You will see the opinions of real people who use the products and services of Angus Glen Golf Club (Golf) in the territory close to Scarborough (Canada).
At present this firm has a score of 4.4 out of 5 and that score was based on 127 reviews.
As you can see its rating is really good, and it's based on a very high number of scores, so we can say that the assessment is very faithful. If people have bothered to rate when they are satisfied with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to give opinions when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Golf belongs to the category of Golf club.
Great place to play golf, other than the hangover, wouldn't recommend anything... maybe the burger.
I can only comment on the hall and food for Angus Glen, as I don't play golf. I was here for an event and the hall was comfortable and well decorated. The food was incredible, even though I was full I could have easily gone for seconds. The staff was fast and friendly. The only down side for us was that there was only one bartender which slowed down the drinks line but at least they were generous with the alcohol.
Not bad
Great course and in great shape. Unfortunately the Marshalls were a challenge out on the course. I appreciate the requirement for good pace of play, however we were asked 4 times to increase our pace, with no behind us and we were occasionally waiting for the group in front prior to teeing off. When we responded that we were trying we were told to "try again". Also, the Marshall's would sit on certain holes "observing" the play which we found a distraction. On average, the timer on the cart indicated we were 10 minutes behind and we also waited for at least 15 minutes at the turn for a hot dog (not a great hot dog either). We found ourselves rushing for no reason as far as we could tell. I encourage management to look at their policies surrounding their Marshalls.
Great track
We played the north course, we had a good time. South course is better
Excellent condition! Fast true greens.
Yeah golf
Did the Lecture series and not the golf this time. Presentation facilities are very comfortable. ????
Great place for lots of different events. Very good staff and helpful.
Absolutely stunning golf course and a must play for everyone.
What started as a great day ended in sheer disappointment. Teed off on a quiet Wednesday afternoon on the south course. The course was in good shape. One problem, the greens were in horrible shape. I don't think I could be any more disappointed. The problem with the greens condition wasn't for just one green. That would be a one off. At least 12 of the holes greens were in bad shape. The first sign of the greens being in trouble was the brutal practice putting green. Slope is listed as 143-134 but today they rolled under 100. So many inconsistent bounces, and rolls. Burnt spots, chunks missing on the green, dirt patches, ground under repairs, etc. I had a friend play here in July and he had a similar experience with the greens. Needless to say, I didn't take his advice. I wish I was wrong, because hey it's Angus Glen. Shouldn't you expect the best when your paying top dollar? There was no transparency from the proshop when checking in on the conditions of the greens. When your paying premium prices you expect a well manicured course. The greens were in such abysmal shape. I would not recommend playing at this club. I will not be returning to play at Angus Glen, nor do I recommend you play there. It's a shame because Angus Glen has fallen off in the past few years. If you want to throw away money then play here but there are far superior courses within a reasonable distance at a similar price point. How far the mighty have fallen.
Christmas lights show was fantastic.
Very well maintained golf course.
Angus Glen is a great venue to host any event! The staff are excellent.
Nice tracks. Well maintained, good service. Challenging layouts. There is a reason the Canadian Open was held here. Try to get it for $100. Rack rate is pretty steep.
Beautiful course. The greens where beat-up in some areas with people not fixing divots and worn areas. Food was good and all the staff could have been a little more friendly but not bad overal. Very nice clubhouse too.
A good place for a golf and seminar
Fantastic customer service here.
Beautiful light display this year!
Amazing lights...wow...its worth the $25.00
Way overpriced. Very poorly maintained, comparatively for how great this place used to be. Such a shame.
Beautiful
Very beautiful golf club
Very Nice Gala Hall
Great courses, well kept.
Great course, always in excellent shape. Played the north course during a fundraiser on this day and enjoyed it.
Nice place for any type of event
We go to this club on a regular basis. It's a great place for social activities and general relaxation. Staffs are always professional, friendly, and very welcoming. Food and natural environment are excellent.
Been there on Mothers day weekend. Brunch was fresh, great quality, very good selection, excellent service and food servers were very knowledgeable about the food being served. Beautiful outdoor grounds provided great views from seating.
I was recently there for an all day event. Terrible. There were 400 of us. You'd think they had never hosted a large event before. One spot for ppl to get coffee. Milk ran out. There eventually opened a second coffee station. The coffee was constantly empty. Waited in line for 15 mins for lunch. They should have set up more buffet stations. Once I got there lasagna ran out, no chicken. No cutlery. Food was sub par at best. Tomato soup tasted like Ragu. Water carafes were empty. Dessert gone by the time we finished our lunch. Dirty dishes left in all the event spaces throughout the day. Not enough staff. Overall I would never recommend this place.
Nice decent place for a walk even if you don't golf. Restaurant is great for breakfast with excellent lookout of the greens
Didn't play golf. Had drinks and dinner. Great service and amazing view of the courses from the clubhouse. Can wait to go back and play!
Liked it.
Great course very well maintained
Love this course, friendly staff, great property, and when we are allowed again great food.
Played the North course. Have no complaints besides the winds on the back 9. Tee to green pristine.
Great track
Way too may outside tournaments. Constant abuse of the hackers ruined the green and fairway conditions. This place used to be enjoyable.
One of the best golf course.
Great golf course that is well maintained given its a busy public course. They focus on player enjoyment here and ensure a proper pace is kept at all tines. Both North and South courses are nice, the South Course would be my favourite. Would certainly recommend playing here!
