This is outside of the trainers that work there, they are all great especially Shiv, she is a gem. But the business structure, how management and customer service are handling, updates, account freezes,cancellations and continuing to steal members and ex-members money is GARBAGE. Impossible to cancel my membership. I’m not even on contract and they keep sending me in circles to cancel my pass. I cut off my credit card payments to them and they’re sending a collection agency for $11 after I’ve contacted their head office multiple times and spoken to employees at the branch to cancel my membership.

I have given this gym only 2 stars because they do not maintain this facility. If a machine breakdown, it is not repaired for months. The machines with weights have the weight selection bolts missing,Paper to wipe the machines is missing frequently. Half the bathroom showers are not working for the last 6 months.The whole gym has only 1 wall clock which can not be seen from half the gym area.

Terrible. I've been getting charge $81 almost every week and i haven't even been going to the gym for over a year. they say maintenance fee. I've been charged atleast 7-10 times $81 just within this year. They say join for $1 and get charged $11 for the rest of the year. I think theyve charged over $650 dollars from me. Complete scam. I will be showing up to the location tomorrow. I'd give them 0 stars. DO NOT JOIN

I refuse to provide any rating because after having sorted through a lost credit card, I had to pay the gym missed payments, late fees that jumped with no warning or notice and paid for the next month as well to cancel my membership. I am now receiving additional emails requesting for more payments and it has been nothing short of hell, trying to communicate that I cancelled my membership and stopped coming to the gym 4 months ago.

I recently joined this fitness club. Upon entering the facility, the staff did not provide the necessary information regarding the facility (I walked blindly into the facility looking for everything). The facility itself wss alright and i like that everything was open, spacious and roomy. Upon exiting the facility, staff did not help much in setting up my membership. Facility is good but customer service is horrendous. Definitely need to retrain staff or get more competent staff members.

Very poor. This place started with flying Colours. Now, they apparently expose that they don’t have money to run this place. No Hand Sanitizers. No cloth wipes instead paper towel ????. Water instead of Sanitizer. Soap dispenser in the washroom is broken and empty. Many treadmills Broken, Out of service or missing safe cords. The Gym equipment covers torn and missing of adjustment bolts. Overall, this place might shut down anytime it seems.

I am not sure why the are charging me when i have not even taken their membership...there is no way to reach these guys, as none answers the call. Just got charged whole year membership for no reason. Even if you cancel the membership, they keep charging you. Staff at the counter is clueless and just say they can't help.

Nice and cheap for a monthly membership, but.... Cable machines are always missing pins for the weights, you want weights? You'll have to spend half of your workout looking for them, no one puts them back. There's never any paper towels to clean the machine you're using, and I've never seen a gym allow people to work out in flip flops. Massive safety hazard along with the fact they allow children to run around in the gym, while their parents just allow it. Overall it's ok, maybe going back to LA Fitness would be a better option if you like a gym that's cleaner, takes care of their equipment, and makes members follow the rules.

I really do love this gym. The employees are always nice, the gym has lots of space, it has a great atmosphere, it has the essentials, the change rooms are always clean and its affordable. However, what concerns me is the amount of machines that either dont work/ are missing the weight pegs and the lack of dumbbells/barbells. I really want to stay but im considering moving to another gym when my subscription is over because its just getting more and more frustrating. Please crunch, fix these issues!!!!!!

I love this branch from day one I was treated with the warmest of greetings from the staff at the front desk especially Ali he's been such a delight he signed me up my first time signed to a gym I didn't feel pressured he explained everything I needed to know so kindly I've couldn't have received a better first time experience thank you Ali. The trainners are dedicated to their students Shivanni is awesome her classes are so amazing she's so creative as she trains us different techniques. I am so impressed she's always motivating us as were working out. Ive got so many compliments I've lost so much weight and have never looked so good I got my confidence back thank you Crunch I definitely recommend this branch to everyone. recommend

Huge gym with a basketball court. There's a separate workout station for the ladies which is great. Lots of variety for fitness classes to compliment your workout. Membership fee is so affordable and you can bring guests.

Worst customer service experience ever had. Staff is so rude especially Sarah, she thinks she is doing some favour when she is helping customers, where as she doesn’t understands she is being paid for it. My membership was cancelled and still this crunch fitness is withdrawing money from my account, like no less than fraud. They really need to update their system of contact, as nobody will reply your emails, calls etc. Poor Customer service, Manager should talk to their staff members, in order they really want their gym to work well.

It's a PAIN to get the membership cancelled. Even after sending multiple emails, the customer service team could not help with it and money keeps on getting deducted. Do they take only in person cancellation requests? 19 May 21 Below is the response I got 7 days back for the first deduction and heard back nothing after that. On top of that, another deduction happened from my account. *************** Thank you for reaching out. Please allow 48-72 hours for a response. Please note our billing software has recently been upgraded and may have caused some members to be billed during our closure. We are currently investigating the issue and actively working towards a resolution. Thank you for your continued support & understanding.

Scammers. Avoid at all costs. They began processing my over charge and cancellation refund a month or more before the government required that gyms be closed. I’ve called and sent multiple emails. They kept promising that I would get my refund soon. Never received it. Now all calls go to voicemail and emails are ignored.

They kept charging my card even after my membership was canceled and fully signed by their OWN employees. Took out 3-4 months of payment and when i brought it to their attention. I was told they were gonna refund it back to me within 4-8 weeks. Been 3 years now and haven’t received a single penny from them. Bunch of scammers

It's a nice gym with affordable monthly fee. The only downside is that it is not open 24 hours as advertised. On Saturday and Sunday it closes at 7pm which is not good enough. Other than that the gym has a lot to offer from Zumba classes to basketball court, everything is up to the mark. Usually busy during 6pm to 9pm. Avoid this time of period if you wanna enjoy your workout.

