This place is filthy dirty. I used to like it but it has changed. Not sure if it's under new ownership but it seriously needs a deep clean from the gym floors, bathrooms and even the rubber plates have a disgusting film on them. So disappointed. Time for my money to go to another gym that maintains cleanliness.

They are like a fam to me! Everybody there is on a positive vibe. You come there not just for your body gains, but for increasing your mood as well! I absolutely love workout their! Brent will push you out of your limit! With him You forget you could not do something. You also will be surprised how heavy you can lift, bench, press... Don will put you in some crazy yoga pose, teach you how to stretch all of your muscles before and after workout, workout with you and make you laugh non stop. Janie and Amber will answer all of your questions and give you all support you need.

My daughter and I joined September 2018 (I think it was). We cannot tell you how much we loved being able to go.....any time. I personally like going to the gym when all of the other gyms are closed (I am on the road meeting with my clients so this works for me); so this facility suited us perfectly. We had to stop going for a couple of months due to illness but can't wait to get back at it. Everyone just does their own thing but it feels friendly at the same time. Lots of equipment to choose from and if you are in the mood to take a class.....they have a program for that. They also have personal trainers on site that you can book and utilize. I have tried other gyms but am really happy with this gym.

Came here twice to see the manager. She's supposed to be here but according to his staff she has stepped out. I asked the staff to notify her. They called and she said she will be back at 1:30pm. I asked them to let her know that I will come back at 2pm to meet . Its 2:42 now. Been sitting here waiting for her. Still waiting... :(

The club refuses to cancel my membership. I visited the club in February to cancel my membership but was given wrong information about how if I pause the membership it is the same thing and I won't be charged anything until I decide to resume working out in the future. At that time to pause the membership I had to pay following months payment. Then I see my bank account in June a payment of $40 is taken out and when I visited the gym location to ask why was I charged this amount I was informed this was the maintenance fee for the gym and all members have to pay it. When I informed the person, (same person who gave me the wrong information) he tells he I have to come either on Tuesday /Friday to cancel it. I don't even live in Brampton anymore I have since moved to Windsor. Any they continue to charge $20 biweekly payment. I had to give then 1 star just to give my review that they don't deserve.

Beware when it comes to canceling your membership the owner is not honorable at all, even with abundant notice in writing. Owner claims not to receive emails and several phone calls the owner says he's right. NO customer service skills, hangs up on you and out right lies to you, make sure you have everything in writing and well documented because you will need it. Paul was totally unprofessional to deal with, thank God for the visa disputes dept! If I did something wrong Visa would not be supporting my dispute. I have read similar reviews from others who have been through the same unfortunate experience with you Paul. Hopefully you will treat your customers better in the future.

These are very hard working caring coaches and a good place to meet friends. I had a problem walking. I had a knee replacement and 6 months physio at a different lace. When my physio ended I still struggled. My coach Tammy was full of spunk and energy. She helped me stay focused and with training I was walking with out my cane I went from. Someone struggling to walk to walking daily around the block & walking 30 - 45 min 3 days a week on a tree mill. I also learned dieting tips. Great friendly place . They have tanning beds , a water no touch body message, weight lifting equipment rowing machines and much much more. Check it out.

I've been going to this location since the day they opened! All the staff are very personable and you don't get the douchey "we don't need your business" big time gym vibes like in other chains. I've never once felt judged or like I'm bothering anybody and they have been super helpful with holding my account while I travel for a few months. Best bang for your buck in Brantford by far!

I was one of the founding members of Anytime Fitness Brantford. Over the years I can say the gym has given me a drive towards fitness and one membership opens the doors to a number of others. 24/7/365 world access. The Brantford Gym has all your basic equipment and weight selections. Can add on personal training and small group training for an extra fee and per training cost. Offers hydro massage and tanning also for an added cost per month. Doesn't offer instructor lead classes but does have over 200 virtual classes to choose from. All in all its a nice gym with the basics but offers you the 24/7/365 access. With that said when cancelling your membership you need to follow up with the gym as payments continue to be withdrawn after the agreed upon last payment dates!

Despite the gym being fairly good, the management is terrible. They stated I could only cancel my membership by coming into the gym at their designated hours. I thought it was odd because other locations offer to send a membership cancellation via email. I came into the gym before work at 9AM and waited for an HOUR. Their concept of punctuality is a joke and Samantha (the person providing the information about how to cancel) did not respond at all. Anytime fitness literally forced me to be late for work and yet they couldn't even keep their promise. They should really revise their policy to send membership forms via email not to waste anyone's time.

