I quote the owner “YOU NO PAY, YOU NO PLAY.” He does NOT understand the concept of paying for 1/2 a cart when you ride alone. Just don’t even try. Owner is extremely rude and disrespectful. The course itself is actually good and decent condition for the price you pay. Views are second to none excellent. But remember, you no pay then you no play!!

The owner is a total jerk and has no customer service skills. He kicked my hockey team off the course at the end of our round when we were trying to do a little pitch and putt competition on the last hole. It was a rainy Saturday in June with no one else on the course and we had just dropped $600 on our round on a day where he would have pretty much made nothing. When we got back to the clubhouse our guys were upset and we basically told him we would never be back and tell all our friends never to go back there. He proceeded to pull out his cell and call the cops on us and told us to leave and never come back. Great business sense with this guy in a small town. I've also heard numerous other stories of similar situations.

Scenery was amazing. The course is nice. I'm not a regular golfer but I thought it was totally awesome! The kids dad goes golfing here every morning when we're here. Now that I've finally checked it out, I think I will too.

After reading reviews for years I avoided going there. But they opened soon this year so I went. Had nothing but good experience with the owner. Was hard to understand but he was very nice. Did a lot of holes as we kept going he gave us great deals on price as me and my friends kept golfing. Had a lot of fun He even sold us his personal beer which was sleemans honey brown when we didn’t want what he had is his cooler. I would definitely recommend going there. The course itself is very challenging but still really fun. Not a really big coarse but a hard walk usually get a cart. I’ll will definitely be going there a lot this year

FIRST OFF. I dont come off as a Golfer to many but i do know it well. THE reviews i saw before coming to this golf club were a little concerning. NEVER judge a business by its online reviews. The owner was ANYTHING but rude and mean. The prices are NOT expensive, the owner IS NOT mean. Maybe he loves his Business so much that if anyone takes advantage of his Givingness to his customers THAN he gets upset at those who take advantage of him. AS well as the pandemic going on i feel maybe he might be racially profiled by the locals. This golf course is Very welcoming and he loves everyone that comes in to his business to play a good game of golf. I feel like so many locals from my experience aren't very friendly to people of color and shame on them. we are in Canada. come to this golf course. he is not anything bad at all. he treated me and my ladies really well, and i was recommended by a local well known person to come here. if anyone gives him a bad review again, try it out first. write a good review if you experienced something good. everyone deserves to survive in this economy and pandemic. it was really busy so i am not worried about that but i think he needs a 5 star business before anyone else writes another bad review. id give him a 10 star review out of 5.

I've really been enjoying the course this year. This is my first year back into golfing after 20+ years away from it and I'm finding the course fairly challenging. The price is right and I love that I can go out anytime and get on without a Tee Time. Mark (owner) is a nice guy and I think he's doing a good job in keeping the course in good condition.

Great value for the price, especially before 9am or on Tuesdays (all day). If you aren't upset by an awkwardly quiet interaction at the till you will enjoy the course. Never really busy which means more time for you on the course.

Owner doesn't talk to you he yells at you. He's very aggressive. We got yelled at because he didn't like where we parked our vehicle. I've never seen anything like it. Something so trivial can cause a person to be so angry makes me nervous for my safety.

Absolutely appalling customer service... they yelled at my company for asking for a left handed club and even pushed her out of the shop... then came down to the course to give us clubs and get upset more. The course was poorly kept and the customer service was unacceptable. Tons of yelling in the background of our game. Avoid this place like the plague. Especially as a beginner.

My spouse and I enjoyed our visit here today. We were happy with the whole experience. I read a lot of negativity in the earlier posts, and I found them unfounded regarding the service of the owners. We found them to be kind and welcoming. I would like to hope that some people’s opinions are not based in cultural differences, but I would be concerned that perhaps the owners have been unfairly judged. I was personally very pleased with their service. Thank you Wow Golf Course for a lovely experience. We will be back!

If you want a beautiful view and to support a maniac it’s the place to go! Aggressive behaviour from the owner after explaining we wanted to return to hole #6 where a club was left behind. Owner said to call next day... we weren’t making a special trip from Kelowna. The owner has a language barrier which leads to screaming in your face and pointing a finger one inch from my face like I was in detention.... I’m in shock one can treat their customers like this... never again.

I've golfed this fun little course a few times. Its handy, easy to get a t-time and has some nice views. BUT the owner has cut down all the beautiful trees "they were killing the green" he grunted. When I asked him how the trees on the 150 yard of the fairway could be killing the greens???? He just grunted again …. "don't need trees … to much trouble". So there you have. He doesn't understand or appreciate his trees, his customers or the game of golf. There are plenty of fun 9 hole golf courses in the area where they do appreciate their trees, their customers and the game of golf. We won't be back.