Nice layout, pace of place could be better and wish all players would fix there balls mark. Overall is a great golf course
Way over priced and they aren't taking care of course like they use to. Very disappointing
Great course... South... Thanks
Always fun to play here but watched a steady decline in service over the last 6 or 7 years.
Nice light show but the price is over. Should bring one car man.to come.
Great ambient sitting outside worth 4 star, food and service 3 star.
Great views, delicious food!! Went here for patio dinner. Had burger and steak. Looking forward to coming back! (PS photos of the golf course were taken right after thunderstorm of July 15 2021 that ripped through Barrie / Innisfil!)
Imagine arriving at what is supposedly one of Canada’s top golf courses and having no one at the bag drop to receive your bags. The restaurant is closed and you can’t get a coffee. Once you get on the course your only option for food until the halfway house is an old roast beef sandwich for $10. Then your golf cart continues to break down throughout your round. Not a great start. The grounds are well taken care of but the speed of play is exceptionally slow. I’ll take a pass on Angus Glen moving forward.
Awesome running series. Have done the half marathon, 10 miler, and 10k races.
One of the best golf courses I ever played. Well maintained. Prices a little high.
Love the vibe of this place???? Thankyou for making our Christmas, a happy one in times of covid. ????
Was good last time I visited.
Beautiful place, attend a friend's wedding at this location. Food was par, but the open bar options were nice. Lots of parking spots for big or small wedding/events. Washrooms were clean and tidy. Overall 4 stars!!!
The stars are mainly for the environment, not huge selections of food, but taste ok.
Nice club
Angus Glen Golf Club is home to two top-quality 18-hole championship golf courses: the North, rated 4-1/2 stars, and South, rated 4-stars. Like its sibling, the North course is a championship layout that ranks with some of the best in Ontario. This open links-style course provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area.
Have golfed here a couple times and have always been blown away by the quality of the course. The staff for the most part are super friendly and treat you like royalty (as they should when it’s a pretty penny to play a round) but as most places there are certain individuals who may leave a slightly bad taste in your mouth, overall beautiful course, one of my favourites. A real treat to play all year round.
Beautiful and challenging course. Every hole offers something different. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great experience!
Beautiful golf course of course. In supporting my favourite charity late last summer - and getting a great gift for myself and friends - I bid and won on a foursome at a silent auction. It came complete with a 2010 expiry date which I couldn't use with only 1 month left last year. But Angus Glen is not kidding. I can't use it this year. Such a shame that their charitable support comes with strings attached.
Love this course. One of my favorites!
Food was wonderful and the venue very festive. We had a wonderful evening.
I came here for an event in winter, so I can't comment in the golf course. But the venue is beautiful with a gorgeous sunset view. And the bathrooms were clean. I would come here again for an event. It looks like a gorgeous place to host small parties.
Great day of golf.
Nice course, but difficult.
Two 18 hole championship courses that have hosted the PGA.
Really Good place to have party and I want to thank helpful staff specially Peter. everything came out perfect!!! Had multiple events there and all were handled really well.
This is a really good course and pretty solid value
Was here for a corporate event, clubhouse seemed nice! Didn't get a chance to golf.
Really great golf course.
My first time play here at the south course. Front is nice tough and back 9 is bit easier. Green were pretty bad condition but I love the lay out. Def not cheap I would like to come back play again
Home of the Canadian Open and you will definitely see why. The clubhouse is top notch and the pro shop is partnered with Nike. The courses are wonderfully maintained and it's as beautiful a course as you would imagine. You can challenge yourself or take it easy depending on one of the 4 available tee boxes.
Try to see if u like it !
Great place for golf.
Unfortunately can only give 3 stars today. Poor place of play at 5hrs. Conditions could have been a bit better, in particular the greens. Definitely slower and bumpier than they should be at a premier facility in June. North course.
Had a corporate membership there for years. Loved the place.
Nice course, golfing is awesome but I wasn't allowed to fish ????????????????????
Dell employee golf tournament. Top notch event all round
Beautiful driving range and excellent lessons.
Scenery is super beautiful. Banquet service was a bit lacking. Refilling wine and water was almost non existence. Staff is nice just slow in general.
Great and attentive staff. I visited the golf club for a bridal shower that fell through and the restaurant staff still allowed us to use the private tower room at no extra cost and we had a fabulous time.
Good brunch.
Fall Special/Nike Promo, Great Deal. Excellent condition for being the end of the Golf Season. Will definitely be returning in the Summer of 2019. 5 Star Facility.
Food is OK, Service is Good, Environment is excellent and price is right.
Great club house with very impressive pro shop. Loved the course and the heavy staff numbers means there is always someone abailable to help. It is one of the more expensive options in the area but the overall experience seemed to justify the cost ????????
Beautiful place to spend golfing and or just hanging out in the bar.
Really nice course to play. Would recommend to anyone who likes to play golf.
Amazing Golf Club Courses! North & South courses are an amazing challenge to all handicap levels. You will truly enjoy it!
Nice view
Had my wedding here. Beautiful terrace and outdoor view. Service by staff was extremely professional and efficient. Excellent process for planning a wedding - smooth and easy. Food was above average :)
2 great golf courses the south and the north , both courses are challenging and the greens are excellent, a must play
Mint condition and incredibly manicured. What a course!
Very good place for golfing
We here for a Christmas party and the service could have been a little better. Food arrived cold and it was hard to find coffee and water refills. The venue was great though!