Great experience in this gym. Friendly staff and excellent selection of equipment. Upstairs area for secluded boxing and stretching is key. Individual washrooms make for a spa like feel. Would highly recommend giving this place a try.

I've been going here for some YEARS now and I can't give this gym a rating below 5 stars. Great gym and a great staff and great people come here as well. Always clean and has everything you need for powerlifting, bodybuilding, and the upstairs section is great for athletic training. I find this gym very small and private and I always find what I need here whenever I need it. Not short of any accessory equipment either.

I returned to AnyTime, primarily due to train with old friends that have the same mindset as I do. Would recommend, little tip: pay per year.

I've tried a bunch of gyms in Brantford and have never been able to actually feel comfortable or stick to any. So this spring, I signed up for Anytime Fitness. And wow, what an absolute difference! Immediately when you walk in, it is extremely clean and the atmosphere is just a lot more comfortable than any other gym I've been to. The staff are genuinely very caring, and I always feel welcome there. Even though I tend to stick to myself during my workouts, it still feels like my own little workout family when I go in. Highly recommend! (And they offer personal training with the sweetest, most intense personal trainers I've ever seen!)

They wouldn't tell me about membership prices until I was in the door on a tour, and the number of spam calls I received after giving them my phone number has skyrocketed. If you're interested, go visit them in person. Otherwise it's high risk and low reward. Went with another gym.

It's been 2 years since my last review and here's an update: I still love this place. The staff are all amazing, the club is always clean and the atmosphere is always positive. They're doing everything they can right now to keep it safe for everyone. This is the first gym that I've stuck with long-term after trying multiple before I found this one. It's a great community and I couldn't be happier with the club :)

I started coming here july last summer from L.A fitness. We were intrigued by the add saying NO CONTRACT, NO SIGN UP but it was too good to be true. It was no contract if you paid around 100+$ and no sign up fee if stayed for a year. We choose to just go there for a year. The gym itself is fine, but can be dirty & it gets musty in there fast especially during summer. For some reason, I realized that they randomly stopped taking my payments. I called to see what was going on but I was too late. They said, I had insufficient funds for one payment, and just sent my account to collections. 4 months deep. I never had a call or email stating this case, therefore I never knew, and the interest just kept adding up. Now I owe 180$ to collections (since when do you send an account to collections for that little amount). I'm just glad I found that out before the amount got even higher. I have seen the manager get sketched out and follow people coming in asking for their fob as if someone getting caught stealing at a store & other people saying the staff didn't do their job because he treats them bad. But honestly other than that, its powerlifting friendly which is pretty awesome but I'm better off just going to a 24/7 goodlife. Its 20.34$ biweekly, and for what you are getting, might as well just go to L.A or if you extra money go to goodlife. If you are new to working out, its a good place to go because most ppl there don't know what they're doing lol.

Heed the warnings about thoroughly reading the contract, don't rely on the staff to honestly explain it to you. We signed up for a one year contract - turns out they automatically renew every year and are nearly impossible to cancel. Had trouble a few months with our fees being withdrawn twice as well and every time we tried to sort it out, we were bounced back and forth between the gym and their payment company who kept saying we had to contact the other to fix it. Every time we went, the sanitizing wipe stations were constantly empty and at least one bathroom was always out of service, while the others were often dirty. There are many cheaper options out there or better yet, find a gym that lets you pay per visit so you aren't stuck in a contract.

This gym has a big weight lifting room, a group fitness room, and few unisex washroom. It is open 24 hours which makes it perfect for people who does shift work. I have used this gym on a 10 days trial to see if i like it. As i prefer a gym with gymnasium or swimming pool, i didn't get a membership here. However, If your goal is weight-lifting and you do not have time to workout during the day/evening, this will be perfect gym for you.

Dirty... broken machines that go weeks without being fixed. Went into the same washroom 2 days in a row and saw the same freshly shaved hairs on the shower floor... gross... some of the personal trainers are great, but really no idea how this place stays in buisness

I checked out other fitness centers with reservation, and then met with the Manager of Anytime Fitness. I felt it was the right fit. However, I have been dismissed after many attempts to have an urgent matter resolved. I have been billed for 6 months, even though I paid in full. This is unaceptable and my trust has been misplaced.

