Awesome place to work out. The only drawback is that you can't bring your kids when no staff present, even though security there. Limiting on weekends. Perhaps an age limit could be imposed?

Very clean and the staff is very friendly. Has a nice selection of equipment considering the size of the gym. Although there are no live group fitness classes, my fiancé likes that they still have a space to do virtual classes.

Put my account on hold for medical reasons for a couple weeks, not only am I still being charged but the employees aren't even remotely trying to help me navigate the fact I am now paying yet blocked from the services. All I get is call H.O. yet when I called they say they are closed and to email, which I then get a response of you will here back in 5 or more days. I have never dealt with such awful client service.

Great facility. Poor management. They forgot to activate my keytag and they would'n give back missed days. It seems to be a corporate culture, not just the manager. Too greedy.

Amazing gym with fabulous staff, never ever feel that large box atmosphere like some other gyms. Friendly and attentive staff are a refreshing treat to walk into before you channel your inner self to get a sweat on. The positive staff and energy flows throughout the club. Always have a great workout when I visit Cochrane GoodLife!!!

The equipment is OK and a nice variety. The music is too quiet to hear, so its useless. The TV channel selection is terrible and not thought at all. I wish for the price we pay that WIFI was supplied. I'm not a fan of the unstaffed hours. Housekeeping isnt that aceptable at times. Overall, I enjoy during off-peak hours the most and I am satisfied with the equipment available. Wish for better TV Channel lineup and Music that can be heard.

I love this gym. The atmosphere is great, a wonderful community feel to it. The gym is really clean and there is lots of equipment to use. The staff are super friendly and Candice was so helpful getting me started. The security to get in is a bit confusing at first but once you're a member its easy to use!

Neighbourhood style club. Love the 24 hour access. Good choice of equipment, and club is well-maintained by an excellent manager. Changerooms a bit cramped and get crowded during busy times. No instructor-led fitness classes; instead there are virtual classes with an overwhelming selection to choose from. There are PTs available for a fee. A good franchise and a great place to work out, if your goal is to simply workout.

Alert: we drove from Calgary to use this location on Sunday just to find out that our key tags have to be approved by Beacon hill manager to gain access to cochrane location. If you don't live in cochrane get your key validated even if you have Canada wide membership.

I haven't been to any other good life to compare but I am pleased with this location. Plenty of equipment so I never feel like I'm waiting for something. Staff is friendly and had a good intro tour of the space. Haven't used all the facilities yet, like the tanning and meditation room but plan to soon.

Love this gym! Candice the manager is awesome, the staff are great, the gym is always clean and the equipment work and are fix quick if broken and the wieght selection is huge!

Scan my card to gain access, scanning went through as someone was trying to exit via same entrance. Once the person got out, tried to rescan to gain access, denied due to scan allowed only once every 30 mins. Ask a gym member to help open the the side door, he was afraid he could lose his membership by letting a fellow member in. Had to drive 30 mins to another location. Horrible system, don’t say it’s a 24 hour location when you can’t reach anyone at the location for help.

I almost couldn't believe I couldn't get in when I went to work out. Like honestly how expensive is it for one person to keep working. I went back got there early enough for the staff to finally be there to let me in. The actual equipment was nice everything was good. Till I tried to take a shower afterwards only to find out I couldn't. Even my crappy underfunded school had operational showers year round. For the fitness center they had. Which was also not staffed. I got my membership in Calgary so I got them to add the towel service only to find out they don't offer that in cochrane. This gym is fine and all just don't expect some of those nicer little details you pay 750 dollars a year for.

Nice facility - too bad they can't keep the men's showers operational. If you prefer to not leave the gym sweaty, you may want to find another gym as the odds seem less than 50/50 of having water in the showers turned on.

My personal favorite, cleanest and newest but smaller gym! It's unmanned after 8:00 pm so you better have your tag and then figure out how to get your access to this gym. Come during staffed hours for the first time to avoid your first unsuccessful entry. Lol

Unfortunately no 24 hours for me as I use the virtual room and today 4 pre-programmed videos so I could not take part, had to go home, kick boxing is way over many peoples ability and it stops you using the available videos - they allow boot camps into the virtual rooms at peak time, I now go elsewhere for my yoga at 7pm why do they not rent it out of peak times say 730 to 830 not in peak times.

Great facility. Very friendly staff especially Candice. Helped me through signing up for my membership when I had difficulty. Even got a follow up email. Started with 14 day trial now just signed up for full membership. Great atmosphere. And so convenient for working night shift. Made it easy signing up online. Just have a quick 10 min visit today to finalize. Definitely recommend to any working/stay at home moms. And great music when you forget your headphones

Immaculately clean, well-equipped and competently run. This place is spacious and bright, without the "dungeon" type atmosphere or odours that plague some of the Gold's conversions. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. By far the best gym in Cochrane.

You can go to any gym with the same equipment, but what sets the Cochrane Goodlife apart from others is the staff. They go out of their way to make you feel at home - from greeting you with a morning joke/riddle to wishing you a good rest of your day on your way out. Not only that but the 7am workout crew feels like your working out with friends.

Well maintained equipment and all the free weights and equipment need to stay swol. Peak hours are 5-7 pm, in the summer it is less crowded, winter is another story but welcome to Ab.

New and clean, great equipment. Only complaint is the lack of a cell phone rule. A rude woman spoke on her brand new iPhone 6+ so the entire gym could hear her rundown with at least 5 different girlfriends gossiping and going over every detail of her mundane life. It was such a joy to listen albeit not willingly. Most people have a touch of class. Leave the cell phone in your locker!!!

super unimpressed with this gym. I purchased a package at a charity silent auction that included a bag, t-shirt and a 1 month pass and a few other misc items. The bag was ripped, the shirt had a hole in it and I tried to redeem the 1 month membership but couldn't because you can only redeem it from the location when someone is there. I called - didnt receive a call back, I called the main office and they were of no help. Its almost like they don't want new members - this was the most difficult gym to join. Good thing there is several other gyms in Cochrane- Ill be joining one of them.

Bare Bones Gym. No towels, No WiFi, two showers per locker room that cant be used after staffed hours, paper+spray to clean equipment (No wipes)....etc. Nothing to standout that this isn't another no-name gym. I purchased an annual corporate membership Friday Jan 08 2016 that gives premium level services (towels) to avoid driving to the office gym in Calgary on weekends. The registration was handled through a 3rd party and I brought their information to this location on Sunday Jan 10 but they hadn't received a member number for me yet (reasonable as i purchased the membership on a Friday) so I accepted only coming in on staffed hours (10-2pm on weekends, soon to just be Saturday). I get a call Tuesday afternoon (Jan 12) that my pass is ready. I pick it up that night only to be told there that it won't let me in until Friday Jan 15 because of their systems. I tried my pass on Saturday Jan 16 and it doesn't work but luckily It was before 2pm. The staff told me that my profile was blank and because my birthday is not in there, the doors wont work. They handed me the same registration form i had already filled out. Assuming my info was somehow lost I filled it out again but the staff then told me they couldn't update the system and i had to call to remind the manager on Monday. I called on Monday and left a detailed message on the situation, asking that they call me back when i'm added to the system. I'm still waiting for resolution and am thinking I might try another Goodlife location to complete the registration. I should add that for a new membership Goodlife as a franchise offers a tour of the facility, a gym bag and free fitness assessment. I was offered none of these.
