This is by far the best gym I’ve ever been to! Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly; gyms can be such intimidating environments for people, but they foster an environment that welcomes any and everyone. The facility itself is the cleanest I’ve seen from any gym thanks to the wonderful custodial staff. The equipment and machines are top notch, high quality equipment you wouldn’t find anywhere else! And the classes (group exercise and small group training), are unique with awesome instructors and trainers! Cannot wait for COVID-19 to pass so that everyone can head back and get back to working on their health and fitness at the finest facility in Peel Region!

Nice gym if you are looking for something better than goto goodlife. This gym quite big however, half of the gym is reserved for women, which is a big let down for me. This doesn't just give a third world country feel, they could have added more equipments and bigger pools and courts squash, basketball, or sports by making one big uni-sex gym.

While the equipment is in good shape and the facility is new, the staff has no customer service skills at all. Everytime you have a concern, no one is there to acknowledge or do anything about it. The membership fees are those of a high end club so one would expect a better treatment. Classes are empty yet they won't let you in if you are a minute late. They would rather have an unsatisfied member than try to keep you motivated to workout. If you are not concerned with quality of service you would be better of with a cheaper gym. However if you are looking for a high end gym the you would be better off somewhere elsewhere

Gym is clean. Staff are very nice. Hayley is the best! I always ask for extra protein and she doesn't throw out the extra smoothie like most others do. To be fair to the rest, I'm sure if you'd ask they'd give you what you're paying for, but with her, she gets it, and doesn't need to be reminded. As far as covid19 protocol goes, they have a good setup and rules but not everyone follows them. Wish staff came around more often to ensure people were in compliance. Yoga classes are amazing. I haven't tried any others but heard they are great too. Women's area is pretty good too. Doesnt have all the equipment as the co-ed one but it's well equipped.

Very upset with the way they will treat you after you can no longer commit. Before reopening of this year I had called and requested my membership to be canceled. (I wanted to make sure they canceled it before reopening) I was going through a very rough time and had no idea they were still charging my account. Unfortunately all my emails prior to Sept 2021 had been deleted and they had lost my request to cancel, I was charged a good 4months. They can see that I haven't been using the facility in 2021 but didn't care at all. They have absolutely no compassion when it comes to their past members.

This place is a huge disappointment! Stay away from being cheated. I just came over their Mississauga location, with a packed gym bag, to start the “exclusive” 10-day trial emailed to me by their customer manager. Front desk told me my name has been in the system already and had been given a 3-day trial before. And this email offer is only for first timer. Let me clarify: Yes, I dropped by your location before through a door ad and I filled a form at the front desk (that’s how you could have my email to send me this 10-day trial), then was given a tour by a lady and she never mentioned anything about the 3-day trial. If this 10-day trial is only for FIRST TIMER ONLY, why don’t you check your system before sending it to me? Everything is messed up and my time was wasted. Check other posts about this gym (Bank account info required) and be mindful before signing anything. If they could fool you around in small things like a free trial, they could burn your wallet in big things without any hesitation. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE!

eucalyptus scent is missing in steam room multiple people I know have complained including me and nothing is being done about it. The facility itself is great otherwise tons of new equipment and I love how everything is split into different sections/areas. The upkeep however could be a potential issue but it's too early to tell will edit this review as time goes on to reflect my thoughts about this facility. Edit Feb 24 2020 Steam room now seems to be scented like it should be see how long this lasts I've moved my initial rating of two starts to three. Gym is still well maintained with staff regularly cleaning the facility and equipment.

Everyday getting worst in here staff is horrible. Some guy holding up the wall name Derek asked me to put my bag in my locker again for the third time in three weeks everyone on the floor including staff have cameras and bags all over the floor not to mention there's no cameras allowed in almost any gym but they didn't want to address the tripod in the middle of the room just me and my bag that was against the wall. when I complained about the tripod after he told me to my face with a smerk "it's not my job to deal with your complaints" the staff here needs to change no point on having this beautiful establishment with all this negativity coming from staff towards members over a bag nobody even complained about especially after head office said it's never been heard of in there policy. The business behind this place is broken head office saying one thing each club saying something else SMH it's uncomfortable and disappointing environment

