Spent an hour here hitting balls. Good price and easy to self serve. I've only ever heard amazing things about the ice cream shop however they were closed for the season unfortunately! Only downside is that the grass is pretty much dead .

$9 gets you a decent number of golf balls to hit on the driving range. The yardages on the range are inaccurate, however. I play often and use GPS on the course - I know the yardages of my clubs on a good strike and the 150 sign is closer to 180.

Fun place, a little out of the way but the mats are in good shape and as long as the person beside you isn't ringing them off the garage door, you'll enjoy swinging here.

Love this place. Always a good time in VR golf. The most accurate VR in the city. They have heated out door range bays as well when you want to hit a bucket of balls in the winter. Plus ice cream for the family in the summer. What's not to like?

Avid Golfer, love coming here. The heated bays in pre/post season temperatures provide great comforts not available elsewhere. Mats are in good condition. For those that don't know, you hit from a mat, through an individual "garage door" out into the range, which is heated depending on the weather and an individual smaller electric heater behind you to warm hands periodically if needed.

Amazing selection of hard & soft ice creams - all for AMAZING & CHEAP prices! The prices are cheaper than many other Ice-cream restaurants/shops in the city. You can choose from so many dipped flavours for your vanilla, chocolate, or swirl soft cones. Sundaes of all flavours & many many great hard ice cream flavours. Not too mention how amazing the owners are. put a smile on my face everytime & they always hook it up soooo big. Have taken many friends & family there for a nice treat out! If you haven't gone yet - GO!!!! <3 Normally open until 9PM most nights.

Good south facing driving range with lots of stations. If you don't like or have trouble bending down to tee up your ball, no problem. Each station has an automatic ball dispenser that deposits your golf ball onto the mat and the tee rises up underneath it! Hit the ball and it dispenses the next ball.

Never had their ice cream but definitely smashed a few buckets every now and then. My drive still Alice’s but man this place is fun. For a quick outing with the boys or for more serious training, this place definitely is a good time. Go there, grab a few beers and a bucket of balls, smash away. Parking is always fine and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended.

Besides the name sake I'd come here for their ice cream. Soft serve with various dips and hard ice cream. Had a chocolate vanilla twist cone with butterscotch dip (instead of the usual chocolate) It is not overly creamy (ie. not chokingly fatty leaving tongue residue feel) and not watered down (ie. melts on tongue with very small ice crystals for pleasant feel) ????Not overly sweet too???? Wonderful!!!

ice cream and golf with beer. nice casual place. pretty fun. was pretty empty when i went but ive seen it packed driving as well. lots of doors so you don't have to walk behind people swinging and has chairs outdoors if you need a rest. haven't tried the virtual golf but looked pretty cool. even had a pool table inside

The portions of ice cream are out of control. Just kidding it's just great bang for your buck and you can tell they care because the ice cream is always fresh like they regularly clean the machines and it's beautiful. Not lots of seating so most people eat in their cars but it's worth it !

Never gone golfing, I go here for ice cream. The BEST ice cream place in Transcona. It's so thick is like you are eating cream. Love Dairy Chef quality ice cream. Also, a small is like a large, so be careful when you order sizes. Their twisters are the bomb!!! And their soft serve is so creamy! I never know what to pick.

Best place to get ice cream! My personal favourite is the swirl. Tons of options no matter what you prefer: hard, blizzards, splits, sundaes, soft serve with dip, etc. The family that owns the store is always very welcoming and kind. Only thing I would recommend changing is getting sturdier spoons when getting it in a cup as the hard scoops are too solid for the spoons they currently have!

Basically the only place you can go and hit balls "outdoors" in the winter. The golf dome is ok but you loose the flight of your ball with the limited space of the roof. Came in today and their outdoor range was closed because their tractor broke down to collect balls and clean the snow so my buddy and I played a round of virtual golf instead and had a great morning.

Poorly maintained outdoor driving range and simulators. The practice balls are old and don't fly well. The owners don't seem to think the outdoor grass needs any maintenance or management.

