What I notice is for black card members is the people behind the counter don't check to make sure you are black card. I've seen plenty of 10 dollar members being able to use the massage chairs. Why am I paying 20 dollars?

This is a great planet fitness. The staff is friendly The gym is clean. Most of the patrons clean up after themselves. The change rooms and bathrooms are nice as well. Spacious and clean. They are handling the covid pandemic very well with appointments and solid well thought out rules. When the patrons bother to follow them... Or even learn them.... But you can't fix people unfortunately that's just how they are. Great gym well staffed and managed!

There's a few popular machines that there's only one of, but never to the point of not getting your workout in. A second stand up tanning bed would be more ideal. All in all can't complain for the price at all!

For those who are unaware: They failed to put anywhere on their website that you are now required to book an appointment to work out. appointments start at the top of the hour (5:00, 6:00 etc..) and last for only one hour. They say they take walk ins if they have room but once the hour starts, they do not let anyone who has not booked an appointment in. If you can't change before you get there it only leaves you 45-50 mins to work out which is not long enough considering you have t be out by the time the next one starts. The staff are normally very friendly but recently have been not so nice. They're taking appointments all by hand which seems very unorganized and confusing for them. If you're going to do it this way AT LEAST have it so people can book online.

My husband and I were charged the yearly fee on 1/4 of $40 each ($80 total) after we were unable to cancel our memberships is person due to the shutdown. My account was frozen and then I was told it was only a month to month freeze. We have not used this gym because of the shutdowns and COVID risk and when I asked the mangers (spoke to assistant and regional) I was told I would not receive my $80 back. Really nice of them during a financial hardship/ great customer service and really makes me inclined to use/recommend this gym again once we return to some normalcy in the world...

The negative reviews are from self entitled chimps. This Gym is fine, friendly staff, good equipment that has been known to go out of service (As would any place with high demand usage). Clearly these idiots have never been to a small gym where you are waiting an hour just for a turn on the squats or leg press. I find the maximum wait time I have ever had for a machine is 15 minutes, which is plenty of time to get another work out in. Don't listen to these babies, the more money they make, the more locations for us, meaning more access and more options across town.

The personal trainer Aja set up a workout routine for me to drop 20lbs and get into the best shape of my life. Im prone to vertigo attacks, so she chose workouts that will keep me from moving my head too much. I feel like i'm really working out and can't wait to start seeing results. I've been showering there and it's all very clean and good atmosphere!

Large parking lot. We've been traveling around the country and are using PF as our gym. Most PFs we have been to look very similar so you know what to expect. I learned on this visit they have kettle bells. Didn't interact with the employees. We saw several employees cleaning machines as we were working out. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon around 7 and it was a ghost town. No bottle filler attachment for the water fountain. Even though they had like 5 or 6 cleaning stations that I could see, the 3 near us were out of paper. Other than that we had a good workout with the equipment.

It has more cardio equipments than free weights. It's understandable since they dont have enough space. But then price is good compared to good life gym with special privileges. If you like free weights, visit it when it's not busy.

I took the time to read some of the comments left by other who felt the need to leave negative and un-constructive reviews. I don't believe if someones intentions are to get in shape that they would have the time to leave such comments. With that said I have had nothing but a postive experience with the gym and hard working staff. They were pleasing to talk to and just all around good people. Every expeeience is what you make it, the gym can't make someone want to get in shape that motivation has you come from the individual. Life is too short stay focused on the important things. To all the staff at Planet Fitness keep up the good work

The Management is really bad. I don't know how lazy they are. They don't even take responsibility to clean the equipment and always there is big line-up outside the gym. We all know there is a covid but they don't count the capacity in every 30mints/hour how many people are in. One time I was in the gym and I count only there is 35 people inside doing workout and outside there is 25 people waiting to let in.

I literally joined 2 days ago and I cannot express how great it is to go here. The staff are all very nice. The place feels very clean, and specifically for covid, there are safety measures and mask on policy. I have seen people move their masks down to their chin while on some machines, not sure if thats been oked? Or if there are a few who just choose to move it off. But otherwise it's safe to work out. It's not super crowded even with some machines closed for social distancing. I can use the cardio machines and get to use most, if not all of the other weight machines without feeling like i can't get to once, so there's a lot of machines to work with! Also I got the 22/month membership since im traveling between 2 cities (compare to their basic one for 10/month) and it's still wallet friendly. Overall I recommend this gym and it's worth it if you're a beginner or want to just get in shape or stay in shape.