Ok so it's been three days and I love this place what I don't love is getting approached twice in 20 min about my bag with me on the floor the first time Mr.Nandi was informative and understanding the second time I was told by a man who said he was a "vet" that it was for theft and safety. I said "safety" he said yes we worried about ppl stealing and carrying guns ???? my jaw hit the floor then I asked why would you make me feel like that why are you worried about ppl bringing in guns what kind of establishment are you running in the end I definitely was being profiled cause of my appearance. On top of that right in the middle of my pump. #dobetter

I am very fortunate to have Kasia K. as my yoga instructor, both in person and now digitally through Movati @ home. Kasia’s online sessions are superbly done: good clear sound with well-balanced volume between her music and her audio, well positioned video so the poses can be seen clearly, and good lighting. Kasia has a calm and soothing voice, gives clear instructions with options for different levels, and makes everyone feels welcome. I can’t wait until the day I can give her a hug in person to thank her. Everyone please do your part to stop the spread so we can see each other again soon.

Beautiful and large facility, modern equipment, exceptionally clean at all times. The yoga studios are just lovely. I'm so at peace while I work out and enjoy the showers/steam room/sauna and women's area so much!! Instructors offer a diverse range of skills and personalities but all are experts in what they do! Cannot say enough positive things about this little slice of heaven in Mississauga!

Great club with a lot of space and equipment. A lot of sanitizing stations around to access and use. The classes provided have good instructors and great environment. I can specifically talk to the hot yoga classes and the spin classes. Trainers are pretty dialed in, haven't had any personal experience with them but from what I've observed since joining, there's two specifically, I will get their names once I figure it out, but there's two that are passionate and into their clients. Their professionalism has me intrigued to purchasing some sessions to see how and if they can help. The club changerooms are clean for the men's side with sauna, steamroom and pool access direct. There's a separate area for more I guess sports specific training, and there's a women's only section. I hate that I got to write this review because I rather keep this a hidden gem so it doesn't become popular but credit is gotta be given where credit is due.

Worth the price They have everything, nothing spared. 1) The women's gym is really big I appreciate and they have every equipment (rollers, barbell pads, and accessories for the cable machines). So you can show up and not have to bring your own. Kettlebells and other equipment are accessible to everyone without paying "personal trainer fitness". 2) state of the art equipment: the latest stationary bikes (equivalent to a Pelton bike) and they equipment not usually found (dual action bike). They have the hip thrust machine. 3) They have steam room and saunas. They 2 different types of shower heads def luxurious. Thru have a pool table. 4) Fuel training room offers equipment not usually found in conventional gyms I haven't been to Lifetime but I have been a member of LA Fitness and One Health. 5) Great gym hours they're open until 12am mon-fri and until 8pm on the weekends. I hope they keep these hours. It's hard time a gym like this with flexibility. It's definitely in between ( LA fitness and one health in terms of pricing but far exceeds with the equipment availability and amenities. I hope they maintain the equipment and they'll continue to have good reviews. I was going to check them out in Burlington and im grateful they opened one up in Mississauga.

She gave me a detailed walkthrough of all the different features & benefits of Movati. She was extremely helpful and knowledgable and clarified all my questions. Seems like it will be a nice place however: multiple charges that aren't all disclosed upfront. Misleading information and combative salesmanship at least on the part of at least one of their salesstaff (notably Morgan). Who also failed to follow through with promised information by email after the visit. Fortunately, Kyle corrected some of her "errors and omissions" when I called to confirm some facts. **** So the response I received from Movati: Fails to address adequately my concerns. A) In particular the professionalism of their staff and B)Having been to many gyms I find your gender inequality answer inaccurate and inappropriate in Canada. C) Finally, I agree with Marcia those 5 star ratings for a club that has yet to open are very suspect.