This gym is big but is always crowded. The dumbbell section is complete warfare as there is zero gym etiquette. Like squirrels harvesting nuts or pack rats, people take 15,20,25lbs dumbbells off to the corner and hog them. Pretty brutal. Everyone does it leaving the dumbbell rack empty most times. Management is rarely on the floor advising patrons. Usually they are just chatting with each other. Thankfully there is two of everything. The only saving grace for this gym. 150$ a year. This is what I get.

i rather be crunching on chips then come here, dunno why but working out here wouldnt be the ideal luxury… especially after eating bad biryani from biryani king down the road. i would recommend the ayyycorns at this park and make soup out of it. Working out is nice but soup is better. Always remember to crunch those numbers, the numbers of calories!

I go to this gym almost 4-5 times a week when I can. The people working here are very friendly and greet you every time you walk in. The gym is massive and packed with a wide assortment of equipment for people of all athletic levels to use. I also love the separate women's area, as that is normally where I feel the most comfortable working out. There is also tons of locker space for both men and women, numerous showers, a sauna, and most importantly the entire building is kept very clean. Would recommend!

I think the facility is great, the gym is pretty spacious. However, there is specifically this one woman at the front desk who has a really unprofessional attitude. I don't know her name, but she's white skin, pretty average height and wide. Once I was moving up the line into the gym and she was yelling at me like she was personally offended. Another time I forgot to sign in and she looked at me like I cheated on her. Definitely ruins my gym experience, and I hope she treats me with respect, if not at least in a professional manner.

the worst gym i have seen in my life, my membership was supposed to end in February and they did not charge me after that but all of sudden in August i see the transaction on my account for 90$, they did not inform before taking the money out from the account via email or phone call and when i try calling them they never answer my calls or respond to any of the emails. Then i had to visit the branch in person (i am 8 months pregnant and its very unsafe for me to be in public places during this pandemic), they canceled my membership and initiated the refund request but then again they charged me another 30$ even though i canceled my membership. Never ever pre-authorize them to use your card otherwise you will be seeing transactions that you dont want.

Has all the equipment you need to get a decent workout in - squat & power racks, bumper plates, benches, cardio equipment, machines, etc, however it is lacking a stretching space. When it's busy, you need to work in with others or wait. Bad rating because of the gym environment and the lack of respect the gym goers have for others. Staff are friendly, but perhaps they could spend more time enforcing gym etiquette. Weights are a mess. Dumbbells and plates are never in the right place. People move equipment around and don't put it back. People don't unrack their weights. People rarely wipe down their equipment after they're done. Masks are supposed to be worn when walking around the gym but no one does that. People will get into your personal space all the time. Literally have been squatting and someone will come and try to do pullups in the rack I'm using. I've also had people try to talk to me while I'm in mid-lift.

A lot of machines need maintenance. Many weights are missing. Wish the hydro beds were running and wish they would bring the overnights back already! The daytime staff are always kind and polite, and show me proper ways to use machines when I ask for help. Very patient and caring.

I’m still being charged monthly payments even though I cancelled my contract in August. My yearly contract was up in June, but for some reason, they automatically renewed my contract without even asking me. It’s funny since gyms were closed, you’d think they would give some sort of notice to their patrons. They charged me the yearly maintenance fee and won’t refund it either. Very disorganized and lack of customer service is ridiculous. I’m extremely disappointed and will NEVER return, and neither do I recommend. Stay away!

They have alot of clients, so I know they are making profits. So management needs to fix their machines. Alot of the weight stacks are rusting. Some machines need maintenance done on them. Wire rope pops off of pulleys track. Basic maintenance were you dont need to hire a handyman to fix. Mens changeroom is a mess and lots of damage to drywall and lockers. The urinal doesn't work. Lots of equipment and big space, just garbage management, no upkeep at all. When their was a lockdown management should have addressed these problems. Lazy... also some machines don't even have the pins for the weight stack.

The price is what makes it worth it. The basketball court is always crowded they could use some more machines only one machine to do dips. The interior need some more work as its just a room with a desk and exercise machine so pretty much anyone could walk in if it's busy

The white lady who is the manager there is very unprofessional when speaking to members. Their staff is incompetent and rude. One of their staff members "Jae" swears at gym members and thinks she can get away with it. When I told her that was rude the manager didn't listen to a word I had to say and instead took Jae's side blindly. Complete lack of professionalism and mannerisms. Machines are always broken and gym is never clean. Was a member for 4 years but thank god not anymore. Join GoodLife instead!

No maintenance of the gym. The water was leaking other day which means there is no safety at all. Half of the machines are broken. After that if you take membership, you're just stuck in membership for 1 of two years. All you do if lose money nothing else.

I thought I got a great deal with this gym. Turned out to be a nightmare. I’ve signed up for early membership. I’ve later decided to cancel my membership since most equipments were always breaking down and left for weeks without repaire. I canceled my membership 6 months into the agreement, but I had to pay for the whole 12 months and I received a cancelation confirmation. Yet for some reason, that even the branch manager doesn’t understand as she claims, I was charged a new annual fee and they started withdrawing monthly fees. I’ve went in person 3 times to the gym and emailed twice trying to resolve the issue. I have provided them with a copy of my cancelation confirmation. And each time they confirm that it’s a mistake and it’ll be fixed. But again, they charged my account another monthly fee. I’m seeking now legal action.