I've been going here for a year now and although around this time the new years resolutioners keep the gym packed, it's a great mediocre gym. Friendly staff, clean machines, showers are decent. Busiest time is around 5pm and there are hardly any lockers available but otherwise decent gym.

I did not like the way that they only give an hour a day to use the gym. As the schools are closed, especially the fitness students only rely on the gyms for assignments and for fitness. And, I don't think that its fair, the fact being that the gym is empty. There were only a few people in the gym and I was not allowed to stay longer. My point is that, if the gym is empty and there are not lots of slot bookings, there should be an option to extend the stay. I am really disappointed. I was told to take an entry pass of an another gym for a day to complete the assignment.

I went for my first real workout yesterday afternoon after work, and I have nothing but positive things to say. I had an issue with my payment information when I registered initially, but it was a breeze to get it rectified. The staff seem to be very helpful, and happy to answer any questions or resolve any issues. The gym itself is massive, I have a hard time imagining having to wait for any equipment. I have always been uncomfortable in gyms in the past, as I am what you would call a beginner. It can be daunting at some other places, but there is a different vibe here. You simply cannot go wrong. ONLY complaint would be the locker area in the men's changing room is a tad tight.

I wish I could give 4.5 stars, really there is so much to love about this gym. Change rooms are always clean, as is the gym, tons of cardio and weights, never any line ups and oh man I LOVE the hydro massage tables. Of course at the low price point there are a few things missing, like no real exercise studio space or decent classes of note, plus no female only area, and I wish either the water pressure in the showers were better or they would upgrade to detachable showerheads. That being said, there is a general good vibe at this gym, staff is friendly, fellow gym goers are just there to work out and there isn't much chest pounding or showing off. All in all it's a great gym at a great price.

I had problems with my account and called the gym and the little girl working the desk was able to help...hmmm...that doesn't seem right. Your banking info is just a click from the rif-raff the have working there. Also don't get the black membership, it's just a couple extra's, not worth the money at all.

Go in to cancel and they won't give back the yearly membership they charged me for 15 days ago... Like it's a pandemic and they won't let you cancel over the phone. That's the way to get you to keep paying. When I went in to cancel there was a guy fixing a machine.. Maskless... Neither did anyone on a machine. Clearly they don't think highly of safety. Trust me you will completely regret signing up.

I have complained at least 7 times about the filthy condition of the tanning bed and all i get is lip service from the people at the front desk. After the last time i complained about the greasy slimy mess in the lay down bed i was assured the problem was rectified in that the counter staff had to inspect the bed after each time it was used. But again today i could see a greasy outline of the last person to use the bed, so I had to clean it again before I used it as well as afterwards. I guess they make so much money they Don't care if people get pissed off and leave. Pissed off.????

Gym itself is okay, but god forbid you ever need to buy anything from the front counter. Towels? $25 each. Headphones? $12. Hope whatever you buy isn't defective either because employees tell you that managers can refund, but managers tell you they can't. Had to buy their crappy rebranded dollar store headphones for a 1000% markup and they didn't even work out of the box. No refunds, not even bought on the same day, with receipt. Offered to replace, but why would I want to exchange garbage for more garbage? Go to the Y or a city gym instead, this place is overly busy even by peak hours standards, and they gouge you on extras worse than Ryanair.

I very much enjoy this gym. At first I thought it seemed a little weird but once I started going I really started to like it. There is a wide variaty of equipment, very clean, a lot of the time it is not very busy and the staff are amazing! They're always so friendly and helpful they always brighten my day. I love after a hard work out using the hydro massage beds and chairs. Also tanning in the summer is great! I highly reccomemed. Especially if you are knew to working out it is a no judgement zone and everyone is very mellow.

But my banking was compromised and they tried to go into it twice to get out a pymt and my bank charged me not 1but 2 NSF that I had no control bank took off the NSF but the charge from the gym they won't take it off. Went to sign up, as I'm hoping to get back to a 24-hour gym. Unfortunately it looks like they only accept bank/debit billing. I'm not able to expose myself to that kind of risk, especially after reading the recent reviews here. PF, if you'd like to do business with me (and doubtless many others in my position), I'm able to pay with cash or Mastercard. I also require a simple no hassle web cancellation option, or some kind of fixed non-renewing term (ie. 3 months, a year, etc). If you're able to offer this in the future, count me in! Cheers!

