STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE A CASUAL GOLFER.
I am 6'4" so I was looking to get a set of customized clubs, so that, for the first time in my life, i actually have clubs that fit. 1st day I get a set of irons ordered no problem. Since it is custom shaft length it'll take a bit because they have to custom order it from the factory. Fine, no problem. They tell me to come back on a Friday so that I can get properly fitted for the woods, because that's when the machine is setup and the pro si there. Fine, no problem.
After them letting me know my irons were ready, I call ahead and give them a half hour notice that I will be coming. When I get there I still have to wait more then 45 minutes before the pro comes to see me. I have some money to spend, so I want to get a nice set of woods. I suggested TaylorMade, because my dad plays with them, I like there stuff, and my new irons are TaylorMade's, but really I am open to whatever the pro thinks I should have. To bad the pro is more concerned with making sure my swing is good then getting me into a club that will actually work for me.
For the next hour, instead of actually fitting me for a club and figuring out what I need, he spends the time critiquing my swing and making me make adjustments every single time I swing the club, then he tells me at the end to go to the range and practice and come back a month later so that he can fit me, because my swing is inconsistent...OF COURSE IT IS, YOU MADE ME DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT EVERY SWING...oh, did I mention he did this, WITHOUT SELLING ME A CLUB THAT IS THE RIGHT SIZE, so that I would be practicing with my too small driver, which is one of the reasons my swing is so bad in the first place...the entire time this is happening, he is telling me about how he could just sell me an offset club, or club with weights and adjustable shafts that would make the ball go straight, but then I wouldn't learn the proper technique?? It's literally only when I am at checkout for my irons and tell them I'll be going to Golf Town/one of the chain stores instead for my driver that the other people in the store finally tell him to set me up with a club that will get me on the course. By this time we have been there for almost 2 hours, hit nearly 100 golf balls, only now does he even try to figure out a club that will work for me. I finally get a driver, but he does it so casually at this point, that I honestly don't know whether it was the best club for me, but by this point I just wanted the ordeal to be done.
Unbelievably bad customer service. I will not be back.