Gym isn't even 24hours it closes at 10pm on Friday and only operates 7am - 7pm Saturday and Sunday. Completely unhappy with the hours of operation after being advertised to be 24 hours. Hopefully this gets fixed or I will be considering cancelling. I even left fit 4 less which is a 24 hour operating gym to sign up for this one. Should of stayed at this point till these hours for fixed.

Been wanting to give review ever since I’ve joined this gym. 30% of of the equipment has been marked out of service since few months now and no one has bothered to get it fixed! The temperature in the gym sucks balls, it’s way too hot to be working out at times. Something needs to be done about the horrible washroom in the lady’s section. The toilets are always looking dirty, maybe put in some sort of air fresheners in the washrooms? There are signs posted about cleaning the equipment after use, but there is a lack of cleaning sprays/napkins at all TIMES!!!! I had a major problem today while I was doing my workout. So apparently it was a training session and as I was in the middle of MY workout I was told to get off the treadmill so the female trainer can begin with her class. I completely understand how this works, BUT you can not tell someone to quit their workout so someone else can begin their workout. They should put up signs so that other people are aware of what’s going on. I told the female trainer that I’m in the middle of my workout and I can not just stop and she can not tell me what to do. She said yes she can, so I ignored her and she got loud with me and I’ll be honest I told her off.

NOT ENOUGH BARS, even at the slowest of times, you have to wait for a bar for extended periods of time; There aren't even enough bars to fill the benches, not even close. Machines are broken and unavailable for extended periods of time, I get that machines will break after use, but repair takes at least a week. Music at times is WAY to loud, like unbearably loud for no reason. Price is listed at just over 10 bucks, but every few months you are charged an additional fee to "keep the price at 10 bucks per month". Hours are ridiculous on friday and weekends. Not open long enough.

I started Crunch fitness 8 months ago...I usually come here for the classes, trainers are really good... The kids section is great -teachers -morning staff- Fari and Nalini are doing great job and are very caring...My son loves them and I can workout worry free when they are there.. Also the evening staff Soma did a very good job... I recommend to check Daycare out...

U can't find anything better for this price, this gym is like 70% size la fitness much bigger then GoodLife it lacks hygiene during evening and people don't even use deodorant who workout at that time I workout in the mornings so it's pretty clean during those time, u can't get anything better for 10 dollars

Worst gym ever, crooked people, bugs in the restroom..worst in all sense, must close!

I went to gym today Sunday at 3:00PM, I explained at customer service whole thing that I spoken with their manager last week. She started telling me I owe maintenance fee, I told her how could I owe any maintenance fee when gym was closed and there wasn't any maintenance going. She answered me back what are you trying to accomplish instead of telling me anything logical how could they can charge me any maintenance fee when gym wasn't open. Then I asked her when her manager is going to be there, she replied she doesn't know Then I asked her name and she said she doesn't know, very unprofessional behavior, she is rude and shouldn't be standing at customer service. Please people don't join gym that can't provide good customer service.

Not off to a good start World Gym, there is no said date for opening but you are advertising memberships and have already charged members an initial fee without access or providing a service. I think its unfair that you are continuously unavailable by phone for questions. I understand that it takes time and there are many factors in opening of a gym but some valuable information especially to your member customers would be a gesture of decent customer service.

I've been going to this gym for over a year and it has gotten worse day by day. The only reason I still go to this place is due to the limited amount of members. It would be great if management can review the pain points below. The day staff is helpful and friendly, however the night/morning staff is dreadful. Things I've seen recently: garbages overflowing, blood in the change room, trash on the floors, equipment not repaired for over 2 weeks, weight pins missing on machines, broken/worn down attachments on machines, and a banana peel in a locker for over 2 weeks (checked the locker everyday). My friends and I have reported these issues to the staff and are constantly replied with "its not my job." Hopefully someone can look into these issues and work on a resolution.

Numerous calls to request for cancellation of membership did not answer . It has been 3 months since I start calling to cancel my membership however they continuously deduct money from my account. Finally , one day they respond and confirm Deactivation of account after so many calls . However, Request to send me an email for confirmation which they never proceed and start deducting money next month onwards . Why my hard earned money being taken in such a dishonest manner ? Literally impossible to get anyone on the phone. Firstly, my home branch at Kings Cross closed without notifying anyone. I had to go this location to cancel my membership and was told that I should not get charged afterwards. Despite signing off my cancellation, im still getting monthly charges on my debit card. It's been about a week since I noticed I was charged again, and I have yet to have my phone calls answered. Ridiculous.

This is by far the worst communication I have ever seen from a business during Covid. I have been charged numerous times during the pandemic and still no one has rectified the situation. Automated emails being sent that you will be contacted within 5-7 business days, yet no communication what so ever for months. Cancelling my membership.

I like the gym the only feedback I have is to add more equipment to the women's room a Smith machine would be nice and also it should be 24/7. A full length mirror in the women's washroom would be nice. Update: Called in multiple times to speak to a manager regarding my billing issue I was told she will call me back. I kept waiting and waiting everytime I called I was told she will call back very unacceptable. I have yet to hear from this so called manager. I made three of my family members join this gym, you should really value your customers. I wasn't impressed at all once we are done with our 1 year we will be leaving. I also need to talk to someone about my mom's membership she is sick and she wont be returning to the gym. Hope to hear from someone.