I am fan of planet fitness Kingston even after a bad experience still I believe on planet fitness. Unprofessional staff Emily (not sure name but she calling herself supervisor/working around today 7:30 pm ) I recently moved from Manitoba and I show her my Manitoba vaccine card to enter gym but she was rude and stopping to enter . I explain her that’s Canadian vaccine card and it’s valid in whole Canada . Every province is different but this good enough to enter any province without problems .I understand her protocol concept but if you working as supervisor then you have to know knowledge of other province vaccine cards too . I tried to show her online vaccine card details but she was not agree on it . FinLly but I tried 1 hrs until mobile battery dies

Planet Fitness was great! From the "social fitness" signs they had up to keep people 6ft apart, their clean stations for everyone to wipe down their machines (which everyone did), and the amount of machines available! Plus, its a very welcoming atmosphere. I'm not the most fit person (there's a reason I visit the gym haha), and I felt instantly welcomed and not judged at all! I look forward to visiting again soon!

Planet Fitness is a great place to get back to working out. Everyone is wiping everything down and wearing masks when not on a machine. I am really happy that we can take care of our fitness at a club with few restrictions again. There was no lineup and no appointment necessary ☺

Want to put this in attendance to the owner and manager. It is my personal experience otherwise the staff is good. I called the gym 3 times as there was an issue with my payment and I was told I will receive a call back which I did not receive until I called again . I could understand as I work at a front desk too. I didn’t want to use the gym for free and wanted to pay. I used the gym only for ‘A DAY’I requested the manager that I don’t wish to pay a month fee while I used the facilities for a day. The manager was utterly rude and said I should pay for the whole month irrespective of my 3 times follow up with the gym. Until then, no one called and asked why the payment is not going through. I didn’t want to be unfair in this bad times. The gym is economical and amazing. Unfortunately I was taken aback by the manager’s attitude & tone; but I shall pay for that month or for day use (which he states is $20) and I shall withdraw my membership which the manager replied, ‘ perfect and have a good day’ I wish you all the best in this hard COVID times.

Have only been a member here for a couple weeks but have enjoyed my experience thus far. The staff is very friendly. Was a little put off by the lack of windows and the yellow/purple theme initially but got over it pretty quickly. The gym is kept exceptionally clean and organized and has everything I need for a good workout. The price is unbeatable as well. It can get a little busy around 5pm so if you have a flexible schedule you can work around that time. It would be nice if they provided a towel service in the locker rooms (I’d pay extra), but it’s hard to complain about anything when the price is as low as it is.

Spacious gym....lot of machine equipments...but u will surely miss those free barbells...they have some strict rules in how you behave in the gym for example...no groaning or in their words linking where they have a link alarm....you cant drop weights...you have to clean the every equipment after use...but at the end of the day it just $10 bucks a month

The place is very well maintained. The staff do not know everything but are willing to look into any questions they don't have answers to. They do help with what they're well versed in. They're very friendly. And stick to the covid policies. The gym is very clean. Though in times out of covid, I imagine the place will be very very crowded. The prices are low. And other customers seem to keep to themselves or are very helpful. It's an environment that I would suggest if you are starting out with fitness. No judgements. Everytime I see other's trying to better themselves I get inspired. Would recommend.

Thres showers in the men’s room, and one toilet. The location is small, but it’s actually pretty clean. The staff are okay, it’s a 24 hour gym, But it doesn’t have a walkout squat bar, or a lift off bench press rack. So it’s lacking advanced equipment for free range of motion exercises. Only 3 smith machines, one leg press machine.

I always have had a great experience coming to Planet Fitness Vodden. The staff members (I can remember Jovi) on afternoon shift are very professional, friendly and fantastic at ensuring that the gym is safe by constant sanitization, disinfecting and keeping the gym clean. I appreciate that the staff takes Covid-19 measures seriously than other gyms, by enforcing mask compliance to all members, as the L6V community has the highest rates of infection in Peel.