This is truly a gorgeous course! They offer 2 full 18 hole courses that are so very different. The north course offer a more links type experience with wider fairways and more bunkers whereas the south course twists and turns through the trees and around the amazing priperty much more. One of my favourite course to play in the GTA!
They have the best sunset view
Great course (North) today. Challenging by fair. Conditions were great. If I had to complain, no one repaired their ball marks and all course maintenance was done today. Not true complaints but expected on a Monday.
WORST customer service I had ever had! I don’t mind the LONG wait in the line but I mind very much the fact that the person who is on the gate lets people in as he chooses!! Some people weren’t standing in line and he just let them in and when I asked to speak with a manager he rudely said he was the manager and was too busy to talk...even though he did nothing other than look at people’s papiers and he had other helpers to do that!!! Don’t waste your time or money on this.
Horrible lighting show. No way I spend 40 mins to get in and spend 40$ on that.
Great, challenging golf course, good service, nice and friendly staff.
2 great courses, prefer the renovated South Course now. Conditions is amazing, greens are nice and tricky. Staff is so nice, practice facilities is great. Club house is huge and one of the nicest one in Ontario
Excellent course, find myself coming back again and again.
Very nice course!
Gorgeous Christmas lightings. Feels like walking into a fairy tale wonderland! Loves those beautiful fairies and the great sense of humor Santa Claus. My family already felt the joyful of Christmas even though it’s two weeks away. Excellent arrangement. You can take great pictures especially when it’s not overcrowded. Definitely will join again next year.
Been golfing at Angus for about 10 years. Prefer the South course but both are great. Very well maintained. Excellent staff. Love the club house restaurant and bar. Highly recomend it.
Nice place, good facility.
Course was not in the shape it should be for a $145 round. Greens were very patchy on some holes. GPS on cart we had did not work. We saw cart girl twice all day. Very overpriced, course is not as well maintained as in the past.
It's always amazing hanging out with friends there.
Perfect place for playing golf!!
Very nice place to golf and great staff working everywhere. The food was very good as well in the clubhouse Will visits again
Many greens with too many ball marks, many sand traps unkept and inconsistent ( some nice and soft sand, many hard as concrete and unraked) Pay too much for this course that is not kept up.
Beautiful settings, well manicured lawns but the food at the diner wasn't on point. My burger was freshly made but the sweet potato fries were cold. Primarily because it was close to closing hours.
The drive thru Christmas ???? lights are amazing, just long lineup to go in, so suggest go early and you have to go through a bit faster than we would have liked
Great course. Well maintained.
Took my dad here for his birthday, I don't usually play. But he had a great time, it is a bit expensive. The clubhouse was nice, get to see the whole course. Solid drink menu too.
Held a client event over breakfast with a golf clinic right after. Staff, venue, golf pros were amazing - food and room rental were great. Not one complaint - expect a return from us in the spring.
Top notch facility. Friendly staff and challenging holes.
Extremely friendly staff a well-planned event
Good for lunch or a round of golf
Beautiful golf course with super friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to host a golf tournament!
Amazing course!!
Best!
Great course but maintenance is lacking considering the $140 green fee
Awesome course
Good view, good food and good services.
Beautiful golf course, a bit expensive
Amazing serene place to golf. Good food choices at the restaurant.
Awful wedding venue. Food was terrible, servers were rude, and the venue itself was not at all nice or romantic.
After I paid $200+ at the pro shop I had to go back and use the bathroom. I forgot my mask in my car and they wouldn't give me disposable one to use (after holding it up and showing it to me) because I didn't have a dollar to donate for it (I don't carry cash). I've played 80+ rounds this 2020 season and this course is incredibly overpriced for what you get. You can only hit driver 5 times. Greens are terrible; covered in goose poop and leaves. Save your money and play a different course. I hope this turn into a subdivision ASAP. Oct 12 2020.
first time golfing, very nice golf club, all of the holes were very scenic
Nice track and clubhouse. Pretty challenging courses.
Beuatiful course!
I had the pleasure of playing in a tournament on Angus Glen's South Course, host of many corporate tournaments, including The Canadian Open, and more recently, the World Junior Girls Tournament. I also co-hosted a small golf tournament, two days prior. The weather, on both days, was a contrast of extremes. On Sunday, the day of my tournament, it was a lot cooler than anticipated. A couple of days later, in the tournament I played in, the temperature was a record high for October 1st. We enjoyed the warmth and blue skies while playing but it poured shortly after! It POURED! On both days, the (South) course conditions were excellent, probably a reflection of the recent World Junior Girls Tournament. Lucky for us! The greens and fairways were well manicured and the pace of play was good. On Sunday, the staffing was very low, resulting in a few complaints from our players. The halfway house was closed and most of our players never saw the lone beverage cart making its rounds. Had they known, they probably would have had something from the Silo Grill prior to playing. The service, dinner after the round, and overall experience, mostly made up for it. Tuesday's round started with a variety of breakfast options, with something for everybody. Each player also received a $100 gift card for use in the Pro Shop. Yay! With this being a much larger tournament, using both courses, the staffing was a lot better. From dropping off my golf bag, registering, starting the tournament, and even finishing, it was a really good experience. The GPS screen on the golf carts kept us informed on course conditions and even some impending bad weather towards the end of our round. There were food and beverage stations on the course, provided by sponsors, and the beverage carts were out making the rounds. Everything was complimentary! Yay! Following the round, there was a reception and prizing in the Great Hall. There were several food stations, offering something for everybody. It was all good! It was a very well organized and enjoyable event. Angus Glen was a great venue. The golf course, hospitality service, and all the staff really delivered! Disclaimer: I worked at Angus Glen for ten years, ending over three years ago. I still have friends working there but this review is unbiased. Working and attending an event are two separate experiences. It was nice being a guest!