One of the ways I can thank Movati and the people who make this club so good is sharing my experience. Yesterday, November 14, 2020 at noon I joined Movati Mississauga's class via Zoom (At home) and it was awesome! Why? Because of of excellent instructors like Kasia K. She had setup perfectly, using a microphone headset that made it very clear to understand instructions. Her poses were easy to understand (challenging to do though, as it should be) and she gave very clear examples. Some of the positions I remember were 'cat/cow', gate pose, downward dog, sun salutations, rag doll, goddess pose, surfer lunge, and near the end a pose that required balance that I have yet to master. Movati, thank you for Kasia’s Yoga (Hatha) class online. I have to say not only did I enjoy my class with Kasia but the feeling stretched and a more relaxed mind made my day much better, especially though these challenging times. Well done!

Gym facilities are quite nice & have lots of contemporary offerings including some unique ones. Steam rooms, Saunas, Yoga, etc. As others have noted they do request your personal banking information for your monthly payments as the only form of payment (which I find a bit bizarre). Please read your contract carefully & make a fully informed decision before signing & most importantly Stay Healthy!

He has a holistic view of fitness and has excellent listening skills. As a client, I have been very impressed with how he listens to my needs and developing a workable plan that is achievable. Great results with Yusuf, and would highly, highly recommend asking for him by name when looking for a persoanl trainer. Hands down the best personal trainer I have had!!!

I have 2 things to say about this gym: 1) I truly appreciate all the extra effort taken by the staff to maintain the cleanliness of the equipment, lockers, studios, etc. I feel more confident in booking a workout because the staff and the members are making a conscious effort to be safe. Thank you for doing a great job! 2) If you’re at the gym and looking to get yourself back in shape but need help - you have to look for Yusuf, my trainer. He is invested in your goals, and wants to make sure you’re getting a great workout in each time. He is super knowledgeable and was able to design a tailored food plan that worked for me and it’s never been so easy to eat. He motivates me even when I want to give up. You want his energy around 100%. I look forward to every session.

Beautiful facility. Great equipment. My disappointment comes from space given to training in the free weight and machine area. There doesn't seem to much thought in the placement of the machines, nor do I believe they have given enough square footage for the area. I believe the majority of members will spend their time in this area and will lead to overcrowding. Space should be given accordingly to areas where the majority of members will use. I've seen too many gyms that create large specific areas which aren't high usage.

I pay 28.50 a month at crunch on Erin mills and Millcreek and they have all the same stuff as this gym and it allows me to go to all the gyms across Ontario. Goodlife has Eleiko bars, platforms and plates if you’re a “serious” lifter or an actual power or oly. lifter. Meadowvale community centre has been completely renovated head to toe and has terrific classes, brand new weight training equipment, Olympic size swimming pool and a full size basket ball court; all at a fraction of the cost to what this gym is offering. The only thing I can’t think of that’s in a 5 km radius of my house is a spin studio, like a soul cycle, that this Movati has. I worked out this gym once and I can already tell how toxic this gym is going to be to go to, I rather put up with the same antics for 50% less. Also the machines at this Movati aren’t as varied as the one in Burlington; this point really bugged me since the one in Burlington has amazing machines that I’ve never seen before. The crunch at Millcreek and Erin Mills is probably better suited for you if you’re a body builder since they have more barbells, more racks, more benchs’ and way more machines. Idk why anyone would go here other than: for newer equipment, they really don’t know that a gym is a gym no matter where you go (i.e. you’re just starting out) and clearly you haven’t checked out the dozens of community centres in Mississauga or the GTA. Save your money, put it towards healthier food, which is also expensive, add a small routine that you can do at home without equipment, go for more walks and pour through the countless fitness videos on YouTube. As a personal trainer for 4 years a new gym doesn’t mean motivation for better results, more often it means money wasted. A transformation that will stick can take 10 years to achieve. Inform yourself with google first and thank me later.

I’ve been a member since the grand opening of the Burlington gym (which I absolutely LOVE).. Moved to Mississauga and couldn’t wait for this new location to open up so I can get back into my routine. Although I like the gym, I am not happy about the fact that some of the equipment they have in the Burlington location isn’t available in this gym at all-and this equipment I used regularly as part of my routine. The bicep and triceps curling machines are not there! Seriously, which fool decided that it was a good idea to exclude something so essential?! Very unhappy about this, I complained to a staff member who is a personal trainer in the gym, and he took note of it and said that he would pass it on as they are still receiving new equipment and changing some things around equipment wise. To be fair, they have a couple of things the Burlington location doesn’t have, but I’d rather have the bicep and tricep machines over the stuff they have that the Burlington location doesn’t. Seems like a poor choice to use up space on machines that most serious lifters will never bother using and exclude the more useful machines. You guys really need to change some of this equipment around—DO NOT FORCE US TO NEGLET OUR BICEPS AND TRICEPS and only rely on the free weights as well as those other silly substitute press-down girly goofy machines that do nothing!

