Very spacious ATF with floor to ceiling windows on two faces, tonnesof parking and the best furnished location in Edmonton. There is a major transit centre, shopping mall, and plenty of parking and public library down the street. For those that need a sugary 'workout' drink, the local loonie toonie store sells Gatorade for a buck. If one works out more than two or three hours, sometimes it's just nice to chill and they are the only one I've seen with more than two fat upholstered easy chairs. There are, IIRC, about six big square easy chairs. Like all but a couple of ATF locations, this place is never at capacity. I've canvassed other members who are more regular there and everyone is unanimous: you never have to wait for equipment.

This is probably the best gym I have ever been to. Not just the equipments, cleanliness & all those things but this gym is top notch for its customer service. Just recently I had an unfortunate situation with my credit report and I called up the gym regarding this. The manager was extremely respectful & listened to my situation calmly. He helped me throughout the process & spent a lot of time dealing with the debt collection compnay for me without any incentive at all. See, every gym would be good to you if you pay on time & till nothing goes wrong. But there are very few clubs who will stand by you & listen to you when things don't go as plan. So that's the reason am giving them five stars. Cheers.

I would give this place NEGATIVE stars if I could. Please bare with me First, the owner's name is ALI not Rob. I noticed that the person who responds to the reviews wrote that, and I thought that was funny. Many people I know have complained. I canceled my membership around a month ago and the person was extremely rude, and made the situation entirely more difficult then it needed to be. He said for me to "stop being a baby" needless to say they're very unprofessional. The owner is the one who makes all the decisions if they say they need a few days to talk to head office they're lying they can get in touch with the owner in a matter of minutes. Don't be fooled please avoid this place at all cost if you have any common sense.

Great service and friendly staff. Patrick (and the other girl that works there) will make sure you are taken care of whether you are a member that is joining or leaving! This branch is transparent and honest in their dealings. If they say they will refund you something, they will follow through. Other gyms should take notes

Worst experience ever. Request to everyone do not go for quick membership. Just read the information properly because when we are in the gym they are doing buttering like we are easily go for sign in without reading the email. So when you guys want to leave the gym due to valid reason they charge you more. During the sign they give you tablet and stand nearby you to go through early. Be aware.

not sure how often this facility is cleaned. spray bottles to clean equipment were all empty, the rags seem to never be replaced. bathrooms get cleaned maybe once a week. sinks don’t have warm water. garbage on the floors where the lockers are. looking forward to my 30 days so i can change locations. do not recommended this location. UPDATE one of the bathrooms hasn’t had soap in like 2 weeks ???????????? also there have been the same yellow rags to wipe the equipment since i got my membership 3 weeks ago. i can tell because of the same stains on the rags, and they feel crusty ????

I have been a member of Anytime Fitness Millwoods for almost a month now and I must say that I am very pleased with the Facility. The staff and members are all friendly and the facility is kept very clean especially considering that the staffed hours are limited. I would definitely recommend this gym to others

Love this place. 24 hour access. The right amount of equipment and not crazy busy. No pushy sales staff trying to upsell you. Nobody passing judgement. Location close to home and one close to work plus access to over 3000 other locations. Lots of Pros and very few Cons.

A few days ago I left a negative review of this location due to the actions of a man named Jim who misrepresented himself as the owner. Thankfully the actual owner Rob contacted me to smoothen things out. He took the time to hear my issues fairly and acted like a true businessowner. In the end I chose to stay with Anytime Fitness thanks to the professionalism of Rob. I wanted to be treated fairly and he gave me that proper treatment. Thanks Rob!

I recently went to this location to get a membership. I had to cancel my appointment but still received a phone call inquiring as to whether or not I was coming in for my appointment. Needless to say the person that I spoke to was extremely rude and blamed me for ruining her day off and then called me a liar as apparently my phone number did not come up on the call display. I asked if this person checked the voicemail messages to which she indicated that she hadn't. I was quite upset and at that point did not even want to continue with getting a membership. I sent a message to the owner who called me within 2 minutes of sending him a message. I explained the issue to him and he was extremely apologetic. I was really impressed with not only how fast he got back to me but the fact that I was able to speak to the owner himself. I felt confident that I was heard and that he handled my concern quickly and professionally. I went in a few hours later and spoke to Scott, who is the regional manager, who was also very apologetic. I am satisfied with the way everything was handled and the solution to the issue. I am definitely getting a membership at this location of Anytime Fitness. Amazing customer service!!!

The equipment in the gym is great and new. Although, there is a big issue with people not wiping down equipment after use, it would be great if this was enforced more as it’s a bit gross picking up equipment that people have sweated and coughed over in the middle of pandemic (I mean equipment should’ve been wiped down regardless of that lol) Other than that, staff are great and it’s a good place to workout

Very poor customer service all around. There is not one aspect of this gym that is positive. Stay far far away. I gave 60 days notice when they require 30 to cancel and still they charged me an extra 2 months on top.

Not a single other person wearing a mask. Not even walking between machines! Rarely do I see people cleaning equipment and staff are here super sparsely. The person trainer working with a client isn’t even wearing a mask and she’s not doing any physical activity.