I was in Brampton for a week, and was looking for a gym to attend. This gym had amazing reviews, so I reached out to them via email to see if they had guest pass - I received a confirmation from Daniella, the manager, offering a 7 day pass for $20, which was great. She asked when I would be interested in checking out the facilities and I told her the following week in the afternoon. She never confirmed receipt, but I headed there when I had arrived. After I got there, I pressed the buzzer but no one came to the front door - there was a note instructing visitors to call their office in case no one answered the buzzer. I stood outside for about 20mins to no avail. I sent an email to Daniella before I left the premises, she has not responded to my email to this day.

Staff are very friendly and I kid you not know everyone in the gym so when you’re in the gym, trainers always say hello which just makes me feel even more welcome. Tried to cancel my membership a month before the year was up which they said I had one more month so I waited, but when I went today to cancel I'm informed that I didnt cancel soon enough that it "takes 30 days" and have to pay for another month after the year even though I tried to cancel the month before!!!! Totally ridiculous! I guess technically you're signing up for a year and a month with these rules. I didnt even use the facility the last 6 months and its $50 a month. What a joke of an owner. I hope your business fails just like you did with your customer service.

I have been a member of anytime fitness for about 4 months now and I have been impressed with the professionalism of the staff and dedication to keeping their gym functioning during the pandemic. While others have been disappointed that their gyms shutdown and were not willing to put in extra effort to stay open, Anytime Fitness came through for its dedicated clientele. If your planning on going to this gym, beware if you ever want to cancel your membership (no contract) you may only do so Tuesday 9-5 or Friday 9-3, to fill out paper. They don't care if you have a job and expect you to miss work. How unfair is that. The manager never returned my call for over 3 months and when I went in on Monday during business hours, he refused to help me cancel my membership, told me to come back on those special days during the special times. Nobody at this gym cares or ever returns countless emails or phone calls and then they wonder why a customer is irate. I would NOT recommend this specific anytime location to anyone!

I join this location and was paying monthly. The owner debited my credit card for an additional payment for new equipment with out my consent. Do not go to this gym or just pay the full amount up front. But base on recent reviews the place smells bad and the customer is not good.☹️

Been having a horrible experience with this gym. Payments keep getting taken out of my bank account while the gym is shut down ?? This has happened multiple times. I advised the staff to cancel my membership. I know business must be tuff with Covid but that doesn’t mean you keep charging my bank account for a membership I can’t even use ?? Worst part this happened 4 separate occasions now. The gyms Instagram page is down (I wonder why ). Been a member at this gym for more than 5 years just a shame.

Hands down the best gym in town!! From day one they make you feel part of the team,push you harder than you think you can go. I was worried about the sanitization post pandemic while joining a gym. I do not recommend this gym to anyone, I signed up in December for a membership. Two months later I am only living in Brandon part time. I inquired about cancelling my membership and it took about 10 phone calls and 4 emails before they would get back to me. Just to find out that I can’t get out of the contract or I have to pay it out in full which was 500+. Very poor experience. Will never recommend to anyone. B*llsh*t.

I wish I could give this a zero. I gave them feedback on having enough staff around to ask questions or inquire about things happening at the club. Had the manager literally say to me "So what? Do you also want us to stand at the door and welcome you?" Moved away for business so I put account on hold because the employees are horrible but the gym is pretty good. When I came back into the country I was relocated to a different city. I had the manager tell me I had to come in person to cancel between 1pm-4pm on Tuesdays or 9am-12pm on Fridays. I work a 9-5 and I refuse to take time out of work to cancel a membership that I now have to pay an additonal 2 months of despite the fact that i have been a member for TWO WHOLE YEARS. essentially said "too bad" by saying "it's policy." And till this day I still receive charges. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. I would rather pay your first month at ANY OTHER GYM. Fit for less is a pretty good comparison and SO much easier to cancel. Their staff is friendlier and you know... you could actually reach them in person or on the phone. This is definitely not me trying to pitch for fit for less as I don't even go to the that gym but I urge you to look elsewhere. the amount of money to get out of this mess isn't worth the 10 minute drive to go to this gym.

