Its a tight but well managed course. The greens have some aggressive sand traps which can get complicated. Fun day. Plus, they are well organized for covid distancing.

Lots of value for this course. The conditions are in top shape even this late into the season with well kept luscious looking fairways and greens. Bunkers are absolutely enjoyable with soft beach-like sand. The staff is friendly all round. The course is fairly wide open and some holes are side by side with others making your slices very forgivable. Of course, this also means you may be interrupted a few times during your round but generally speaking, it hasn't been an annoyance. There are a few tricky holes - #2 and #15 come to mind - where landing your tee shot on a certain side of the fairway is imperative for your approach shot. Great course overall!

Course is in pretty rough shape. Little/no drainage despite no hard rainfall so tee boxed and the 5th hole green are soaked. Many of the cups & pins weren't placed property and had a lip surrounding them, making your putt break away whenever they got close which made for a very frustrating round and the Proshop staff seemed miserable to speak to anyone. There are far better courses for similar price points, especially in the fall.

This is a golf course I've played many times over the years. I've even hosted tournaments here. It has a nice mix of holes with changes in elevation, which I like. While the conditions aren't stellar, neither is the cost to play. The one negative thing I can say about Glen Cedars, is the pace of play. Because it's such a good value, they have a lot of tournaments here and that easily leads to rounds of over five hours. Sometimes they warn you when you call in to book a tee time. Other times, they don't. That's a problem.

Very nice course but lacking signage for directions from hole to hole. Also September long weekend and no beverage cart? Bartender said it wasn't busy enough. Really? Almost 30 degrees and $87 to play but no drinks on the course.

Not a long course, but not an overly easy one, either. Accuracy matters on a few holes here. There is a rather silly short par 4 with enough dog leg and tree coverage that it's best played short iron off the tee, short iron into the green. And you get there by crossing in front of another hole's tee. Decent club house, decent staff. We play there fairly often.

Great course, played here with my buddies quite often each seasons and was looking into a membership. Always loved the old style charm this place has. However the on course servers were much nicer last year, sad to hear my favourite server sidney was no longer with you. But overall great course conditions, well kept for an older course!

I often complain about the marshalling (or lack thereof) on the Deer Creek courses. Yesterday however, the Marshall was able to breakup a logjam created by a foursome that took a hour to play the first 3 holes. I don’t know if he moved them up a hole or just created “awareness” but he got play sped up and the last 14 holes moved along at a reasonable pace. Kudos to the Marshall and I hope the management backed him up. Sorry I didn’t get his name but he deserves an attaboy. Thank Marshall.

Played Glen Cedars twice this year. Nice course and in decent condition considering the dry weather. Only downside was the Marshalls constantly asking us to speed up even though on both outings there were no groups behind us and we played under 4 hours 15 minutes. Marshall even said I know your time is good but there is too much space between you and the group in front. Our play affected no one else because we were not holding anyone up. I respect the need to keep play moving but this is just badgering.

First time playing Glen Cedars and don't know what took me so long. Those familiar with Deer Creek and its affiliation with this course will love it. Harder then the south, easier then the north. This facility once again proves that the best value for money membership in the GTA is here.

It's a fairly nice course. The price is reasonable and while you can walk it, it's nice to rent their power carts. The staff is friendly and the marshalls don't bug you. The fairways are nicely maintained, and the bunkers were ok...would be nice to have more sand, so you can hit out of them properly. The greens were in good shape...people still need to fix their divets. It would be good to have a few more signs, since finding a few holes can be tricky, if you're new to the course or forget. Wish the cart girl was driving around, since it gets hot since it's fairly open on the course; I'd think that if they can serve you a beer or pop at the clubhouse, then they should be able to do it on the course also.
