I was shopping around for weight plates and looked into TYDAX on a recommendation from a friend. Their price for plates is very good considering how much it has skyrocketed due to COVID. The quality of the plates (I bought both bumper and rubber coated) seems great so far. I sent in an order for some plates and received confirmation that the order was ready for pickup the next day. The pickup process was very easy as well. Overall a great experience.

Just wanted to take a minute and let you know I am LOVING my new Tydax squat rack. It really is a beast - comparable to other US based big name racks but better priced and a CANADIAN company... Good guys - super quick answers to my questions and my rack arrived 1 DAY after I ordered it. The rack itself is very stable and tough, and replacing a similar rack - it is noticeably more solid. The 3x3 11 guage steel, arms and J hooks are all bomb proof, and as I said - pricing can't be beat. Give these guys a look if you are in the market for a power rack or squat stand for your garage gym. Thanks again Tydax.

I've had the opportunity to drop in and use a wide variety of TYDAX equipment. Their management team is incredibly friendly and genuinely wants to create the best products they can. They told me to let them know any recommendations I had to improve their products, and they listen to feedback and go back to the drawing board when necessary (which is a rarity). Their equipment is high quality and competitively priced, and customer service is just icing on the cake.

I've had my home gym for about a week now mostly outfitted with Tydax products. I waited this long to be able to provide an unbiased review based on real world usage. First I gotta say, my home gym/man cave looks amazing down in my basement. I picked their Beast Half Rack due to its minimal footprint. It can do pretty much a full-sized rack would do for my purposes, plus it opens up a lot of floor space. This rack is a BEAST indeed. I do weighted pull ups and dips and this thing does not move. I also picked up their competition plates, universal barbells, FID bench, mats, sport arms and dip attachment. It's nice to have a local brand who has these things in stock and I pick them up as I go. Overall, I am very happy with Tydax and their products. The ordering process is super easy and they have the nicest and friendliest staff I've ever dealt with. From Mark and Celeste from Sales to Colton from the warehouse. Highly recommended. Buy from Tydax folks!

Excellent customer service!!! Sebastian dealt with me on 3 or 4 occasions before I placed my order and was extremely helpful. Sebastian was also eager to correct a few issues that arose upon receiving my order. In other words Tydax took responsibility for a few simple mistakes and made sure I was satisfied. What more can you ask for on the customer service side of a business than to back what they sell. I purchased quite a few items one being there rower which is amazing. The seat sits higher than the Concept 2 D by 6", it has great resistance up to 16 levels, feels extremely solid and has a nylon seat belt like belt for pulling rather than a chain which needs oil like the Concept 2. The beast 49 power rack with plate storage is extremely well built, strong and has nothing cheap about it. I love that it has 1" on center holes for the bench zone giving you more flexibility and the laser cut numbers on every single hole unlike a lot of their competitors. Last thing I'll mention are the Tydax competition plates because they are flawless. I only bought 1 pair of 45lbs to add to my collection of weights but after seeing and using these plates I will be buying more in the future and fading out some of my old bumper plates. They have minimal bounce, no odor, and no imperfections. I'm glad put my money into these great Canadian company and in case you weren't aware shipping is free to a local depot as long as you spend $450.00 making them a solid choice. After months of online research I came across Tydax fitness and was pleasantly surprised to see a variety of equipment that was very reasonably priced... I purchased the half rack smith machine for my home gym. It was easy to assemble and has been my favorite home gym purchase so far. Since then I have purchased bumper plates and kettlebells. I wanted to wait a few weeks before I gave a review on the beast squat stand. First off the customer service is incredible! Sebastian was very patient and transparent with me. Explained the whole shipping process to leave me with no doubts. The squat stand is great and sturdy. I'm confident that I'll be safe using this thing for years. I only have a few gripes with it but nothing major. Half of the bolts that came with it are too long and stick out the other half of the bolts are fine (120 mm and 150 mm IIRC). Having an option to bolt the squat stand to the floor would be huge in my opinion and the last thing would be I'm not a huge fan of the j-hooks this is all personal preference and it could be a matter of just getting used to it. These are all things to consider for anyone reading but overall I'm very happy with my purchase and wish these guys a lot of success.

We came across Tydax and since we were from Spruce Grove, we decided to make the trip into Edmonton. Full honesty, we weren't too sure what to expect BUT we were instantly amazed when Sebastian showed us around. Since that day we purchased all that we could from them to fill our second location, started changing over our first location with Tydax equipment and still reach out on a monthly basis as they continue to expand product line. I ordered a red barbell on cyber Monday, and it arrived that Thursday. I was blown away with how fast it shipped to Kelowna BC, and the shipping was $29.00!! I had been looking at Rogue Canada barbells before that but the price for them after the shipping was too insane. I already made that mistake with my NoBull lifters (haha). Having used the barbell for a couple weeks now I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The workmanship and strength are top notch. The knurling feels perfect in my grip and I'm confident this bar can handle anything I could possibly put it through. Also felt good to support a Canadian company. I'm not a cheapskate, I wanted a quality bar for a fair price. Tydax delivered in spades. Thank you!

As someone who has competed in weightlifting, powerlifting, and strongman, I can say my weightlifting bar from Tydax is fantastic. The spin, for the price, will not be beat. The customer service was incredible. I was a bit nervous as I had not heard of this company before (although it has been a while since I competed; around 10 years for Olympic lifting, and in a different province), I saw the reviews were exceptional. I decided to message them asking about the differences of 2 bars, and they were very thorough with a great explanation. I would recommend tydax to any weightlifter or crossfitter out there. I'm looking forward to them restocking bumper plates so I can spend more money there ???? Thanks Tydax, I'm really happy I found your company, and wish I could give you more than 5 stars.

When searching for power racks I came across TYDAX. I hadn’t heard of them before but they are a Canadian company so I decided to check them out. They call their racks Beast Racks but I was sceptical being a Rogue fan. WOW is all I have to say. These racks are definitely beasts and for the price, I would put them up against any rack out there. We bought the Beast 49 and we are very happy that we went with TYDAX! Watch out, they are going to make some noise across Canada.

I wanted to review 2 items in particular: I purchased the Beast Half Rack for my garage gym and am totally blown away With the construction quality. Not to mention the price can not be beat for this quality. I'm able to perform all my workouts with this unit, it's unbelievably sturdy without having to bolt it to the floor. Second item I purchased was the chrome comp barbell. The price was similar to other bars on the market however I am really happy with this bar, because of the impressive knurl this bar is equipped with. It also has great whip and spin. If recommend both of these items to anyone. Hope they come out with colour bars. Will definitely be purchasing new bumpers from TYDAX in the future.