I have sent emails to this gym since August 2020 to cancel my membership. Perhaps over 20 emails. I've also called this gym, there financial services and head office- no help over the phone and your lucky if someone picks up. They will not cancel your membership. FRAUD. DISHONEST. UNRELIABLE. I anticipate a class action lawsuit coming towards this gym based on the similar experiences I've read below.

Equipment is in decent shape, lots of the weight pins were missing. The water bottle filler has not worked for years, you can only fill your water bottle with the water fountain which takes forever. There’s a lot of graffiti in the men’s changeroom and there’s only 1 soap dispenser in the changeroom because the other ones were ripped off and have never been replaced. Random holes in the wall, looks like someone’s fist went through it, hasn’t been fixed in months. If not for the price I would have left long ago.

They charged my account for some other client and instead of giving refund they extended my two months which I don't wanted to do. But no choice. Someone eksesign just like me and without any verification they charge under my account. Must be some one from staff. Really really disappointed. Very frasteting every single day I have to call them to fix matter. Be very careful before getting annual membership.

Most specific Ali is so outgoing and very experienced in his role at this gym he definitely deserve the five star rating and should definitely be promoted this will ensure most acknowledgement of this facility and there reputation. The staff here are very welcoming & always have smiles on their faces! I love it, its so refreshing! Great job staff!???????? On the other hand.... Most machines are missing pins (the lil thing that kinda looks like a screwdriver that you use to choose which weight you prefer) It disrupts my workout & others because we have to go around looking for one. The water bottle fill up machine has been broken for months which creates longer waiting times in line for water because we all use the fountain & its super slow.

I went to Tread and Shred class this morning at 9:00, love it. I enjoy this class because it's new and different from the normal every day routine, great cardio workout with intervals fast pace and slow pace then you get to come off the treadmill and do some squats, it was amazing can't wait for the next class. Right after that I went do BB & T booth which was also new starts at 9:30 another great cardio/strength training workout i felt great after that class i did learn some different exercises today which targets different body parts. I'm excited about the new classes and l cant wait for what's next. I had and amazing workout and I'm looking forward for Zumba at 9: 30 tomorrow morning.

The gyms in Ontario have been closed and no one has been able to go to the gym, but Crunch Fitness decided to still charge customers for their membership. Not only that but they charged me more than what I I usually pay a month. I have contacted them several times and no response. Your money would be better spent else where.

I would recommend to report about this company because they are scammers. The gym was closed since Covid started and did not open since and they continue to charge us for absolutely no reason. Not only that they charge you more than the maintenance free. First of all it absolutely does not make sense why are they charging for maintenance in first place, when there is literally nothing to maintain when the gym has been closed. They continue to charge their customers and refuse to response at all. There’s no way to communicate with them whether that has to do with email, contact number, location etc. I recommend to report about this company to the city of Brampton so they take serious action and the customers get their money back.

i go to this gym at least 3 times a week. Staff is friendly specially Candice who is always greeting everyone with a great smile. I do classes most of the time and find that the classes get cancelled often and no one to replace the instructor. We make the effort to get up and look forward to these but when we show up the class is cancelled sign is at the door. Also any equipment that breaks down doesn't get repaired for weeks.

I went to the Gym today in the Morning and the lady named Jae at the receptionist was behaving very rude like if I owe her something since years. She followed racism and argued with me for no reason and she told me to leave the gym inspite I have a membership there. I don't know what the higher authorities have seen in her to put her as a customer service front desk. The kind of behaviour she was carrying was very rude and disgusting and along with me there were 6 more friends of mine who were enrolled there but the kind of behaviour she showed diverted my mind to take membership in another gym. I would advise all of you not to take membership or join this gym as the employees there just don't know how to talk especially the receptionist named Jae.

Terrible Customer Service! I've been paying for my membership from past 3 years. Additionally, they made me pay for the months the gym was not in operation. I basically paid my membership fee for the lockdown period as well. I've called the finance services before to cancel my membership I've also called this gym, there was no help over the phone. I finally decided to visit the gym today and start working out. I started talking to this CSR at the front desk named Jae, she did say she's the General Manager of the gym. I asked her what the protocol is and if they'd be compensating for the amount charged during pandemic. She was extremely rude and started yelling at me, advised I've to keep paying if I wish to continue else in a louder voice she told me to leave. She kept suppressing me with her louder voice and triggered discriminating comments. She kept emphasizing on making a payment, all I was asking was how much I have to pay and how they are gonna help me with the previous payments made as the gym was closed and they kept taking the payments. I explained her that I don't mind paying 'cause I did pay when they didn't even render the services. I just am asking if there's any changes after the lockdown or if they're offering anything in terms of compensation. Instead of advising, Jae kept yelling. Yelling at the client is not the responsibility of any CSR or GM, they are at the position to help people out and not to make them feel inferior. When I requested someone else to take over as I wasn't comfortable, she started acting superior and started using absurd language. Jae is undoubtedly not the right fit for that position and needs to get some training on how to deal with the customers. She needs to work on the way she treat people. Not sure why her behaviour's like that, whether its the personal issues or the upbringing. If its the personal issue, she should keep them aside and be polite while explaining. If its the upbringing, I feel bad for her family. Should've taught her how to be kind and polite and not a racist.

Economical than the big brand gyms out there, doesnt have a swimming pool or a running track. Has only 1 piece each machine for shouder press, fly, row, abdomen etc. So if there is one person doing machine row then you have no choice but to either wait or start doing shoulder press or fly or something else.