Basic gym with plenty of space. Has a super corporate "Globo-Gym" feel, but the price and value of the passes are hard to beat. Not a powerlifter or anything like that, so this place has everything I need to complete a workout. They could do with a few more water fill stations thought. 100 treadmills and 1 water station.

The best part is the cleanliness and I always notice the staff who works there cleaning every nook and corner of the equipments. Decent gym, friendly staff. Good for a casual workout. No power racks, no barbells, though. So, in other words, if you either powerlift or do Oly lifts, it's out of the question. Go to tournament centre instead, they got professional equipment and less people. Also, it's a flat fee, while planet fitness slam you with all kinda unexpected charges.

Happy to be able to bond a little with my teenage daughter's while teaching them a healthy life routine for about $20 a month blackcard. Less than half the price of anywhere else. I deal with the change rooms by not using them. Come ready to roll and use the personal lockers they later installed outside the rooms to lock up coats, keys and outdoor shoes. I'm not here to rate the locker room. Suits my life situation 5*****stars. Also, although not yet retired, seniors need a weekly routine after retirement. A place to schedule getting up out of the house like in their working days. A place that doesn't break the bank and fill a void in their new retired work-life.

They have a huge selection of cardio equipment, and several cable machines. The one machine that they didn't have is a set of squat racks. This is the reason why I believe this is a great gym for beginners and intermediate levels of fitness!

I really like planet fitness the staff have all been friendly, the facility is always clean including the washrooms and showers. I have never had any issues with the equipmemt and they throw a pizza night amd bagel night in once a month and the costs are quite frankly cheap, so cheap my mathematical business mind tries to calculate how it keeps its doors open with such low fees. Also every time I have been there I have no issues getting on equipment. My only feedback is the showers (at least the mens) the water is way too hot.. after a 2hr work out sometimes you want a cold shower and all I have been able to get is next to scalding. Other then that Love the place!

I can go here and do cardio for ages, then branch off to whatever muscles I'm targeting, and finish off with a hydro massage. Amazing. The price is right as well. I highly recommend them.

Good Atmosphere, clean equipments and decent change rooms. Lots of space available in the gym and helps with social distancing. Lots of cleaning stations for wiping down equipments and also hand sanitizer available. Massage chairs and the hydromassage are awesome and definitely a nice perk to have with the black card. If you download the app, you can see how crowded the gym is through the 'crowd meter'. Staffs are okay, some of them could work on their ustomer service aspect a bit.

I just quit my membership. This morning my second time being back after reopening. I used one of their cardio machines and after I was out of breath standing next to my machine a worker came up to me and said I had to put my mask on. I said "Can it wait till I catch my breath first?" She said no. I say "Ok what if I just rest on the machine and catch my breath? She said "No, once you stop exercising you must put on the mask immediately." It happened July 27 10 AM 2020 and it was the woman working the front door. If the bosses are reading this.... she cost you a customer. I did not have this problem my first time back.

Staff are friendly and helpful, and the gym is new and shiny. Not great for me - I understand why others like it though. Area for free weights is very small and crowded even when moderately busy and not much room for body weight exercises. If you like basic cardio and strength training with machine, this would be a great place. Also, nitpicking here but I found their elliptical machines arm poles way to short and I'm not that tall at 5' 7". Their alternative to the elliptical - I don't know what it's called but it doesn't mirror natural strides and again, hand grips really low causing awkward posture. Wasn't a fan! Okay one last thing - what kind of gym offers free pizza and bagels? Stay back evil tempters!

They have 6 or so recumbent bikes and 1 recumbent stepper with a fan, endless treadmills and regular standing ellipticals. It's a nice gym, but how do they miss out on a key piece of cardio equipment that is just about in every other gym today? That's literally THE machine for older people nowadays.

I have never felt more uncomfortable at a gym, I am a long time gym goer and could not go to my old gym because I could no longer afford it but I wish that I spent the money and stayed there. The staff is incredibly rude and the manager is even ruder. I made a complaint about the staff and the manager told me that if I didn't like it that I should go somewhere else and that this gym wasn't for me and then laughed. Super unpleasant people and environment, I had a membership there for almost a year and never felt comfortable there. Staff would be rude or completely forget about you while you stood there in front of them, waiting for the amenities to free up (they would say it will be done in 2 minutes and then talk with other staff while you wait for 10 until you remind them and they suddenly remember they have a job to do). There are a couple of staff members that were great but the majority sucked. I'm going back to my old gym, I don't care if I have to pay more, it's not worth it to be treated like that. If staff read this, save your breath trying to reply and saying "we are so sorry you feel that way" because you're not. Get bent.

