Told staff to cancel my family plan on end of January. I was told an 8-week cancellation policy. I said okay and confirmed. However, Motion still charges me when they resume service in May/June. Luckily, my credit card expired in April. And they didn't notice me until August. I tried to communicate. They told me I only removed one member out of the family plan, not the entire plan. What a joke!!! They never admit their fault or error possibly made by staff, not even a little bit, and just ascribe all responsibilities to the custumer. And now they are sending bills to collection agency. Can't take this anymore. They just RIPPING YOU OFF.

Nice place they have recently opened this location. I just finish a great workout. First time here. So many machines and equipment, everything you need is there. Staff was great with a tour before working out. If you want to workout in a nice gym this is the place to be.

This past summer I signed up for a 3 month free membership which I was charged for. I went in at the end of August and confronted them for the charges and the owner yelled at me and called me a liar. I then cancelled my membership and signed some paperwork to only find out the paper work was for a promotion not a cancellation and they rushed me through it telling me to trust them that it was for a cancellation and continued to yell at me. It is now 6 months later after I initially cancelled my membership and they continued to charge me for it and I called them and they say they have no record of me cancelling my membership. This gym has made me have trust issues with gyms now and I am now scared to get memberships anywhere since I realized they can continue to charge you or refuse to let you cancel your membership.

went in for my membership cancellation and they said to wait 10 minutes while they sort it out, umm sort what out? I waited 10 minutes and they said they couldn't help. over the past 10 months I have been charged over 150 dollars.

Brighton Motion Fitness childcare has been amazing at accommodating our childcare needs! The staff take the time to connect with each child and provide them age appropriate activities and crafts to occupy the time spent in childcare. They truly go above and beyond to help make your coveted gym time a convenient experience when you have kids in tow. The facility itself has such friendly staff and is extremely well cared for and clean. Definitely recommend!

Me and my family joined Motion Fitness since we moved in Brighton. So far we love it not only because this is one of the largest and the best fitness centres in Saskatchewan but the manager and the staff are very nice and helpful. Brand new location with a lot of a new equipment and good trainers. Very good childcare which is very helpful. Very clean and very well-maintained place.????????

You have been charging me for almost a year even tho I have not set foot in your gym since that time. I have tried in vain to call you guys and everytime im told to leave a message for the manager I never ever get a call back. There comes a point where you should stop charging or maybe call me back to discuss. Like a lot of people my household lost jobs tru covid and its morally wrong to keep charging people for a service they could not afford and don't use! And please do not respond telling me to contact member service email.

It's very conveniently located at the Brighton Commons. HUGE location, ample amenities for a gym ! Reasonably priced, no contractual obligation. Group classes that are first come first serve. An app that you can use to track your progress. Open 24 hours! What else do you need ?

Great new location. Workers are always working hard to clean surfaces and avoid being near or in your space while you're working out. Everyone is friendly and polite. Theyre doing a good job maintaining physical distance protocols during covid economic reactivity. Unfortunately an individual that tested positive entered who was asymptomatic. Because of their system and protocols all persons who may have been present at the same time were notified and it did not spread beyond the individual. I feel safe attending this public space because of their cleaning protocols.

Please note the cancelation request is 60 days not 30!! I have never heard of anything like this, it is obviously a tactic used to rope you in to payments. They claim no contracts but still hit you with a ton of fees. Also terrible customer service.

A message to the CEO of motion fitness, “ To keep customers, you have to give them the freedom to leave.” To cancel my membership, it does not mean I won’t come back. But if I find I cannot cancel the membership for another 3 month, I am sure I won’t come back forever.

Based on what I have experienced so far at Brighton Motion Fitness I give the gym a conditional 5 stars. It’s not yet 100% complete. Still waiting for benches in the locker room among other areas to be completed. Boot and shoe area have ample room compared with Nelson. Building is nice and spacious, lots of equipment and new equipment besides what was at the Nelson location. Tried the steam and sauna and was impressed. 6 showers in the men’s area so no waiting for a shower that happened at Nelson during peak times. Lock mechanism on lockers is mechanical, easy to see numbers and easy to use. Depending on the time of the day and if there are no clouds in the sky you may need sunglasses or a baseball cap to prevent being blinded by the sun if you want to use the few machines by the windows. Was told the windows will be tinted at some point. Great parking as well!

We joined Motion because of the amazing childcare staff. It doesn’t get better than this group of women who take care of the kiddos while we workout. Childcare is open fantastic hours, and the staff are super creative in finding fun things for the kids to do. They always come home with a cool craft or a story about a fun game they played. Our kids have gone since they were six weeks old - and we’ve had nothing but great experiences. The older kids look forward to “gym” days. Best around!

Nice to be back at the gym. They have a lot of precautions in place to ensure social distancing and cleaning agents for everyone to use before and after they are done with the equipment. As long as people do their part, clean their equipment, use sanitizer and stay home when feeling sick, it should be all good. Waiting for the next phase for use of the lockers, and steam room.

The manager and staff are wonderful and very approachable if you have any questions or concerns. They are always working hard to make sure everything is clean and sanitized. Due to Covid, they have very reasonable rules and guidelines in place for everyone's safety and it's great to see all members following along. Very spacious and a large variety of new machines to use. They are also open 24/7 which is great. Highly recommend the Brighton location!

Beware the 6 week cancellation policy. The gym brags no terms but not matter when you choose to cancel they will take an extra 3 payments from your account. A term might be better because you could sign up and then end your contract when your term is up. They will also offer you “free holds” on your account when something like COVID happens so you don’t cancel your account when they can’t charge you while they’re closed but then you miss a window of opportunity to leave and not pay for the 6 weeks.

It is written in the contract I signed when joining this gym that I could cancel my membership at “anytime.” So I chose to cancel on May 8th by writing. Due to Covid 19 I wasn’t able to cancel and start my 60 day cancellation period. I went in June 8th to cancel as soon as they reopened. Then I’m told I would receive a credit for the fee they took out prior to closing in March (okay I’m cool with that) But all of this only to find that they charged my account this week. Customer service is second to none.

Members and staff are great but so many classes have been eliminated over the past two years. Now a days no gym class on Friday after 5 for people who work till 5. I have been a member for 5 years but “no thank you” anymore. I need options and if I pay more then when I started being a member I expect at least the same service.