I do not recommend this gym. Unless you are good to wait for 15 minutes for each equipment and ready to workout in an overcrowded place. The sold far more membership as compared to the equipment they have. On top of that the staff doesn't cares about the customers or place. Don't fall into a trap of a yearly membership with card fee and twice a year extra fee just to keep your rate the same, which anyways remains the same.

I am a member but I am in the process of changing gyms. I give anyone fair warning about this gym. It is over crowded but the real problem is gym maintenance. They do not fix the broken equipment for months. Its horrible. I have been a member of a few gyms and this one is the worst. It is so bad Cruch just ran a advertising campaign that if members wrote good things on Google reviews you could be eligible to win 2 free years membership. Just visit they gym before joining and look at all the broken weight machines that should prove how horrible this gym is.

i have been going to this gym for over a year and to me it was fine at first, like every other gym it has things to lift and workout, you will definitely get a good workout. however, if your looking for an inviting and welcoming friendly environment to work out at then this place is not for you. because the memberships are so cheap it attracts people who are not fully committed so you end up getting people who are 100% into fitness mixed with people who half ass their workouts and are not serious and it just makes a bad place to work out. you'll get more value out of joining a gym that may be $30 a month but the staff is friendly and the people who work out there are not all people who stare and judge.

Beware guys, cheap costs more and Crunch Fitness is a perfect example of this. They will renew automatically without sending even a notification as compared to other fitness chains who are very transparent and send you reminders. When i joined this facility i asked for 1 year contract and without my consent the representative checked the renew automatically option and when i reached out to them they said you signed the contract. Their member login is so poor that it doesn't have anything of value, you cannot see any receipts , any payment schedule , not even the membership expiry date. They are doing it purposely because this way clients will not have the transparency and will be not be able to cancel the membership so that they can renew automatically and rip you off. Its a suggestion guys, beware of Crunch.

I've had a membership here for over a year now and its by far the worst gym experience I've ever had. I use to go to GoodLife, and if it weren't out pure convenience of location I would've cancelled my membership here at Crunch back when they were still World Gym. The women's section is a complete joke! It's extremely tiny, oddly shaped walls, which make it really difficult to workout properly without practically being on top of the person next to you! There's hardly any free weights available in the women's section, and it took over a year to get a mirror put in there, and still its small, and on only one wall...in fact the whole gym hardly has mirrors compared to other gyms, making it really impossible to watch your form when working out! The gym is also extremely dirty and unsanitary. The toilets in the women's change room is almost always clogged, there's hair and dirt everywhere, and in the winter salt stains cover the floor. When it comes to the cloths and spray bottles that the gym provides to wipe down equipment there's almost always none available! There's been countless times when I've had to walk around the entire gym just to find a full spray bottle and clean cloths in the bins. And the one thing that I believe is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE is that THERE ARE MICE AT THIS GYM! I recall working out one day in the women's section, balanced on a stacking block with a 40LB barbell on my back, when a mouse crawled under the block I was standing on! I jumped off out of fear and could've seriously injured myself. When I notified the front desk, their solution was by offering me a complementary 15min massage...which for the record I never ended taking them up on it. I did not want any type of compensation, the only thing I'm asking for is a CLEAN GYM. Which clearly this place can't offer. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Like I said again, if it weren't within walking distance of where I live and convenience of location I would've left long time ago.

I asked this lady at desk named Jae for help, she's super deceiving and mannerless woman I've ever came across. Having the chance to talk to her was all about dealing with racist comments from her end and being humiliated by her. I wonder why she's even there at front desk when she doesn't know the way she's supposed to deal with her clients. Gym authorities should be ashamed of having her as one of their staff members. The review by Sapna Sharma is 100% true. The same thing happened to me, I was on the treadmill too during that time. The lady trainer at the gym was was very rude. She said “You NEED to get off the treadmill because a class is coming and we need it.” She wanted to stop our workout so someone else can do theirs. This gym needs to improve by a lot so they can have a 5 star rating. I do not recommend Crunch Fitness to anyone you work experience the same thing.

I workout early morning and the lady Jae is always there to greet. It was well maintained in the beginning when old management (world gym) taking care since new tool over, its a mess. Hard to find weights as not on the assigned areas (poor lady has to find for morning people, the evening staff not even bother to put them on racks or even gather them in one place. Cables are not even balanced, mostly broken. No handles, no easy bars alot of mismanagement. Complained so many time to front staff during the day, evening also call but no one taking it seriously. Good for money, but not for fitness.

Just signed up and the machine selection is good. The water fountains weren't working properly. After working out and trying to take a shower the faucet was broken and I couldn't take a proper shower. The hanger in the shower was also rusted through and the shower floor was absolutely scummy everywhere. There was also broken drywall with nails sticking out going into the men's change room. You can tell the place doesn't have an active maintenance plan and it was sad to see all this filth and facilities looking un-cared for on my first day esp for the money you pay.

For a new gym I didn't expect much but the equipment is laid out so wrong I literally have to walk from 1 + of the gym to the other just to complete a leg day workout also the machines are broken frequently and there's just not enough equipment to share for all the people that are in the gym like there's literally one leg press for the entire gym and the machines are way too close together and I was charged a maintenance fee of $56 and I wasn't even aware that that was something that was going to happen so I had to pay a sign-up fee plus pay monthly and then a random maintenance fee of $56 honestly I wouldn't recommend this gym to anybody it is cheap and literally that is what you get a cheap facility with cheap equipment that's always broken and cheap service

Overall the gym is a nice place. Although, I do wish there was more and better equipment, and DO NOT RELY ON FREE WEIGHTS if you're not a super jacked guy like me then you most likely won't find a dumbbell under 50 pounds. The people who work out there do not care and the staff don't really pay attention as to whether the dumbells are put back in the right spots let alone put back on the rack at all. The price isn't bad but then again you pay for what you get.

