Fairly reasonable wait times (if at all) during weekdays. At least 3 weight training track with one of them being in women-only zone. Just be aware that parking and entry to the gym is on the back of the shopping mall.

I love the towerlane Airdrie location. It's open, bright, spacious and very clean! My only "gafah" is that the lockers are so much smaller than the ones at Deerfoot Mall in Calgary. Other than that, the place is well maintained and the equipment is mostly always working. I had a choice to get a membership at Fit 4 Less because its much cheaper and I don't need gym access more than once a week right now, but I couldn't give up my favorite gym. You get very spoiled once you are a Goodlife member :) My wish is that they stop putting on fishing tv shows on the TV as it becomes rather difficult for me to see fish being picked up and killed for dinner.....would rather there be more appropriate tv shows put on..that also DON'T involve cooking cupcakes and forbidden yummy foods.....its very ironic ;)

The staff are always so nice and helpful! I bought personal training and when my initial trainer left, there was no gap on service before Andrea took over. She's great and knows how to design a workout that is challenging but fun! If I try a new exercise and hate it, she finds alternatives. She's also great to chat with and keeps the mood up even when I just want to nap lol. She's a great motivator and pushes me without being too mea .

Awful treatment by manager. I asked if I could come in earlier than my 7 pm start time and receptionist said no problem. Ten minutes on the bike the manager walked into the room to tell me to get off the bike because of the rules they had implemented due to the pandemic. She was absolutely rude this woman; I simply quit the place!

Great place to workout! I love that this gym offers a wide variety of equipment and space. A ladies only section, a turf section, tons of cardio equipment and group fitness rooms. The live instructor classes are super motivating and help hold me accountable to my workout schedule!

Airdrie GL STINKS They not only CANCELED my membership due to non payment but they proceeded to charge me start up fee, despite transferring from Ontario to Alberta, but, they charged me an extra 130 bucks for the month for, I don't know what. I am in the process of TRYING to recoup my money back. On the topic of the gym, the women's gym is a joke. Hardly any equipment or place to warm up or stretch. You can't get off of the elliptical because someone is trying to do walking lunges behind you due to room restrictions. The bathroom, two stalls, TWO! Always dirty. They have maintenance men ALWAYS in the women's gym, I guess posting a sign saying Men in the area is suppose to mean something. I could go on, but waste of time.

The best gym I’ve ever been too compared to the ones in Calgary. The staff is amazing, friendly and very approachable. The management team definitely changed it around. The change rooms, showers and steam room are always so clean. Lots of equipment. The classes are so much fun. Seriously feels like a home away from home. I’ve had a personal trainer, Emma at this gym for over a year now and she has definitely helped me through my fitness journey — physically and mentally. Not only does it feel like I achieved MY fitness goal but it feels like we both did it together! I’ve also taken my siblings for teen fitness over the summer and they love this gym because of the people here.

This is easily the worst Goodlife I have ever been to. The desk attendants are rude - I had to wait several minutes for one of the staff to let me in because she was too busy talking to her friend. She saw me waiting but wouldn't let me pass the girl she was talking to to scan through. None of the staff so much as SMILE. The TVs never seem to be working propery. The worst part though...are the gym goers. Has no one heard of a garbage can?! Old paper towels all over the place, magazines are everywhere which annoys me, and the locker/cupboard doors are always left open. Like is it actual toddlers who go here? I am disgusted. I have been to a few locations in Ontario and they were all OUTSTANDING so this place came as a huge shock.

The biggest positive is that they're usually empty so you can have the place to yourself most of the time, also the steam room. Staff is also friendly here and not too invasive of privacy like the deerfoot one is... So this one gets a higher rating.

My husband and I have been going here for a few years and we really enjoy this gym. Our favourite is the amazing, friendly and caring women who work and volunteer in the childminding. We drop our 2 little ones (a baby and a toddler) off and feel totally safe and at ease with them being there. They take such great care of all the kids there and are a wonderful group of ladies.

Incredibly thankful to the management and staff of Airdrie GoodLife for re-opening the gym in safe and friendly manner. Have never seen the gym this clean and orderly. Everyone is doing their part. It’s awesome!!! The staff is always friendly and even though the employees wear masks, you can still see smiles in their eyes. Also appreciate the online booking system. While you can still go as a walk-in for an hour appointment, I find that booking every morning at 6 am has given me added motivation to get up and do my workouts instead of hitting the snooze button!!! Thanks for all you do at GoodLife ????

