We played fall gold Nov 2nd. The cart was a POS and could barely make it up a hill and the greens were long but it is end of season. The conditions were acceptable due to the time of year , the cart unfortunately left me unimpressed. Pro shop was locked and therefore I couldn't even make a complaint.

Bar staff were outside having drinks while golfers were coming in looking to be served. Poor course maintenance, and a staff that were more interested in partying then working. Better places in the city to spend your golf dollars ( Lively, Old Chelmsford, dinosaur family golf...)

One of the best courses in Sudbury and ones of the least expensive!

Even for Sudbury courses this is very poorly maintained. Grass needs to be cut. Greens are in very poor condition. Cart paths are full of flooded potholes. Cart paths have NO marker signs and the paths fork often. How much would 18 wooden signs cost to make? Offer free golf for 4 to the first person to donate trail signs. Easy to head to the wrong tee. Only a few tees have ball cleaners. Practice putting green has no holes...only sticks with flags you hit?? I believe they found the rental clubs at the local dump 20 years ago and you need to gather a full set yourself and they don't even CLEAN them! Buy ONE set of decent used golf clubs or offer season membership for club donations. Golf carts need a wash and a few are left broken down on the paths.

Easily one of the best courses in Sudbury. It's in great condition save for some obvious ongoing maintenance and provides a decent challenge for any level of golfer. Absolute beginners may struggle. I just wish that some of the paths were clearly marked for where to go as there are a number of intersections presumably for Maintenance crews and some tees aren't always visible.

This place has never seen a new coat of paint since it's inception. This place is a waste of money. The club house is absolutely disgusting. The golf course was in good shape. The club house is a disaster.

A little wet. But that won't stop me.

It is ok course. Had quite a few short holes. Lots of water.

Shane Everest

Nice course. Always wanted to play it growing up but never got around to until now. Worth it. Pace was a bit slow but, Covid...

Cedar Green is tired! Golfing there is dangerous. Too many Holes are too close together. There is no rhythm. The holes are disjointed! It would do better as 9 hole course. It is known as Sudbury's tournament course. Too many tournaments. Members must be upset. The clubhouse is a hodge podge of disorganized chaos. 2 flights of long narrow stairs. If you are handicapped this is not the course for you. I have played my last round at Cedar Green.

This course has been my favorite since it opened. This year the conditions are perfect. Haven't seen my wife for three weeks now. I'm addicted to Timber Wolf! Only kidding about my wife....I saw her last Thursday.

My husband treated me today for a round of golf at the cedar green golf course for Mother's Day/birthday. It started with beautiful weather and we finished our first nine holes and decided to pop into the clubhouse for a beverage and realized that it was closed and they had a cooler fridge with about 9 Canadian beer available We inquired if the clubhouse would be open and the gentleman said in about 10mins as the girl just arrived. We chose two beer from the 9 left and heard the co works say to each other that they didn't know how to get into the upstairs? Seemed pretty disorganized? We continued on with the last nine holes and needed a bathroom and realized they had no portable toilets on the course? You would think they would be more prepared for the upcoming season by now? We came up to the clubhouse and saw a portable toilet outside of the building but not in the course? Decided to go use the bathroom before leaving inside the actual building and the ladies bathroom looked like a demolition happened to it. Mud everywhere and of course no toilet paper!!! Ughhh! We paid over $100+ for this type of course! We arrived at 11am and tried to get a beverage at 1:20pm. We thought about eating food after but pretty sure that was not an option as there was no staff. Therefore no patio beer or lunch? Slightly disappointed! This is why businesses fail! Poor staffing and lack of management!
