Fun
Great golf course
Positives first... 1) beautiful golf course 2) nice green space 3) lots of potential Negatives .... 1)Signage was not good so we took out our awning because we didn’t know where we were to go and got into a tight area 2)lack of garbage cans and what was there not emptied 3) Bathroom cleaning time was 8 am (start of the day is silly) and then the garbage was not removed or the soaps filled 4) Dump station was kind of backwards and hard to maneuver 5) Sites need to b leveled and were basically dirt, thankfully no rain while we were there and the picnic tables were shabby, we even had to have one replaced and all they did was take from another site 6)Playground got shut down for construction and we were not informed and no discounts offered on top of the pool being pulled out for this year (their site informed us of that) 7) Booking site was really hard to use 8) could use a little convenience store being it is so far from town 9) Free wifi was non existant We will try again next year and chalk it up to the construction and renovations!
Beautiful golf course, fantastic scenery. Great campsite with tons of space, main stage, the club house has great food, too
Nice place. Pool isn't open yet. Nice and quiet location.
Beautiful club
Nice swimming area. We ended up on a site so slated I was worried our trailer would roll away in the night whole we slept.
Nice friendly staff and the course is more challenging than you think
Outdoor pool is nice. If you're looking for a decent pool just within few minutes drive, this would be my pick.

Interesting layout but not easy
Beautiful area with lots of things to do.
Beautiful spot to visit. New pool looks amazing. Not just a hole in the ground; more of a resort type feel.
My dad has a camper out here and I enjoy visiting very much. It is a pleasant area to walk around, swim, and enjoy others company. I play this golf course often and really enjoy it. It is great for high handicaps and has awesome sights - #9 is gorgeous in the middle of the summer. I haven't been out to the barn for any sort of event, but have heard good things about it. Looks like a fun place to be when there are parties over the weekends. The washrooms around the grounds are surprisingly clean. I believe they are fairly new, two or three years old, but I would never have expected such nice washrooms at a campground.
Very nice golf course - and only one water hazard. Well maintained.
Greens are in good shape.
Challenging short 9 hole course in beatiful valley setting. Course condition is good. Bar and food service available too.
Good layout
My son's wedding. Not a bad place.
Beautiful little golf course.
This review is for the beach area only: excellent beach area. $6 for adults, baby's free, not sure of the kids price. Large man made pond, cement painted blue covered in a nice layer of sand. Large beach all around that is raked and cleaned, lots of large trees for shade. Water is shallow to waist deep and then about 7 feet deep at the deepest part. There is a fountain that sprays water and a floating dock at the deep part to jump off of. Access to the area does require travel on a dirt range road. Overall a great place to bring kids.
Excellent service and well groomed and maintained..great day of golf.
A little bit of Freedom ????
Beautiful course. Friendly staff at the clubhouse.
Stunning view from the last hole.
Love this golf course. Easy to walk but challenging to play.
Had a fantastic week of camping here this past summer; the "pool" deserves special mention. Nice facilities overall and so close to Regina.
Relaxing place awesome for family and not only
Love rving here
Nice camping spot great swimming hole and almost in Regina
Great day of golf!
Great golfing!!
Great for large groups of people weddings
Fun golf course. Friendly staff.
Nice place. Will be even nicer once the insanely huge pool is done
awesome
Absolutely amazing shape considering it has been 45 days without rain. $25 gets you green fees and a shared cart on weekdays.
Decent golf course, good prices. If you use the coupon.
Great place to play golf...
Nice semi executive course!
Newly renovated pool area, new overflow campsites, 50 amp hookups so be prepared with adapter for 30 amp. They do sell dog bone adapters at clubhouse. Seasonal site locations aren't clearly marked and we made mistake of setting up in one, but they where okay with it when we realized our mistake.
A great place for family's and friends!
Great little course. You need to take Amex for cart deposits or figure out something else for those who don't have MC or Visa.
Good picnic area for corporate events
not bad
Great place to take the family camping. Close to Regina, 9 hole good course, playground, and pool for everyone to enjoy. Also a nice place for weddings and other events up at the old red barn!
The new pool is awesome! Very clean and awesome for every age from babies to adults, lots of fun water features! We will definitely be returning!
We have a seasonal sight and great little 9 hole course
A very delightful golf course. Beautiful ♥️. Food was great too.
