Amazing food and brand new renovated venue.

If you want to know what it's like to have a family member own a golf course, simply go here and they will treat you as such. I was absolutely astounded by how freely the manager devoted his time to ensure my sister's wedding (planned from start to finish in 2 weeks) went off without a hitch. The food was fantastic, the service was great, the venue was immaculate, and when our photographer was delayed by an accident on the highway, he reached out to a personal friend who lived close by to help take photos until she arrived. Despite being the first wedding here, we had an experienced event coordinator oversee all the small details and she really went above and beyond. I simply cannot say enough about Oxford Hills and their staff; I look forward to seeing them succeed in the years to come!

Course is in decent shape but still needs some cleaning up; lots of dirt on the fairways etc. We were extremely disappointed as this was our first time playing since renos and we got completely rained out on the 4th hole and they refused to give us a rain check for 18 holes. It wasn't just a light mist but a torrential downpour, nothing we could wait out especially seeing as the clubhouse isn't finished. Definitely not impressed with the customer service.

My daughters wedding was hosted at Mount Elgin Golf club and it was a 10 out of 10. The owners are fantastic to work with, the food was fantastic, they did a superb job. I always expect to have some problems but this was over the top. Best time ever. The golfing is fantastic, what a beautiful fun course to play. Thanks for making my son and law and daughters day superb.

I have been looking for a local golf club to join since moving to Tillsonburg in April. I have not had an opportunity to play Oxford Hills yet, but I did stop by this weekend for a bite to eat. Even though the main club house is not open due to construction, the patio at the awesome halfway house is one of the most enjoyable patios in the region! Well appointed, great views, good service and amazing food! The burger and buttermilk chicken sandwich were well executed, tasty and presented very well. I can't wait to see the full offering once the foodservice team have a completed facility to create in! I am a chef and have worked in hospitality, hotel & golf management during my career and must say that Oxford Hills is a refreshing and exciting change from the usual, boring, stuffy & mundane. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing your 2022 membership rates as I have a feeling I may want to join!

Difficult course - well maintained. Narrow fairways with lots of trees lining the sides. Hit straight or be prepared to scramble for a good score. Greens are fast!!

The layout of this course is stellar with more improvements coming! Looking forward to seeing the final product but so far this course is world's different than the old one. Worth the drive and great value for the money. Staff are wonderful and food at the restaurant is delicious! I highly recommend the burger!!

Great track, good balance between forgiving fairway widths, hazards and challenging shots. Green speed and firmness makes this course much tougher than expected. Tricky pin placements at times will challenge better players.Worth the money every time.

Although I haven't played the 'new' course yet, it seems a little pricey considering it's not even completed yet. Would like to see a Seniors rate offered as other courses in the area are doing . Tarandowah, Ingersol for example, offer Seniors a rate of $45 with cart.

This has to be the most pleasant golfing space in the region. Amenities and the course itself have been tastefully reconstructed and if you don't like your friends.. try immersing yourself in the delightful staff! Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience. Only 6000 yards from the back tees but provides a great challenge around the greens. Beautiful facility and a great staff to make your day enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Course is in decent shape. New holes need time to grow. The holes they left alone are still average much of the old course still there. Food was good, pricey for what you get but they are operating out of the halfway house.

I just heard that Rowe is not the owner and is scamming old Tarandowah patrons by trying to sell rounds in the future he lost his part ownership in the bankruptcy of 25% back to the old owner now. Course is a good one for seniors

Great place, I highly recommend. The course is great for golfers of any level of experience, its a mix of challenges and is beautiful. Need a drink? Just text for the beverage cart, super cool! The temporary clubhouse/snack bar at the start of the course is beautiful, you need to stop and relax before/in between/after your round. I don't recommend the hotdogs at that location 10 bucks for a hotdog that is way to small for the yummy brioche bun.... The golf carts are super comfy and easy to use! Why 4 out of 5 instead of 5 is for a few minor reasons. First off they are still working on changing the course from one owner to another, so expect some rough spots while they are working on perfecting the course. This will be a 5 star course make no mistake, when completed. Plus the addition of a new clubhouse and other cool additions will make this the best place to golf. Green fees are super cheap at the moment and many times available. When the course is completed we expect the rates will increase drastically. So tolerate the small imperfections and know it will only get better! Ps.. watch out for the greens they are fast :)

Place is clean and very well maintained! The panzerottis are delicious packed with cheese. Carts are brand new and electric, have ball and club cleaner right on cart. Friendly staff and not too hard of a course!

Had our first neal there tonight. Wanted to test the food. We are getting married there so always good to check it out. Service was friendly and funny. Great recommendations from the staff. We had a chance to go down and check out the wedding site. Love the set up. Try the pizza!! It us delicious to say the least. Great flavour combos. There are great views abs updates happening with the new owner. Its great to see. Quite enjoyed the patio as well.

This was a mess from the get go. We had a 530 tee time and at that time it was raining with some thunder in the area so I called the proshop(at approx 5:20) and the lady said she was not keeping any tee times but we could wait in the parking lot and if it clears up then we can come down and ask about going out. So after approx. 30 mins of waiting the weather had passed(all of our phone radars also said nothing else was coming through until about 11 PM) and we walked down to ask if we could go the lady came out and said no I told you at 530 that you we were not taking anymore tee times and we were not going to let anyone go. The group I was with along with myself were beyond frustrated with this response because why would we wait around in the parking lot for 35 mins if we were told we were not going to be allowed to play? So after some back and forth they said well we cant have you go the radar is not looking good and at this point the sky was blue above us everything was moving its way past Woodstock. The whole process was very shady because they have a cook come out and tell us no we cant have you go because of the radar and then when we question him on the radar he said well look guys I'm just a cook this isn't what I'm here for to answer questions about the course. Eventually we get the club pro to come down and he tells us that no unfortunately the greens have puddles on them so you can't go out on the course(which upon leaving you go by 4 or 5 greens and none of them have a drop of water showing). We then called Ottercreek while leaving Oxford Hills and they were thrilled to have us and we didn't get one ounce more of rain after that nor any thunder the rest of the day, exactly how the radar was showing. I get that this place is very new but all the more reason they should want our business and unfortunately they've lost it and I will be telling this story to everyone because the way they handled it was atrocious, all they had to say when I called was look it might not clear up and we don't want to stick around late because at the end of the day the lying made things even worse and was what caused the issues in the first place. So tread lightly golfers any type of weather at all and they may not let you on the course. Now with that response you unfortunately have made it very clear how out of touch you are with your new company and the communication between you and your staff which is quite terrifying this early on. I feel bad for anyone who has to try and have any type of conflict with you or your establishment because at no point were we inebriated as all 4 of us were working and just got off work. In terms of Belligerent you may want to take some time and read what that word means before throwing it around. This is a real bad look for a course that is trying to draw in customers but is unable to clearly communicate with said customers. This would not have been an issue had it been communicated that we were not going to be able to play golf.

The course is in good condition but players are not. We followed some players who were totally beginners and half drunk. We have to quick after nine holes after spending 3hours to finish front nine. Never play this course again.
