This Gym belongs to the category of Gym.
Large amount of equipment and great staff, love the yoga teacher
Equipment is dated and gym charges premium rates for a subpar club.
Clean Friendly. I did some personal training with Nick who was patient and knowledgeable. He helped get me on track to recover from some injuries when Chiro was not helping. Great job team Thanks
Equipment recently got updated & you can find quiet times during the early & late hours.
Love Goodlife! Their fitness classes are top notch. The gym is kept clean and equipment is top notch. Staff are friendly and outgoing. It's a pleasure being a member
I first became a member at GoodLife Fitness in Belleville in 2004. My experience with the people in this club has been nothing short of life altering. It took some time, support from GoodLife staff and fellow members, and lots of hard work, but I ended up losing 130lbs of fat and I've kept practically all of it off for almost 10 years. I have personally used the services of several of the Personal Trainers, who are very knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and genuinely care about helping people to reach their health and fitness goals. Not only do they care, but the best part is that people actually do achieve their goals here. Group fitness classes were also a huge part of my weight loss and maintenance, and the instructors in Belleville are among the very best. My experience with GoodLife Fitness in Belleville was so positive that a few years ago I left a career in a different industry and became a manger with GoodLife, and I can say that not only is it the best fitness facility in Belleville, with the best people to help you reach your goals, but it is also the best work environment I have ever been a part of. Whether you're looking to change your life in terms of your fitness, or in terms of your career, I can say without question that you won't regret getting started at GoodLife Fitness in Belleville.
I really like this gym and I want to give it more stars but there is one personal trainer and she is so loud and obnoxious.... it's hard to concentrate on a workout when she is always yelling. Can't she talk in a lower tone the whole gym doesn't need to hear her.
Good mix of cardio, machines, free weights and classes. If you belong to a professional organization chances are you get a deal here. Not fully accessible to both floors. Open 24 hours 365 days a year. They have Olympic platforms and racks. There is a women's only section upstairs. They have done quite a few renovations in recent years which were needed. Overall decent gym.
Goodlife is ok.
Helpful staff, good selection of equipment and hours, just be careful when signing up as it's much like a cellphone contract and they change you mercilessly if you cancel early.
Friendly staff, well-maintained machines and recently refinished.
This place is unreal, writing this as 3 idiots think they’re having a strongman comp. clearly they are (new Canadians). To be p.c. They throwing dumbbells around and recording themselves. While sizing me up? The lady downstairs needs to wake up and do something, anything. I’ve been coming here for about a year. I’ve been to goodlifes all throughout Ontario while travelling for work. This is by far the worst. Careful of the sharps bins sustanon, Decca, needles to the to the top, constantly. Steroids seem to be out of control in the Belleville area.
Big gym with lots of equipment. Nice staff. Would be nice to have towels though.
Decent GoodLife! Happy that the hours are still great even during holidays. One issue is that all squat racks face mirrors, you arent able to squat facing the other way. Very tidy
I have been working out regularly here since the end of August 2019. I'm really enjoying the atmosphere, friendly staff, and an awesome personal trainer. The classes are fun too!
Needs cleaning
I have always had a great experience @ the Belleville location, the staff there are just excellent, they are always very friendly and super helpful. It’s a great location located right at the mall so you can get a work out in and then go strut your stuff around and be turning heads everywhere. Man, sometimes I hit it up then bounce over to Boston Pizza looking fine as hell and walk over to catch a movie with the energy to stay awake through it. Man, some of these movies today are so boring have me nodding off at the third car commercial. Dude, you every have the movie place staff wake you up and you start swinging like “Get Away from my Popcorn”. Anyways I wanna look like the Hulk really bad so I am in there homie putting work in. They keep the place nice and clean, always be smelling good in there. No mildew or nothing. Anyways you gotta get in there to get that body looking good for the summer time. Never worry though we all beautiful baby!!
awesome
I love that this has both a coed and women's only. Great staff and great play room for my little one.
I love this Goodlife location! Despite its lack of towel service, which i don't understand why, it's still among my favorite locations. Waiting is rare even at peak hours and the amenities are on point including tanning, massage chairs and of course all the equipment and classes expected at Goodlife
Weird layout but typical in a mall. Everything you need, staff going around and cleaning I believe. Some staff is super friendly and great, makes up for those that lack customer service skills.
Great Gym. They keep renovating to stay ahead of the game. Very free and accessible, which is nice during these covid times
Great gym, probably the worst location in the city to have one though
Go to planet fitness across the road , it's cheaper and no judgment zone
Workout
this isn't my home gym but every time I visit my family I go here, and all the staff members are so so welcoming! You could tell that members checking in were pleased to see them, it's a good atmosphere.
(Translated) Clean place and new or very well maintained equipment! (Original) Propre endroit et équipements neuf ou tres bien entretenu!
