Today was my first time here. What a huge space with Beautiful plants & accessories. Lots of options, sizes & styles. The Gallery smelled soo good. I kept smelling the flowers ???? as I discovered more spaces to roam through.

Wonderful place until the cash where the cashier was not so Wonderful. She bossed us around and made us feel as if we were in the way. The rest of the staff were great just one bad seed that can leave a lasting impression.

I bought trees last year with Myke's for extra warranty. In May this year I called them and they said to give it an extra month before returning, to give it adequate time to grow. Middle of June they were for sure dead so I return them and they stated I am not going to get my money back, it is to late, I can only get store credit, plus the credit is for only trees. I can't use it for anything else. They stated even if i try to return it in May, like I was doing they wouldn't have taken the trees.That is horrible, I will never shop again their, cheap basters, maybe you should inform people that before buying them. If I could rate a zero I would have, rating one is being nice. July 5/2018 - Your the only nursery that have this rule in Thunder Bay, ON. I have Myke's guarantee in the past and was able to use the credit for other plants or items in the store. Try to return earlier then a year to get my money back with the receipt and you guess said to wait to see if it leafs out first. Walmart managers did the same thing but extended the receipt warranty. When they didn't leaf out I got my money back.

I always love going to Vanderwees. Right now "Tulips" cafe is closed. But flowers and soil additives are readily available. We bought a "wind machine" (think of the movie Twister) (and a Major thank you to Wanda for the deal!), a bird bath and 5 of the cutest planters ever! Think of proper teacups and saucers ... just size them up. Very reasonable prices! Cant wait for warmer weather so I can plant some gorgeous Begonias in my cups. We saw some purple Iris and Cardinal wind machines. Expect to wait in line for a checkout till ... but you can check out the flavoured oils, fudge and candy.

My new favorite store! Prices are good on most things. We went in August so it wasn't as full as I'm sure it is in the spring, but still many beautiful plants. I got a ponytail palm that was at the top of my plant wishlist for $69.99. Also decent sales nearing the end of the season. EDIT: the plants I got ended up having fungus gnats. But you should isolate any new plants you get from anywhere so I can't blame just this greenhouse.

This place is amazing! It is a "gardeners' go to place". If you are looking for herbs they have them. The Tulip Cafe serves healthy homemade soups - so delicious and you have a choice of gluten free bread! When you plan to visit this place expect to stay for a while. Lots to see.....

It is a beautiful and we'll maintained place with plenty of parking and plants. Neatly arranged for the customers to go around and choose what they want to purchase. The variety of plants they have is very good. Only thing is, it is a bit away from the town and still it is convenient.

Great place to shop and excellent staff. Love the beautiful plants and flowers. We were in to with my parents who were visiting from out of town. On our way home we realized my daughter forgot her cellphone at Vanderwees. I drove back and the staff were kind enough to help us look for the missing phone. Happy to report one of the staff found my daughters phone.

Vanderwees garden Gallery. Our family arrived there at noon yesterday and the parking lot were almost full. I must say this must be the place you should go for not only for your Christmas but also for your unique gifts. John and his staff actually have the sense of art. All of the items here are eye-catching. They were well finished and various in design. The crystal copying items look like real if you don't touch them. Plenty of plants here are not only for Christmas but also for gardening or other style decorating. Asian people would love the tropical area. The chicken salad or hop pot would be better with lime leaves. :)) Try it if you want. I love the fountains here. People who love fong shui will find the one they need as all are 30% off. If you reach for the inside peace, come here and take a look at Buddha fountains. It would be relaxing to hear the sould of running water in your home this winter. Many people love the back area with photography set up. Thank John for choosing VietNam to produce the reusable bags in store. They're beautiful, durable and reasonable. Love it. The animals are at the side of the store. If you go to the coffee shop, ask staff for the food to feed goat and llama. During the year, kids can enjoy the playground on the side of the store. Come ASAP as the city is fighting so hard with covid.

The retailer has a very merry feel for the holiday's~ the smells of flower's and food's is amazing~theirs homemade fudge is really delicious~product selection is great for holiday gifts~staff are friendly and knowledgeable~Covid-19 safety measures in place such as directional arrows, hand sanitizers, making for staff and clients, partitions, staff cleaning surfaces after uses etc~ it's a tasty and fun place to visit~ well worth the drive

We ara at the cafe, soup and sandwiches and a kids meal (3 people total) and it was $55 dollars. The food was good. I love vanderwees and we spent a good hour there afterwards looking around but the price for some soup and a sandwich was unreasonable. Also no lattes or fancy coffees at the cafe, so why is it called a cafe?
