This Golf is included in the category of Golf course.
Fun little course close to home. Great course to play with a junior as well.
Great for beginners and golfers looking for improving short game, known as the "power lines" national!
This is the course I learnt how to golf. Fun course for beginners to intermediate golfers with a few holes longer then 180 yards. Greens are always in great condition.
Good place for beginners and to practice short game. Played July 2016 during drought so "fairways" were brown but all greens were green and in good condition with good roll. Course is flat, no tee boxes, no bunkers, 1st hole crosses small hazard, and 11th holes crosses small pond. Three of 18 holes +/- 200yds. Didn't hit any of the hydro towers and lines that cross the property.
I hit the ball too hard so it went into the water, but it’s a great place for playing golf.
Great place to golf. The atmosphere is really laid-back and chill. The greens are well maintained, and the staff are always willing to help you.
I was just asked to remove a three star review by the owner. Golfing experience was mediocre hence the three stars. Asking me to remove a review? Ha. Rating edited. Two stars instead of one due to it having been very cheap to golf there.
Staff is unbelievably friendly. It’s a reasonably priced 18 hole course. You can rent clubs and a cart. It’s all par 3 with pretty straight holes so it’s great for beginners. It’s also a really easy course to follow so it’s really not necessary to have a cart. There’s train tracks right behind the course and two trains went while we were there. I would definitely come back.
Great par 3 course. Excellent training course.
Great golf course! Nice people great staffs!
Nice easy course, built on the original Eckardt Farm. At the entrance is Eckardt Cemetery c. 1830s. The roadway up to the course is the original alignment of McCowan Road from before the 1990s.
I really like this 18 hole golf course. There is no cart but, great for exercise and a lot of fun navigate. You can bring or rent clubs. Very affordable and fun way to spend time to get easy practice and improve your game or hang out with friends /family. Staff is friendly and helpful. ????
I would like to wish the New Owner of MEGC all the best in there endeavor,, I am not one to send review but I had to send you a post and wishing you the best of luck. I have played Cresthaven for 15 years and it is more than just a golf course,, its a place you see a Father teaching is kids how to play the game or a young couple trying to learn the game. I go because it is close to home and you can work on your irons' play.. And the view from the 14 hole when the Sun is setting is just a Beautiful Thing... I Gave you a five stars because I remember what it was like before,,,, All the best to you...
It's an early start of the season and the golf course was.
Great location, and new ownership making some new changes. My family had a lot of fun. Well worth the money!
Excellent value. Features a variety of yardages that force you to use every club in your bag. The starter and the staff inside the clubhouse are very pleasant and accommodating. Can't beat the convenience of its location if you're looking for a quick round (or two)!
Nice little course. Reasonable prices but the greens are not well maintained.
We LOVE this place! Amazing spot to bring the family and enjoy the sport. Also absolute the most friendly, accommodating staff on the PLANET! We discovered it this year and have gone back almost every weekend.
Great hard par 3 course...good people.
Nice place
Love this place. Course is all part threes but some you can get your driver out on and most of the greens are pretty tricky. Often you can walk straight on and never waited longer than 10 mins. Price is cheap so attracts a lot of pensioners and doesn't take drive-on carts, bit isn't a long walk. Staff are lovely also. Fairways are forgiving
Great beginner course. Great price.
Enjoyed this beginners golf course. Not a lot of pressure from other users. Good for new players. Can walk the course so you don't need a cart but would recommend a golf - bag cart.
I love what they have done with this course. Lengthened some holes, nicer tee boxes. Clearly putting a lot if effort into making it better. Ground is a bit hard but otherwise no complaints.
Reasonable course. Was really busy. Good value for money. Staff was very courteous
Great course for learning and practice. Great iron course if you are advanced. Nice day!
Great location for three par golf. Greens are pretty well-maintained. Nice staff. Very reasonable prices.
This course is reopened after a two year hiatus. Prices are affordable and layout is forgiving. Yardages seem to be 5-10 yards shorter than posted so keep that in mind. They have big plans for the future including a driving range and lengthening some holes. Worth a visit.
This is a great place to play golf with your buddies, it's a 3 par course and we had a great time.
As expensive as a range bucket and great exercise too
My wife and I used to go here when it as Cresthaven but they were struggling and closed. It's now under new management and renamed to Markham Executive. Its not Angus Glen (at $159) but its a great track to work on your irons and hybrids at really reasonable rates for an executive 18. We were very impressed with the staff and the upgrades they have done. The greens were the best we have played this year - top condition but a little slow if you are used to fast greens. What was a really class act was it was a very hot day and they came around in a cart with free bottles of water. We'll be back for sure!
