Caradoc Sands is one of the best and most popular golf courses in the Strathroy and west London area. It is a challenge from all tee boxes. Greens are quick and fair. The course is well maintained and is always in great shape. The club house is perfect for gathering after the round for a beverage or somehing to eat. Service is quick and friendly. I love this course. My only negative is that it is always busy and sometimes difficult to get a convenient tee time. Recommended.

Our wedding at Caradoc Sands was a great experience. The pricing, free decor and the waterfall backdrop for the ceremony were what sold us initially, as well as the coordinator at the time. We booked a year and a half in advance, so there were a few changes that happened in that time, including a new coordinator. We were nervous about this because we did have a lot of confidence in her, but Jessica stepped in and did a great job. Jess is very laid back but it is evident that she has a lot of heart in what she does. She set up all the greenery for the table centrepieces, made sure the whole reception and ceremony space was set up perfectly, and was very “hands on” on the day of. My wedding party was impressed at how often she came and checked in, like how dinner was etc. The staff was all very nice and friendly, and all seemed to care that the day went well. There is a convenient bridal suite downstairs that we got dressed in which is nice for access to store the belongings of the wedding party during the day/night. I loved the garage doors that open onto the patio for the dance floor. We appreciated their flexibility in accommodating a lot of our requests. Food was delicious!! There was a lot of “extras” that went a long way, like custom labels for the table wine with our photo, a slideshow with custom drinks listed above the bar that Jess put together, golf carts for the wedding party to use for photos, and of course the free decor. I only purchased greenery for centrepieces and used lanterns and candles that the venue had. Jess was always free to meet with us or chat on the phone and was really good with quick communication throughout the whole process. I played March 8th 2020 it was nice day +13° only this golf course was open I was surprised they charge me $35 with walking quiet expensive, and there not available powercart, du to still have snows on the golf course, but usually early spring they charge $45 with powercart.

Good condition always and season long. Open and friendly course good for beginners. Only qualm is tee times booked tight so rounds play longer. If you want a fun round more casual, caradoc is great (kitchen and bar are quite good, too). If you want a challenge and faster pace of play but more bare bones goof head over to bear creek.

Attended Caradoc Sands recently for a Paint Night that was being held there. Although the third-party host is not directly associated with Caradoc, the food was fantastic, bar staff very attentive and efficient, and drinks reasonably priced. I golf here once in a while and love the course as well. Highly recommend Caradoc for events and golfing.

Great place to hit a round of 9 or 18 with the guys...or girls. The have a very nice and well maintained course with a good variety of par 3's 4's and 5's. Beautiful clubhouse to hold any event you'd need...work or family events to Christmas parties...they even do weddings! Go in and inquire about the packages they offer and the rediculous sized menu to pick from for deserts and also large menu for main courses and app's! And the wedding photos there look great if you're wanting a lot of scenery and a nice waterfall too!

Hello! I am 12 years old and golf here every Sunday with my dad. The course is very well maintained and offers a fair challenge. Everyone who works here is very kind and the clubhouse food is great. I would recommend this golf course to any golfer I know.

Beautiful golf course with a fantastic pub! The course is very well maintained and the food is delicious! Just don’t accidentally hit your ball into someone’s backyard... the house owners along the 18th hole are not very friendly. Also house construction can be a bit distracting on the 17th hole but every other hole is very quiet and peaceful!

We had our wedding here in febuary and it was wondeful. Excellent price and the best staff. Beautiful venue. The food was amazing and portions were HUGE. Alicia the onsite coordinator was incredible and so professional and gave so mant great tips for the entire wedding! 100% recommended! ????

Incredibly rude service in the restaurant. The younger servers insist on commenting rude remarks about the amount of food my mom ordered, saying things like "are you really going to eat all of that" this has happened on two seperate occasions. As a server myself I find this to be incredibly rude and demeaning to dinner guests. No server should ever shame the guest for ordering "too much" food. This is weight shaming and reflects poorly on the whole buisness.

Great course to play. Played it twice so far and my game was a little better on the second go. The course plays nicely with a par 5 to start the round and there is a good mix of par 3's and 4's on the course too. We managed to play the round in a decent time and one of their daily deals includes a steak after the round which was a great way to finish the round. It is a bit of a drive from London but on their deals it is worth it as the quality of course is hard to beat in the area. Its also one of the first courses to open in the year as they have excellent drainage and like their name suggests they are built on sand.

Truly disappointed with this establishment. Received our round confirmation email which stated that our round would be $35 due to the green aeration being performed this week. When we were charged $69 each, we inquired and showed the email confirmation to the pro shop staff and they laughed at my wife and I, insinuating that we were stupid for believing the email that was automatically sent from them. His reply; "stop believing what you read on the internet"... To the gentleman and lady at the counter, shame on you for disrespecting us when all we did was asking for the rate that was provided to us from the confirmation email. Error or not, it should be honored until rectified.

The lady I talked to on the phone, to make a reservation was so helpful and friendly. Everyone was helpful, courteous and friendly. When we arrived we were greeted, shown to our table and promptly served. My friend had the cheeseburger and salad, which he enjoyed and I had a wrap and fries. Very yummy. The scenery is beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed our time there very much.