I am current member of gym from last two years but looks like time to move to another facility. All is going bad here.. removed sitting table from rest room. Removed towel paper from facility.. removed soap shelfs from shower room and make machines so close its hazard when we move weighs from machine.. 6 months ago this gym was 4.5 stars but now I don’t even give one star.

It is an amazing gym. The Manager and staff listen to all concerns and rectify it asap. Security is very high here so I feel safe leaving my belongings around the gym. Unlike Good life where I had my stuff stolen numerous times. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

This Anytime Fitness location is by far the cleanest and well run location I've been to. I had my membership at this club for years, it is the only one where the staff and managers were easy to get a hold of and most of all extremely helpful. They're response time is unmatched to other locations I've been to or other friends of mine have been to. If you're looking to signup with an Anytime fitness club I can't recommend this one enough.

ZERO STARS. Terrible experience, charged me $250 fraudulently for a person coming into the gym when I was leaving. Would show no evidence of wrongdoing and dodged all attempts to get more info. Extremely rude when finally contacted them using another phone. They will steal as much money from you as they can. DO NOT USE.

Avoid this place. Pointed out some issues regarding the gym when I had a trail pass. I signed up the membership after they promised me to fix the problem. HOWEVER，NO single issue has been solved since then. Sent them email as well, NO RESPONSE!!! poor management and customer services. i am definitely going to cancel my membership.

Large, open gym with large range of equipment and friendly staff eager to assist if the need arises. Low wait times for equipment - if any - with a decked out studio space (Boxing, Spin bikes, kettlebells, etc.) and complimentary tanning services. Access to one gym is access to every gym around the world, so anything that isn’t here is likely at another local Anytime Fitness.

5 ZERO stars. Owner doesn't do anything and his business partner is a fraud. He charged me for something that is not in the contract. He give out wrong name of himself.His staff told me that he has law suit against he has scammed many people and not trustworthy .He owns multiple gyms in the city. I highly recommend not joining .Headquarter has emailed him many time about my issue but he provide them with wrong information too or doesnt reply for days.Thanks to his employees who told us so much about him .I have made everyone i know aware of this scam management . BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FRAUD!!!!!!!.REFUND ME MY MONEY. FRAUD Comapny and owner!!!!

Love this location! Patrick helped me sign up for a membership tonight and he was amazing to work with. He explained everything extremely clearly and went above and beyond to get me set up and ready to work out. The place was also extremely clean even though it was quite busy when I was there so props to him for keeping the place up!

Overall a decent gym to get you into shape. If you are planning to go there to use a huge selection of equipment I wouldn’t recommend signing up just because it is very limited. If you are advance and know how to use certain equipment to your benefit to body build / strength training then you can’t go wrong because it is cheaper than the bigger gyms currently paying 41.99 monthly . For someone’s 1st time ever into a gym I would recommend this gym. It’s very clean has good washrooms and nice staff when ever I go. Not usually busy during rush hours 4-730 pm. Decent parking but could be packed depending on the other business near by.

People are always scrambling for free weights. There is only 1 set dumbbells. e.g If you need 30 and you see someone working with 30 already, you gotta wait. While Nobody is waiting for others to finish on machines. But many people can't find the weights they need. Suggestion: Swap one of the least used machines and get another set of dumbbells maybe.

I cancel my memebership in may! I signed up for the month to month plan paid $154.97 and cancel it after six days and I asked for a refund! There's a blond lady that works there every time I show up to the gym she ignores me or says yeah I am waiting for the head office To send me an email.??! It's been months and I want my money back! You guys are scamming people and that's not right!! I am getting really frustrated! I send you guys emails and nothing is happening!! During the pandemic the gym can be a scary place. This facility is spotless. Sanitation supplies and hand sanitizer is provided with social distancing between cardio equipment. Staff was excellent as well. Ask for Patrick. Extremely professional and welcoming.

I got charged 562$ for letting 2 GYM MEMBERS in .However the contract says no guests allowed.I called owner multiple times but he has not resolved my issue.It has been over 2 months.Very poor customer service .Will not recommend it to anyone.

Went here to sign up for 7day trial pass, they are not around on weekends so I went in on Tuesday to pick up my pass and they back dated it to the 2nd when I signed up online, I hadnt even used the gym yet. I asked how I get into the club when they are offsite and was told there should be a number by the door to call. I was not shown around, didn't get any info on sign up fees or anything. Decided maybe he was busy, would come back the next day. Came back the next day only during the hours they have staff onsite because I would be pretty mad if I came to the gym and the so called number didnt work as he seemed quite unsure. I waited outside at -34 ringing the doorbell as I could see the guy washing the floor and I stood there ringing it over and over 5 minutes later the guy finally let me in and asked if he could help me, I stated I was in the day before talking to the same person and I had signed up for a free pass and he just let me in and I went on my way to a workout. I thought how unprofessional and unwelcoming. I currently have a membership at fitforless whuch is much less money and it is much more professional and friendly . I want to finish my free trial as this place is so close to my house but I do Not want to stand in the cold waiting for someone to let me in and do not want to have to workout only when someone is onsite as it is quite inconvenient being that those are peak hours.
