Fabbio and his staff member Rob are super friendly and kind. The gym looks amazing and has an amazing enviorment to make some GAINZ. I bought some weights from him during covid and he was very helpful and understanding to what I was looking for. 12/10 would recommend Finest Fitness to anyone????

The friendliest, modernized indoor/outdoor gym in Barrie! 10/10 recommend!! I feel extremely comfortable coming here rather than any corporate gym I’ve ever been to. Finest Fitness really has a family like atmosphere. I believe I can really achieve my fitness goals here - great price for what is offered: free towel service!!, huge selection of pre work out, protein powder/bars and drinks. Check them out

I recently left a corporate gym to come to Finest Fitness and was immediately super excited about the atmosphere and facility. I was looking for a gym with members who were friendly, ready to work and motivating! This is definitely the place. I love the outdoor space and the fact that I never wait for a rack is a huge bonus! The staff are super friendly and everyone is really encouraging. I've been a member for a month and already have a new PR! If you're looking for a gym to feel comfortable and improve, this is definitely the place! :)

The gyms of fairly high quality but was and has continued to get worse there use to be a sense of community but this has faded with the loss of people over quarantine they gave an excuse that they couldn't just freeze accounts which is unprofessional there is also poor communication with the new times so always check online cause personally I have been givin mixed messages

I travel across Canada for work and I rarely find a gym that accept powerlifting and has plenty of weights. Finest fitness has everything you need from old school to more modern with a nice outdoor squat rack setup. And it's 24/7! Can't go wrong!

Switched from GoodLife with low expectations and planning on just being a summer gym. 3 weeks later I’m now canceling my GoodLife membership , and planning for this gym all year around ! I apologize, this may be a long review. Let me start off by saying I have depression and anxiety. So finding a gym that made me feel comfortable was quite a challenge but the most important thing for me. I had tried other gyms in the city, and some were ok and some were worse than others. Fat shamming, intimidation, so forth and so on. It got to a point where I just didn't go to the gym. I came across the Finest Fitness ads on Instagram and watched them for a few weeks, checked out their posts and finally decided to give them a call. Fabbio was incredible from the first time he picked up the phone. Him and I had set a date and time for me to go in and take a tour and speak with him. When I walked into the gym, it felt different than the others. After speaking with Fab I signed up and got personal training sessions. It's been 7 weeks for me and I have to say, this is hands down the most comfortable I have ever been in a gym. For the first time in my life I feel comfortable being there. I feel like it's built for me. As a man who is obese and has mental health issues this is a HUGE win for me. I can't thank the staff enough for making me feel comfortable every day I go in. Paige, Sam, Andrea, Tye (the best trainer I've ever had, believe that) you lot are incredible. If you're a person who's overweight and nervous about gyms, or just nervous about the whole thing period, take it from a like minded person, you won't regret checking this place out. You can even come up and say hi to me, i'm the fat guy with the bright tattoos. I'll be more than happy to give you more feedback!

There are not enough words to express how much I love this gym. My fitness journey started 6 years ago, I started working out for self love and anxiety combatting reasons. I joined a corporate run gym and stayed there for most of my fitness journey. It wasn’t until this past year where I started losing passion for working out due to the fact that my corporate gym felt more like a fitness and beauty competition than it did like a safe place for me, and because of that I stopped going to the gym I was paying way too much for. I made the switch to finest fitness over a month ago and have already seen so much progress in myself, I genuinely can’t wait to get to the gym and be greeted by friendly staff who remember my name, ask me how I’m doing, and workout alongside other members who aren’t there to chitter chatter and judge others, who are there to reach their goals and help out other members (i’ve had a few people come to me during my workout to help me with my form... you wouldn’t get that anywhere else). The community here is amazing, they offer so much more than an outdoor gym.. they offer a family who is passionate about you and your well being! I’m super happy I made the switch to finest!