This is most definitely a terrific golf course with a driving range, a couple of putting/chipping greens and a really nice clubhouse with a patio overlooking the 18th green. The fairways and greens are well manicured and the scenic layout offers a variety of challenging holes that make you really think about club selection. Even though it was very busy the day we played, there was a Marshall on the course keeping things moving. Pace of play was quite good. If I had one recommendation, I would say it's probably time to update their carts. Starting to look a little run down and outdated. Overall I would most definitely recommend this course. It's reasonably priced and playable by all skill levels. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to playing it again.

Caradoc Sands is a gorgeous wedding and event venue that our decor team has had the opportunity to work at several times. The staff are always incredibly accommodating and helpful, in particular, their amazing event coordinator. I have worked very closely with Alicia at Caradoc Sands on several occasions. I have found her to be extremely helpful, proactive in her communication, and incredibly insightful into all aspects of weddings. Anytime we have had shared clients, I have heard nothing but praise for her. Her personable and detail oriented nature make her a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Caradoc Sands as a venue, and if you are fortunate enough to work with Alicia for your event, know that you will be in great hands!

So after our group paid 1000$ + we were rushed since hole 1 because they booked our tee time same time as a member and the rest of the 18 we were rushed by the Rangers to the point where golf edicate had to be sacrificed to continue up to their par speed. Very rude comments while I was putting but of course accepted us into the restaurant after to spend more Money with smiling faces. Never again.

Heard good things about the restaurant but, when attending a wedding reception, was not impressed. Huge delays between courses and food was a let-down. I heard a lot of complaints during the meal about the food and service. In fact, the complaints dominated the conversation over the evening when we should have been focused on celebrating the wedding. The schedule overlap with another wedding made the service clumsy and confused. The facility was nice though.

Course is in great shape have been out twice this season (birdied #1 both times!) Would be great if pro shop or starter reminds players to fix their ball marks. Pruning a lot of the overgrowth on 4 and 6 would help a lot of the thinning grass. Also, some hilarious pin locations on 8 and 12. As per Rule#32-b : "An area two to three feet in radius around the hole should be in good condition without any steep slopes or, if possible, any changes in the degree of slope. In other words, the green in the holing-out area should be as nearly level as possible and of uniform grade, but it need not be exactly level. In no case should holes be located in tricky places or on sharp slopes where a ball can gather speed. A player above the hole should be able to putt with a reasonable degree of boldness, and not purely defensively."

Took forever to play the course. No marshal to keep things moving. Stater let a twosome go then a single then another twosome. On the back 9 two couples had time to take pictures while playing but would let better(or at least faster) players play through. Lovely course but shouldn’t take almost 5 hours to play.

Expensive for that kind of layout not very interesting and they put people off front 9 and back 9 . Then you have to wait for 3 or 4 groups before starting your 2nd 9 .Just want your money and don't care about the golfers.

Went there Nov 28th/20 for supper with my son's. We all had great food. You guys really need to advertise your dining room in town. With maybe some signs. It's so easy to forget you have a dining room. The food was excellent. I totally forgot to take a picture because my first bite was so good I just kept eating. Looks like they've really amped up their menu. It's amazing. I had the Brissy Business. Brisket sandwich. Wow. One of the best sandwiches I have had in years.

So disappointed with the service at my son’s wedding and how poorly guests were treated. On what is supposed to be the most special day of a couple”s life, they now reflect back on the lack of service, planning and support they were given on their wedding day. It may be slightly cheaper but not worth the headaches. Go somewhere else.

Dining : They cut pie into squares. The food wasn't solid (brunch buffet), adventurous even for a smaller town, but they cut pies (in the pie plate mind you) into squares. I don't know if the patisserie is a sadist, self hating or both, but if you go you can guarantee that your pie will be butchered and served with four sides. Shameful.

Pulled off the highway to play 9 holes and take a break. This is a beautiful golf course. Fairways and greens were immaculate. Course is a fair test with long par 5s and challenging par 3s. Some of the par 4s are less than 300 yards, but narrow. Traps do not have sand, but the gravel was softand easy to hit through. Very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this course!-FJK

So disappointed. Bought a ham and cheese sandwich at the turn and it was dry, shredded cheese fell out and no butter on the bread. Poor quality for the $7 price. Won't be buying again.

I Was here to photograph a wedding. I really enjoy shooting here. The reception room is well laid out, the food is awesome, the grounds offer several locations for photographs and are easy to access and have sweeping views of greenery and awesome colours in the fall. The staff does a great job on decorating the room. The coordinator is amazing, she goes above and beyond for her clients and has an exceptional personality and work ethic for her clients. ????

Celebrated a friend's wedding at Caradoc Sands and I was embarrassed for them. The bar staff were in dress shirts and yoga pants, the "manager" if you could call her that was rude to guests all night and even ended up getting into a screaming match with the groom. The food was mediocre at best. They are not very professional. So if you want a wedding to remember please don't book here.

Very nice golf course and well maintained, even though par 70 still has challenging a long holes where you need to navigated your clubs to approach the pins. Also has some small elevation changes that makes your game more interesting. Greens in good condition and bunkers full of sand. In general I will come back to play here