It is a nice place. Have always been told.how good the ice cream is here so I finally tried it. And it is awesome. Prices are reasonable, better than some places for sure. And the choices in ice cream are very nice, soft (vanilla, twist or chocolate) and the hard ( way too many to list). Sadly I wasn't here to golf so I have no idea about that. But they offer virtual golf, shots (? A screened in place to make shots at what looks like targets. Practice I aasume) and a course, which I don't see all of, buy what I do see looks nice.

Fantastic ice cream! They have hard and soft choices too, which is nice. Two of us tried their version of a Blizzard, and they were a bit light on flavourings. This is our ice cream shop of choice. Honestly haven't been golfing there. We've only ever bought I've cream.

Not only are the ice cream portions HUGE but the quality is great as well! Soft serve is fabulous and made with real cream. I love their twisters which have bold flavours that last until the last bite. This place has simple options, but lots of them! Did I mention the HUGE portions? Your going to get your money's worth here. Service is friendly and quick too. My favourite item on the menu is the Tropical Twister! They have several fun dip flavours for cones too.

In my opinion, the best driving range in the city. They have punch cards that save you 30 bucks on 10 buckets which make this place my go to range. They have automatic ball servers at the golf mats and there is an area where you can hit off grass if you prefer that. They are licenced for alcohol so you can enjoy a moderate range of beer selection. There are also virtual golf booths and there is an ice cream shop in the building. Can be a little annoying when people bring their kids here and you're hoping to hit a couple relaxing buckets after work or on a weekend afternoon but all in all, a great place to work on your swing.

Great price of 27 per hour. I found the short game and putting quite different than the E6 that they use at the Wincity pub in the Clarion. Overall thumbs up. No glitches. Lots of simulators.

Went here for the soft serve ice cream, large means large here about eight inches above the cone!. They offer both soft serve and hard ice cream. As well as parfaits sundaes and flurrys and milkshakes at excellent prices for the quantity.

Great driving range, buckets are fairly cheap. It's open year round and has heaters for when it's cold. The tees are covered so it's a good option for when it's raining. They also offer virtual golf for a good price. They also have ice cream and snacks.

I didn't go for the driving range. I went for the ice-cream shop????????????. Ok folks this little ice-cream shop is a hidden gem in Winnipeg!!! ???? The parlour has 16 to 20 flavours possibly a few more. They serve hard and soft ice-cream. It's very fresh and they also have a variety of cone choices. It is a truly worth the stop. I will certainly be going back.

Went for ice cream tonight and was met with a closed for the season sign. Little weird because the weather is beautiful. Most ice cream places stay open till October. Not impressed

I'm usually a soft-serve icecream person, but somehow, I wind up ordering hard icecream from them. Both are good, they have 7 or 8 dip flavours. But somehow I wind up ordering a combo of espresso flake and salted caramel, or I get monster cookie. They have a great variety. However, if you get a soft-serve cone, don't a large unless you know you can move fast and eat plenty. They are generous with their serving sizes there.

The place is very nice, the range area is clean and the golf balls are new and none of the old beat up balls. The heater works fine but you will need to wear a jacket or something to still keep you warm. The price is cheaper than Golf Dome and you can take your time while hitting since it is per bucket not per hour. The automated golf ball machine is very nice and the tee you can adjust which is very cool in my opinion. No need to bend down or find a tee that fits your driver head or preference. The mirror also helps when you need to check your form. Overall this place is a savior for golf nuts like me come winter time. Highly recommended. I have not tried the virtual golf yet but the rooms they have for the virtual golf are huge and you even have a couch and a table for drinks and snacks.

Called at 3:45pm on a Saturday to inquire about the range availability and no one answered. Google and their website state the driving range is open till 9. So we decided to make the half hour drive and arrived just before 4:30, right in time to get turned away at the door because it was closing time. It’s understandable if you want to close early and turn away business but at least don’t deceive your customers with inaccurate advertising. Trust these liars at your own risk, no wonder they’re better known for their ice cream than their golf.