Beautiful course and fantastic staff.
Just visited the magical lights at Angus Glen Glen Golf Club and it was amazing. The kids loved it. So many different props and light decorations. Reasonably priced so worth a visit.
Nice golf course
We were supposed to play in the tournament but it rained all day. We were told to go and play - no rain checks! Rip off!
Very well done light show! Fun for the family.
Annual 5 miler run, always well managed!
My favourite golf course
Very friend staff, good services, well maintained courses
The golf trainers are excellent and I saw a big improvement in my kids golf technique in just one lesson!

One word AMAZING ????
Beautiful place and good food. Great to spend some time with friends!
Pretty, ranch-styled golf course lodge, with an extensive amount of beautiful holes. Also really good food and great view!
You get what you pay for, the GPS golf carts are nice but if you steer off track it kills the cart which I found to be very inconvenient.
Awsome
The best ever for morning hawks and Golfer .
Great club and so close to home, t time before dinner...
Great challenging course. Fairways a little dry and brown but comparable to other course, par for the course because of a lengthy dry season. Shot a Great game, had food and drinks after at the restaurant. Great Day!
Service was terrible and condition of the course was extremely bad. For paying 125 a round I would expect the leaves on the green to be somewhat minimal, they were about an inch thick, could not even find my ball on the green. I emailed the general manager and did not even receive a response.
We had an office function and the room was very nice, the balcony was inviting, food was good. We had a nice time.
Very cold day for a race, no golf. Thanks for allowing us to race on the cart paths
Attended a function here, food was good and service great. Location is nice on a golf course.
Food in the clubhouse isn't as good as it used to be.
Buffet food for a catered party was so so.
Great golf course with great staff. They hold a community Angus Glen Run on their golf course and it is always a good challenge for any runner with all the ups and downs.
Angus Glen Golf Club is currently hosting a Christmas lights drive through event between November 2020 to January 2021 (but now changed to the end of Christmas 2020). More on that later. Let me start with the good stuff. The lights were interesting, especially the fireworks one and the flowers. Some lights could have had better effects to enhance them further. Now on to the bad stuff. I am surprised that no one has called the organizers out on these problems throughout the whole month that this event has been happening. 1. The hours of operation are inconsistent. One area of the website says that the event closes at 12 am everyday while another part says that it closes at 10:30 pm everyday. HOW can you not decide on what time you close? 2. A few days ago, the Ontario government announced a larger lockdown which restricts drive through events. HOWEVER (I don't know why no one has called them out on this), they CONTINUED to sell tickets and even claimed that they were not affected by this lockdown on their website (the message has since been taken down to hide their sketchiness). It was only today (December 24) that they decided to announce their closure. This was likely done to get their sales up and deny refunds. 3. The third problem... TRAFFIC. How much more unorganized can they get? Well, this light show is one of the only drive throughs that does not have time reservations. What this created was a LONG, and I mean really, REALLY LONG line up that spanned three kilometres from near Major Mackenzie Drive and Kennedy Road all the way up until Elgin Mills and halfway to Warden Avenue. Just have a look at the Google Maps traffic data or the photo attached. This meant that eastbound traffic on Elgin Mills and southbound traffic on Kennedy Road was restricted. This was not even the weekend or Christmas or New Years and it took a hour and a half to get in. 4. Now on to the tickets. It does not make sense why the tickets needed to be checked THREE times. They checked once when turning from Kennedy Road into the entrance, once at the entrance gate, and once when I was already a fifth into the trail (this is when they actually scan your ticket). I thought they were trying to have less contact. 5. The Santa. Ohhh man... how could they not afford a better Santa costume? It looked like they bought a $20 costume off eBay when tickets cost from $30 to $50. It must have gave thousands of children nightmares everyday. Welp! You made it to the end!
Beautiful course I was fortunate to photograph at a charity function for Kerry's Place Autism Services in Aurora, I was lucky enough to play a few holes and definitely recommend this venue for their quality food and service

I don’t have many chances to escape the office and go golfing with my manager but today all the stars aligned! It’s a small corporate golf event at this beautiful golf course and the day is shaping up to be a nice one; high of 25. At this nice facility, we checked in and networked with other participants, enjoyed a BBQ lunch and listened to a keynote speaker before completing a 9-hole shotgun or Range Clinic option. Please let’s not focus on my score.
We attended the Fairway of Lights festival event last night and it was a fantastic experience! A food truck serving funnel cakes, illuminated princesses wandering around, a caricaturist, Christmas carollers, an ice sculptor, and a violinist with fire dancers. The walking path had so many spots for photos and a beautiful display of colourful lights against the trees that reminded me of the Aurora borealis. Complete with a photoshoot with Santa! Oh, and let’s not forget to mention the free beer being handed out at the entrance. LOVED our visit to this event. Will definitely check it out next year :)
We had lunch with friends over the weekend. The food and service we received were both superb.
Absolutely amazing!!!!!
Poor customer service and course not kept up - old garbage everywhere. People clearly don’t replace their divots. Guys at starter completely indifferent to customers
Better than average
Great course and gorgeous buildings
The course was in great shape, greens where a little patchy on some holes but otherwise was really nice. Some fun and challenging holes. Will definitely return.