Been going 5 days a week consistently for 4 months now with my girlfriend. Great gym, not too busy in the mornings. More than enough squat racks and machines. Staff is awesome, always greeted by Jae and Ella. Doubtful about the 1 star reviews because Ella and Jae have been more than welcoming. Ella constantly jokes around and talks to us and Jae even helped look around each and every machine for a missing rod that goes into the machine we were using. Can’t recommend enough. No issues whatsoever.

This gym WAS amazing before it was under the Crunch Fitness franchise. After it became Crunch Fitness, the gym went downhill. This gym is no longer clean as it used be, all equipment is in bad shape, many machines are broken with no sign of repairs happening anytime soon, if the machine is not broken the pin will be missing, washroom/change room is nasty. Overall you get the impression the gym is dirty, rundown and not looked after properly. Even with the cheap membership options available, this gym is not worth it.

I recently joined this Crunch fitness after I had amazing experience with Crunch fitness Hamilton west but this GYM is just good for trade mill. None of the equipment are in any good shape. There aren't full sets of free weights and it is impossible to find the required free weights. Machines have torn up seats and are in wobbly state. Not getting the any positive vibes for workout. 0 star out of 5.

This gym is a dump! They keep inconsistent hours, so you never can be sure when they are open. I just went there, at the usual time I attend, and they are closed, despite stating that they are open 24 hours on Tuesdays. Half the time you cannot find a staff member, and when you do, they behave as if they could care less! The gym is only cleaned whenever they pay the cleaners, which seems to be rarely; and the equipment is in disrepair. If something breaks, it is rarely if ever repaired! Most of the dumbbells look like they have been through a war zone! They removed the clocks when they painted the place, and a year later, they have yet to replace them. The patrons seem to show the place the same level of respect that management affords it, which is, none! The savages that patronize this gym, stick pieces of gum on the dumbbells and weight plates; and inside the lockers. They leave water bottles all over the place. They drop the weights unnecessarily, leaving them in tatters in short span. They refuse to put the equipment back where they found it; and never wipe it off. And why should they? There is no one who enforces the rules. Half the time there is nobody attended the desk, so anyone can walk in off the street. Do not be enticed by the inexpensive monthly fee. You may think that it is worth it, but it is not.

I cancelled my membership from August 27 ,2020. The crunch gym is still taking money out of my account in October and September 2020 and did not provide me with the refund they promised from august 2020; the 4-6 week grace period had long passed . I still have not received it the gyms were closed and crunch’s till took money out of my account . This is illegal . I am so very disappointed and angry . I have been trying to cancel my membership from March and no response . I finally cancelled in person after receiving no notice that they were open but after they took $73 out of my account (amidst COVID-19 pandemic and without notice-also mind you the regular fee is $16/month ). Today I have called 5 times and no response they are still taking out my money even though I cancelled two months ago in writing . Shame on you Crunch !

Do not go to THIS LOCATION. Gym is a nightmare. Dumb bells are a huge mix and match and missing sets. Most machines do not have numbers because are worn out and you can’t seem to take the rod out or in mostly all of them. Don’t usually nit pick but many more issues. No issues at other locations.

Pros and cons. Let's start off with the Pros 24hr gym on weekdays year pass is Reasonable price. They got classes for every type of ppl. And the sauna is a bonus!!. Now the Cons l. The showers Stinks and nasty they got 2 water drainage for 5 showers. Meaning if I'm using the shower that drain in my stall. And the next person beside me pee in the shower. This is the worst fitness center in Brampton. They even don’t care about your calls , emails after taking money . I am sending them voice messages and emails to stop my contract that was for one year from last June 2020 they even deducted $100+ for breaking contract and in 2021 still charge me 55$ . She refused that I previously told them to cancel the membership and refused to give me the refund. World gym was a great gym when they first started their business up. Then they changed brand to crunch fitness and the gym is never regularly maintained. Gym epiupmemt always out of order and waiting period for equipment can take half an hour to get a hold of sometimes. At the end of the day I don't care for the service at this gym, but at least have all equipment usable at 80% of the time. Update still poorly maintained equipment and a water refill station that seems to never be in actual working conditions

As per my experience between fit for less and world gym i prefer world gym . Big area and it is good equipment. Good price but they charging extra $20 per year for low price and $20 membership that is just unnecessary. They should open longer time on weekend as most people have time on weekends. Staff is ok they doing there job. I will give 5 star when they will open longer time on weekends. Now 5:30 Saturday morning and i want to go to gym but they open 7 am. 7 am to 7 pm is not enough at leat 5 am to 11 pm.

It really can't be beat for the price. Spacious and has a variety of exercise equipment. It can get really busy during peak hours but that's to be expected. No complaints from me so far. Just keep in mind that it is a $10 gym so adjust expectations accordingly.

I understand why there are no cameras in the locker room, but why are there no cameras anywhere else? I had a lock on my locker and triple checked if it was locked cause I'm paranoid like that, and still someone managed to break into the locker and steal my wallet. Fine, that's not the gyms fault. But why do they not have cameras anywhere else in the gym? A very frustrating experience and quite frankly I do not feel safe or comfortable going to this location anymore.