If you are looking for a competent, knowledgeable trainer who really cares about you, ask for Yusuf. He is the best personal trainer I have ever had. The needs of his clients come first and he is a great listener. He has extensive knowledge in different areas and he really cares that his clients achieve their goals. It is rare to find such a good trainer, do not hesitate to contact him.

Movati only officially opened a few weeks ago but it is surprising not too busy. The gym is large and split up into different sections which is smart because it keeps the gym feel not overly populated. There are areas for the pool, weights, machines and rooms for classes and even a zen area for yoga and meditation. The women's only section features its own area for weights and machines as well as a room for classes. I've been coming here 3 times a week and there are a variety of classes I am looking forward to joining.

She makes members feel valued and welcomed. Her customer services skills are excellent. I am happy that MOVATI decided to open in Mississauga, there is no gym like it , in my opinion . Just got the gym membership and it’s amazing. Love how theres a separate section for women only gym and swimming pool. But just a few things: 1) The lighting in the women’s gym and changing room is too bright, the white colour is very bright. It would be amazing if it can be changed to a yellowish colour how it’s upstairs in the workout area. 2) The music in the women’s changing room is very loud and it sounds sad. Can it please be changed to normal songs or even radio music and turned a bit down. Other than that, everything is amazing!

I recently joined this location, and wanted to take a moment to thank Account Representative Jordan H. for helping me throughout the sign-up process. He was extremely personable, helpful and supportive. Due to his positive energy I felt confident and excited to sign up as a new member and come back the next day to use the gym for the first time. He gave an engaging tour, and provided me with a great array of options to maximize my experience. He took the time to get to know me, my fitness goals, past fitness experiences and what brought me to Movati. The sign-up experience was great, he answered all of my questions and provided amble opportunity for me to assess my commitment and I didn’t feel pressured. Joining a new gym can be scary, but Jordan provided great customer service and I hope others get to interact with him in the future!

Warm, welcoming staff! Clean, organized facility. Exciting, flexible (and creative) whole-body workout classes daily. One of the very best environments conducive to cultivating or maintaining a total wellness lifestyle- they have all the tools available to get you started or keep you pushing your limits. I've found other gyms intimidating and sometimes discouraging but since joining I actually look forward to at least an hour of keeping my body in motion AND I'm no gym bunny????. This gym caters to the very varied spectrum of fitness levels!

I attended today's opening day and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience! I am unsure why people are having a problem with the women's only area, when everything offered there is offered in co-ed, but I guess there will always be something to complain about if you look for it. It's a great space, tons of classes offered, everyone I spoke with seemed friendly and helpful. So all in all, a very positive experience. And yes, I did spend most of my time in the women's only, and I will continue to do so as it is, what I deem, a very considerate and refreshing space provided by this establishment.

Friendly staff, easy registration. Forgot to tell me about 2 free protein shakes until after I paid for one. Great facilities, lots of water fountains and santiizng wipes to clean machines. Vast selection of cardio/machines/freeweights. There's a channel on cardio machines where you watch your kids in the daycare, super convenient. Pool, hot tub, steam and sauna look great. $6 to replace lost tag which seems excessive. Look forward to my next visit for family swim.

This is by far the best gym I have ever been to. All of the staff members are very kind, Liza in particular was so sweet and extremely helpful when I signed up. The Women's only section is the biggest reason I singed up here, it is truly a club within a club, like they say it is! It has everything you could possibly need for a great workout, and as a woman it makes the workout much more comfortable. Everything is extremely clean as well, I always see people cleaning when I come to the gym which is amazing. Movati FTW! Couldn't recommend it more :)

5-Star Review for this location! My experience so far has been phenomenal! Shout out to both Morgan and Julian for great customer service and always being there to greet you when you walk in. Both are professional, courteous, and very friendly. Morgan made the sign-up process seamless and was thorough in all the agreement details. She answered all my questions and gave a tour of the facility. 3 weeks into my membership and I am loving every day of it! Great fitness equipment and club amenities! I switched over from another gym and am so glad I did! Locker rooms are always clean. The pool is crystal clear! Gym equipment is always clean and members are respectful to each other and wipe down all equipment after use. They have punching bags, suspension training, CrossFit type equipment great for HIIT, and much more.