I have been a member at just about every gym and fitness centre in Barrie. This is by far the best. Its not cheap. Its not expensive. Its fair. Its a real gym. Not a fitness centre. Now when I say its a GYM some may think that it would be intimidating and judgey, right. Wrong. Youre thinking of cliquey fitness centres. In a real GYM like Finest Fitness the members support each other. Everyone Ive spoken to has been friendly and courteous. In a GYM environment we are all on the same side. Self betterment. No matter your level Ive never seen anything but ourstanding staff support for member goals. If your independant thats cool. If you prefer personal training they got you covered as well. The best equipment in Barrie. Up to 150lb dumbells. Even got Rogue stuff here for you metal heads. For a real judgement free zone. Check this place out.

Before the gym was taken over, it was somewhere I could train that didn’t replicate a GoodLife or LA. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what it is now but with A smaller space. Not the best gym in Barrie - Don’t go here. Regards

Love the old school feel and the unique colour scheme plus the variety of equipment is great and the upkeep seems good as well. Front desk has supplements available, coffee, meat freezer. Owners seem very nice as well. Would recommend signing up here for sure as I will be as well.

Wonderful atmosphere, very friendly staff, and clean gym. They've builta New outdoor workout area with everything you would want to flip, punch, or lift. They even have one of those hard mode skipping ropes (battle rope?). Much fun, very nice! ( ° ͜ʖ °)

Was a great gym!!! Now finest fitness owns it and the head of the idiots is fabbio. His team are a bunch of green horns that aren't even certified trainers. Buyers beware!!! Looking online you'll see a lot of 5 star reviews, but they are all family members and friends posting fake reviews and results.

Honestly the best gym iv ever been to, has everything I need and the people are very nice, even the people who dont work there are crazy nice and welcoming. Im a socially awkward dude and after a couple weeks it feels like home. Probably the biggest key to getting results is enjoying myself and making the gym a fun place to go and destress decompress from my day, if not why would i wana go. This gym i get that, very happy, and if you have lower back problems they have a reverse hyperextension machine which has almost fixed my buldging disks And left me pain free. That was the #1 reason i joined I use that thing everyday and its reallllly rare piece of equipment to find at most gyms.

Amazing place. Staff are super supportive, understanding, knowledgable. They never made me feel like i was silly...esp as i have been going to gym for about 2 years and i thought i knew how to do movement s correct. they corrected my form and now i lift better and safer. I was so impressed, i signed up fro them to coach me for my show this coming Novemeber. They are currently renovating to enhance their services. Its just a great place. I highly recomened.

Fabbio operates and manages a amazing gym. He is a stand-up guy that really cares about everyone at his gym - no matter what their background, fitness level or goals are - he is truly their to help everyone he comes into contact with. Sam at the front desk is another amazing influence at that gym. She is a conduit to any question you have. I can not speak highly enough about how much she invests in every gym members success. She is always running around the gym and keeping it clean and she is incredibly thoughtful and sweet! This is by far the best gym in Simcoe County. It is old-school, gritty and has literally anything and everything anyone would need in their fitness journey. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Barrie’s Finest Fitness, A Fine place it is for sure! Wonderful people, great atmosphere and cool tunes. This is where we hustle for the muscle and seek to peak. That’s where my future wife noticed me, this handsome specimen I am, bench pressing a Bison. The rest is history and I’m now a vegetarian. Owner Fabio did such a magnificent job hiding those machines of “ no pain, no gain” behind a veil of beautiful colour schemes and interior remodelling, it would make Karl Lagerfeld blush. A rubber floor compliments the facility, in case ones blood pressure drops too quickly, after early morning 4 am “ Burpees” and you need to perform an emergency landing behind the squat racks. Now, believe it or not, we have a giant outdoor gym area, which will be fenced in completely, so no one can escape....who wants to anyway, the gym feels like home. According to Fabio, there will also be wall- hooks installed by next week, to accommodate “ overnighters”and their hammocks....now that’s commitment. I prefer sleeping in my truck out front, I snore. But, to top it all off, this gym keeps its doors open 24 hours, fantastic. So a quick stroll to the latrine or shower, after a midnight workout, is the creme de la creme, before tucking myself into my truck, ready by next morning to do it all over again...that’s what retirement is all about. All kidding aside, this gym is top notch!! Great staff, caring personal trainers and again, friendly folks. Additionally, Ryan and Andrea, two certified F.S.T.’s( fascia stretch therapists), are there to assist you to create “ a better” you. Fabio, you’re doing a wonderful job. 3 thumbs up