Unacceptable place!! I went in to put money on my account and they could not take my money! All I had was cash and had a day full of appointments so i made time to go in and pay and they refused my cash as they did not want my 100 bill. Then when I called them and tried to arrange something a few weeks later they all of a sudden were not able to take my money as my BFs bank information was on it. When I asked why was I able to pay it when I was in the store and now I have to have the BF to come in and pay I was told it was a "new" policy. Useless! Would rather pay to go to snap!

Updated August 19th 2017 I gave it another chance and still a bad gym. Worst goodlife I've ever been to and I've been all over Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia Goodlife facilities. The desk attendant staff are very rude; customer service is none existing. The management is a joke. Hopefully they clean house soon because I see more and more people just drive to Calgary to use the other Goodlife facilities.

Men's locker room always stinks. Bad ventilation or plumbing maybe? Equipment is broken or "under maintenance" way too often. Never seems to be enough of the right machines, and too many of the wrong ones. Only 5 stairmasters of which usually 3 are working and they're always taken, and yet there are dozens of treadmills and stationary bikes which don't see any action. Layout is awkward now that the entrance is in back. Windows where there should be mirrors. Staff are polite and attentive but perhaps held back by penny pinching upper management. Not near enough parking.

Don't bring your kids here!!! I no longer have a membership as once it was cancelled they continued to charge me.. I dropped off my son at the child care, and he was put in the bouncy chairs, and an hour a half later, when I go to get him, he's in the same exact place. He's screaming to get out. And the staff are huddled in a corner gossiping. Ignoring my kid. I fought hard to stop paying for childcare, and they kept telling me it was part of my package. Front desk ladies are constantly rude. Do not care about you.

As with most of Canada, my wife and I have been easing back into pre-covid routines at the gym. It can be daunting to resume a workout routine after a break of several months (yes, we were pandemic slackers). Having said that, the early shift staff at GoodLife in Airdrie are top notch, always smiling (even through the masks) and going the extra mile to keep the equipment and change rooms clean and safe - and all with a cheery attitude, even at six in the morning! So a big shout out to Jack, Murial, and Julie on the early morning crew at GoodLife in Airdrie! You are very much appreciated!

Pros -Less busy than Sunridge or Deerfoot -Being able to do a workout as you please. Most of the time, all equipments/machines/benches are vacant. Cons -Limited parking spaces -Build up of broken machines -Men's washroom dryer has been broken for awhile (Side note) -The staff here are ok. Most of the time, I don't really see anyone at the entrance. Having to let myself in. Deerfoot's staff greets people better...

I been a good life member for 5 years, this club doesn’t put a cent back into maintaining the gear in this facility. The hand dryer has been broken in the bathroom for 8 months, at 65 dollars a month per member you would think they could service broken equipment, treadmills, ect.

I have had the worst experience with Good life in Airdrie. There is a personal trainer ( Hanna) who is also a manager there .. that is extremely hard to deal with on ANY level. I have had multiple arguments with her about me being in the gym and training. She has made my workouts difficult to say the least. I would not recommend this gym to anyone! take my advise and drive the distance to another gym. Hanna is rude, has no idea on the term" customer service" she is stubborn and thinks she is the best and everyone else is beneath her. I talked with the other manager about her and he states to just be respectful and walk away. That is the solution? not to fix the problem but have all the gym members to walk around on egg shells? If there was someone to complain to about this I totally would, using social media in hopes that the other members of Good life that have also experienced the negative atmosphere here will also complain, than maybe something will change. I am a fitness competitor and for the first time I feel ashamed to say I workout at Good life Fitness. I rate this as a 1 star but that is not even just!

Amazing that it’s open 24/7, extremely convenient. There have been ongoing issues with the cleanliness of the change rooms. Also the showers are almost always out of shampoo. I’ve brought this up with the staff, but it’s always been dismissed or they blame other staff members or the cleaners for the state of it. Nice location, nice hours, but it feels like the staff and owners need to care more. *EDIT* This location has made some great strides in cleanliness, great to see that the issues above have been dealt with.