9 hole golf course really nice... 2 for $52 w cart Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm
Nice place
Beautiful day at Sherwood Forest. Fun round with son Dillon. Thanks Robert Hammett for the hospitality.
Beautiful.
The staff here was very nice and helpful and the course is forgiving enough for golfers of various levels.
It was very good. Played as a twosome and slower golfers were very courteous by letting us play through. Thanks
I would not recommend renting the red barn. The whole renting process is unorganized and I paid way too much for what I got. OVERPRICED! The workers are super uninformative and I had to ask way too many questions to get minimum answers. The website said that there was a ball diamond so I asked to use it as I wanted to play a ball game as part of my wedding social. I would have only needed it for 2 hours and they charged me $175.00. I decided to check the place out a couple days before the party and realized there are picnic tables and trees in the middle of the ball field. No where on the website explained this to me and the worker did not mention this either after I told her I wanted to play a ball game. So I had to last minute cancel.. The website needs to be more informative... The bartenders are also very inexperience as there were a few instances where things wouldn't work for us (coffee maker and heater) They kept arguing with us saying the coffee maker was broken and the heater takes a while to turn on.. We found out the breaker blew which is why the coffee maker didn't work and after an hour of no heat my uncle decided to go downstairs and check it. The heater wasn't lit so that's why the heat wasn't working. They were super unhelpful and came across rude. They also said there was a security man going to be at the party to make sure if anything goes wrong (like the heater not working or breaker going out) that he will make sure it get's fixed. He showed up twice... not impressed. All in all it was a really bad experience and I feel like I lost a lot of money for something I did not get. Lesson learned though! I hope this helps those who are interested in renting the barn out for the night. The inside is beautiful, but the service is terrible!
Good beginners course.
Very nice camp ground had some trouble finding our spot as it was not marked. If the lady at the desk would have told me it was at the back stop of the ball diamond. I would have found it easy. Thanks to all the seasonal campers that help me out as there were cars parked in our spot because there was a event going on in the old ball diamond. Not the nicest camping spot but we booked it last minute so it was good to get pwr and water. My advice to the camp ground would be. Try to be more informative I wouldn't have known this was a campground if my wife hadn't lived in Regina before.
Amazing conditions,I'll be back.
Very nice
Great place to get away and relax
Nice place. Will be back
Awesome
I used to love golfing out there. I never had any problems booking a tee time. Now it’s virtually impossible. I understand that members get first dibs however there should be more tee times set aside for the general public. The most frustrating is that more times than not you have to leave a msg and they don’t return your call. If you want to be a private club no problem. But don’t advertise that public is welcome. Customer service is horrible. Food is great though.
Good prices, good service
NO SWIMMING AREA IN SUMMER 2018: We checked out the website, looking for an oasis in the prairies. Everything looked good online, until we pulled up to check in. The Swimming area was entirely excavated. We had a very disappointed 7 year old who was just excited to hit the beach. After talking to the manager, he did refund our money. He even told me that he want to have the construction listed on the website, until the shareholders told him to take it down. So, while he was very understanding and worked with us, I score this low for the false advertising. Checked out the River Side Campground in Lumsden, in the Qu’Appelle Valley 30 Minutes out of Regina. A beautiful little town! Highly recommend the campground: Hot showers, spray Park for the kiddo, Baseball Diamond, and great service!
Nice place to golf and they have a great 19th hole!
It was my first time golfing, it was a good beginner course and had lots of fun on the cart down the big hill at the end. The food was alright, average pub type food.