I have recently started going here with my 15 month old. The kids section is great -Taranpreet and Soma both are great and very caring. My daughter loves them both and I can work out worry free when she is with them. Gym is great with lots of equipment. The reason for my 4 star is women section is very small with no weights. There are machines that no one uses. I think they need to remove those machines and put some more weights. It's hard to workout outside in coed area because guys take over most of the area and there is no space left... They really need to work out on their women area considering many women would love to workout inside if they had more space..

Avoid this Company at all costs. They have charged me $80 bucks twice through the pandemic when I couldn’t even use the gym. They also closed down the Brampton south location without even sending out a message that it was being closed down. I left voice messages and left emails through the websites but no one called. I'm a World Gym member for years now, and recently started going to this location. The staff are great, the gym goers at this location are majority newbies, and I will say at times are foul. That can't be controlled, since people suck and will be everywhere. The part where I give this location a 2 and not a 3 or even a 4, is the fact that they don't make good use of their giant floor space, and to top it off, don't have even enough bars to fill the racks and benches there, which is as basic as it gets.

It gets packed between 6-9pm, which most of the people would go to, but even their eliptical machines and treadmills are not up to par(check weight-loss program on any of them it does not work) also their classes are not that good! Teach management how NOT to lie to their customers about promotions that are being posted on social media and that they don’t exist. I addressed a concern about not receiving my promo gift card for purchasing a gym membership on Boxing Day with the manager, and she flat out lied to me in email (Yes I have written proof), that there was no such promotion that day. I requested her to give me the number for head office, in which she did not even address. I asked why she lied to me with proof of the promotion on Facebook, and she again did not address this. No apology or anything. Really disappointed in her management style. Not to mention... when I renewed my membership - they made me pay the fee for the fob thing ... and didn’t even give me a new one. So why did I pay 20 dollars extra for something I didn’t receive ?

If you looking for a cheap gym. This is it. Hiwever be careful they charge some extra fees twice a year. Also, be prepared to deal with few things- no one cares to wipe off after they use equipment. No one cares to put back weights or dumbbells back. No one cares basically... just a cheap place to do your routine work outs. Its way overcrowed as well.

A year commitment which turns into a huge huge huge hassle to cancel. For goodness sake do not commit to this and then move because cancelling will be near impossible. Why pay for 9 months of not using a gym when you can pay for 10? Staff can say one thing to you and management says, "well that's not right, no" when you say that's what you're expecting to have happen. No apologies for the miscommunication. These are your staff telling me these wrong things - this is not my fault that this hassle is happening. Even when I went to this gym it was so-so. The women's only area is dungeon-like, the equipment goes missing. Do not recommend this gym to my least favourite friend.

This gym has alot of issues when it comes to there registration fees and contracts. I am not bashing the workers of the gym as it is their duties to issue what the owners and creators of this gym ask of of. If you are planning on staying at this gym for at minimal a year then sure take this upon yourself as the equpitment is not bad and the trainers are great. HOWEVER if you only plan on signing up temporarily and leaving within a few months this gym requires you to sign a contract that tells you you have to continually pay their fees monthly and this contract is non voidable unless you read the contract carefully as i did so. Planet fitness does not require you to sign a yearly contract to use their facility... but this gym for financial reasons do so. I would not recommend this gym unless you plan on being there for at minimal a year.

I was a previous Planet Fitness customer looking to find an affordable gym that has barbells, plates and more heavier weights. This was the best gym that fit that description. It is affordable, runs 24hrs from Monday-Friday and the gym has plenty of space. The downside of the gym is the equipment, this gym was a previous World Gym and some of the equipment is cracked/damaged. Most of the machines have missing pins to adjust weights, and there aren't enough ropes, handles, EZ grip bars, straight bars, etc for the cable machines. They need to bring in new equipment. Overall, being a member the past 3 months, this gym does motivate you to be better and improve your overall health. If you're looking for a gym that doesn't break the bank, this is an option for you.

I was in line to renew my membership today and I saw the poor girl behind the desk get yelled at and belittled by another member of the gym. All she did was explain what a charge was on their account, and the member lost their mind on her. She kept it professional and kept her composure. All I can say, is if that was me, I definitely would not have taken it so lightly. This also is not the first time I have witnessed such behaviour. Members like that should have their memberships revoked for being so ignorant and disrespectful to the staff who are just doing their jobs. 5 stars for the amazing customer service from the ladies at front desk!

Absolutely horrible customer service. They will provide false information and when you correct them, they get rude. Management doesn't care how their staff is or the level of service. Broken equipment that takes weeks to get repaired. Dirty change rooms and equipment. Definitely cancelling the membership. Would NOT recommend.

Been going here for 2 years and I love this gym. The membership of this gym is affordable. My favourite part of this gym is that the women’s gym room is huge and there are so many machines available. This gym is worth it’s money. ????????

Everything people are saying about this company is true. Their gym is closed and yet they continue to charge people for services they're not providing. I just checked my credit card and there was two charges this month from them. Talk about extremely shady business practices with no one from their organization answering any phone calls or emails.

