Lots of positive changes under new management (spring 2017). The course is great for beginners or a real quick round, you can leave half of your bag at home, it's a short course. Drainage is an issue for the course after extended periods of rain, you may encounter standing water & a course that's saturated - bring your waterproof shoes!

Liftlock golf is a low level golf course in the city of Peterborough. Nothing fancy but pricing is reasonable for what you get. Par 60 so lots of par 3 holes. Greens are little worn this year. I know what I get before I go so no complaints overall.

Great course for beginners. Not as high-end as other courses can be which is relaxing. Par 3 course is great, and all other services are what you'd expect from a golf course. Thank god they didn't build the casino here!

This golfcourse is a par 60 which means it’s pretty small! It only has a few par 4s. Great for beginners. Friendly staff. Course layout was ok and conditions were half decent a lot of dug up mud and debris laying around. The round was cheap booked through golf now. You probably don’t need a cart since the course is so small!

this course needs water stations and a cart person. Very poor green and fairway quality and not a very good course all around. Staff need to learn some golf etiquette.

My rating has nothing to do with the golf course but everything to do with the manager. Hired my son for 3 days and due to Covid was laid off and never brought back. They posted an ad on Kijiji looking for employment and hired my son on the spot. After 2 weeks of Constant texts they finally Paid him cash for the time worked. BRIAN didn’t have the decency to hand him the money himself and say thank you for your help. Pretty sad for a locally owned business.

Fun course for new players. Can get busy at times so can be slow. Price is good for the area and the new management has done an incredible job making the whole place look great. Kudos to Kim and Gerry and their team.

Liftlock is a par 60 course it's maintenance has come a long way from what it was a couple years ago. However tonight I had a tee time at 5 o'clock and was supposed to be joined by someone. When I got to the first tee off there were 2 groups waiting, one group on the tee block and another group on that green (it's a par 3) there was no starter and I had no idea what was going on with guy that was supposed to join me. I finished the 1st hole at 5:30 and then was waiting behind 2 groups again at the second hole. After waiting 10 more minutes at the second tee block I decided to leave and ask for a refund. I did get another round on the house but it ruined my night for golfing since I had no time to go somewhere else. I wouldn't care if it was as cheap as it use to be but I paid 50.50$ for 18 with cart on Wednesday at 5 o'clock. That's the price of a par 72 with a cart so I'd expect some level of organization and maybe a starter/Marshall to help things along. It was also ladies night which I was only informed of upon arrival. I hope this is resolved I really like playing this course but for that price it's gotta be better.

A friend of mine and me went and did 18 holes yesterday was my first time ever golfing on a coarse i scored a miserable 95 but was the most fun ive ever had. Club house was nice coarse was nice. Only paid 30 bucks oer person with a cart.

It was the worst Golfing experience my group has had. Only being able to play 8 of the 18 before we were rudely interrupted by an employee to the point that we felt un welcome at the course. We spoke to a manager who did absolutely nothing but argue with us, saying that what we were telling her was a lie. As far as golf goes, its a terribly maintained course on most occasions. We were told by the manager "dont even bother going anywhere else to golf because it is a lot worse". Im not sure what exactly she meant by that but I will assure her that my group goes golfing frequently are other courses and we are welcome. I will not be back to this course.

I hit balls here 3-4 times per week. The par 3 is great for real game chipping and putting practice. Food is well priced and good quality. Any beginner golfers this is a great place to learn. More seasoned golfers might find greens a little rougher but for the price its hard to complain

Course was very wet this week from heavy rain last week. Greens had been aerated day before we played & were being top dressed as we played. Hard to give an honest course rating under those conditions.

Took my golf-mad step dad here when he was up for a visit. He quite enjoyed himself. He said it's a nice little course, not too many chances to use a driver with only a few longer holes. But overall he said he'd be glad to come back.

Was out on Sunday and the course was packed and no beer cart in site. We later found out the lady who was supposed to be working the beer cart was out golfing. Friendly staff. The food from the restaurant was amazing and Jason was extremely kind and professional.

We frequent this course! We absolutely love the staff and we can literally play 18 in 2 hours. The only issues we have come to recently is allowing groups of more than 4 up to 8 sometimes we have seen. We have had to do a lot of waiting for over booking. Last time I got the last spot but wasn't told that there was 2 groups of 5-7 in front of us. We paid for 9 holes but could only play 7 because it was pitch black. I also will say its highly over priced for the condition of the course and the reputation of it. Other then that great! We played at least 15x this year because you can always get in!

I enjoyed my first round on the course. I’m a beginner golfer and liked the mix of short-long par 3s and 4s. It would be nice if hole 9 finished back at the clubhouse, but it’s a shorter course so playing all 18 holes really isn’t an ordeal even for someone who can rarely make par. The driving range is also great. Some of the greens are in rough shape.