Golf course in pristine condition very helpful staff
This place gets a one star because I will never be able to afford to go here or buy my own clubs.
Course was in great shape
Amazing golf but the food service is less then par.
Pretty exclusive, but it's nice
Nice golf course
We signed up our son for the private golf class. However, the instructor quitted on the 2nd session without notifying us until we tried to schedule for the next session. The instructor informed us that Angus Glen will contact us with the info for the new instructor. However, we heard nothing until the husband contacted them almost at the end of the season. So my son was disappointed with no golf lessons during this summer. We are so disappointed with the service at the price we paid for.
Excellent Golf Course.
It is such a Beautiful place to run races. They serve superb foods too!!
I'd give it 119 out of 72.
Worked an event here. Staff was amazing and the place is beautiful!
Christmas light show was a nice treat for my young kids. Lineup was an hour long but it was also Christmas night. Workers did a bang up job in tough weather conditions
It's always amazing hanging out with friends there.
Course was in terrible shape for the fee they charged. Gouging for addition cart fees. No service on course until half way house. Bunkers not maintained and minimal course maintenance and staff.
Amazing club!
Professional course and great settings!
Attended a wedding here, beautiful place, a large hall, numerous rooms.
Well done repurposing the golf club and excellent work on light structures!
Such a nice course and green kept near perfection.
well managed golf course!
we held our meeting every Wednesday there come to visit...we love what we do The Painters Group
Venue offers great atmosphere with pretty good food.
Beautiful venue and extremely efficient staff. We were guests as well photographers at an event there and the staff ensured we had an 8-person golf cart for our gear as we drove to take formal pictures.
Well groomed and challenging golf course, I am happy when I make pars, only had birdies two or three times there. Last time we played there it was very congested and there were too many groups, so we had to wait on almost every hole. Best to come early on weekdays.
Beautiful Golf Course. Love that the carts have GPS and tell you where to go. Have played here twice, once for a corporate tournament and once as an outing with a vendor. Great driving range and chipping green.
Beautiful space and excellent service!
Great corporate golf!
Great venue to host your wedding/event! The grounds are beautiful with plenty of photo ops. Interior is nice too. Servers are super kind and friendly.
Played the South Course which is in great shape. Greens are true and rolls nicely. Fairways are in great condition. The Covid situation is well managed, carts are sanitized and available for singles. All staff were seen wearing mask. The only thing was we did not get a score card. The Tee times are spaced out nicely for a quick round. Ours were 4 hours and 20 minutes.
Beautiful Christmas lights festival, gorgeous installations<3
Participated 3miler run in the club.
Amazing staff here and very pretty scenery throughout both courses
Restaurant Staffs were bit slow and hard to get attention from them.
It's good in terms of logging in your health info though...
Ok venue and food
Amazing golf course. But it’s overpriced and they need a Marshall to control the pace of the play
Great place during the winter during these times in 2020. Went here for the Christmas lights, didn’t disappoint. ????????????????
Very open course
The Christmas Light exhibut was OK but the lineup was 2 km long to get in on Christmas Eve
Great we'll kept course
Can't wait for the course to open
Great golf location with restaurants that you can take a break.
Attended a wedding event. Beautiful place. Food was just ok.
Great course and service from the restaurant.
Great day of golfing. Like the GPS enabled display on the carts.
Good wedding venue with food staff.
Both courses are in excellent condition. The south course is more challenging than the north. Great clubhouse and proshop. Excellent service.
Gorgeous course. All the amenities you would expect from a championship course
Terry and vicky r the best
Good hamburgers very windy day some tee blocks in rough condition and a few holes cart path only
The magi and light is pretty good! Staffs are very nice and the lights are very impressive
Went for a wedding reception in April, the grass was not in full bloom yet, but the inside golf club was very nice. Mackenzie room had a large projection display, a clean view for everyone. Staff was nice, the washrooms were clean , fresh and well maintained. The parking lot was little bit away (very little), there was a shuttle for those who need it, especially in winter. In summer it could be a nice walk.
Clean and immaculate club
Great course, always in good condition but get ready to spend $130+ for a regular round. Good for corporate/charity events but likely better deals to be had elsewhere in GTA.
Hands down, simply amazing!
my sons loved the Christmas light show! great for kids, as an adult little disappointing and could find 100 things to complain about. but be prepared for the long line up of cars moves rather quickly.. waited about an hour in line before getting to the front gate for the 15 minute drive thru.. for 45 dollars they could have added a bit more must purchase your tickets in advance
Easily the best course I've played . Really friendly staff and the course was fantastic. For the time of year I couldn't have asked for anything more. My new favourite.
Greens were in really rough shape. Tee boxes were average shape. Rest of the course was in good shape. Greens should be much better for the cost of the round golf.
Course was in very good condition today!
Great course
Great track but was not a well kept as I thought it would be, maybe change of grounds keepers is in order, and you have a nike pro shop in the basement...
If I can give them a 0, I would. Absolute worst experience ever. Went to angus Glen at 430pm for the light show and there was a line up of cars. No problem. We lined up for an hour and we were so excited. The guy at the front was talking to the other guy and wasn’t paying attention and directed us to the left lane where there were no cars in front, then we thought it was weird so we pulled to the right lane with all the other cars cause we had no choice. They came and told us to go to the back of the line because we cut in line... what?!!!! We have been waiting for an hour already and are told to go all the way back of the line due to their incompetent staff. We just left and did not end up going to the light show. What a pity. They need better staff that don’t just chat with each other and properly direct cars coming through especially when people waited an hour or more to see this.. I have a video of our car driving from the right lane towards the left lane at the entrance to show that we waited in line like everyone else..