Similarly to some of the recent reviews of this place, in April 2020, I had tried to reach out to cancel my membership as I could not afford it anymore and in anticipation of gyms reopening, I knew I would not be comfortable returning in these circumstances. There was no response to my emails, contact forms and phone calls. In early September of 2020, I went IN PERSON to cancel my membership after again failure from Crunch to reply to my phone calls, emails, contact forms and social media messaging. I was sent a confirmation of this cancellation through a document over email and was informed a 30 day notice was needed to cancel and therefore I would be on the hook for another months payment. Despite my efforts to contact them in the summer, I bit the bullet and conceded. Sure I'll pay another month as long as it means this is cancelled for good. October passed and what I thought was my final payment was charged to me. It is now November 2020 and I am still being charged for this gym. With another lockdown just before Christmas they have once again gone MIA and will not reply to any contact, so I will try them here as well. I would not be surprised if this does not get sorted until well after the new year. On top of this, the gym was never very clean or pleasant from a hygienic standpoint to begin with. Usually there were many broken or out of order machines. It is crowded, noisy, and rundown.

Worst location. Would give a 1 if I could. Cancelled my membership months ago with a zero dollar balance, even have proof from the gym of the cancellation since they emailed it to me, but they continue to keep charging my credit card. On top of that they won't pick up the phone and last time I called they said "to figure it out with the bank". Literally, do not go to this location at all. Join LA or Goodlife instead. Fraud!

Very unsatisfied with this gym lately. I used to be a very happy customer going on 3 years of membership. Lately I have found the gym to be very disgusting in terms of hygiene. The showers are literally growing mold and look like they haven't been cleaned since 2020. Furthermore, no one wipes down equipment when they are done, and all the urinals and toilets are closed with only one available. which also looks like its used with pee and fecal mater all over it. Will most likely be looking into other gyms..

First of all i would like to point out how un sanitized this gym is, half of the time the janitor is either walking around and not doing their job or working out. Don't get me started on the front desk staff, this place has no proper management, either the manager is there or sometimes they dont even have a manager. It seems like the staff has no proper sales experience in fitness, it like they just want to sell a gym membership and leave, they dont even acknowledge the customer.

I'm currently a memeber at this gym, I havent been in about a month. I called in yesterday morning at 10:45 am and a lady answered. I called asked to be sent a schedule of the classes being offered at this facility since there is no information about class scheduled online for this partibular location. The woman who answered the phone told me the following "You need to google Crunch fitness because we are changing our name, the class schedule should be there and its crunch, you know like the candy bar" and then she hung up the phone. Extremely rude and un professional. So I went online to crunch fitness and searched for the peter robertson location and ofcourse, no class schedules are posted. Thanks for helping- but not really helping me at all.

This is my 6th month in this gym and today was a pathetic experience for me. Louisa was at the reception today and she behaved very rudely and aggressively with me. There was some problem while scanning my and my daughter’s card. I told her that I have registered with crunch and have already paid my annual fee. But she kept on talking to me in a really rude tone. When I told her this she said you are not my mother and I can make you leave the gym. I told her to check the records and that I have registered with the gym. I also said even if there is some problem you can address the situation calmly. After that she told me around 3-4 times to get out of the gym. She only calmed down once I showed her my receipt but still she never apologized for her behaviour. Whatever the mistakes in the records were it was because of the guy who registered us but she created a scene without any reason. I am hugely disappointed at your pathetic level of customer service. This is no way to treat a customer like this. Also all of this situation was created by her in front of my guest which was really embarrassing for me.

I went to sign up for membership last week but the staff there had a "don't care" attitude, reluctant to provide information and the place was badly maintained. I took a tour and saw the place quite crowded and disorganized...the lockers and the change rooms had dirt all around, which left a very unpleasent and a bad impression overall. I eventually decided not to join, I have been a Goodlife member for about 8 years and though they are a bit expensive, but am better off sticking with them, paying the price and getting the right services, cleanliness and being serious about fitness...

You get what you pay for I guess. Its cheap and a decent place to get some cardio in. Weights and machines are always full but if you really want to use them you can as most of the people here are friendly. My reason for the low review the gym feels like it is literally falling apart. There are holes in walls, wobly and out of service machines, busted soap dispensers and water fountains and just general uncleanliness of the work out area and change rooms. The employees are nice, but I feel the managment does not invest in giving them to tools to do their job.

I went there, to check the place out since its very close and the membership fee is very affordable. People were getting registered, many on the machines working out peacefully, I asked for a tour which I got right away from a manager , very large and comfortable place with many amenities which I feel is important to check out before someone signs up for a year. I like it alot so I am signing up from Aug 1st because by then they said they will have classes starting like Zumba, toning etc, also have a basketball court! Long hours, a complementary fitness consultation, take a different friend everytime you go to workout for free, take classes, get day care for kids if you need, price is right(VIP Membership) -what the hell else can the most discerning client want! Looking forward!!

Their phone message says they reopened in July...but there's no option to speak to someone at a desk. It plays you the "we're opening soon cAnT wAIT tO sEe YoU" message and the call disconnects. Even despite all these horrid reviews, I wanted to try and come back in because this gym is conveniently close to me and I'd been going here for years pre-covid. Their lack of service settles it. Another long term customer gone ????

As soon as I’m done getting my money back from this company I am refusing to go back there or recommend to any of my friends or family. They have no customer service and there’s no way to communicate with them at all. They continue to charge their customers when the gym never even opened since Covid started they charge you more than maintenance fee and it does not even make sense why they’re even charging for maintenance, and there’s literally nothing to maintain in a closed gym. When you call them their voicemail says that we have put your membership on hold even though that’s a lie. They continue to charge you for absolutely no reason and as if you are getting money from trees. This is our hard earned money and they think that they have right over it. I would never recommend anyone to go to this gym ever again. I’m gonna to fight for my money back for the entire year since Covid started. And I would recommend to report them to city of Brampton. I didn’t just try to contact the Brampton location I tried to contact every location in Ontario and still no response.