As first-time golfers, we had an amazing experience at the Markham Executive Golf Course. We were warmly welcomed by Massimo and his staff, who were extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely visit again!
It's a fun little par 3 course. For the price, I'm very happy with the experience. Will return.
You get what you pay for. It's a cheap round and the course conditions reflect that. There are some longer holes for a par three course, which is nice. There aren't really any marshals so it's good for kids, as you can take your time. At the same time, if it's busy, you could end up playing a four hour round, which is long for a par three.
Good value executive course
Good course. Pretty challenging for amateurs like. Some tee boxes are almost all dirt and some greens need some touch-up.
Winter wonderland
My favorite golf course for a quick 10,000 step long walk. Great for beginners, and dirt cheap.. under 30 for a round
12th hole was.... Non-existent.... A below average 17 holes of golf for sure. Only bonus is it is in the city.
Nice for a quick round.
My wife and I tried your course out again a month ago after a few years absence. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! You've done so much work to upgrade the course and clubhouse. Your staff is always very helpful and nice which we appreciate. An added benefit is that we have played with other golfers there and made some nice friends. You are doing a great job there, thank you very much for all your hard work!
Par 3 pitch and putt for beginners or practice for experienced players. Bring a sunday bag with a wood, a mid iron and a putter, all you need for an easy walk around the course.
Interesting par-3 golf course. Great for beginner to learn the game of golf and also for experienced to sharpen their iron game.
Just a good day out
Great course, good selection of food, excellent customer service.
Great place for all golf lovers! The field is perfect! Recommend
Lovely owners, nice short course close to home.
Nice course to practice your short game.
The staff are very nice
It is what it is, a well maintained par 3. Will be back!
Nice par 3 course easy walk
It’s the most affordable golf in the gta
Wow. What a hidden gem. Been going to this place since its old management and what a night and day difference. Very well kept grounds for the price range and some challenging par 3s! If you wanna work on your iron game this is a great place to do it. Definently recommend. Great friendly staff and nice facilitiesm will go again!
The staff were very friendly, and accommodating. They were short on golf carts today, since they are pulling more out of storage but they brought us carts as soon as they were sanitized (covid safe). I'll definitely be back.
Nice place
We hadn't been for several years and what a turnaround! A fantastic new feel with great signage and very good conditions (given the hot dry summer), with further improvements clearly on the way. Regardless of skill level, I would not hesitate to recommend Markham Executive - and we are already looking forward to our next round here!
It's a fair bit longer than the old cresthaven. New clubhouse, new food truck and patio. I quite like the changes. New tee decks are still quite new so it's hard packed.
Great course
Nice course. Good greens. Very friendly people working at the course.
Glad to see this spot open again... New management offers great customer service!
Great $ deal for golfing is at this executive golf course. The cost to play at this golf course is so low. You actually want to give this place more money than they are asking for because the value of what they offer supercedes the cost. Upgrades seem to be ongoing, yet they manage to keep it clean and tidy. THANK YOU for the clean washrooms! Clearly, this is a classy course operated by classy people. The word around this neighbourhood is that it is an extremely well kept golf course with exceptionally kind management personnel and a great course to make use of many of your clubs. I have not experienced another course giving away certain items for free. In addition to that, they have been courteous in giving italian coffee on the house! They haven't charged to let you practise hitting balls in dedicated practice areas! What I consistently hear is that there is no better option to get comparable service or golf practice for the same price in the vicinity.
Interesting place
Great local Par 3 course. The changes made this course more challenging from before and more yardage. I gave it a 4 because the new changes made and the grass hasn't settle, especially the greens and tee box. Hope the greens will be better later on.
I have been playing this golf course since it was named Cresthaven. I am so happy the golf course has re-opened under ownership after being closed for the entire 2019 Season. I really thought to myself playing here was just a memory, but luckily every round I have played in 2020 has been another great memory for me. This is a completely new golf course from it's days as Cresthaven. Brand new tee boxes have been constructed and many of the holes have been increased in length. The washrooms, clubhouse, and Practice area have all undergone major renovations. In fact, the clubhouse is brand new. You can even play this golf course now with a electric golf cart, I never thought I would ever see that. The golf course does shown signs of not being open or maintained for an entire year but ownership and staff are working very hard to bring the golf course back to life. Definitely predicting an exciting future for this golf course under the new ownership.
Amazing par 3 at a very affordable price. Had a blast there today will be back soon.