Great atmosphere for lunch or a business meeting. Plenty of rooms available for all sizes.
Both south and north courses were challenging The courses are not forgiving for off target drives and any shot off target Rough is thick and high enough to make that shot less rewarding Greens are wonderfully tough to get ball close to the pins...elevation and undulations and bunkers Fescue...forget about it...almost impossible to find and unless you are playing in a group and one cart is playing the role of a fore caddie, then consider that ball lost and to avoid slow play take your penalty and move on. Staff very friendly and helpful...practice areas chipping putting and driving range superb facilities and locker rooms top class The pro shop all nike gear...well stocked The par 3 are challenging and rewarding if you make par Like the north over the south...never played on a link course and this is similar in design for most holes These courses are tough and rewarding Enjoy
Was there for a charity event. Very well kept. Probably need to move the tee blocks around on some holes as chunks of grass were missing that were above average. Great greens and a combination of open and tight fairways
I've had a great time at Angus Glen past 8 years (I keep returning!). I came from another club and found the staff and facility to be a welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere. Impressive Range. I play alot of 9 hole rounds as just not the time or capacity for the full tilt and the desk is very accommodating. It's a great spot for a round with friends, pop in for the lounge, etc.
We went to the Fairway of lights with my daughter, son-in-law and 3 of our grandsons. It was beautiful, took lots of pictures and everyone had a very nice time. I cannot say enough good things about the Santa Claus there, he was truly phenomenal, the kids were in awe. I have never seen a Santa as good as he was.
Great facility, well groomed courses. Awesome for tournaments.
We came here for a paint night. The place was very nice inside and outside. Unfortunately, it was too cold to do much exploring.
Went to my cousins wedding here. Beautiful place. They had Chinese food being served by waiters. Excellent service. Good food.
Golf club itself is amazing. Friendly staff and facility is great. Events that are held here by the company are poorly planned, which leads to chaos.
Holes were not Re cut Sept 16 2018 and even worse 3 holes had the cup too high so putts bounced out. 3 fairway bunkers were left to go wild. We couldn't use carts to drive to practice green or range. Way over priced. At best it's a $75 course not the $180 they want. Play elsewhere.
One of my favorite courses to play at.
Played first round of the 2019 season today, always a joy to be back here, been playing here since 2006. This is one of the world class golfing facilities we have in GTA... ????
Great condition for early in the year.
Visited Angus Glen for their Fairway of Lights Christmas light shower experience, and it was beautiful. Everything was spaced out adequately, and there were many photo opportunities. Highly recommended for families and couples!
Fantastic course, brings novice players to their knees. Food is right in line for pricing. Drinks are not expensive. Great place to spend a day with your golf buddies and a challenge for a course.
Nice view
Had an amazing game here recently with friends and colleagues. The course is beautiful with holes with different par levels making the course fun to play as well.
Always a good time, although my score does not reflect lol
Soggy, wet & cart path only but yet so much
It was my first time playing here. For the $140 fee this was probably the worst "bang for my buck" that I have experienced. Course is not well maintained (both fairways and greens), poor signage throughout the grounds makes it hard to even find the entrance to the clubhouse in the morning, and the bathrooms in the main clubhouse aren't even open until 11am (have to go to the halfway house at 10th tee). I think they are living off of a past reputation because I can't see how you can charge over $100 to play a round here.
Nice course but in bad shape, played the north course and it seems it's not being looked after as much as the south.
I have been a couple times over the years and always loved it. Went this year mid june and was disappointed a bit.....course was in average condition as was the driving range. just felt a bit overpriced for the experience compared to other courses, staff i encountered were friendly though.
Played North course. It was over watered and some bunkers were washed out. Carts had no water in the club and ball cleaner and no ball washers on the tees. Food was ok....nothing special. Don't like the mandatory cart rule and the big brother carts that yell at you for being to close to the green. Would play a mid price course twice rather than here once.
Great staff
Challenging course with lots of natural beauty. Hosted the Canadian Open in 2002. Service is fantastic too. It has a mix of long par 5s and challenging par 3s and everything in between. We arrived for an early tee off and the carts were already prepped with our names. We went to driving range while we waited and it was a good opportunity to practice on grass. The carts were well equipped with ball and club cleaners and a GPS range finder screen that doubled as a map and scorecard. The cart let's you know how you are tracking for pace and being electric is also better for the environment. You have plenty of opportunity to buy beer. The cart passed us 5 times on the course.
I was at a corporate golf tournament so it was a long day. The day was even longer due to some cold, windy and rainy conditions for a few holes. The course is in great shape, draining very well so we can finish the round. Ironically, the sun came out for our last two holes. I love the south course.
Fantastic condition and very playable for all
Well manicured. Great pace. Wonderful variety of holes and shots. Whole experience was well run
My dad works at Angus Glenn golf club and he said it's so beautiful no problems staff are friendly???????????????????????? Angus glen
Very well kept and challenging
One of the most beautiful golf courses I've ever played in Ontario. 19th hole serves good food and decent selection of beers.
love this place. great breakfast and wonderful terrain
Use to be an amazing course but since the end of last year it's in bad shape. Played last week and I still can't believe they are charging $145. Played TPC Osprey Valley thursday for $100 and it's 10 times more in shape than Angus Glen
Place looks run down, and the course could use some watering
Beautiful course and good food
Great place for breakfast or lunch. Good views of the golf course and the food is delicious.