Got auto renewed for a membership without any notification or consent, not even a "hey have you enjoyed your year with us?" I'll admit this next part is a bit on me, but I have the auto payments on a banking account I don't use much anymore (I switched institutions) and I don't have overdraft protection. I should remember the date it will be withdrawn, but life is busy... 45$ for a 10$ gym fee. My issue is, almost every other auto billing program and even other gyms have an alert system to remind you payment is due soon, and I have asked the manager at Planet fitness if some form of messaging system could be established. I was told "many people have asked for that, but the club doesn't feel it's necessary." Listen to your patrons. Can't cancel my membership online or over the phone either.. very frustrating. I will be cancelling my membership, and I will adamantly fight for no cancellation fee. Tired of getting dinged and not told about it. Will be going to TCC for the month to month

Decent place to work out! Lacks a lot of the amenities you'd be used to in other gyms, but it's pretty obvious that that's because they cater to a more mainstream gym crowd. If you're looking for speciality equipment for athletic training or serious bodybuilding, you'll be hard pressed (and probably outgrow it)... But if you're like me and just want to maintain/get in shape with a decent amount of toned muscle to feel good about- you'll be fine.

This is a good gym for the price point. The staff are very helpful and supportive. I love that they keep do an amazing job of keeping the whole place clean, given the daily traffic on any given day. The only draw back is the lack of reliable wifi access. I can't stream my favourite workout music. That's the only downer. And during the peak time, around 6 - 7 pm, the treadmills are usually filled up. I highly recommend you try their work out classes-you'll need to register. You can RSVP the class through the app. Now if they have a little table in the shower for all my shower stuff...that would be freaking awesome! They recently fixed the wifi situation so it's reliable-ish now...I'll have to see if it's still reliable. Next problem to solve...there was no hot water in for the women's shower.

The gym is quite nice, love everything about it but the staff. The blonde one in the black pantsuit is one of the worst customer service workers I have ever dealt with. After having a minor issue that could have been solved right away she turned it to be more difficult leading me to just walk away with frustration. Luckily she wasn’t there the next time I came in where I was helped by the assistant manager. She on the other hand was very bright, polite, and helped me with everything I had concerns with. Whenever I go to the gym now I see that blonde worker and she always gives me a nasty look when we pass by each other or even when I’m entering the building to sign in. Something should be done about it, I know she has been talked to but I’ve heard more complaints about her. It’s really sad because it really is a very good gym but when she’s there it brings the experience to a big low. I have worked customer service for seven years and the way she treats people needs to be fixed.

I’ve worked out at many different gyms and this one is by far the most open and inviting! I love that there seems be at least as many women as men who work out here and it feels like everyone is welcome. It’s a bit of a bummer at first that there are no free weight squat or bench racks, but you adapt to using just the smith machines pretty quickly!! Love the massage chairs and tanning.

They charged my account FIVE TIMES in a matter of 2 weeks with FIVE NSF charges, I was $250 in the hole because of this gym and all they could do was "waive the current charges" no reimbursement, anything, then tell me I still had to pay for the month.. SMH .. Not to mention it ALWAYS smells stale and there's next to no equipment unless you go either really early in the morning or crazy late at night, no ideal for someone who works 9-5. As I said two months ago, a great place with great staff! Although, and this might vary by location and clientele, it seems to me that the Belleville site could lose some cardio machines and replace the space with weight machines. Other than the last niggling comment, my only real complaint is with the people who sit on the weight machines while texting. If you need to send a message after every set, get . . . the . . . hell . . . off! The YMCA has a "no cell phones" policy for many reasons. This is one of them. Ear buds on a treadmill? I totally get that. But the weight machine end of the room needs to be a no phone zone. I know that staff members have spoken to people who are hogging the only copy of a machine while texting and have basically been told to go screw themselves. Not cool.