The equipment is amazing and the environment pushes you to achieve your goals. I miss it so much. I have been to a lot of gyms in my life, but this gym and their staff has treated me like a KING for the moment i walked in. from the time you walk in, its almost like you can see the smiles through the masks. They are ready to help and make sure that you are taken care of. The women and men in service behind the counter really make you feel like you are apart of the Movati family. I feel like I might even get the invite to the Movati Christmas party at the end of the year just for being a member. If you think I am exaggerating your insane and you got to check this facility out :). The equipment is emaculate, if you ran out of plates to eat your lunch or dinner on you could just use a weighted plate as a replacement, thats how clean I feel the gym is when I walk through the door. And just to throw myself under the bus a bit here... at other gyms I will sometimes finish my workout and my ego is so high that i just yell and throw the weights on the floor and just leave them instead of re-racking. BUT at Movati these people have made me feel like its my home, and so i make sure everything is put back where it should be to help maintain there standard of quality and excellence. ALSO dont get me started on the juice bar, its almost like the willy wonka of smoothies. Have you ever had their Tropical Fruit Cup!? .. well if you havent you need to stop by and ask for Liza! This girl will make you the best Tropical Fruit Cup smoothie youve ever had (if you have ever had one..), I am convinced that Liza and the rest of the team at Movati likely have to do some kind of smoothie certificate that no other gym has to do because there smoothie energy is next level!! Anyway, I feel like im rambling and you should be half way to Movati Athletic.

So far, so good! I signed up for a membership back in the summer when the gym was still under construction. This is how I would rank Movati out of other big box gyms I've been to so far: Goodlife Fitness - Movati Athletic - Lifetime Athletic. If you're looking for something better than Goodlife but can't afford the pricey membership of Lifetime, this is the place to go. There are plenty of machines to use that I haven't had an issue waiting (especially the cardio machine's). The change rooms are way cleaner and luxurious compared to Goodlife. The change room has a spa like feel to it. I found it unique that the shower has two shower heads that you can choose from based on your preference (eg. rainfall or regular). Everything is super brand new so everything is functional. I am hoping that the gym stays this way down the road. It's not really busy compared to other gyms yet but time will tell. PS: They also have a pool table in the lounge!

Would never recommend this place!! Never sign any contract for personal training or athletic therapy!!! We signed a contract for my son for athletic therapy for a ACL rehab in Sep 2020 for 3 months as he needed to be ready for high level sports as from Jan 2021, but unfortunately the gym was closed and we never heard from the personal trainer. So today, Sep 1st 2021, almost a year after, when we don't need the therapy anymore, the club is still charging us for the training and we still have to pay for the 3rd month as well. They're saying we still have to use these sessions even though we don't need any therapy anymore!! How funny and ridiculous this is!!! Even though my son is an active member at the club, the management doesn't care about customer retention!! The personal training manager and his regional manger are both useless and incompetent in taking decisions. Very poor level of customer service!!! HUGE mistake we did by signing a contract with Movati Athletic Mississauga!!

Great facilities, equipments are updated, excellent selection of fitness/cycling/yoga classes available. Love their fitness class booking system! The swimming pool / hot tub, steam room, sauna makes you feel like you’re at a spa. The change rooms, club facilities/workout spaces are always kept clean. Members respect one another and make sure workout equipment are wiped clean / disinfected after each use. Cleaning/ disinfecting supplies are always stocked. They follow Covid-19 protocol and ensure safety of their members. I’m extremely proud to be a member of the MOVATI club!

