We celebrated my parent's 50th wedding anniversary at Baxter Creek and the experience was fantastic! It was relaxing for us as hosts. Numerous guests commented on what a lovely experience they had from the food to the atmosphere to the scenery! Carolyn and staff were gracious and attentive to every need. They were friendly and personable - making us feel welcome and comfortable! The answer was always yes to our requests! Accommodation was made for all of our needs from food to having an area for small children to play. The facilities are clean, attractive and well maintained. We were very pleasantly surprised with our bill! With the quality of everything we received, we expected it to be more. We will use Baxter Creek again for our next function. We would highly recommend Baxter Creek to anyone looking for a facility to host any type of event and Carolyn is an amazing event coordinator - it was a pleasure working with her! She is so well-suited to her role as she has the desire to make sure that the clients needs are met in an exceptional manner. Thank you Baxter Creek!

I have never had more playing golf then I had here. Shots can be hard but they're a friendly challenge great condition and course layout. Tedious but fun 19 hole with the 17th at TPC sawgrass feel great for a fun finish off to a great golf experience.

We absolutely love it here. The course is always pristine, the staff is very friendly!! The food is to die for. Great place to hold an event. Beautiful place to hold a wedding. The course is great for anyone, it has it challenges, but can be played at any level.

A truly well manaqured course with holes that will require you to use all the clubs in the bag and to use all your abilities. Only negative comment would be to bring a range finder as some of the yardage markers appear to completely incorrect. When finished stop and have a Canadian Burger which was one of the best I have ever had. For me it was worth the 1.5 hour drive and I will be returning often

Great course to play but the customer service could use some work. Had a 10am tee time, they told us it’d be an hour wait because of morning frost. We asked if they would comp us some balls for the driving range while we wait, and the girl at the counter had attitude like we were being ridiculous.

As noted by many others, this is a great track and well maintained. The 2 star rating is strictly because of how it is managed. Have only played once every couple of years because each time it’s the same. Front 9 moves along reasonably well. Arrive at the 10th tee to find 3 or 4 foursomes waiting. Played today for the first time in 2 years hoping for a better experience. Sad to say it was exactly the same. 4 foursomes on 10th tee. So our group decided to leave after 9 . Have played many courses in Canada and the US. Have to say Baxter Creek is kind of unique in this. Either they don’t know how to manage the pace of play or they don’t care to. Really too bad as it’s a course I would play more often.

Course was in great shape and greens were running fast. All Covid protections appeared to be in effect. Pace of play was very good, no delays. Great driving range and practice putting green. Unique feature, the course actually has a 19th hole. A tough island green to decide who buys the beers. Great day in all.

Absolutely fantastic course. Played here for the first time today, and it was amazing. Beautifully cut fairways lead you up to very nice, fast greens on every hole. Staff was fantastic and beverage cart came around every few holes, couldn't have asked for more. Even as a member at a different club, I plan to play quite a few more rounds at Baxter soon.

Next time I want to be ignored by the staff, be asked if a menu is required ( when isn’t one). Be told by the staff taking our order something isn’t good. And the food brought is salty and greasy ... I’ll go toBaxter Creek. It took and hour and a half with reservations for food to be put in front of us. I now feel sick from my meal. Two thumbs down!

Love this course, there is a great variety of holes. There are a few dog leg's left and right which force you to shape the ball as needed. The greens were in great shape this year despite the two-week heat wave which left conditions dry and hard in the rough areas. 17 is an all time favorite hole of mine of any course I've played, awesome architecture. The only thing this course could work on is their sandwiches, they are far too expensive for what you get. Possibly the most mediocre golf course sandwich of all time: and I consider myself a golf course tuna sandwich enthusiast.

Played this for the first time last year and was amazed what a superb course this was. Fairways and tees in great shape. Green fast and true. I have been a few times this year and still look forward to going back. Friendly staff and helpful even when I lost my wallet. If I could afford it I would get a membership and I live an hour away.

I do not usually write reviews unless I am really disappointed or really impressed. This is definitely a case of the latter! Not only is this a great golf course, it is also an exceptional venue to hold an event. Everyone there went above and beyond to ensure our recent function went smoothly. Our guests attending all remarked on the first rate quality of service , with attention to every detail. We were treated as part of their family rather than just as clients. I honestly cannot think of anything they could have improved upon! Thank you Ron, Ralph and Carolyn!

Baxter Creek was advertising a July special rate after 2:00pm. Based on this price we booked a foursome. When we arrived, we were told that the "special" had been changed to 4:00pm. There was no effort to contact me about the change. As a result it cost our group almost $100.00 extra. I contacted the course and was told they had just decided to arbitrarily change the time. I guess the owners wanted to gouge the public for more money. Just be forewarned, that the price you think you may be paying may be a deception.

The course was challenging and interesting. Every hole is unique with quite a few blind approach shots. The course definitely needs to be played a few times to have an idea of where to place certain shots. The greens were very fast and in terrific condition. Course conditioning is outstanding. It plays harder than its slope rating would suggest.

A really amazing course. I may have found my new favorite location. The course is in amazing condition with super fast, wide greens. The staff is beyond amazing. They were so accommodating and extremely helpful. I played here with my brother and uncle and after our first 18 we really wanted to play again. With no tee time, the staff did everything in their power to make that happen. They somehow squeezed us in for another 18. Such an amazingly challenging course to play. Thank you to the guys in the club house for making our Saturday family golf day a really great experience.

I had the pleasure of playing Baxter Creek Golf Club a couple of weeks ago with some friends. The round included a dog at the turn... I must say, the hot dog itself was delicious with perfect taste and texture. Overall the bun was decent, with a solid bun/dog ratio. Condiments were on par with all standard selections, including onions, hot peppers and pickles. I am scoring this hot dog even 4.0. I understand this may seem like a rookie score, but in my professional opinion the dog was better then a 3.9 but didn't quite meet my criteria for a 4.1. I stand by my even score. Would definitely eat a hot dog again at Baxter Creek Golf Club again.

HOLY ATTITUDE! ....this course is somewhat pricy but it is a nice layout and would have gotten more stars except for the abundance of attitude from several of the employees telling us to hurry up because they think we are golfing too slow right after we almost hit the people in front of us with a couple of our drives! Even after explaining this to the so called golf marshal on the 7th an employee in the pro shop made a point of coming out to the break area after the 9th to tell us the same thing, so again we explained only way to go faster is to drive the ball at the group in front of us. Then again in the back 9 they proceeded to anoy us not without ample amounts of ignorance and criticism obviosly forgetting we are the customer in this situation. We made a point of discussing this with the golfers before and after us none of which had any problem with the pace at any point throughout the day Needless to say next time Baxter creek will be our last choice to spend our hard earned money on when there are so many respectable courses around

Been to the course several times in the past few years. Coming from the Kingston area means a substantial drive but Baxter Creek is worth every km. Staff are awesome and the course is always an excellent challenge. Can't wait for the annual trek with more of friends to enjoy a great day.

My husband and I had our wedding at Baxter Creek in September 2019, and it was amazing! They have an amazing location to make a girls dream wedding come true! The site is gorgeous for an outside wedding and also offered a back up in case weather didnt corporate. The staff was amazing with setting everything up and helping us set up the decorations and keeping the flowers ready for our big day! The food was amazing during our dinner as well as our late night snack bar. They also have beautiful locations on-site to have photos taken with all your family and friends! The staff was very accommodating with any last minute issues that popped up and were extremely friendly to all of our guests and us! I would highly recommend anyone to have their wedding or any kind of celebration at Baxter Creek!
