are absolutely correct- the service is terrible there- even on Facebook. The first Facebook post of the gym's closure was by a member- NOT the owner. This facility was closed for a month because of a flood. Members asked for pictures, and they have not been posted yet because the owner ignored those requests. Do not feel like you are the only one who is unhappy with the service, Caroann. The service is just as lousy on Facebook, except on Facebook it is easier to be ignored. The Fitness Centre lost a lot of member in December because of the bad service. Most of us went to Crunch and have been very happy with the service there. It is cheaper and the management actually acts like you are welcome. At Crunch, you feel like a valued member by the management. I can honestly say I have never felt that way at the Fitness Centre.

Great place. Friendly staff. I like how there are short and long membership options and frequent sales. No pressure to sign up for a year! It's never been busy in the weight room when I've gone. Could maybe use a couple more pieces of equipment, although you can get the job done with what they have. I'll be returning sometime after this pregnancy. :)

I love this place... It's friendly, open and comfortable. The members are very helpful when it comes to giving advice on what, how, and where to do things and who to ask for help... The owner is very nice. She is always available to offer any advice to anyone - 90% of her time (when she is not teaching classes or personal training) As per a previous comment I read - To that person - Wow first of all because you never use your phone; the owner is on her phone probably dealing with some sort of issue and you have no idea what she is doing and my guess is that she has said hi to you and you don't respond back to her - because she didn't look up!! Do you ever say hi to her first (my guess is no). Has she ever offered you free advice? my guess is probably at one time or another, she does to everyone when they ask - (from my experience) The privacy in the changing room has never changed since the ownership change.. it was like that 4,5,6 etc. years ago just like it is now. I think you're the one with the problem and taking it out on the owner and the club.... I personally think the club is better than ever. My opinion is that bitter people don't go far. (don't take it out on others) The Fitness Centre ladies club is a great place to be for women who want to be in a place where the can feel like they belong. As I said - This is my greatest opinion and I don't like people saying bad things just because they want to say bad things to make themselves feel better.