Always a good time at Angus!
Played here over a dozen times - fantastic courses (both North and South) and great ambiance
Hit some balls and had lunch ????????????....great people.... always a great place to play golf or eat.....cheers????
Nicely maintained and well behave staff
We had a beautiful wedding at Angus Glen on May 1, 2021 with just our parents and siblings. Thank you to Christy, the coordinator, for all of your help and support and for working so well with us and our wedding planner, Kim, from Envision Weddings. We really appreciate you helping make our day so special!
Loved it,great shape
Love it. With fireworks would be absolutely great!
I played the south course for the first time and the greens were in horrible shape. I loved the layout of the track, but the green conditions ruined it for me. For the amount of money it's not worth it.
Great golf course.
Good facilities with a friendly staff.
Just played a round at the south course. $165 all in and the greens were in terrible shape. I've played city courses that had better putting greens. The only saving grace was the pace of play was good. All in all, save your money and play elsewhere.
Great place for wedding. Very good staff and great service.
Great golf course
Very good maintenance
Angus Glen hosts our events on a regular basis because they do such an OUTSTANDING job taking care of us! Thanks for another great event!!
A bit too pricey for a round of golf. I tried to take my sweet time and shot a smooth +50 over par to make it worth my while.
Fantastic Christmas light show the kids loved it including the big kids .
Great for Golfing
Love playing here every time. Gorgeous views punishing course. Very humbling experience ???? The food and drinks is the best in the area too. But need some improvement in costumer service
Bring your A Game, very unforgiving course. The drinks helped! Could use better menu options near hole 10
It is a good place for golfing...
Fantastic laid out coarse.
Last summer we played the south course, it was in absolutely horrible condition. Large patches of mud on the greens no grass, tee boxes not maintained. All we were told by management is that "we will send someone out to look at it" The real story is the south course was sold to developers. Thanks for nothing (taking our money) and a lousy round of golf, you could of been honest and straight forward. DON'T GOLF AT ANNUS GLEN
Greens in terrible condition!! Couple of tee boxes flooded. Very very disappointed considering Angus has hosted significant golfing events. Called Angus the next day, and got the usual "were sorry to hear that" and we will look into the greens. thought I would google Angus and wouldn't you know it the first review, posted a month ago was someone complaining about how bad the greens were. Obviously I got the bum's rush over the phone, "thanks for your money" and see ya.
Very nice location to host large meeting in the main hall (for approximately 200 people). Beautiful scenery in the fall months. Very good catering for the number of venue attendees. Lots of parking and very clean facilities.
"18th hole deep cherry tree Stollery"
Great service and awesome coarse. I had a great time playing in a charity tournament here. Food was really good.
The "cart path only" should have stopped at about 9:30. The course was dry by then. Other than that, great course.
Terrible greens. Should be ashamed to call itself high end course
Went here for the Christmas show! Amazing experience and great staff!
It was a beautiful day here right course good food
Would never recommend to a friend, absolute terrible course
South course is amazing and very challenging. However, they claim to be the best service in Canada, but I found the opposite. They were totally inattentive, the rental clubs were dirty, no towels available , available bottles water was not offered, and the car attendants ignored us. For an expensive course, you get the service of a public links.
The holes of the course gives the beautiful view and the lights of the ground is very nice.
Very nice place
South Course is more challenging and better shape than North Course. Maintenance condition is not too good, may be due to traffic, lots of ball marks on putting green not being repaired, bunkers not racking in playing condition too.
Great place, wonderful food and service. 5 stars!
What a gem!!! Great challenging course - just beautiful
Lovely location.
As always great time.
I like mini golf
Limitrd food choices
Nice course, very well maintain.
This is the worst place to play golf at. I played south course and the condition were the worst I have seen. I have plaid $40 course in better condition than this place. There were dry patch on the fairway and on the green on almost all holes. The staff were rude and the driving range was in worst condition than the other regular range. Never go play at this course. Better go to eagles nest in Vaughan.
Great Golf Club
Nice golf course the south is better than the north great golf course but not worth the money they charge
Great staff, fantastic facilities, and immaculate course
Amazing view, best in Markham
Lived it
No customer service. The greens were in horrible shape, for such a place. Very disappointing.
The course conditions just aren't up to snuff for a higher end golf course. Service staff seemed disinterested, and had to be prodded to provide us assistance.
I played the north course and it was challenging without feeling impossible. The staff was very friendly and the carts were great. The course was in great shape as well and I will definitely be back.
Wish the practice range opened up the grass but always excellent service
Very nice and challenging course, exceptional conditions and friendly professional staff. Just too expensive, but many of these caliber are also too expensive in my opinion

Excellent club. Tremendous place to have any important ceremonies. This is a 3rd time we attended a wedding here.
Fantastic
We played South Courae, greens were in very poor condition, ball marks everywhere, bumpy, and very sandy. Lots of residual grass cuttings on the second cut and grass growing in the bunkers. Not what I would expect from Angus Glen for $150. Many other courses in GTA better value for money.
Nice
Course is in good shape but a little over priced especially for twilight. You can only use the range for 10 mins before your tee time which is beyond unreasonable. Use the social distance excuse all you want but you are more than 6 feet away on the range.
Magnificent! !! I played the south course today. It is beautiful. Unfortunately it is a Saturday and the round took 5 hours.