Great place to workout and friendly staff members. My only concern is this branch closes at 6pm during weekends. Weekends are the only time we get to workout for longer time. Hoping to see some changes in the weekend timings.
Not like some other locations. Don't forget your own soap and shampoo as the dispensers are often empty. Not many amenities for the standard Goodlife rates
Everyone at goodlife is SO friendly and caring. It's awesome that there is a women's only section, definitely makes me feel more comfortable and less self conscious while working out. Lots of equipment available for use and being able to do the virtual work out classes is awesome.
Decent gym, but lack of towel service is a huge minus.
The trainers here a great. All the staff are very welcoming and encouraging to everyone. There is just a really good atmosphere here.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Good Life Fitness in Belleville , On. I found all staff to be friendly, very knowledgeable and always proactive with everyone.. I feel however it necessary to mention Michelle Callam, a personal trainer at Good Life Belleville. Michelle has been my personal trainer for several months. She had me on a corrective maintenance program to better my posture, which has plagued me throughout my life. After recently having appointments with my chiropractor and massage therapist. They made mention to the dramatic improvement in my overall posture. This was a huge boost to my self esteem. I would like to thank Michelle for her perseverance throughout my training, researching information, explaining step by step what we were doing and how It would have a positive impact on my overall well being. This was only a few of the many things she did for me. I'm now considering the year long program with Michelle, in the not to distant future. In closing, Id like to thank the staff at Good Life, for providing an outstanding facility, in which an individual can truly feel at home and a place, that has had a positive impact in my life.
Great gym
Goodlife Belleville has been doing a fantastic job since re-opening! No matter what time of day I visit, the club is spotless and there is ALWAYS someone cleaning and maintaining the common areas and equipment. All the staff are doing a wonderful job making their members feel safe and welcome Keep up the great work!!
Those of you who focus on weight-lifting Will find that there are more than enough free-weights, machines, squat racks and most importantly more than one bench-press available. All equipment is clean and in working order for the most part. Gym gets really busy on Mondays as any other gym, but there are lots of options for workouts so usually it’s not a problem. Cannot comment on cardio equipment or classes since I do not use them, but there seems to be lots available. Those of you who are in military will be happy to find out that there is a military rate available, ask the front desk for more details. In terms of comparison between the CFB Trenton base gym, it’s worth the money to switch to this facility, especially if you live in Belleville. One thing that I really did not like is that on one occasion as I walked into the gym, there were staff (Most likely forced) giving out gifts but they wanted all of my friends phone numbers so they can call and recruit Male changing room is way too small and it gets crowded in there. Also, there are only two toilets in male change room.
The instructors at this gym are extremely helpful, as well as the equipment is easy to find what you need when you need it. All weights are returned to racks on a regular basis and in a couple months the equipment is supposed to be updated as well, which I will re review when that time comes
A little under equipped, and changing rooms are small for the rate, however the staff is friendly and the gym atmosphere is good. Good gym overall from my personal experience. Empty comparing to other gyms especially when you visit during the early or late hours.
Great gym, better than I expected to find in Belleville. The massage chair is great after a workout!
My favorite gym by far, well worth the cost!!
N8ce gym
Great facility! Love the turf zone especially. A-Plus location except for: No towel service and staff are not professional or welcoming. The 3 female managers were very catty and immature but it is getting better since new management took over.
Good gym. Clean and polite staffs. Steeve
@sauna is not working” . Belleville goodlife is the worst goodlife centre as compared to other Goodlife in Ontario. Sauna is broken from last 6 months and they are not sure when they gonna fix it. Really ? Waiting for a permission from quinte mall from last 6 months ? I think they just don’t want to fix up as they need cleaning staff as well. This place is a big joke. good thing about this place is staff. They all are awesome.
Update sauna is still broken, this place is a joke. It's been down for 4 months, China can build 2 hospitals in 10 days, GoodLife can fix a sauna in a year. Original post. It would be nice if you could fix your sauna. You've had the entire pandemic. Also the club hrs should return to normal. I heard you don't have the staffing. Hire a cleaning company and get on with it.
My go-to spot after work Love the relaxing massage chairs after a good workout
Went a requested my membership to be cancelled OVER A YEAR AGO!!!! Only to find out they were still charging me. DON'T GO, unless you want your money stolen from you. Like they just did to me, not even to give me half a year back. GOODLIFE FITNESS IS ARE CROOKS.
They don't treat people nicely here be prepared to have a stressful time if you make a mistake with the rules.
Amazing gym and team!!
The staff are very unprofessional. “Everyone Welcome” more like everyone judged and talked about... Like nightmares of a bad high school.
Even though it is new, there are a lot of problems with this gym that management doesn't seem to address. No towel service is a pain. The change rooms are not very well kept. Weight room has a terrible layout. Boot room is a terrible mess in the winter.