An easy course that you can walk and be finished between 2 and 3 hours
Played here today (April 8th). Booked a tee time online directly on their site and it was confirmed promptly. First time there and honestly it really hit the spot. An executive course with a 6 holes of 200 or more yards. The new building is really nice, and the staff was amazing, everyone was super friendly, definitely set the mood. There's a chipping practice area where you can hit into a net, and a putting green with 7-8 different holes. It was a nice bonus to be able to warm up before our round. Well kept course, and it was in pretty good condition considering its the beginning of the season. Good greens! no sand traps. The water feature on the 11th hole is nice. And the train somehow fit in, didn't feel like a drag. Honestly, no complaints. The power lines might turn some off, and I dont know if it was because this was my first round of the year, but they didnt bother me at all. Will definitely golf here again.
Ok, this is not the most amazing course that you will ever play, but value for money is top notch. The clubhouse lady is the nicest and most helpful person that I have encountered all year and she is a good reason to give this place a try. It’s cheap, quick, and very forgiving. You can bring out your driver on a couple of holes and a hybrid on a few others as well. Late in the year the tee boxes leave something to be desired, but that’s par for the course (get it?). Give it a shot, you really have nothing to lose for the price. This course is bordered by the 407 and railroad tracks.
Early in the season but T boxes need lots of maintenance
All par 3s. Perfect for beginners. Very reasonable prices as well and friendly staff
Great value. Great course to have some fun without exhausting yourself and spending a whole Saturday there then having to sleep all afternoon recovering from heat stroke.

Great beginners course for those who are just starting out. Also, good if you want to practice your short game or perfect your irons before playing on a bigger course.
Friendly staff, especially the marshall. Shes wonderful. I also lost my pitching wedge the week before, asked the owner at the desk if they had one I could purchase. He said they did and as persistent as I was to purchase the club, the owner gave me the club for free. This was my second time shooting this course, I felt welcome, had a great experience and look forward to my next round there????????.
Nice Place
Nice 18 hole par 3 course
Great par 3 course. New owners have done a lot to improve the course in a short amount of time, and I'm sure it'll be even better by next year. The changes have made the course more challenging. Will definitely go for many more rounds this year.
Good conditioning overall, excluding the tee-boxes which are in need of improvement though, as most of them are not level-grounded, needs tight mowing, and/or only has bare soil. Fairly easy course with low average hole lengths. Last hole is some of the toughest I've ever played however; very long par 3 at 220+ yards; although I managed to hit the green in 3, I still needed 6 putts due to the severe double-tiered design. I'm an intermediate player myself, and managed to shoot a smooth 42 over par last time here - pretty low by my standards.
Great executive course! Glad it's back in business.
Good for beginners
My friends and I had an amazing time at Markham executive golf course. Just finished playing a round there and the course is in great shape. Great location right off the 407 and super friendly, hospitable people! I will be back many times in the near future and possibly be inquiring about a membership because you can not beat these prices. Highly recommend this course, as it is great for learning how the greens run and master chipping.
Inexpensive for golf. Close by
Great course for beginners.
Great par 3 course and the staff is great very helpful
Decent golf course but more expensive than it should be for a simple par 3. Many other better options for the same price within a 15 minute drive.
I took my 80 year old avid golfer dad who has been stuck in the hospital for the better part of the past year. He has partial paralysis on his right side but really needed to get on the links again. I thought I’d ease him back into golf at this executive course he’s never been to before. WOW! Both my 40+ years of golfing-fanatic dad and I were blown away by the amazing condition of this par3 course. The owners have really made the place more than enjoyable to play at. I would also like to thank and offer my sincere appreciation of how well we were treated and the staff went out of their way to make it an amazing first day back on the links. I give this place a 5 star and 2 thumbs up for anyone looking to get back into the game or if you are just starting out. Play one round there and you won’t regret it.
A close course in the city that is good for beginners.
A local and lovely par 3 course, great for beginners or just tuning your short game!
My go to executive course in York region. One of the best by far in my opinion. Their rates are quite reasonable for the exceptional quality of service you’ll receive. Staff is always very courteous and friendly! Their goal is for you to enjoy a stress free relaxing round. The course is work in progress as they have recently reconfigured the layout of some of the holes to offer a more challenging player experience, but does not impede play. The newly renovated clubhouse is beautifully designed and the washrooms are always clean and well maintained at all times. If you’re looking for a quick hassle free round with friends to improve your short game, I highly recommend visiting Massimo, Danny and the rest of this welcoming team at Markham Executive Golf Course... I promise you, you’ll keep going back like I do!! With continued gratitude for excellence in customer service. Flora ????????
Great course for working on your short game. Much improved greens, great job. Tee box needs more attention though. Friendly staff.
New ownership. A lot of changes to the golf course. More yardage added, new greens, new tee boxes. Clubhouse and outdoor patio looks amazing. A lot of money spent. It opens July 1st, 2020
Very nice Par 3 court. Very well kept
Great pleas ok course staff nice to work with
