This Gym is included in the category of Gym.
My daughters love coming here, and their staff is doing what they can to keep everyone safe. When they re-open we will be coming back.
I grew up as a Gymtastics competitive athlete. The coaches have always been so supportive in my goals and pushed me to the best of my abilities bringing me farther than I could have ever imagined. I couldn't wait to become a Gymtastics Coach myself! I have now coached at this gym for 8 years and couldn't imagine a better job. All the staff are amazing, fun, quirky and extremely talented. But making a difference in each child's life is what puts a smile on my face each and every day. :)
Good gymnastics program. A little disorganized but the kids have a blast and learn some skills while gaining confidence.
Decently priced programs, great facility and the staff are good with kids. Well-run and equally well organized.
This is my boys favorite place. They adore their time here. The coaches have all been fantastic over the past two years we have been attending.
Great place for gymnastics for kids
Well equipped large gym, good coaches however, this is a very large gym where they really focus on the competitive programs. Returning Rec kids and parents are often not remembered by the management staff after multiple years of returning.
We have been taking our daughter here for awhile now and we couldn’t have found a better place to help nourish her abilities!
Great place to go with kids. Lots to do for kids of all ages
Very Welcoming! Clean facility and good covid protocols..
Gymtastics Gym Club has now opened it's 2nd location in Calgary. It keeps growing because of customer demand for its quality programs and instruction. I know first hand that co-owners Darlene Fedyna and Travis Oxley have worked extra hard to create the best pre-school and recreational gymnastics club possible. If you haven't seen it yet you should check out the new north Calgary location. It's incredible!
Excellently equipped facility, professional trainers.
Well equipped, good coaches, large gym
Many good instructors and decent size classes. My kids always enjoy themselves here.
Had a great time at the Gymtastics North Open House! Great facility, can't wait to have my child start classes in January!
Our first day back since the pandemic started was so well-thought out. The staff and management seem committed to the safety of everyone, and the new normal in no way interferes with my daughters enjoyment of the program. Well done gymtastics team!!
Daughter had a blast at day camps, loved all of the instructors.
Huge facility. Friendly staff. I was there as part of a birthday celebration.
Big lack of flexibility from the management!! Kids canot even try before signing up !!! For a 3 years old Gym should be more fun than that!!We are not shearing the same value.we wont try this place again
Amazing place!!! There you can find Coolio Julio. ;)
I was pretty disappointed in this program. For the cost I would have expected a lower ratio of instructors to kids. My daughter learned nothing (seriously nothing) in this class because there was never anyone to help her. Twice we left with her in tears because she was frustrated she couldn't do something. If you just want your child to be occupied for an hour, go for it...if you want them to learn gymnastic skills, go elsewhere.
Great experiences highly recommend them!
My 2 year old son started in the Gym Tykes class at the new north location. He had a blast. He's a very busy active kid and Gymtastics is a perfect place for him to solidify recently learned skills (i.e. jumping, coordination, balance, taking turns, being independent), be physically active and play with other kids - all in a safe yet simulating environment. The experienced instructors were great with the kids and you can tell that they really loved what they do. The gym club entrance was clean, bright and welcoming. Lots of space to hang coats and store backpacks. A large kitchen area with dining table and chairs to use as needed and an area with stadium like seating for parents, siblings or family member to watch the class. I would highly recommend Gymtastics to anyone who's interested in a fun and stimulating environment for their child.
These people make Gymnastics fun! Thank you.
No elevators for handicaps when attending parties upstairs
Great place for kids! They love going there.
large facilities. well trained couch gymnasts. A some courses a little too crowded. other than that, this place is a good choice for your kids.
Went to a birthday party and loved it!
Our girls love this gym! The staff are amazing, everyone is so great with kids. Plus they are structured and consistent, which I love as a parent.
Wonderful facility. We have signed up for the next session of classes. I was amazed at the variety of apparatus and my daughter was all over the trampolines.
My two girls love it here! The staff is great with kids and the facility is nice and big with lots of options. Friday afternoons is family drop in and its a ton of fun!
I do gymnastics classes there and they are amazing even with the changes due to covid it's still amazing
This gym, has high quality gymnastic. Even though your child will never be a Nadia, sure do will be a very healthy adults, with an experience that last for a life time. Here training is not limited to just gymnastic but also expands far beyond. Also here you will find amazing coaches that will help your child to expand her/his experience beyound specific gymnastic skills. Darlene is a master in bringing fun, braiding it with gymnastic specific skills and life experience( to wait for your turn, learn to develope higher attention spa.
My daughter was at another club and it was a poor experience. Gymtastics is excellent... better coaches and a much more professionally-run club.
Over the years I have spent a good amount of time at this gym club, watching both the recreation and competitive (boys and girls) programs. It has come to my attention that the recreation program is run well as the coaches focus on key values such as fun, fitness, love of the sport, and general well being of the athletes. Similarly the boys program is run the same way. However on the women's competitive side, I see favouritism to certain athletes by the coaches while other athletes receive very little attention. The coaches seem to focus more on success and not for the athletes but more for themselves and don't prioritize the athlete's well-being and feelings. Rarely do I see positive reinforcement towards the athletes. All in all this club offers great things for those who do not wish to take the sport to a competitive level.
Fantastic group Gymnastics for kids!
I have been bringing a young man with Autism to Gymtastics for over 5 years now. The ownership and staff have always made him feel welcome and a part of their community. As a result of this attitude (and the inclusive and supportive atmosphere) at Gymtastics during his twice-weekly trampolining he has grown as a person. He looks forward to coming. Gymtastics is a very positive and significant part of his life.
I have been apart of the Gymntastics community for 9 years now and ever since I was younger I have wanted to be apart of the welcoming family. The coaches help shape kids into not only gymnasts, but also introduce them into a caring community. Today I am proud to say that I'm a coach there and I love working with the kids and get to know them
Super disappointed. My situation changed and my daughter was unable to attend her classes. I hoped to move her into a different class but non were available. They said there is no refunds and nothing they can do. So I'm out almost $300!!! Wont be going here every again.
Our son lives this place! Grateful they were open for the summer camps which were super fun and kept the kids busy. Most of the staff are friendly some admin staff could be a bit more responsive.
A nice place for kids to have fun and learn gymnastics. Safe and friendly.
We discovered the drop in on Fridays and gave it a try. I have a 6 year old and a 2 year old, and the equipment they had out kept both of them busy for the full hour. They had everything we wanted to try to see if my daughter wanted to take classes. Rings, bars, foam pits, trampoline, mats etc. They also had some of the coachs there to have extra eyes on all the kids and make sure the equipment was being used in a safe way. The only drawback was the price, while $12 was a great price for my 6 year old, for the 2 year old, I found it to be too much. He was much more limited on what he could use and for that I think the price should be lower.
Arbitrary mask policy. They make all parents wear them but only half the coaches. So if the policy is for health reasons it should be everyone wears masks. I'm not comfortable going to a place that picks and chooses who follows a public health policy. Most of the fun stations my kids looks forward to are closed as well and they never gave us a heads up before charging us the full amount, and they led us to believe gyms are exempt from masks but then make everyone wear them. Had we known this in advance we would not have signed up.
this is a good place for gymnastics for my daughter it is not far from my house
My 6 year old has been going for 2 years. It's the highlight of his week. The e prices d free reasonable for recreational and his skills have improved immensely
such a great place for kids to learn gymnastics! My son loves it here!