Goodlife Fitness in Belleville is by far the best gym in town. The environment is unreal and the staff are supportive and friendly. I made the mistake of cancelling once and made it only 1 week before signing back up, Goodlife has become like a second home. Super grateful !
One of the cleaner GoodLife gyms I have been in. Well organized and never seems too busy.
This is the first google review I have ever completed, and it is being written in order to help prevent any of you reading from going through the same experience. About one month ago I was suspended from this location, and after a couple discussions with management (whom I believe under the circumstances handled the situation with some competence), was told the reasons for this. Before reading on, understand that i was given no warnings about suspensions. Also, for the record I have never been suspended (or anything remotely close to that), from another gym in my life. First incident: I refused to dawn a mask when passing through the front gate. Fair enough, quite honestly as a business owner myself, it could be mandated to wear green hats to enter, or anything else. That is free enterprise. However, as an adult I quite honestly find it humiliating, and an insult to my intelligence to be expected to wear a mask when walking through the front door, then proceeding to remove said mask for the entire duration of my workout. Covid skepticism aside, from a purely antiviral stewardship and prevention standpoint this practise is laughable. Regardless, that was my first and last mask violation at this gym. Second incident: My girlfriend (who lives with during the week in Belleville), was refused entry to the gym because her original goodlife she signed up for in Toronto was closed. This was a few weeks into the two of us using the gym in Belleville multiple times per week, so clearly the computer should have registered that history. Upon discussion with the girl at the front counter, we were told that she needs ID to change her home gym location to Belleville. No problem, my girlfriend showed her health card, and passport and was still refused. The girl at the front desk said it needs to be her licence, and the license needs to have a Belleville location and if it doesn't, the only way to get in to the gym was to change the address on her license from Newmarket. Excuse me? To work out my girlfriend needs to change her license... never have I or any of my numerous friends with goodlife memberships been asked for this. Not only that, the email from goodlife when my girlfriends Toronto goodlife was closed said feel free to come in to any goodlife to reactivate your membership, nothing said a licence with a Belleville address would be required. Needless to say this was irritating, so without raising my voice or swearing I simply asked the girl at the counter to repeat what she was saying while I voice record what she is saying. This was listed as an incident... for being "rude" to staff. Imagine that, something entirely subjective. Moving on Incident three: drinking from a water fountain that was still running. I kid you not. Apparently bottles are ok to fill there, but cupping water in one hand to have a sip is not. The woman from incident one had started following me around the gym whenever we were both there at this point. This is to the point of cleaning machines beside me while I worked out. One time she came up to me and told me not to put down the weights loud (I was using bumper plates on the deadlift platform). This woman was obsessed. The manager told me there is a sign that says so no fountain without a bottle, and regardless of whether or not that makes any sense from an antiviral perspective.. does goodlife honestly expect people to read every single sign during the middle of a workout lest they be given a written incident report without their knowledge Incident four and five were for not wearing shoes on the treadmill and deadlift platform respectively. Both happened once. Both while the old woman who works there was following me around. World champions train and compete in both running events and deadlift competitions without shoes. Not at goodlife apparently This gym should be renamed mediocrelife in honour of the employees Good gym if you are a beginner, nice machines and clean. Poor gym if you want to train seriously. All is well that ends well anyway... got a refund and now train at an oldschool gym for less $
Great gym and great staff! Always love going to Goodlife Belleville.
Jason Carroll (general manager) is bias and gives preferential treatment to his clients. He has given a paid in full membership refund to a client, well into their membership term, that would not follow the Goodlife rules. However, when requesting the same service for someone that has never broken a rule he would not provide the refund. As stated in the membership contract '1. ... you [the member] will have the right during the term to use the facilities and services'. Since this is no longer available as of September 22, 2021 and goodlife is refusing entry then point 9. in the contract should be followed: 'we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any membership without cause, in which event you will be entitled to a refund only of unused prepaid installments, if any'. Jason Carroll refuses to provide a refund for this case. He did mention on the phone that goodlife was honoring refunds up until 31Aug2021. Why this was not disseminated to all cilents on the email distribution list, in the same manner as all other communications are, shows that this corporation is out to get your money and keep it. Based on the contract alone there are grounds to sue however why would any one single person do this for a couple hundred dollars. And that's why Goodlife will always win.
Since beginning at goodlife I've had a very pleasurable experience. The staff seem very committed to GoodLife's mission to "give everyone the opportunity to live a fit and healthy good life." All the staff members I've met, including the very welcoming and almost always attentive doorstaff, have surpassed any preconceptualizations I may have had regarding my belonging to a franchise gym. I've been very happy with my experience and appreciate the effort the staff makes on a day to day basis. Thanks!
Great goodlife location! Lots of machines and very spacious.
Decent gym. Clean, friendly people and staff, but premium price for a mediocre establishment. Limited services and amenities considering the cost.
