I had been shopping around for some time for a decent squat rack at a reasonable price. None of the other Fitness and Gym equipment suppliers came close to what Flaman Fitness offer when it comes to variety, quality and price. I received excellent service and a great price on the equipment I purchased. If you are in the market for new gym equipment I would highly recommend visiting Flaman Fitness before making a purchase at another Supplier.

Just went into the store and spent almost an hour shopping, trying to support a local business near Christmas. As an individual with a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask, I was without a face covering but was one of two people shopping I'm their giant warehouse. After coming to the counter to try to purchase my items the staff told me I need to put a mask on. I let them know that I am exempt and they let me know they do not honor exemptions. I looked over and one of their staff was without a mask, but they said that is because she is behind plexiglass (while I was also standing on the other side of plexiglass). The manager came.down and told me he is within his legal right to not serve me and not honor the medical exemption. This is very sad, discriminatory act, and disappointing act of humanity at this time. I do not recommend this store and will be filing a human rights complaint.

Awful ! Went in to buy items for a home gym. No hello, wondered for awhile . Some guy came up asked what we were there for . We told him and he just said we dont have any till next week and then walked away. Looked around for more items and both people completely ignored we were even there. Called the west edmonton mall location right in there store and they were helpful at least. On our way there to spend my money.

In 2016, I bought a Lifespan Treadmill from them. It was a floor model. In the four years I've had it the motor control board and/or drive motor have failed three times. The last time was after the extended warranty expired. In dealing with Flaman Fitness and Lifespan, it was revealed that my floor model treadmill bought in late 2016 was made in 2010. I was never informed of this at time of purchase. Because it's so old, it is now almost impossible to get parts for it. It's coming up on two months since it broke and all I've been given is a runaround by Flaman and Lifespan. I've now been waiting almost two weeks for a manager to call me because the service department can no longer help me--they can sell me an old motor control board for $500 but they can't guarantee that motor control board will last . My favourite moment was when I was told that I was lucky to have had such a long warranty on a floor model because they would never offer that warranty now. I had to remind them that I purchased the warranty so I don't see how I was lucky. I highly recommend not buying a Lifespan Treadmill. And I highly recommend not purchasing any fitness equipment from Flaman Fitness. They sold me a treadmill that was six years old at the time of purchase.

I have had quite a few bad experiences at this location, from rude staff members to just getting no help at all, this most recent review from Brandy tops what I been through. I would like to take a moment and comment on this from someone who works in health care. First off Brandy was in your store for an hour looking around, shopping with no face covering, it was not busy at all The question here isn't why she came to the counter without a mask (a plexi covered counter which I will get into later) The question is why was she walking around without a mask on for as long as she did without being approached even once, it was only when she went to the counter was she confronted by bullies. This seems to be more a concern of terrible customer service than anything else.. Now the shield at the front desk, this is offers more protection than a mask, it has been proven and tested. When behind there it is to protect the two individuals interacting with each other. What happened here was completely unacceptable. I believe the manager who came down to speak to her is Jason, as he usually says his name on all the negative reviews for this place. I have had an encounter with this gentleman before and he is very condescending. I am disappointed to learn of this situation and how it was handled, and I do agree this is a human rights issue.

I’ve previously dealt with a store in Calgary and I was far from satisfied. I ordered directly online this time and received fantastic service from Carter. I was notified as soon as my order was received and given an arrival window. My product showed up at the store ready for pick up earlier than expected and received updates along the way. I highly recommend dealing with Carter even if you don’t live near Edmonton.

I recently purchased a Progression Fitness exercise bench from this location to add to my home gym collection. Everyone was very friendly when I came in and one of the manager's named Ryan helped me pick out the best bench for me at the price point I had previously decided on. They have a great selection of pretty much anything exercise related you could ever need and they are very welcoming and accommodating. Thank you Ryan, for setting me up with this bench!

I have previously purchased product with this location and had great service over the phone and from the shipping person but went into the store today and I can say I don't think I've ever received such rude customer service. The attitude of all 3 salesmen working that Saturday was unkind to each customer they were helping and when I approached someone for help, the response was very rudely "do you need something?" Definitely will not be hurrying back to this location. I understand people are stressed at this time but the store was not busy, customers had masks and sanitized as they entered and above all, this is supposed to be a place to make people feel positive about their wellness goals.

I just received my demo elliptical from Kevin Tung at Flaman Fitness on the Yellowhead. Despite being a demo, it was a $1600, and the sales procedure went very well. Upon purchase I was told by Kevin the the elliptical would be completely cleaned and serviced. We received the elliptical today, and it hasn't been cleaned. See attached pics. I contacted the sales manager, and his remarks were that sales staff are responsible for cleaning the purchase prior to delivery, but unfortunately Kevin was on a training course for two days. So basically the manager failed to check his employees assigned job, and then blamed his staff. He adamantly stated the unit had been serviced prior to it leaving the warehouse. How do I believe that, if he was incompetent in ensuring his absent employees pass on their duties to another staff member. I'm assuming that he'd be aware of their absence, and ensure their customers purchases are completed properly. If you purchase a demo unit, insure it gets cleaned. The Sales Manager didn't offer to come over and clean the unit. He just continued to say it it was serviced, and to contact the service manager if there's any issues with it mechanically. I'd suggest the sales manager take a one week course on basic management, and learn that you should dismiss customers and then blame their subordinates. Hopefully others have a better experience that I did.

11/10 from start to finish. Jordan Foley was awesome and helped us build our home gym. His service was honest, personable, and with our best interests in mind. We received great customer service from our first visit all the way until the equipment was dropped off. Our equipment quality was also great compared to the competitors squat racks and benches. The stuff we have is very sturdy. Set up took a 4 hours all by myself but doable. The instructions are basically an exploded picture of the entire thing so pay attention to detail! My wife and I will for sure be shopping with Flaman again! Thanks!

I currently work as the contents manager with a Property Restoration company. I needed assistant with some exercise equipment that required pick up, service and storage. We usually use Flaman Fitness with most of our exercise equipment. I was on the phone with a service representative by the name of Karen. I needed some information to see if they serviced Peloton Bikes and she wasn't sure. As she was having a conversation with me she was on her computer to google any information with this brand. At the same time I too was on my computer also searching any info. I then was asking her is they serviced a different brand and she rudely said she had another call and hung up. Is this for real?? For future claims I will contact other companies that deal with exercise equipment before I even think of using Flaman Fitness!!
