I was super impressed with the quality and variety of equipment in the store during Covid. Gordon really takes his store to heart, gives excellent customer service and answered all my questions about the equipment and the brand in general. I walked out with a heavy duty Air Bike that will serve my clients and I for years to come. I have received exceptionally poor customer service. I ordered over two weeks and was told when I ordered shipping would 1-3 business days. Here we are two weeks later and I received nothing. I was told it would be shipping out shortly a week ago, yet my card was charged the day I ordered. I completely understand we are in unprecedented times that make it difficult for businesses to operate, but that's not an excuse for poor customer service and giving out false information to customers, or conflicting information each time a question is asked. Given the sudden boost in business, one would also think the company would take it upon itself to hire more rather than trying to make more profit while being understaffed in a time like this.

I ordered a couple of stuff for my home gym wayyy before the lockdown and a month and a half after, my order got cancelled and the website did not advise of anything of that sort would happen. BUT I am giving this review a 5 stars because FitnessAvenue listens to it's customers. The website got improved a lot with alert message and there is a customer representative called Sylvia who assisted us all the way. She made sure our issue was resolved. She followed up with us. So despite the company slip up, which happens; what is very important is how they bounce back and adapt to the situation. FitnessAvenue is a model fitness company out there because the customer service remains polite with integrity even when facing angry customers. This cannot be said for many other fitness outlets out there such as Treadmill factory or Fitness depot. I have since shopped at Fitness Avenue more than once and I will keep shopping there. I hope Sylvia gets the proper recognition and reward for her service too. It was outstanding.

Went to pay a visit since I'm building a home gym. Very nice and clean show room for you to take a look at all the equipment. Picked up a cage rack and placed the rest of my order online since the warehouse in Ontario has the rest of the equipment that I needed. Because of the impacts of Covid-19 (increase in demand for their products and reduced production capacity from their supplier), the inventory of the store in Longueuil isn't great, but they do their best to accommodate their customer. Don't expect to be able to leave with a demo item if you're friendly enough with the staff, as the store would be empty in a week if everybody were to do that. Their online store has decent inventory and from my experience, they ship their orders fairly quickly.

Made an order over 3 weeks ago. Item was NOT on backorder when ordered. Back then, website said 4-8 business days of processing. We got expedited shipping (1 day) to get it faster. Still 3 weeks later, nothing. Website soon switched to 5-10 business days. Now it says 10-15 business days without letting customers who bought know what's happening with their order. A new piece of info says (in one of their automated replies to our many emails) they will ship *typically* 10 days after a label was created. We received by email that it was created on April 5. Still, two weeks later and more than 10 days (and even business days) later, and nothing at all. They don't even bother picking up. I understand in these COVID times, things are challenging, but the level of professionalism and customer service that has been showed by Fitness Avenue is beyond abysmal. Very disappointing...

Waited 5 months so I finally called them to learn that 2x they sold my equipement to other people. Also they never called to let me know my equipement was in. When I finally saw that they were open during covid-19, they never called to tell me I could go a pick my equipement, was finally able to get hold of somebody today May 30 to finally being told well we are to busy to contact people to pick up, if no one pick up or contacts us we sell to other people. Those are already paid for equipment, they dont contact the owner to let him know it as arrive. No professionalism at all from the company. It's a joke. Waithing for my refund I am guessing its gana take a few years before I see that money again. Also for information my equipement arrive the day befor the covid-19 closed all stores. They never bother calling when they reopen so I could go pick it up just sold it.