Like most establishments post-COVID-19 reopening, they have a lot of retraining to do. Servers failed to ensure to take drink orders promptly. And one server refilled my husband’s gin and tonic with water (this can happen when you serve cocktails in water goblets and don’t add a lime to it). The wedding food was standard fair (beef was very dry). Except the spring roll tasted like the freezer and the “Roma” tomato salad hilariously contained many types of tomatoes, none of them were Roma.
Beautiful golf club with two courses. Everything is very well maintained as expected for a golf club of this caliber. Bar area is decent and the bar staff were friendly. Reasonable fees for the club of you are a member or members guest. Pro shop staff are awesome and both friendly and helpful. Lots of great gear there too. Would certainly recommend!
Beautiful space. Great challenging course. Played the South course during a Tournament. Golf carts could be better, course was great
Always a pleasure to visit. Friendly staff.
10/10 will return
Average golf club food.
Not the course this was back in the day. Angus Glen Is now a poorly maintained, overpriced, run of the mill course with unmotivated staff and a poor service offering. Much better courses out there at less cost.
Wow, great course
Always a great time at Angus Glen. They host first class tournaments
very nice place for dining
I would like to take this time to thank Kelly Wayling for his professional handling of our reservations re our golf experience and dining. I had bought a voucher at a silent auction in 2014 and Kelly extended same thru to 2015. I had to split the foursome and there was no question to do so on his part. The golf was great and the service from Adam in the dining room was as well. Happy to recommend Angus Glen to all my friends due to the service Kelly provided.
Lovely place lovely employees
Angus Glen has a great course. This time however the visit wasn't for golfing, but was for an outdoor wedding. I wasn't aware that they offered this service before now. Great time had by all.
First time playing Angus Glen Saturday May 26, 2018. For $150-$180 the course conditions are mediocre at best. Dandelion/weed patches in the fairways, very inconsistent greens and fringes with small dead bumpy patches all over with some around the holes and inconsistent bunker quality. The course conditions should be far better for the price. Service is good, however for the price I would never return for course conditions like that. Much better conditions elsewhere for half the price.
Very nicely manicured requires precise shot making on beautifully fast greens!!
Played the south course a few weeks ago, in good condition especially with the weather. Tough track and you need to hit a good second shot. The staff were nice and ensured we had a good round.
Great place for a special event
Nice facility.
Amazing golf course! The greens roll true and the tee boxes are nice and even!
Light Show was amazing!!
Great golf courses (North and South) to play, had a problem with our booking time but Steve the pro shop manager took care of us!
The only course i attend. Well, almost.
Absolutely great course. What made it even better was the quality of service especially during the current circumstances. Terry the director of golf was especially fantastic, he went above and beyond to ensure a great round. I can't thank him enough.
Must expensive course I've played this year, and in the worst condition. Tee boxes are better at Bantyes Rost.. but saying a lot. At these prices, new sod is a must. The greens had more pitch marks then I could repair. . After a few holes I gave up tring to remake my pitch mark and a few more. I will not be returning. . Better value out there, too bad as this was one of our regular stops....
Very good
Very good service
Awesome course. Great condition and value for the price.
Two beautifully laid out golf courses. Challenging and well kept. Pretty good bang for your buck if you're looking for a top tier public course. I'm going into my 2nd year as an Angus Glen "flex member" and I honestly can't say enough about the Director of Golf Operations Terry Kim. His customer service is top notch and he really goes the extra mile to ensure his customers and members are 100% satisfied. Last week I finished up my round and dropped off the cart at the cart return area and who was there offering me a ride to the parking lot? Terry Kim. You wouldn't see too many Directors doing this type of task at a golf course and it just shows you how committed Terry is to proving excellent service.
Good service, food is average
Overall great course!! Greens were a little soft and tee decks could use a little extra TLC but the still had a great round!! GPS in the cart is always nice! Beverage Cart was making the rounds and half way house was open. Weather was great and freindly staff!
Nice course, not sure if it's worth the price. Food is not great in the restaurant.
Incredible shape loved the north course
Overpriced and poorly maintained course
2 good courses with lots of challenging holes and tricky greens. Right now the greens are a bit rough on the North course with many have dark scab patches. A bit pricey but otherwise a good course.
Great course. Awesome shape for a public course. Food was really good and the service was great.
Ok it is Christmas I don't feel the holiday and I read about this huge Christmas lighting happening I couldn't resist I had the amazing drive thru and finally could feel the merry in Christmas I know it is about half an hour drive but wow what an amazing show must see it is over by January 7 so hurry up and don't miss it Christmas into enchatment you made my holiday happy
overpriced. prefer south over north course.
Rain didn't put a damper on the road. Course in great shape & greens were fast
Course was in terrible shape for the fee they charged. Gouging for addition cart fees. No service on course until half way house. Bunkers not maintained and minimal course maintenance and staff.
Fantastic customer service here. Because they are a Nike sponsored pro shop, only Nike apparel can be purchased here. It's rather expensive as well. Also, they run a plethora of tournaments here with staff that does not know how to keep pace. I've had numerous 6 hour tournament rounds here.
Fairways are very wet.
Recently picked up golfing and a friend took me out to this club and we really enjoyed our game. Beautiful course with good food and drinks too!
Great course and facility
Beautifully challenging nice track. Its too expensive.
Great place to have lunch and breakfast overlooking a gorgeous golf course
Good service for golf
I cant believe the courses I get to play this year but the weather playes a big part another great day at Angus Glenn