The gym is for sure one of the best in Airdrie. But recently it has not been consistent with their rules at all. Favouring there friends or people that already work there. Very unethical system and not by the employees but by the actual manager. She is very rude and racist, she does not only yell and disrespect people if there is a misunderstanding but she doesn’t allow you to give your opinion and uses the advantage if someone’s English isn’t as well as hers. Very unacceptable and inadequate to be a manager and does not imply policies in a fair manner. She does not know how to solve an issue and only escalated the problem. Very disappointed because there has never been a problem in the last 6 years that we have been going there. I recommend the place but sadly the manager makes you want to leave. When she made up a new regulation to benefit her friends, the next week that regulation was followed then when another person asked about it furiously, she(manager) got very angry and started yelling like crazy and was not able to control herself instead of trying to see both sides of the story and realize that the regulation she made was followed but not in her favour. Clearly has no respect, self control, politeness or impartiality for her clients/customers and only benefits her friends. Again very disappointing and will come back if something is done or changed!????????

Love the setup of place but the staff are very inconsistent. Im told one thing, then the next time I come back rules are totally different. They always double charge me, and numerous of friends have had issues with staff here. Sadly the staff are also treated very poorly by one of there gm's. This goodlife really needs to re-evaluate there management team.

I don't even want to give this place one star. I paid for my 2 year membership plus $5000.00 for a personal trainer. Then when I try to cancel because I haven't used their gym for 6 months they try and charge me another payment. I then receive a call from them telling me that I need to give 30 days notice to cancel my month to month membership! I am no longer on contract however if I do not pay them again for they will probably send me to collections. Unbelievable! You also have to book an appointment to cancel your membership in which they make you sign a cancellation fee and the people that are sitting with you don't even make you aware that you will have to make one more payment. Probably because they don't even know. Be careful when you think about getting a membership at this gym. I am sure there are others that are more clear in their contracts and more clear in their cancellations. It is a sad state when companies have to operate this way.

Wow, where to start. This place is disgusting. The mens room is always dirty, people put their dirty wet shoes in the lockers and no one ever cleans them. The overnight maintenance staff should atleast wipe down the inside of the dirty lockers. Most of the equipment is in KG instead of LBS and the equipment is very dated. It seems that Goodlife Fitness doesn't care much about cleanliness. I have towel service with them as well and a lot of the towels that I get from them are ripped or are dirty. I'm in aviation so I travel to many Goodlife's across Canada and I must admit this is the least clean of them all. I've brought this up with club staff and management many times and they don't seem to care.

I went to this GoodLife location while visiting from Edmonton for the weekend. I’m moving to Calgary in a few weeks and figured I would check out some gyms to see where I’d like to get a membership. I have two friends that are already members here, so I decided to tag along for a workout and was extremely unimpressed with the girl working at the front desk, named Yasmeen. After my friends checked in, I asked if I could sign up for a trial pass to try out the gym, and she proceeded to tell me I had to book an appointment just to access a trial. Upon that information, I agreed to do the drop in for $25 and gave her my ID. She then asked me if it was my current address and asked rudely “if it was even me” while gesturing to my ID picture. Upon allowing me in, she then has the nerve to say “please don’t steal anything, we’ve had a lot of theft here recently.” EXCUSE ME!?? Not to mention the fact she also had headphones in the entire time. And to question me like that in front of my friends as well is straight up embarrassing and who does she think she is?? Not sure if she’s just rude, or if my race had anything to do with it, but either way I sure as hell will not be signing up for a membership here, please do something about her.

All over happy with this location! Classes are run by true professionals who know how to motivate and make you feel great. The front desk staff are always greeting you with their smiles and keep us updated when there are events or contests going on. I love the steam room and massage chairs for some after workout tlc. I cannot forget the amazing ladies at JUMP...they are absolute angels!

I went to check out the gym with my husband, but the manager, I think her name was Jill was very unwelcoming, falling in the rudeness, totally turned us off, we won't be coming back, and I noticed she was mistreating other people as well. Very disappointing, Airdrie so far has been a nice community to us, and this was not a good experience. People skills are extremely important specially when you're dealing with the customers face to face. A need for inclusion and fairness needs to be implemented in this gym and respect above all.

The main positive is the fact the gym is usually dead so no waiting on equipment. But considering I live in Airdrie and would rather drive into Calgary for a nicer gym with a WAY better childcare. The childcare here is a joke and after attempting to resolve any issues (to your face they are obviously "going to do everything to fix the issue and get back to you" but never do ) the girls are lazy and rude. And not to mention it is very known that they don't like babies and will let them cry basically the whole time. Don't bring babies here!

