Course easy for beginners, and well kept. Clubhouse food options lacking, not prepared for more than individual dining, groups encouraged not to stay even after advanced notice (8 people, 1 week notice to celebrate project with golf and dinner, met with much caution and warning by the single staff present when we walked into the clubhouse).

I can say that the staff are great and will accommodate everyone to the best of their ability. Both courses are a challenge and fun to play. Special thanks to Steve and Rob for helping me out. Played the Quarry for the first time in Aug 2016. Course was in great condition and I was thoroughly pleased all around!

For a city course they keep the course pretty well maintained but the organization is poor. Often times my foursome is being rushed by a single or twosome during peak times on weekends which doesn’t make your golf game a slow paced easy experience.

Love the quarry. Its just challenging enough to have fun. Stay outta the gopher holes though! Sometimes they book rounds too close together but I've never had a bad day.

I came here for xc, it is a good track but there is a steep hill at the end. One of the only meets with a snack bar though so that is a bonus.

Traditional: Better of the two courses, more difficult and typically in better condition especially after a solid rain. Greens run true, however on the slower side, so breaks tend to be exaggerated. Overall a great course for the price. Quarry: Challenging when windy due to the openness of the course, overall not very difficult. Laid back lay out with little course management involved. Great for beginners.

The golf was Ok, but Im just here to say, dont eat the "Par 4 burger" if they still sell that. It came out of a box and was half cooked. It certainly did not make par.

Quick thank you to the staff that helped us at the course today. I booked the wrong course online (Thames Valley Hickory), didn't realize until we got to Fanshawe, they kindly cancelled the other booking and squeezed our twosome onto the course. Much appreciated.

Been a member here for a few years now and the other city courses too. Can get slow at times and tend to get more hacks than normal since it's a municipal course. But all in all good bang for your buck.

Played the Quarry today after about a 4 year break of the course and I have to say I have never seen it is as good of shape as it is right now. The grounds crew have done an excellent job converting this from a dry Naren wasteland to a lush green course. The greens could use a little more love but beyond that the course is in great shape.

Staff is always great, we played the Quarry course, back 9 is soaked and greens 7 and 14 and pretty ripped up. But always love playing here.

A little too agro for me. Challenging course in good condition. Too distracted by the three near fights I saw today to have a good game, though. Little hard to have a good chip shot when the guy on the hole across is threatening to crush an 80 years olds head with his 9 Iron for "playing too fast"

Good course to play, have 2 courses to choose, always a busy place. Fees are reasonable. No options to book online, u need to call in to boon all the time. Also been there a couple times where we booked the tee time and they forget to put on the book.... so make sure they put on the book before you hang up the phone.
