Nice course, but definitely a difficult and technical one. The back 9 was considerably harder than the front. Had never hit that many irons off the tee.

First time golfing at Nonesuch. Beautiful coarse, lots of fun and was in great condition even this late in the season. Definitely recommend.

Being really board, driving down the road looking for anything to do. I stopped by just to check out a better life then bar hounding during the day. Well I seen they have a driving range and started to think Happy Gilmore. What the heck, asked, " how much it cost for the range" ? It was 5 bucks for 50 balls. It told the guy at the counter I didn't have any clubs. He gave me a driver, 6 iron and a sand (something bobber) to use for free. well, after 50 balls and a hour or 2, I accomplished two things. To hit a ball farther then mini golfing and a sore arm. I actually did 170 yards and never golfed before. I left after a few cheap beers and planned to return tomorrow. Best fun I had in a long time. I can picture myself with the golf shorts and a fat cigar driving the golf limo sooner then expected. Everyone was very friendly. 9-18 hole course.

Course in good shape; however whites set with reds, too many par 3 holes and $38 bucks for 9 holes! Way too much for this course.

William Kiely

Glad the driving range was open.

Best 18 Holes of Golf In Maine. Driving Range & Putting Greens to get you warmed up & a diverse range of holes which will keep golfers on their toes with the front 9 being mostly forgiving if your a beginner, & the back 9 being slightly more of a challenge (in my opinion). The Par Layout is Well balanced all the way through. I would say Nonesuch is also extremely well maintained. Overall great job to the grounds crew (Especially Mike & Jimmy) in terms of the hole par layout than other neighboring courses. A+ ⛳

I golfed here for my friend's wedding party and the club could not have been more accommodating. Due to a heavy rain we had the move the tee times and the club staff was fantastic. I would come back if I were ever in the Portland area.

I am partial as I seem to play well here. But the course is in great shape, greens roll true and like the layout.

Joe Vokey

Great course & conditions, but crowded & slow play. Overall, very good.

Eric Lawson

Good target golf course in southern Maine. The grounds and greens were in great shape!

Only for driving range have not played course. 5 dollars for a bucket of balls decent driving range they do have a target maybe 75 to 125 yards out decent space no dress code for range

Beautiful, well maintained and fun course to play. There's enough challenge here for any golfer and the general pace of play on any given day is good. The staff is more than friendly and they have some of the nicest carts I've ever ridden in. I'll be playing a lot here next year too.

We played this course for the first time last week. The greens were in fantastic shape and were rolling extremely quick. Be ready for a lot of doglegs and some challenging tee shots. Also remember to take along some bug spray. I would highly recommend playing a round here.

John Marshall

Too expensive for the course. So many other course in the area that offer better value.

Went here to golf on vacation. Rented clubs and a cart. To rent a cart you had to leave your license which I was fine with. Out tee time was at 5 and we were done at about 8:30, right as the sun was going down. We went up to the clubhouse and found that the doors were locked and everyone had left. Had to wait almost an hour waiting for the police and an employee to show up at the clubhouse to give us our license back. Very disappointed by this. Great course, but the experience was not.

$8 is kind of a rip for a bucket of balls, but your hands are tied since there isn't really another course with a range in the area. Course is in good shape, but always busy.

Eddie Z

Driving range often crowded on weekends. Gets beaten up bad by the end of the season. Decent price of $5 for bucket of balls. Bring own tees.

Lee Baker

Nice public course all levels of golfers ????????

Course is in great shape. Maintenance people do a fantastic job in keeping it in good shape.

I couldn't decide if it was a difficult course or if I just played badly! But it was in good condition given the lack of rain. I would recommend it.

For the $82 cost, on top of the $20-$40 fee for a rental bag of clubs, this has got to be the single worst course I’ve ever played at for the cost to play and poor quality course. I would highly advise any golfer to stay away from here if they have to pay more than $20-$25 including the $22 cart rental fee. Extremely disappointed with this course this weekend as it was my first time in the Portland area. Choose any other course…literally any other course over this one if you’re just stopping through Portland…or even live there. Bugs, primarily mosquitoes, were actually worse than they are down in my home state of Florida and that’s saying something. Would not return to this course.