Last year, my wife and I trailer camped here for about month and half while I was working in Regina. The rates were reasonable, the facilities are kept in good repair and the grounds are picturesque. I would recommend the facility except for one issue. One weekend there was a wedding on the grounds. While the partying was at the wedding pavillion, the noise was tolerable; however, shortly after midnight, the drunken party moved to the trailers directly across from ours. Soon the sound systems were blaring and the voices were shouting to be heard above the din of the "music". It was impossible to sleep. First, I tried to request that the party animals turn down the music. That worked for a few minutes, but soon the musak inched back to full volume. I located the Club personnel who were tearing down the equipment and complained. They visited the party animals who while they were there turned down the muzak; however, as soon as they left, back up the volume went. I complained again, demanding to speak to their supervisor. They called Nick (but would not let me speak to him) and explained the situation. Again, another visit to the animals. Down the volume went, but as soon as they left, back up it went. Again, I demanded to speak to Nick. Again, Nick was called, and again they went back to the animals who by now were very drunk, disorderly and belligerent. However, this time, the Club personnel negotiated that the music would be turned off. With the muzak off, the party settled down to shouting punctuated with raucous laughter. Soon the muzak came back on, softly at first and then up to din level. Again, I went to Club personnel and demanded to speak with Nick. No luck, but they called him again, and again negotiated with the animals to turn the muzak off. Amazingly, this time it stayed off. It was just before 4am that I finally got back to bed; however, I had to leave for work that morning at 7am, and quite frankly, I was concerned about leaving my wife close to the company of the animals who were still in party mode. You will note when you read the "Terms And Conditions" for staying at the Club that "excessive noise, abusive language, rowdiness or drunkenness will not be tolerated"; however, these behaviours ARE tolerated and the T&Cs do not appear to be enforced in any reasonable way. This was a huge negative in what would have been an otherwise a pleasant stay at the Club.
Excellent
The golf course is in tremendous condition, the 2 ladies that were working were very friendly...and one had really killer yellow nails.
Great little golf course. Close to city and good rates.
A nice little private camping/resort area. Sweet 9 hole golf course. All the fixin's. With a new world class pool as well.
What a beautiful place just outside the city!
Always a good time out here but the pool reconstruction is taking a little too long
Wonderful upgrades, and interested to see the results of the pool

It was a blast
Excellent new pool! Grounds are well taken care of, and the change rooms are clean. Food is a tad on the expensive side, but it is very good!
Beautiful course! My favorite place to golf!
Great but windy
Just stopped by to check on our spot and would like to thank the staff and shareholders for everything that they do to to keep things running as smoothly as they can during some trying times. Looking forward to the upcoming season.
Nice campground. Decent golf course.. Really stretched out course. Very dusty road to get there. Takes 2 car qashes or more to clean up from a trip out there
Greatest family all around facility, golf, swimming, horse shoes, recycled asphalt roads, mens & ladies night, restaurant. Social club, July1st celebration with fireworks, people wave or say HELLO when they see you. LOVE IT.
It is a unique place 10 mins from Regina. My parents had a spot there 50 years ago. There have been a lot pf changes since. State of yhe art swim centre, beautifull and challenging 9 jole golf course. Great clubhouse and restaurant. My wife golfs there once a week. Her and o wwnt two weeks ago. We use to rnjoy pulling our yrailer there when our kidsxwete young, 35 years ago. Still a great place. Al
A secluded hideaway just minutes from the city.
Tenting area was close to a creek and just up the hill was a barn where a wedding was taking place, and an anniversary celebration was taking place next to the tent area. We were the only tent campers. We were concerned the two celebrations would mean no sleep but that wasn't the case at all, we had a great night! The trees are very small, but that wasn't an issue. Will definitely be back next time we visit family during warmer months!
Great aay to spend a sunny day
Nice place
Nothing!! Never found it. Crazy location ever
Got 2 brothers who have trailers here and visiting is always a pleasure. Cleaner than one would likely imagine. Plenty to do too.
Beautiful place. More people should find out about this place so close to Regina.
Nice 9 hole course. Really professional stuff.
Nice little golf course, well kept fairways and greens, a little pricey though.
Expensive for smaller 9 hole course
It is great for summer enjoyment
Had a wonderful breakfast at the clubhouse. The new pool looks fantastic!!!
Love this little gem!!
Great 9 hole course. Not too hard. Good for a beginner, like me. Some challenging shots.
Fantastic!
Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and friendly people. Location is great for quick get away!
The campground is really run down. The bathrooms/showers were very dirty and in need of a lot maintenance. There were lights out, the mirrors were very distorted (none breakable kind) and soap dispenser didn't work. There was mold/rust in the showers and in need of repair. If you're camping without a big RV and need water, there is no where to get that. The campsites are very cramped and close together without any distance or plants/shrubs for privacy. The staff runs the golf coarse and they were not very attentive to requests about the campsites. The campground is located several miles/km west of Regina and you have to travel gravel roads for some distance to get to it. It is not well marked to get to it. I would have stayed somewhere else if we didn't have reservations and we were there for only 1 day. The photos on their website must be old and are very misleading. I would not recommend this campground. The golf coarse looked nice however.
Wonderful little golf course, greens are great. Good course for young and old alike. Beautiful scenery.
