This 9 hole golf course is surprisingly technical. There are many hills, water traps, twists and turns. It is a great place to improve your game. Bring lots of spare balls. The bistro attached to the on premise micro brewery looks promising. It was still under construction when we played in early Sept 2018. I can't wait to try it later this year.

Did not enjoy the experience here, staff were unmasked, unpleasant and not accommodating. Felt like we should have been playing at a PGA level for a 30$ 9 round of golf. Will not be returning.

Sally Creek golf course Best Conditioned Golf Course in the Woodstock area. It is a pleasure to play. I spotted a fox and 3 Deer. Had a Great time and the food in the Bistro was outstanding..Fresh Cut Fries lightly seasoned the best!

a really neat building..Its an old red brick reclaimed building with a great atmosphere. The menu is fairly standard but the food is good and reasonably priced.

Amazing course and owners! The one grumpy marshall makes it really uncomfortable to golf sometimes. I don't like being spied on. For the price this is a hidden gem and surprisingly difficult for a 9 hole. Definitely not cookie cutter.

Unfortunately I have to change my rating. Golf experience here is fine but a recent breakfast at the bistro was terrible. Not sure what's happening in the kitchen but eggs were overcooked, toast soaked in butter and substitutions made without advising the customer. Never again.

Great spot for a quick round. Not too difficult. Well maintained. Some of the housing surrounding the holes are ridiculously close though.

Salley Creek is a 9 hole course located in Woodstock Ontario. While the course is not very old it is well developed as if carved out of a forest. Yet in other areas the course is bordered by a housing development which gives it a feeling of community. There are four sets of tees which range from the reds at 2,127 yards and slope of 112 to the golds at 3,027 yards and a slope of 130 accommodating golfers at all levels of skill. In general the course is a strategic test where placing your tee shot is key on a number of holes. The course was in very good shape; the greens well maintained and on the fast side. For the money it was very good value. The only downside was the pace of play was on the slow side and 18-holes with a cart took us 4 1/2 hours.

Good food in a nice clean and open environment. We hold Woodstock Dragon Boat Club meetings here as there's no loud music and lots of group seating available. Friendly staff.

Had our wedding here. Staff is exceptional and the old style of building made the wedding look classy and fancy. Food was delicious. The golf course has 9 holes and is beautifully landscaped. Good selection of beers. Triple boogy is A+

Golfing is a blast but rent a cart, bring along some cold beverages & make sure you have a lot of golf balls & a water ball retriever. The food is delicious & the portions are satisfying. All of the staff are friendly and attentive.

Nice little course with very friendly and helpful staff. The course is well manicured and requires a lot of accuracy off the tee. Greens, fairways and bunkers were in great shape. The two drawbacks of this course is that it's only 9 holes and very short ( par 3's are less than 100 yds). I wouldn't recommend it for top notch golfers but it's ideal for beginners and seniors. It was a fun course to play but I prefer 18 holes and a little more length .

Golf course in great shape. Very demanding 9 hole course with well manicured greens. Very helpful and friendly staff. Unfortunately the Bistro restaurant is under renovation and hoping to reopen in late summer.

This is a very challenging 9 hole course, there are plenty of hazards so golfers need to be accurate with their tee shots,as well as their approach shots.

Golf greens were sub par, construction everywhere, gave the marshal little bit of attitude after missing a sign that requested stay on path but was missed and three police officers escorted me and my brother off of the golf course. Food poisoning from the food from restaurant waiters were the worst with attitude. Would not recommend.

If I could give it zero stars I would. They were pleasant at the makeshift pro shop where we paid for our round of golf. Unfortunately it ended there. It seemed that they booked the tee times rather close as we had to wait at every hole to tee off and were backed up 3 deep at times. This has not been the case at other courses as they were adhering to covid 19 protocol with 8 to 10 minutes between tee times. We had a grounds crew that seemed to go ahead of us and rake the sand traps. The problem there was they would continue working as we approached the green with the ride on machine and would not stop as we chipped on. We let this go on the first nine but as it continued on for our second 9 it became to much. They also talked very loud to each other so they could hear over the machine as we were chipping on. I eventually told them they were not showing the golfers any respect. A while later the head grounds keeper approached us and in a very belligerent manner defended her grounds crew and made us feel like we were the problem. I am a senior, have played golf for a long time and have always exercised and respected golf etiquette. Unfortunately the grounds crew on this course does not. Worst golf experience in my life and I will never golf there again.

One of the toughest courses in Oxford county, Well groomed fairways and greens with no lack of sand traps, For the beginner golfer bring lots of golf balls. A must to play for the avid golfer that wants a bit of a challenge, The only downside to me it's only 9 holes.