Great course for the price point when compared to others in the region. Challenging, target focussed golf course with second-to-none vistas. It does not have the amenities that some expect from a course but the price reflects that and in my opinion, does not need them to be successful. The owner/operator is ESL but has always been welcoming, hospitable and friendly to myself and my mates. Will remain part of my weekly golf routine for a while to come.

Not really sure why people have given this place poor reviews, maybe the management has changed? I was a walk in and the man I met was really quite nice. The value for Penticton is really good, this is a full 9 holes not an executive course or a par 3. Is it a perfectly manicured course? No it’s $25-20, but the grass was green and cut well and the views are amazing. Did 9 today and then decided to make it an 18 and did it again for 50% the second half. They don’t have an online reservation system which is kind of annoying but I’m finding that to be normal for Penticton courses. Greens were in good shape, the elevation is a factor so walking it is a bit of a work out getting out of hole 6. I will be back!

If you are looking for a casual and fast paced golfing experience, this is it! The view is amazing as well. We didnt know about this place till the restaurant server has recommended it to us. It's a bit away from the city center, approx 10-15 mins, overlooking the entire lake. We had a pleasant experience. Hole 5 was our favorite. Many reviews mentioned about the owner but we didnt find him rude or anything. Maybe we got lucky lol Overall, we had a good time. will come back.

The owner was very rude and difficult to deal with. He started shouting at me because I told him the practice balls for the driving range were garbage! (They really are, cracked and worn out) One other golfer didnt finish hitting his balls so he said I could finish them off, maybe a dozen leftover. The owner came down and took them away! I asked him why but couldn't understand him. So I left, told him I wouldn't come back and now I'm writing this!

I've never written a bad review After my experience here today I can honestly say No choice but to warn others. Played here the day before and on a few occasions last year on my holidays never had an issue. The owner was never friendly but It just never Really Bothered me I'm here to play golf not for small talk Anyways. A friendly hello would have been nice after giving him lots of business and telling my friends what a great little course this was. Mistake mistake don't golf here if you for any reason question him on anything you will get a Two-year-old tirade I could not believe it. I think it's quite sad he obviously has some mental health issues And is running a small but fun little golf course needs to recognize he needs staff to run this as he is not capable of Controlling his issues . I seriously thought he was gonna break out a weapon I'm not joking!!! All because I asked why he charged me double from one day to the next. Instead of giving me a rational answer he went into a complete Tirade seriously never seen anything quite like that I'm a business owner myself and if any of my staff acted like that they would be gone immediately. I get the feeling he doesn't want single players as others have mentioned. Easy solution instead of berating your Customers put a sign up saying minimum 2 players. I cannot express this enough stay away!!!!!

If you want to go golfing and get yelled at constantly from start to finish, come here... Golf course is set up poorly. Its dry and not well kept. We were getting yelled at for "not keeping pace." Rule is 9 holes in under 2 hours 30 min, we finished in 1 hour 50 min and somehow that's unacceptable. He just want to push as many people through as possible to make money. Rude, rude, rude. Just look at the other reviews. Don't go here.

Beautiful views and fairly challenging holes. Unfortunately, the owner was terrible to deal with. When I called to book a tee time I asked him to book us down for 18. We paid $104 for 2 of us, a cart and 4 drinks. When we finished the front 9 and started on the back 9 he came zipping over yelling at us that we didn’t pay for 18. I explained that’s what I had reserved so we assumed that’s what we were charged. He said it would be another $60 for us to play. I told him that I would just sit out the back 9 then but my husband would play. He said that everyone has to pay whether you play or not. That it was policy. I wouldn’t recommend this course as his lack of customer service and rude demeanour really put a damper on our afternoon.

It is only a 9-hole course, but my friend and I had a wonderful 2 hours playing the green. It is pretty hilly and the holes past 6 are nothing but uphill so take that into account if you are contemplating walking it. The owner was the guy manning the station and although his English was a bit rough around the edges, he was a very nice guy and gave us a few golf balls as gifts for our first time. Make sure to bring a camera, the view from hole 5 is beautiful!

Tried to book a tee time today for myself and was refused because I didn't have enough people with me and hangs up. I called back a second time because I was confused, he repeats I said no I said no over again then starts yelling at me in a his native language. So I hung up. He then called me back on his personal phone a minute later to yell at me some more again mostly not in English. If I could I would give this place no stars and I didn't even get to step on the property. I feel this person was being racist and aggressive. I am beyond offended.

I went there on a Sunday morning with my nine year old son who has never been golfing before and we had a blast..great course and easy to use..we had no experience or equipment and they supplied us with clubs and and cart..and it was reasonably priced and the service was very good from the owner and staff..super helpful and very nice..I will be returning soon with my son and I highly recommend this course for family outings..