The staff is all very friendly and super positive, very helpful and lots of great advice and insight. The atmosphere here is amazing, you can go in do your thing and leave feeling great!! The gym is very clean and that’s a major plus!! Right from my first visit Paul made everything super easy and I love love love love my personal trainer, I was unsure of going with one but Tammy is 10 stars!! She pushes you to where you need to be pushed(no more n no less) she does it all with fun and positivity!! This gym and staff!! is going to get me back on my healthy level!! Glad I chose this gym!!

I've been going to Anytime Fitness since spring 2015, its only been a short period of time but it feels like a second home to me. Every team member that works at this location is awesome, always so nice and always there to help. The best thing about Anytime Fitness is the challenges that they create, it gives you motivation to work harder and be a better you. As a member who's been at Anytime Fitness for around four months, I have really enjoyed my experience so far. The staff is always friendly, and they keep the space very clean. It feels like a family there, and even the members are nice. I also really like how you can book a time whenever you want. They are more personal than bigger gyms which is a plus, and with your membership you get either 3 free sessions with a personal trainer of 10 free group sessions which is awesome for beginners.

Horrible gym, managers are disgustingly cruel. Family member was sick and I tried cancelling ONE day AFTER the 10-day cancellation policy. Alexi was his name, didn't help at all, didn't care and provided a fake email in which no one responded to. One year was over and they kept charging my account, waited over 2 weeks and 3 work days to see a girl named Daniella (horrible manager) to cancel because of their stupid policies. This is one of the nicest gyms that I have been to. I have been a member for almost 5 years now. It has high quality exercise equipment and the people are really nice, friendly and humble. A really positive environment to be working out in and the hours are excellent. It is conveniently located with plenty of parking. The club is clean and well maintained. The washrooms are spotless. There are plenty of lockers for use during your workouts. The management staff are excellent and very professional in their interactions. They address issues right away and they keep the exercise equipment is great working condition and organized. You will never find a broken piece of exercise equipment. I strongly suggest checking this place out if you are in the area. You will not regret it.

Terrible staff. The Mexican looking bald guy with a beard and a hoodie who works there thinks he owns the gym and everyone around him. Everytime I walk in, he asks me for my name as if I'm a criminal. Then I overhear him talking smack to his coworker about me saying that "some people just enter the gym without a membership". I had a 1 year contract with anytime fitness and I didn't renew it after it ended. This gym is so small! It has no change rooms. How can a gym have no change rooms?? and they don't have separate washrooms for men and women, nasty! Their washrooms are old and dirty and need to be renovated! Every time I went into the washroom, I found it dirty! During 4:30-7pm, the gym is so full. No space for working out, waste of time if you go there during those hours. Nothing special about this gym, other gyms offer 24 hour access too. The contracts (paid biweekly or monthly) are AUTO-RENEWED. Since I didn’t want to renew the contract, they made me pay 2 EXTRA biweekly payments even though my contract is over! No joke, I was told by the manager that my club access will stop the day after the 2nd last payment. That means 4 weeks of no access to the gym. But after ABC Financial called anytime fitness on my behalf, my last day is after 2 weeks of my last payment, as it should be. They make it so difficult to cancel the contract. If you want to cancel the contract, you'll have to pay about $85 fee! And you have to meet them in person on either Tuesday or Friday during working hours to cancel the contract. There are better and CHEAPER gyms around the area! Save your money and DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM! I would never recommend this gym to anyone! Hope this review helped!

I have always been a member here at the Hurontario Location. The customer service is fantastic because they will always work with you to find the best solution to any questions. The gym has everything you need and always keeps the place clean. There are sanitation stations all throughout the facility to ensure the equipment can be wiped down before and after use. Honestly, staff here are amazingly energetic and personable. They’re truly committed to getting people inspired and active wish I had more time to feed on that and been more committed. Also the gym was sparkling clean anytime I went! I've been coming here for a week now and I love it and will be coming back. I read the comments before I went and I really don't know which gym you complainers went too. I experienced great customer service from the staff and owner. Whenever I call he answers the phone, sometimes I call 5 times cause i have different questions, and he was extremely patient and understanding. With all that is going on in the world right now, I feel safe coming here, I see the staff and members wearing masks and constantly cleaning and putting things away properly. I had to call their head office on the owners of this gym for harassment and they said they have had plenty complaints about these people. DO NOT GO HERE!!

I would give 0 stars if I could. The worst gym I have ever been to. The place is constantly a mess and the owner is the most arrogant POS I have ever met. Go anywhere but here. Seriously, the 2 star rating it has is much too high. Avoid at all costs.