But you can’t blame all the washroom cleanliness on the staff because of scum bag city slickers. Bought a membership for my underage child and I had to sign the contract. She used it for a few months and hasn't used it since. It still has a few months left and I wanted to use it for myself since she is not and I am paying for it. I was told I cannot do that even though she is underage and I am paying for it and signed the contract. Contracted customer service and the same response. They will do nothing for me. Will never ever go here ever! Just wasted $600

GoodLife Airdrie is amazing! The club is large and very well equipped. Machines are cared for and maintained. The gym is well stocked with weight and multiple machines of the same type so availability is rarely and issue. The staff keep the gym immaculately clean. With the pandemic, cleaning of equipment is continuous and there is availability of wipes and sanitizer everywhere. The staff are outstanding! They genuinely care about their members and work so hard to make the club experience enjoyable! They make you feel like part of the family everyday! I have been going to this gym consistently for 5 years. It is, by far, the best gym I have been to. I highly recommend this club!

This is my main GoodLife I go to and I really enjoy it. The only issue I have is that you have to walk through the entire gym to reach the change rooms and I think that's a little strange. The overall layout of the machines is really well done and I like the wide array of machines available.

Paid over $100 for a fitness evaluation, should have been free. The whole purpose of it was to sell me personal training, they should include this as part of their marketing. Have been trying to change my membership type, and so far the front desk keeps giving me excuses and telling me paying more is better for me...??? Equipment is ok, but there aren’t enough classes.

My goal is to try as many Goodlife licationa as i can. Airdrie did not disappoint...a big spacious location, very clean and equipmwnt is well placed .i teally liked the star track machines, they were ergonomic and made my weight session enjoyable and productive.

Shaye is awesome! She always has a smile on her face when I am coming in and greets each and every client coming into the gym. If I ever have an issue she is attentive and gives the customer her full attention. Would definitely recommend this gym very friendly staff!

Honestly where do i start?!?! The reviews on here are far from the truth. I think all the one stars must be from unhappy customers that quit going to the gym but still had to pay. The staff here is friendly, i get greeted while entering and exiting. The equipment is some of the best of seen in any gym, they have the largest free weight selection, multiple machines for same muscle groups, crossfit area, spin area, and a room for all the group classes. Not to mention if you need anything they deliver, you just need to ask. I have used multiple gyms, i used to be a world health member for 3 or 4 yrs, i went to multiple locations, i have been to multiple locations of goodlife, ive been to talisman/repsol and many other leisure centers and airdrie goodlife is the best when it comes to weightlifting/exercising. I feel like most of the bad reviews are dishonest. For those that have been to multiple goodlifes, i feel like i am being spoiled coming here, I never have to wait for equipment EVER, so im not sure how this is the worst one you have been too. The only downside is a lot of people look like theyre on the juice, even the females, however thats not goodlifes problem. I highly recommend this gym. I just found myself a trainer for some mobility work and i will let everyone know what i think after a few sessions. Dont let the bad reviews steer you in the wrong direction. Its practically new and everything is up to date. There is always parking but sometimes you have to walk 100 yards. The people complaining, must not need the exercise.

Yesterday, I was informed I cannot use the club without c19 vaccine or negative test. Flat out discrimination. You guys are contributing to a two tier society. It really is disturbing to see this in Canada. Time will show how wrong these actions you are taking.

First off nice gym. But there full of S. 24/7 gym. Interesting why is it closed as I sit in front of it. My last gym at anytime fitness was always accessable any day any time. I don't mind good life but to find this out now is a real isn't cool but I should have known that there was reason I'd steered clear for so many years......

Most of the equipment is always broken or not working properly, it’s clean though and the hours I go are fairly slow, the front desk is empty most of the time.

I am very disappointed with the sneakiness of this company. My two year membership expires in January so I assumed that was it. I just realized that I am still getting charged 50 dollars a month even though my membership is over. They told me on the phone that they cannot reimburse me and that it was probably written in fine print. I will never sign up with this company again.

Nice and big. Staff are GREAT, Not all the TV's work on machines and the men's shower stall are very hard to close.

I've been going to this gym for almost a year now, definitely want to point out that the staff a more then exceptional and professional at what they do, Yasemeen especially has played a part in myself and my girlfriend sticking with the gym for so long she's always friendly and has been more then helpful with teaching us some of the techniques and how to use the equipment at the gym.
