It's a good life at GoodLife! I have been working out in Brandon on and off (unfortunately some off time, but I'm back!!) In Brandon for 30 years. By far this is the best gym I have worked out in and been a member of. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The classes are so much fun, cardio & weight machines are readily available in varying times of the day, the sauna always hot and the convenience of the showers is wonderful. A very welcoming atmosphere. My membership began July of 2017 and I haven't looked back, and plan on many more years to come.

Went in for a one week trial and felt quite pressured to buy a membership. The facility looks lovely and has a lot to offer! Unfortunately, the way selling memberships was approached was slightly off-putting.

PLEASE ban the guy who does not wear his mask! He comes to the gym 7:30-830 most week days and does not wear his mask over his nose. It is not fair to the staff who works nights to have to deal with him. It’s not fair to members. I have seen staff talk to him and he does not change. He needs to be banned.

Lots of equipment, often busy. After a few weeks at the establishment, I met with one of the managers with some feedback and offered suggestions. They fell on deaf ears. If they didn't have 24/7 access, I would have already revoked my membership, cancellation fees be damned.

My good friend is a member at GoodLife. She suffers with medical conditions and asked me to come help her and to make sure she doesn't hurt herself during her workout. She also suffers with extreme anxiety and wanted someone she is comfortable with to just accompany her. This was explained to the manager multiple times. I called the manager asking to come in and be with her this ONE time to help her as she feels comfortable with me. I assured them I'm not a trainer just a friend with gym experience. The manager refused to let me in unless I got a membership or a drop in fee which is $15. When I was a memeber at anytime fitness, they let my husband come in with me. I had an injury and they said it was not a problem at all. If you want to join a gym with staff who care for your well-being, DO NOT join this gym. The manager was rude, dissmissive and unreasonable. He said they have trained staff, which was irrelevant to her situation. Clearly hes is not well educated in mental health. They do not care for the well being of their memebers and just want to make money.

Do yourself a huge favor and deal only with the in-store staff. Corporate office will not care at all about you and treat you like you don't matter. Local staff get 5 stars for resolving my cancellation issues.

While the staff are friendly and nice and the gym is decent there are some serious issues with the gym. One of the biggest reason i strongly recommend you go elsewhere is how Good Life lies to you to attract into business and take your money while stifling what they offer you. They wont tell you upon signing a year long contract (that costs $150 to cancel) That they shut off the water in the showers at a certain time, so if you go to the gym Friday night, or really anytime in the night, you cant have a shower. Not to mention, you cant use the sauna, nor can you use the massage chairs. I am not sure about you, but when i pay a flat monthly fee for a 24 hour gym with all the amenities, but then get ripped off from being able to use what i am paying for, it doesnt sit well with me, and neither should it you. Now i have tried talking to numerous staff, all of them give excuses as to why its not available during certain times despite it not making any logical sense. Above that i have spoken with their member support team only via email, since if you try and call, they will hang up on you, and never call you back like their automated system tells you they will. In total i have made 10 attempts at communicating my dissatisfaction and for the most part i have been getting ignored. So effective asap i am cancelling my membership, and going to Peak Fitness in Brandon. Its a shame such a good gym is ruined by greed and corporate policy.

Really great gym, terrific atmosphere. 5 squat racks, 5 bench racks, and plenty of dumbbells and equipment to use. No need to wait. Prices are fair, but the one year commitment does sting a bit. Still, top quality facility with great staff. Edit: No more one year commitment. Even better!

Unfortunately they do worry about sales more than the actual customer they already have. It is becoming too busy with people not using the equipment properly - the waits between squats (that many use for arm day) and other equipment - is long and you cool down too quickly.

Their 1 800 number is a joke. Overall the local Brandon gym is pretty decent, however I purchased the ultimate pass because I was told one of the benefits was that I could access gyms in the States. The first time I tried to use this feature, the 24 hour fitness was unaware of this partnership and I was given a week first time guest pass, the remaining week I had to use the hotel gym. When dealing with the customer service line regarding this issue, I was told there was nothing they could do about it and was given some bs about this feature not being part of my membership but an "accessory". Then i emailed a complaint to member services and got more bs regurgitating this. It's almost as if their service department is there to service themselves and not the members of their club! Why am I paying for the ultimate pass when the first time I try to use it I'm denied??

The best gym in Brandon by far. The staff Are always so nice and energetic and always say hi and chat when I come in. There’s so much space and I really feel comfortable working out here. Couldn’t say one bad thing about it!

I joined the Health club and all staff are very helpful. It's clean and very well taken care of. There are numerous classes to attend and lots of machines to help you with your goals.

One of the best gyms I've joined ! Large, spacious and friendly atmosphere for both beginners and advanced gym goers :) My only suggestion to the club would be less bleach for cleaning in the bathrooms. I had to leave a workout early cause my eyes/nose were burning so much from the change room (Although I went in as they were cleaning so it was strong).

The simple facts when they are mandating masks, when they are proven to lower the oxygen concentration at your face. They are not conducive to health. GoodLife and their anti health policy is disgusting. Shame on you GoodLife.

Beautiful new equipment but...Never enough parking. Always fighting over equipment, don't even bother going during peak hours. They will put you on a month to month contract without telling you, then advise you that you still require 30 days notice to cancel after your 1-year contract. There's no loyalty to their customers here.

make you use direct deposit to have a membership. keep changing how much money a membership costs every month, ive already had to go to my bank for wrong charges including charging me 3 times in a weekend causing nsf charges. so ive had to keep going to the bank. there are literally 5 other gyms in brandon that are the same price.

The staff here have been amazing since I joined. They don't charge me when lockdowns happen as a result of covid and over all I really look forward to coming in. Most of the regular staff have taken the time to learn my name and great me. I have not had an experience better than this location and I've been to alot of gyms. By far the best goodlife I've been too and I had lived in other provinces.

My experience and my 2 sons have had nothing but bad experiences when it comes to the banking and registration part. The facility is great, the young ladies who work there are very polite and professional . There is a few gentleman who are excellent when it comes to dealing with people and explaining information. There is a however, a lot of miscommunication when it comes to management decisions. Very confusing and no one seems to be on the same page. Good luck in the future. As for me I am out of here. Moving to a less confusing facility.

The gym is fine. Clean. Meets high standards. I had an issue and Richelle Birch took it upon herself to follow up and follow through and resolved what could have been a big issue for me. 5 stars for her alone, and 4 for the facility.

Best gym in Brandon hands down! Very spacious gym in a great location, good selection of equipment, nice spacious changing rooms, very friendly staff. The only downside I can think of is parking is not the greatest and sometimes you have to park far away if you go at a busier time.