The Manager Mike with the curly hair , has the worst customer service skills I've ever seen . Treats paying customers like it's a privilege to even be allowed in "his" gym as he says . On my last visit I witnessed him harassing a customer about sitting in the front lobby telling her she isnt allowed to sit there . When she asked why not he replied I dont have to give you a reason it's my gym , and you cant tell me anything . As far as I know owners aren't managers of the gym . This guy is having a cake walk and a free paycheck ,considering he does little to no work. It's such a difference in service compared to other locations , I'm surprised their district manager has no concern what so ever to change the so called judgement free environment. It's a very toxic environment due to the lack of customer service and leadership.

I just joined so I need time I really experience the gym, however so far everything is really nice. It's really clean, and I've seen employees walking around cleaning during the time I was there. So far I've been comfortable working out, not being bothered. Machines seem to be available even when it's busy, though I had to wait a minute for a couple weight machine. I haven't scheduled a training, though I hope to very soon.

This place is a zoo! It doesnt seem to matter what time you go. Because the place is so busy, the cleaning seems to fall behind. The locker room is so cramped... this is the only location i have come by that only has 2 ...lovker pods... in the womens change room... not a great location gor the area given its use... they need more space.

I called them to cancel my membership because i wasn’t using their facility on Feb 19 and the lady told me that she would put a request through and if there is an error they will contact me, I didn’t receive a call so I thought that the cancellation went through. On March 1st i was charged the annual renewal fee $44 when i called them again to inquire about the charges they told me that it was my job to call them again to confirm my cancellation and they couldn’t do anything about it and he told me that he can see that my account was accessed on Feb 19 but can’t see why. After this horrible customer service experience i’m never returning to this gym and i wish there was an option for ZERO stars.

It's a good gym for what you pay for. Equipment is limited and some (hips/abductors??) is missing all together. There is not enough space, especially during peak times. I would love to see them expand into the empty units beside them and make it into a much larger location, there is definitely potential. This location is kinda like a mini and condensed version of PF and I hope they have plans to expand and have the space and quality that match their other locations.

If there was a 0 star, you would have negative stars after how i was discriminated and poorly treated by the district manager and manager of this location for expressing concerns on the health and safety. They have no empathy or care for the members of this facility as the district manager made that loud and clear about that directly. I was enjoying this gym till how i was treated. Both unprofessional and unethically fit to run the gym. You Advertise no judgment but you failed that statement today.

Allot has happen since covid, during the pandemic there was ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to cancel gym membership. I called all the number even the US sent emails no reply. I checked my bank account and I’m still being charge... I’m the modern day world we live in only we I can cancel, is in person or register mail!!! I’ve moved out of province so now I have to probably drive in to cancel because I don’t trust register as I feel they would say the didn’t get my letter. COMPLETE nonsense !!!!

Honestly the only gym chain I'd recommend. Their staff are amazing. The facilities are immaculate. I've never seen a gym this clean. I'm no gym hunk, and feel out of place at most gyms. But this one I feel comfortable. If anyone is considering joining, their rates are great. The black card is definitely worth the extra few bucks. Machines are in great condition, and are well maintained. Absolutely love going to any Planet Fitness.

Been a member at the London location for about a year now have always had great service at that location, unfortunately couldn’t say the same about the waterloo location been their 3 times now been ignored for more then 2 minutes because they were to busy on their phones extremely SNOTTY! Because I asked for a specific tanning bed number, 6 to be specific and gave me the card for 6 but after I already got undressed and put my lotion on the bed did not start because they did not listen and started another bed that I did not ask for and would be rude after I call and get them to start it for me NOT IMPRESSED..

I planned on joining the Planet Fitness gym for 1 month to see how it compared to my current gym. I tried to cancel my membership over the phone at the end of the month and was told I had to come in to cancel. I could not come in before they billed me for the second month. When I could finally go the gym I not only had to pay for the second month but also an annual fee, which they could not waive. This gym has very shady business policies. You are able to join and pay for your membership online, yet according to their policies you cannot cancel your membership online. You also need to provide a 7 day notice of cancellation before any charges to your account. They also have a no refund policy. The staff dealt with the issue professionally but not considerately. Their attitude does not encourage returning customers. Long story short, I ended up paying over $70 to try out the gym for one month.

