I was just reading the reviews , i dont know why most of people are disappointed with their visit. sorry to hear that :( I visited the web just to write a review i was planning to write for over a year now LOL. we stayed at rimrock resort in January 2018 for our honey moon❤ we booked a 60minute message on our last day. That was my first message, the staff was so nice and i loved it, it was so relaxing, atmosphere in the room was soothing , music was calming . The message itself was great, i felt like she was taking all of my tension out of my body through my hands and feet. she gave a great neck massage and a relaxing head message. she also placed hot towel over my shoulder and the 60 minutes passed so quickly i did not wanted to get up ???? at last they offered a chilled lemon drink once we were out of the room . At that time i though every message feels like that as it was my first experience, but later when I had a really bad experience at a well known hotel in Niagara falls, I came to realize how great that was and here I am writing the review I do not remember the name of the lady but It was 2nd feb 2018 , around 11 in morning , so whoever you had on duty that day at that time ...... I just wanted to say THANKYOUUUUUU for the great message, i would loved to visit their monthly if lived close by ????❤

Gym is small but good enough. Hot tub is very warm and cozy. Really nice coming down here after the day in the mountains.

Honestly Reviewed

Every time I'm in Banff I always come here for dinner or lunch. The view is amazing at the restaurant. If you're there when the tables are set on the balcony I highly recommend that area to sit. The food is always perfect. Drinks are amazing especially their homemade lemonade is 100% perfect. I must say don't forget to order their desserts. They are really delicious. Price wise this is much better than any other 5 star dining. Can't compare the food quality,price and view to anywhere else in the area. The pastry store also sells really nice deserts other than the restaurant's.

Their spa services cannot be matched! I stayed here during our wedding, and used their spa the day before. Incredibly comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Kelly is one of the best estheticians I have ever met! If I lived closer to Banff, I would be there monthly!!

Disappointed! Change room is very small, there are no relaxing pool chairs and supplies in change rooms were non existent. No lotion in the ladies, the lotion container in the main public change room broken. The whole place seems to be a third rate spa compared to the Banff Springs.

For a first time spa visitor, the experience was great! Me and a girlfriend got massages and facials. The massages were pretty good but if you want a specific gender make sure you specify because they didn't ask on the phone (also would've been nice if they ask how the pressure is during the massage). They also ask if you have any skin concerns for the facial, but even then it felt like a generic facial, the girl didn't concentrate too much on my problem areas. But the facials felt great! And you're permitted to use the pool and hot tub afterwards so bring a swimsuit, the facility is very nice. Waiting room was warm and quaint, very pretty. Change room is okay - it's a large area with one bathroom stall and one shower stall - would be nice to have multiple stalls or rooms inside the change room so more than one person can change at a time. But they have lockers with keys, and complimentary toiletries like shower caps, razors, mouthwash etc. Overall great spa, we loved it!

This is a mixed review as my daughter and I both visited the Spa for pedicures and I had a good experience but she did not. My experience was great, the esthetician that I had took her time and did a wonderful job on my pedicure. I would highly recommend her. However, my daughter did not receive the same experience which is disappointing. Her appointment was rushed and the time was not taken to provide her a relaxing experience (i.e. the scrub was rushed, the warm cloth wrap was rushed) . The esthetician also burnt my daughters toe on the LED lamp as she was leaning on it while painting polish on her other foot. I did not realize that this happened during the appointment as my daughter did not tell me until afterward. But, I did keep hearing her say repeatedly to my daughter to relax and now I know why she was saying that as she knew she burnt my daughters toe. I would expect better service especially for the price you are paying for the appointment.

*UPDATE* the management called me the following week, and were very kind and refunded me for my service. They did what they could to make it better, and I appreciated that. Thank you! I went in for a facial. The facility is so small, and has no privacy. There was 4 of us trying to change, we finally had to leave and take turns one at a time to allow privacy and room to change. There was dirty cups all over the sink, and the laundry was overflowing. All the used robes were piled on the floor, and there were also dirty cups in the lounge that were there when we got there and were still there when we left. My service was poor. My skin was not assessed. My girl asked me what I thought about my skin, and that was it. There was an unpleasant odour in the room as well. Their product is good, the bed was comfortable, but the rest of the experience was poor. For a top rated hotel, that charges high rates for their services, I was very disapointed with my experience.

I feel this place has the absolute ability to be a 4 or 5 star facility with the views and the comforters in the rooms. It's the small service touches that elevate you to that. When you are paying close to $200 for a service you expect your full treatment. I mentioned that I was only in for 50 minutes and they just said sorry about that. Really puts a little damper on what is a typically happy time, staying here.

My massage with Harry was incredible. He is considerate and knows the perfect amount of pressure. He even took some extra time with me to work on an additional area. When I return, I will definitely be asking for him again.

I would highly recommend the therapeutic massage. The staff were extremely professional and sensitive to my requirements. Harri was excellent and made me feel very comfortable during the massage. Definitely worth a trip if you fancy a relaxing afternoon.

First time here, luckily my husband had a great person doing his first pedi, mine on the other hand was horrible, I'm now wearing a bandaid and polysporion cause of the girl filing so harsher burnt and cut my toe, then blamed it on a blister which I didn't have. I felt the burning and saw her reaction after she noticed, she also did no filing on my feet anywhere else. After she applied polish she used remover to clean up and directly put her fingers into the new incision she caused with polish remover on her fingers so it stung bad. Needless to say worst pedi I've had wont be back but glad my husband had someone good for his first.

I decided to treat myself to a hot stone massage for my birthday and stay at the hotel for the night to have a relaxing bday experience. I thought because the hotel is great (my fav in Banff) that the spa would be too. The change room is miniture with zero warmth. The massage room was ok but the massage itself was basic and non memorable. The pressure was weak and offered me nothing. In most massages stones are placed on key areas but this didn't happen. The therapist did not massage my feet, my arms or my head??!! It seemed like a novice massage with high price tag. Once the massage was over she did not greet me with water, she wasn't even there. I felt very disappointed in my experience at the spa. I would not recommend it.
