The gymnasium facility is garbage. The tile is missing in a lot of places with leaks in the ceiling. Super dusty floor as well. The banquet hall is very nice though and the food is delicious. Have not golfed there.

What a fantastic venue for live music! Having been a member of the actual golf course I can tell you that the course is fantastic! From a music lover's point of view, the restaurant area sets up really well for events! Seeing Red Wanting Blue, great band out of Ohio there just last month, I can attest to the sound quality, the vibe, the solid service and the manager's professionalism. Got an event? Huron Oaks Golf Course is one of the best in the area. The holes are a mix of easy and challenging but fun, the sand traps are great (actual nice sand!), there is enough variation in the play to make it fun, and the back nine make it a beautiful course. The down side is getting booking times, as well as the price - it's fairly expensive compared to other local courses.

I've enjoyed the fresh, variable and delicious food served at Huron Oaks since Phil Washington took over. He doesn't prepare the 'usual' boring bar selections. He offers up delectable appetizers like pork dumplings, mezze platter and yummy ribs. We haven't had anything on his menu that wasn't worth coming back to order again and again.

It was great to get out while it lasted. The course was in relatively great shape for the time of year. The big tree on no. 6 has been taken down so you can aim for the pitchers mound. The course is the same solid test. Looking forward to the lockdown ending.

Terrible, simply terrible. My wife and I give restaurants 2 tries. We made an exception. This restaurant again disappointed. My advice: do not go. You will be disappointed. Over charged and your food will be cold.

Took my grandson for golf lessons and Cameron is absolutely amazing!! Just makes you feel good and relaxed and even when you do a bad shot he finds something positive to say about it! Also the staff are very friendly and ready to help.

Went to the Oaks Restaurant for din. Had the steak and chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was made from scratch and my steak was a perfect medium rare. The staff was very kind.

The servers are hit and miss. Sometimes they are great and sometimes they can't be bothered to take our order. The place closes early on Wednesdays and we are often rudely kicked out. This place has potential to be a great spot but I just haven't had great experiences.

Was there for a tournament so did not see all of the inside. It was very clean with nice staff. The carts were clean and worked well. Our meal was ok but slightly disappointing. I found the course a bit confusing and hard to follow. We only played the back 9.

Absolutely horrible experience! The food was terrible, I had a complaint about the food being burnt and over priced for what I received, and the head chef Phil Washington refused to come out to speak to me about it. He hid in the back and told the waitress for our table to tell me that he had already gone home. He ended up sending out another chef to talk to me. And she proceeded to reemburse our money with gift certificates, which really doesn’t help because me and my friends will not be returning. However, with such poor experience with the kitchen the waitress and waiters are extremely nice and did a very good job.

Disappointing doesn't come close to describing my entire party's experience at this establishment on Sunday August 25, 2019. I scheduled in advance a group of 14 people to celebrate a special family occasion. It turned out to be the worst restaurant experience I have ever had! When the first people in our party arrived the table wasn't even set up. The waitress was beyond rude from the moment we arrived until we left. We had 2 menus for a party of 14! Can I get a refill on my drink...hello...hello...waitress.............did she go home? If you're planning a special event and want service of any kind this is not the place to go. One person in our group did not even receive his meal. No apology from anyone, I had to ask that his children's meals be refunded to him. This should have been the offer that came with the apology for forgetting his meal altogether. When our food order was taken we were not asked about toast that came with our meal. When the meals arrived the "hash brown" was clearly yesterdays baked potato that was being recycled by reheating in the microwave. It was dry and disgusting. Note to chef, if a potato hits a hot pan it creates nice crisp golden brown colouring. Cooking 101. The final straw was the waitress taking my mother's cash and never returning with her change. When we tracked her down she was rude stating that she thought she was told to keep the change. Like she deserved a tip from anyone. Today, I called the manager and left a message requesting a call to discuss what happened. So far crickets. That speaks volumes. Thank you to The Oaks for taking a family celebration and turning it into a monumental disappointment.

To begin with my party of 14 had a 9:30am reservation at the restaurant. The table was not set up when people started to arrive. We waited almost an hour to even get a drink order taken. When all was said and done one person didn't even get their breakfast. No offer was made to reduce the bill. The waitress was rude to the entire party like we were the cause of the problem. Our reservation was made a week in advance so it's not like we arrived without warning. Let's talk about the food now.... the potatoes were cleared yesterday's food that were reheated in the microwave because they had no browning and were very dry. The breakfast sandwich I got was comparable to McDonald's in appearance and taste, I might have actually preferred McDonald's version. Our drinks were rarely refilled and when they were it was done in a rushed fashion leaving coffee and hot water all over or table with nothing to clean it up. So the moral of the story is to avoid eating here.

You are going to get one of the best and maybe more difficult courses with a round at huron oaks. I played today and really got a reminder of how many tools aren't in my bag. A lovely venue for events as well, or just breakfast, or a spa day, or any reason you can want to hang in the grove. Driving range is legit. Indoor golf in winter isn't half bad. Food is good and drinks are wet. Come for the golf first though. Solid course and well groomed.