This gym has very friendly staff. The changing rooms are always clean including the showers. The Black Card area is set back so it quiet and peaceful. The tanning beds and booths are all new and give a strong beautiful tan. The hydromassage is a comfortable massage that you don't want to stop. They have a 30 minute workout area, a 360 exercise equipment, which has so many options to it. Personal trainer small classes. Great place to train without judgement.

Bill is good to work with, albeit very fast in the information he gives without much time to reiterate information so I question his pedagogical abilities at times. I'd give it four stars if they didn't keep the place so hot in the cooler months. It's a gym, lots of heavy breathing, stinky, sweating bodies roaming around. It doesn't matter if it's cold outside, people don't want to be hot as balls while they're working out. It's also a major deterrent for migraine sufferers and those with health issues exacerbated by the heat.

I am going to planet fitness Vodden location with my friend since two years..I was never disappointed before..but this time an employee with long hair brown guy working during evening shift is so rude to us…he is bothering us and said I am the boss of gym..my friend said we are not comfortable with this kind of behaviour and going to cancel the membership if it keeps on going like this..he shows thumbs up and said awesome …he never regrets of his bad behaviour towards his customers..planet fitness is a good place to visit…even all other locations I never experienced such kind of behaviour…Please never come to this location staff members are really unprofessional and even the staff is totally unfit ..and rude to their customers……..very very poor service …I definitely don’t recommend

Great price, friendly staff, lots of perks and plenty of cardio machines. There needs to be more weight training machines but they do have about 5-6 different machines for stomach excercises. The place needs to be bigger as it is usually pretty busy at perks times and it feels cramped. You can't go wrong joining a planet fitness. The black card program is great for bringing a guest and perks.

This Planet Fitness location does a very poor job of communicating with its members. When they closed due to Covid-19 no notification went out. When it reopened, again, no communication. I didn't know until I saw a membership payment come out of my bank account. And now recently they've have started asking for members to make an appointment but failed to communicate this and members are showing up and unable to work out. Wake up. Communicating to your members is not a difficult task.

Worked out at this place for 2 years. The gym overall is maintained well and the staff are friendly enough. But it's always crowded, there is no deadlift bar or an actual bench press. It's good for just cardio and light strength training.

I had the $20 membership. They told me there was no hidden fees. Two months into my gym membership without warning and if they would’ve told me I would have prepared for it, they took about a $45 annual fee payment that they never told me about, which resulted in non-sufficient funds in my bank account. Which I also got charged for. If they told me that there was an annual fee and when the annual fee would have happened I would have gladly have made sure that I had that amount in my bank account for when they went to withdraw it automatically. Other than their terrible lack of knowledge and customer service, I watched several people not wipe down the gym equipment and I’ve seen no staff go around and clean unused gym equipment just as a precaution. I normally go for an hour to an hour and a half and even when they’re sitting around they don’t think to maybe go and clean machines because they’ve been used all day

I honestly love the staff. And enough of the staff genuinely try to make note of the regulars and get to know your name and a bit about you to make each visit personal. Its very welcoming. I literally only have one massive complaint: over the last few months the classes offered have decreased and they are pushing their "build your own program" really hard. I enjoyed the classes and what is being offered now is extremely limiting for a mom to squeeze into a schedule. If u can get up and out the door at 6am... Your fine. If you're tied until 9am after the kids are on the bus and before 3pm, its very very limited. I always found the gym was kept clean, wipe down stations well stocked, and locker rooms (female anyways) always spotless.

Overall a pretty good place to work out. This is my home gym although I alternate between this one and the club near my job. It has all the a central's and some few added extras that are very nice if you have the black card membership. It is definitely nicer to go when it isn't so crowded though. Staff is usually pretty cool and most of the other members are generally respectful. Covid Update: I didn't go for awhile even after they'd opened because I felt unsure and a tad unsafe. I went to the one near my work (Maple Rd) and I felt a bit better, beside the few times a small group of students are in the locker room socializing without masks on at all. Then one time it was more convenient to go to the one I originally signed up with, so many nose displayers. You might as well just not bother if you're going to do that. If you can't breathe while working out with a mask on: you deserve to be able to breathe, you really do. Work out st home where you can do exactly that; don't discomfort others' safety and possibly health because you're doing something you can't do, stay within your limits - you should be able to breathe comfortably while working out, mask off at home or mask on at the gym.
