Great 9 hole course with some challenging holes Very scenic and the staff are always very friendly. Living in the neighbourhood we like to go over for lunch sometimes with friends even when we haven't played a round of golf. A real treat in the heart of Markham!!!

The old IBM course is a hidden gem. Always a pleasure playing. Course is well maintained, and the greens roll true. Awesome experience playing through the Rouge Valley. Probably the best 9 hole course in the GTA.

Great place for someone relatively new to golf. The course is not extremely difficult and it is a fairly casual place with nice staff. The course is beautiful but not too intimidating for a beginner - although it includes quite a few water hazards

This 9-hole course is a must-play. I'd play it 3 times, let alone 2. Conditions are always impeccable and some interesting doglegs, water hazards, etc. Challenging throughout but so much fun!!!

Awesome spot for an early morning golf in Markham. 9 holes. Definitely in the top tier of course upkeep. A good challenge even for an intermediate golfer. A number of water hazards.

I come here nearly every weekend and rarely have been disappointed. Its a beautiful course, very well maintained with a wonderful view of the small stream flowing through it (sometimes you can even see fish jumping in it). Doesn't seem like its something right next to a residential neighborhood. Come here in the mornings on a Friday or Saturday or even the afternoons and for the price, its one of the best options in Markham!

This 9 hole course will not disappoint. The greens are in good shape, views are attractive, rough is a bit forgiving before you get into thick vegetation. A river meanders through the course. Bring extra golf balls! A small clubhouse restaurant features a limited but well presented menu. We will return.

As far as golf courses go, this one isn't half bad! The green fees are reasonable and the course is in great shape with a few challenging holes even if there's only 9 holes. Since it's so close to home it's definitely in my rotation now!

Quaint little golf course. Was going here since 2 years ago, though only 9 holes, they are enjoyable and worth the money. Cute restaurant and banquet hall inside, looking forward to going again this spring!

Awesome course! The conditions are perfect and it is very beautiful and you feel like your in the wild! The food and shuttle service are also very good. The river meets like every hole and it makes a unique experience. Bring A LOT of extra balls, it’s a tough but fun course!

Not a long 9 hole course but, it does have character with a lot of old trees. This used to be an IBM 18 home course that was cut in half years back. This means the first hole isn't where a first tee normally would be, near the club house. It's a good 500m down a pathway. They do however, offer a Cart shuttle should you require one. All in all it's a decent course. Reasonably well kept with no wet or poorly kept areas. It's an enjoyable 2 and a bit hour round.

This golf course was private and owned by Nelson Davis. He was one of Toronto's wealthiest businessmen. Originally 18 holes and very challenging. First hole today was shortened by 407 but used to be a right angled dog leg over 400 yds. Drive had to be placed about 230 before you could head north to the green.it was number 5 or 6 then. What remains is original and the width of the Rouge River can be quite a forced carry. Arnold Palmer used to fly up years ago just to play. I first played there in the sixties with my father and Bill Hamilton the head pro at our club. All i can say is wow. Was called Box Grove in those days.

Tough for a beginner, as many holes have water and sand traps near them. Also the course is quite hilly and it's a fairly short, not a far walk, if that's important for you. The clubhouse is small and in the summertime most people socialize just outside of it. Overall a good course that is well-maintained a lot of the time.

Great 9 hole golf course. I used to play here as a kid in the 70s when it was IBM course - a monster from the back tees (7400 yds or something - standard scratch of 74). What's left is the first hole now (half of the 5th hole (was 400yd + short shot to dog leg and uphill to green and now the green is bang in the middle of the dogleg)), old 6th hole is gone - but the 2nd through 9 is the old 7 to 14th hole and all are exactly as per the old course. The old 13th was a longish par 4 but was changed to a par 3 (as it is now) about 7 years before IBM was closed. Chance to play an old classic - the story was pre IBM owned by an individual fanatic - Arnie Palmer use to come up to play it a couple of times a year in the 50s / 60s as it was such a great course. Really good chance to play a fabulous 9 holes. By the way, the current 2nd is a tricky par 5 now - was a monster par 4 on the original course.

We bought voucher last year which can play 2nd 9 holes and booked 2 pm today September 13 for 4 people . After finish 1st 9 holes the person on duty today let us wait 15 minutes but after 20 minutes we asked him again , he just said no replay ever without explanation. They break voucher sales contract terms roughly and simply. Don't buy their voucher and don't go to this club , bad service and bad attitudes.