The gym itself has great equipment and a lot of variety of machines, however the system for classes and instructors in charge of hosting classes is completely awful. I signed up for Hot Yoga with Angie today for a 12pm class and due to heavy snow weather reached the hot yoga studio class doors at 12:01pm where I was told I cannot enter. Angie has done this before to me also. For a gym where I pay premium to use certain services, I expect premium service. Never in my experience at La Fitness or Goodlife Fitness or even Lifetime Athletic where I have had memberships before have I not been given at least a 5 minute grace period to enter a fitness class especially when everyone is aware of bad weather conditions. After all, I AM PAYING for these services, so if I miss a few minutes of a workout class it should not BAR be from entering considering I signed up for it. I go to the gym to relax, not to feel another stress to make it somewhere and get upset because I reached 1 minute after arrival time. After my year is up, I will not be renewing with Movati, it's unfortunate how poor the system for classes is. Take your money to a different gym.

I've been a member at this gym for about a month and am really impressed by how clean and beautiful it is and the class selection. I had a consult with personal trainer, Yusuf this week and was extremely impressed with how much he knows his stuff. I didn't expect to find someone with such advanced knowledge at a "big box" gym and had a great experience/learnt a lot. He is extremely receptive to personal preferences and lifestyle and self professed "isn't one of those coaches to tell you to eat green/clean all the time." It's really neat to see someone so up to date with fitness and nutrition. Highly recommend meeting with Yusuf if you've had bad experiences with coach's lack of knowledge at other big box gyms, and want someone who is willing to listen and understand your lifestyle while setting goals to fit it.

This gym is amazing. I was at GoodLife Fitness for over 15 years so deciding to change gyms was a big step for me. The main reason I changed to Movati, as we were in a pandemic, was their HVAC system and the cleanliness of the gym. This gym is huge and you are never really close to other members. The staff is very friendly. When I have sent an email to Movati asking a question, I always got a response back. Unlike GoodLife, they listen to their members. I remember at the start of the pandemic when I was still a member at GoodLife, I questioned the staff about why there were not more hand sanitizers around the gym. The answer was “it is proven better to wash your hands with soap and water”. So that would mean after touching the equipment, I would need to go to the washroom. A totally ridiculous answer. Right then I knew that my days at GoodLife were over. Movati I have counted the days until the gym opened and am thrilled to be back. I feel very safe and comfortable at Movati. So glad I made the switch.

Very very upset. Usually like this gym but incredible that a class started at 10:15am for spinning and Kristina wouldn’t let me in because I was there at 10:15am- give or take 15 seconds. The instructor wasn’t even on the bike yet and rudely told me the class had already started which wasn’t true. She wasn’t even on her bike yet and giving her introduction. The class wasn’t even full- only about half capacity. Extremely disappointed in the customer service received. I am never late and to be 15s in and to not be let in because you felt like it isn’t professional at all.

*Dec 19th VIP opening was great. The energy from all the employees was very welcoming and the live DJ kept the hype going. The gym itself has a luxury feel to it! I am a bit disappointed that the Fuel Studio isn't similar to the one in Burlington. They have a ton of unique pieces of equipment. I truly hope the standards are kept at a high and the gym remains a 5 star environment. I would definitely recommend checking it out!!* My sign up process was pleasant. Sabrina S was very informative with the club features and the price breakdown. It's nothing shocking, the usual fees you have to pay just like any other new gym. I've been to the Burlington location many times and i know that the Mississauga location will not disappoint. As for the women's only section, i was quite happy to hear about this, i know some women do not feel comfortable working out around the googly male eyes you see roaming the gym. No one should be upset about this. I for one think this is a great feature and support it fully. I'll update my review once the gym opens for those that are complaining about the 5 star reviews looking suspicious as the gym isn't open yet... Dec 19th couldn't come any sooner :)

The gym reviews speak for themselves. Movati is one of the top gyms in the GTA, and has everything you need in a gym. But if you are looking to get an extra push and stay on track with your goals, you need an educated and experienced personal trainer, and I would recommend Yusuf! Yusuf is a wonderful trainer! He makes sure all his clients are staying on track with their diets and workouts, whether they are in the gym or out of it. He checks up on you weekly, no matter how many clients he has, he cares for all of them equally and wants the best for each of them, he treats you like family. Yusuf is a great motivator and he's mindful of your limits. I don't usually write reviews, but with a great trainer like Yusuf, a review deserves to be written. Movati will always be one of the top gyms if they have experienced trainers like Yusuf. Highly recommend!

