The sales experience at Yorkdale Volkswagen, from the first call to the moment we drove out of your garage with a new vehicle, was, hands down, the worst experience – period! We wonder how Volkswagen Canada continues to have their brand, represented by your dealership and its sales staff and processes. Sales representatives (we dealt with) were clearly unorganized, not truthful, cannot make decisions and are not respective of the customer’s time or COVID protocols. Based off of vehicle servicing. Went in for tire exchange and was told I needed safety work done (my vehicle was making a noise that I was aware of). I agreed to it “fixed” based off their suggestions and expertise and I was told 4hrs later that my car was good to go ($1700 later). As soon as I started driving it, I knew it was not fixed. The exact same sound was there. I brought it back right away and I was told that there was nothing wrong and I asked if they even took it for a drive. They said yes, but they would take it out for “another” drive. When they brought it back they determined that it was my shock now (they did work at the back where the noise was from. I guess they couldn’t tell it was a shock. They managed to diagnose it and show me though, but pushing on my vehicle (which I was told from my father that that’s what he thought it was). I should have trusted my father over these “professionals.” I guess my 30 point inspection didn’t include that either. I was then told I would get a call with a quote the next business day, which I didn’t. I had to call them and was quoted a full price and no apologies for the day before. To make matters worse, the previous time I was there and had an oil change, my vehicle started leaking oil that they didn’t have time to look at when I brought it back. I bought some oil and had to keep adding it. I finally made it to another vw dealership where they looked at my vehicle for free and couldn’t believe that my cap was never put back in properly. They were even more shocked to know it was from another vw dealership. I never told mentioned this to them, as nothing happened to my vehicle and I only had to pay for some oil out of my own pocket. After this last incident I have decided that I will not be going back there unless it is an emergency and I have no choice. I have been going to them for years and have noticed over the last few years that the service has gone downhill very fast. It is unfortunate.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO GET FIXED HERE Seems like buying a car from here is a 5 start experience but their service department is a 1 star. Check for yourself all 1 stars are service team. Yorkdale Volkswagen called me two weeks ago to follow up on my 1 star review (shown in my picture). After talking to them and thinking they may actually want to redeem themselves for the terrible service and screwing me out any repairs covered under warranty, I never heard back and I realise they just wanted to make it look like the actually did something for anyone looking at the reviews. But just like with my car they were too lazy to actually fix anything. Disappointed with them twice and giving them another 1 star for their poor service, at least this time it didn't cost $150 for them to do nothing.

Although I love my car and would buy another VW, the service at the service department at this location has been extremely poor. The wait time is usually hours, there is always something expensive to fix when you go. Recently my sunroof that is under warranty was leaking, and they essentially told me they needed it for 2 days and did not offer any other solutions. As I understand there are other appointments in the queue before myself, the fact that I was offered no other solution for a vehicle (i.e., a rental) is extremely disappointing to me. I will not be buy another vehicle from this location because of the poor service I have been given for the past 3 years.

We worked with Daniel (Danny) to purchase a new VW Atlas. Danny was absolutely amazing, he was very knowledgable about the product, very responsive, and made the whole process seamless. We were initially quite set on getting a Telluride or a Pallisade, but after having terrible experiences at multiple KIA and Hyundai dealerships, it was very refreshing to meet Danny who absolutely exceeded our expectations. While certainly, after test driving the Atlas, we also really liked the car, it was Danny's approach to the sale that really made the difference and won us both over. Since getting the car we have had a few follow-up questions, and Danny resolved them all. In fact, we had bought roof racks and thought we lost the keys for them within 2 days of ownership. We had to bring in the car for a different matter and within about 5 minutes Danny had found the keys under the seat in the car, even though we had spend hours looking... This is the type of service you can expect and I would highly recommend anyone coming in to ask for Danny. I should note, this is the second car we have bought from Yorkdale VW, first working with Artur, and both times the experience has been amazing. The service shop is also responsive and in general I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a VW. THANKS DANNY!

Incredible experience buying my first car. A great experience! While having my aging Jetta serviced, I had a conversation with George, a Pre-Owned salesperson, about replacing my car with a newer GTI. He was welcoming, courteous and wasn't the least bit pushy. While the dealer didn't have what I was looking for at the time, George assured me he'd let me know if something came up. After only a couple weeks, I got an email from George saying that pretty much the exact car I had described had just arrived at the dealership and would be made available for sale soon.
