One of the nicest Par 3 courses I've ever played. The greens and fairways are well kept and the course is a fun 1.5 to 2 hours long. Staff are nice and beer prices are good. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

Great place. This was my first time golfing so I have nothing to compare the facility to but to me, it was a great experience. The pricing was pretty good, the staff very friendly and there was lots of room on the really nice driving range. They also let you use clubs for free for the driving range!

I liked the practice putting green and the two driving ranges for warm up, one with grass tees so you could adjust the height to your liking. It was a good variety of shorter holes with one longer. Our party of four did the 9 holes in over 2½ hours, having to wait for a kids class ahead of us. The party of three following us arrived often at the tee just after our first drives so the felt pressure of not holding people up affected my performance.

I have been golfing for 20 years, have been to many different driving ranges, this was the first and only time I had to pay twice, one fee for a bucket, and another fee for using the chipping/putting green. So for anyone expecting to go to a driving range and pay for your bucket of balls and be able to use the chipping area and putting green as you usually do at a driving range, not going to happen, you’ll pay 2 fees. Needless to say, I’ll never go there again. Up to you.

Really nice condition course given the price. Pay your age for junior golfers, amd being able to add a small bucket for $3 or med/large for the price difference from small is neat too to be able to warm up. Me and my 2 kids (aged 6+8) with a medium bucket was $50 which is great price for a morning tee off. Only issue, which would normally be a benefit is the course has a lot of shaped holes around water and long fescue so be prepared to lose a bunch of balls. Great for variety and hole difficulty, but challenging for new and young players.

Hands down the best practice field around the region. The prices are average, green turf is on point and the chipping/putting green is always well maintain. Didn’t play the par 3’s 9 holes but I’ve heard lots of positive feedback. I recommend ????

Best par 3 in Ottawa. Never been a fan of par 3 because they are all pretty bad around here. Gotta say I should of tried White sands a long time ago. Ok to good layout. Great greens and pretty good fringe (around the greens) also wonderful sand pits. Hence the name ????

Short course but don't let it fool you. Lots of high grass and some water. Lost some balls. And lots of bunkers. Challenge for those who want to play the short game and work on " Approach "

Fantastic layout for a 9 hole par 3. Prices are very reasonable, and juniors paying their age is in my opinion the best pricing model I've seen at a course for introducing kids into the game without breaking the bank for parents.

Only used the driving range and chipping areas, they are both some of the best places I've been to. Very well maintained and the prices for buckets are very fair. Lots of places on their range and you can either hit from mats or from the ground which is fabulous.

A lot of old golf balls. Not great quality. Driving range needs to have its grass cut.. all dandelions. A lot of people come out with their entire family and make it a very noisy place if you actually want to do any practicing

Good par 3, well kept but, as with so many courses these days, there's no one keeping the play moving. 2 hours 10 minutes to play one round of nine today and it wasn't even crowded. If only courses would get it. Slow play kills your business. Don't know if I'll be back.

At this time of year, of course it's closed. However, I sent an email about hopefully purchasing gift certificates for Christmas and Chris was so awesome. He altered his schedule to accommodate when I could be there. We met at the office (masked and shield) and after patiently explaining options, I was all set up with cards. Thank you again Chris for making 2021 something to look forward to by my boys.

The driving range is always dry. No Marshall on the course, had to call the pro shop for an issue with the twosome in front of us who took over 20 minutes to play each hole when they are par 3’s while our foursome with 2 kids were waiting on every hole. The manager I spoke with on the phone didn’t seem to care, I had to ask him to send out someone to talk to the group. They came out on a cart after 20-30 minutes, the group in front finally pulled aside. The person in the cart did not come over to apologize even though I was flagging them because I wanted to talk to them. Once we finally were able to start moving everything was fine. We finished our round and the other group was on the 6th hole as we looked from the highway driving away from the course. Imagine a 3hr round and it is only par 3’s, I couldn’t imagine a worse punishment. Also the cashier at the front desk tried to double charge us. They got the second star because their course is playable when no one is making you wait.

Great driving range with both grass and carpet tee-boxes. Average price, always well kept. The course is high difficulty compared to other par 3 courses in the area, most holes make you carry water.

It's a very short course, all par 3s, but it is well maintained. It has lots of challenges like sand traps and water close to every hole. Good if you want a quick game and be on your way. This course also has a good driving range and putting green to practice on, although you have to pay separately for each. Most times you'll be done in less than 2 hrs.

Their driving range is a 5 star, but I’ll probably never be going back to their course. They only have 9 holes available, the course is not very nice and you can’t place doubles, they pair you with randos so you’re stuck going at their pace which makes it less enjoyable

Hubby and I were there yesterday for our first time. We wanted a little 9 hole for when I was done work and we had booked a tee-time for 5:40. Traffic wasn't as bad as we figured it would be (we live in Kanata) and got there just over an hour early and the gentleman at the pro shop said we could tee off if we were ready. The conditions of the fairway, greens and bunkers were amazing. The course is well laid out and challenging enough to think about your shots, but not to make you pull your hair out. It's a very pretty course and relaxed, the gentleman that drove by told us we could just take our time as there was no one behind us. We had a little with him when we were done our round as well. We absolutely love this little par 3 course and will be our go to when we want a quick little game!

Not for beginners! Went with my son to hit a bucket of balls and was surprised that the practice mats do not have a tee. You may hit your irons from the mat but using your own tee for drivers is practically impossible. Most beginners want to hit their driver but not at White Sand.

Great practice faculty and very reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly. My only complaint are the practice mats on the driving range are in pretty rough condition but I tend to practice on the grass anyways. Definitely recommend to anyone living downtown or on the east end!

I truly enjoy the driving range. With fresh grass to hit off of and a chipping/putting green, it simply is the best practice facility this side of Kevin Haime's. I recommend playing the course on off peak times like 6pm as you're able to finish the round in an hour and 20 minutes.