This is a great facility to train at however the overall customer service has increasingly gotten worse since the club opening. Advice to management: it's a good idea to treat paying members with respect or at least show an effort to assist them instead of leaving a concern unresolved. If I didn't like this gym, I would have cancelled my membership by now based off that fact. Thought it was worth noting that I'm not the first person to point out that their staff seems unprofessional and unfriendly.

My first day in the gym Liza from Movati met with me and my fiancé and explained the process in clear detail. She was patient and very knowledgeable. A few days later i was having issues with my Movati App (fault of my own) and was unable to book a yoga class. Liza being the outstanding person she is went above and beyond and booked me into a class on her phone. Great gym overall but lacking some key amenities that are just basic at most premium and non premium gyms. Have mentioned to the staff many times that the sauna does not do what it's supposed to. It is not anywhere close to being hot as most other gyms. For some people who use it avidly for therapy it is a huge let down. Lifetime and GoodLife both have the temps of 150 to 175 degrees Fahrenheit. Also there is no cold plunge. For 80 bucks a month you would expect these two things to be comparable

Ive been a member at Movati Mississauga since they first opened up, let me just start off by saying this is by far the cleanest, most professional and all around best gym that I have ever been to. The customer service is outstanding and don't even get me started about the shakes. Everyday after my workout I head to the juice bar and get a cookies and cream protein shake, just ask for Quentin, Kevin or Liza and they'll hook you up. I strongly suggest you check this gym out, i can guarantee you'll fall in love as soon as you walk through the doors as the front desk staff in the evening is great.

Honestly this gym completely milks your money especially during covid instead of helping members. They require you to go in even if you dont feel safe or live in the same city anymore. I am writing this review for Matthew Lee, the personal trainer at this location. He has been my trainer since Sep 2021. I train with him 3 times a week. I have some injuries and limitations, I am impressed with his knowledge and some exercises he has given me to help me heal from my injuries. He has also help me correct some exercises I was doing wrong from many years leading to pain and repetitive strain injury. I really appreciate the fact that he comes up with some very safe and isolating exercises to target arms for a 50 + years old woman like me (and we know we really need to work on our arms :)). Not bad. Needs some work. Such as wifi on cardio machines are on. Green light indicates it's on... but not all work. Creates a problem to watch built on screen netflix. Some machines also need the legs leveled. Weight machines are not fixed in timely manner. There is a 100 dollar fee at the start so they need to keep the machines running better to reflect that fee.

I signed up with Morgan and I can promise that she was NOT aggressive or misleading in any way! I refer my friends and family nonstop and I ALWAYS ask for Morgan or Mike!! The Gym is very clean and the members are very friendly and respectful unlike other Gyms like Goodlife etc, which is why I left Goodlife Fitness. I wish the weight section would be a little bit bigger and the WIFI a little bit faster and wont disconnect me from the WIFI during my workout. Otherwise its been a great experience so far. Well done Team Movati. You guys are doing great!!!

I have beeb to many gyms and this is by far my favourite. It may be slightly more expensive than most gyms, but it offers incredible value for the price. I love the new equipment, AntiGravity classes, functional training room, and hot yoga. Finish it off with a 15 minute sauna meditation and you are flying!

Switched from GoodLife to Movati because of the new gym, great selection of unique and standard equipment. So far the staff has been very good, call-out to Brandon and Matthew. One area that can improve is response time to questions or suggestions.

It is a beautiful gym. It literally has everything you’ll ever need in a gym. However, I’m greatly disappointed in the blatant disrespect and unequal treatment. if you are a male or a personal trainer, you can record your workouts. As a female, one day you’re told you can record as long as there is no one else in your frame… Another day you’re told you can’t record at all. There is no policy against recording. Nonetheless they’ll terminate your contract for simply recording your workout. If it’s a rule, enforce it across the board. I tried their gym out on a trial basis but refuse to join a gym that treats people unfairly. There are over 15,000 hashtags of #movati on Instagram posts alone yet a female member was terminated for recording with no one in her frame..
