This Golf is included in the category of Golf course.
This course is ideal for golfers who like to walk. The back nine requires a good position shot as there is a lot of water and conservation areas to cross. Well worth playing and the price is right.
Course is in good shape thanks to August rains. Friendly staff, great value for a casual round of golf.
The front nine gets you ready for the back nine which I found very challenging. Reasonably priced which is important to me, let the rich people have their fancy courses this is a jewel of a course
Pretty wide open. Very friendly staff and we had lots of fun!
Fun little course, a little dry in some spots. There's some holes on the back 9 that leave you scratching your head and do not cater to lower level golfers Was playing with my son and mother, a few frustrating holes for them, with not being able to carry 75+ yards.
(Translated) Very nice place (Original) Très belle endroit
It's a beginners course in my opinion. A wide open course for the most part. Confusing layout to get around. Back 9 was the better 9.
If you are going to golf here be prepared to walk!!! I have booked tee times with a cart several times only to arrive and have no cart available. The course has recently changed owners and the owner clearly needs improvement!
Great value here! Awesome little course the greens were in awesome condition! The front is pretty open and nice for the drives but the back tightens up and demands abit more accurate tee shots! Owner is also great!
Very disorganized course. Lots of waiting around and not honored tee times. Next hole tee boxes are too close to the greens
Okay course. Reasonable price
Pace of play is horrible. They allow groups of 5, 6 and even 8!
Played front 9 an afternoon in late August and the bugs were awful.
Best Golf Park
2021 review: New owners have done a good job with the course. Front nine is open Back nine is closed in and more challenging Challenging course. Blue/white tee boxes are good. Reds are still a mess. Greens are challenging and slow. A very good experience. Great value for the price 2020 review: Nice golf course and a reasonable price. Short course Fairly open. Greens are challenging. Only complaint is all the tee boxes are not flat. Very hard to tee off
Course is a bit disorganized, but overall best value in Ottawa (currently 15$+tax for 9 holes on a weekday), especially for a 9 hole non-weekend golfer like myself. Front 9 is more open and could be somewhat boring for a good golfer, back 9 is shorter but many tricky and well designed holes.
Great course for the non-pro golfer. Well maintained.
Decent course for the price. Strange layout on a few holes Green to Tee walk is a bit odd in a few places. The tee boxes are ok and the greens were in good condition. The fairways were a bit dry. Otherwise not bad. I would golf there again.
Good course. Pretty challenging in the back nine. Could use a little maintenance here and there, but overall, very good bang for your buck in the Ottawa area.
It's not the Hunt Club but it is in excellent shape for the price. I plan on golfing there again.
Best course in town for the money. My son and I can golf on a Saturday morning for $35 with a cart. (13 and under free)
Went golfing this past Friday. Staff was a little unorganized as I believe they double booked time slots. The set up was extremely confusing and feels like your are golfing on top of people. I would return if everything else is booked up.
Grear course for the money!
Quite enjoyable. Short course but some difficult holes. Good for working on your irons.
Relaxed quirky course. Not long but interesting. Good value.
Super friendly staff, great pricing and the course was amazing. The greens were impeccable.
Great country course. 31$ to play 18 and definitely a good walk spoiled.
Great time here.. new owner is very welcoming...the shape of the course is exceptional..a great value...and offers a senior rate ????????We will be back..
Excellent service, staff are nice, for the money best value in Ottawa area
Course was in decent shape and is the only reason I'm even giving it 3 stars. The layout of the holes is questionable. Must have been designed by someone that's never been on a golf course before.
The fairways are amazing!
Bring bug spray. Seemed like a nice course, but an early foggy morning made playing unbearable due to mosquitoes.
For the price pretty good. The greens aren't kept in great condition and it's a little disorganized, but good value for money
Owners are very nice and accommodating...prices are good, back nine is challenging...will definitely be a regular stop
Fun course for the price.
This course is the absolute perfect mix of price and quality. Reasonably challenging, friendly staff and just a fun layout all around. Back nine is far more challenging than the front.
I had so much fun golfing at this place, great pricing, great owners will come back in the summer
Great value for the course.
Love this course! The front 9 is fairly open and forgiving, whereas the back 9 had some waterfronts and curves to the fairway. A great combination for individuals of all skill levels. Took my friends to this course and they loved it! Very friendly owner and staff as well.
Its good
Drove 20 mins to get to the course after booking a time online, showed up and his course was closed. Don't recommend
Very enjoyable course with attentive and friendly staff. We played a foursome for a twilight 18. There were no carts available but the owner/manager offered us each a free beer if we were walking it. He then gave us complimentary carts for the back 9. The front nine are forgiving with lots of room for error on the drive and approach shots but the back 9 is a very challenging lot with twists, turns, natural hazards and pretty some all-around tough holes. Fairways and greens were in mixed condition but most holes were well-maintained during a season without much rain. Fun round and will return.
This country course plays casually and offers some good challenges for golfers of all skill levels. Don't recommend driving the green on hole 2. FORE!
Good course for the money. Easy going, nice staff.
Great value. Lots of green grass at this time of year is a good thing. They are aerating the greens this week. We will be back to try them out soon.
One of the friendliest most affordable courses around. Not a top tier track but a decent challenge for the average hacker. Relatively short overall. Front nine is a little longer but also far more open. Back 9 is shorter and a lot tighter. Well placed irons or fairway woods off the tee are rewarded there is some room but errant shots can be severely penalized. Definitely not much opportunity to hit driver on the back unless you are a very long and accurate bomber. I actually like that a lot as it seems most courses now, you have to pull driver off most tees. It’s an easy course to walk but the carts are very affordable if you prefer to ride. There are some cons: the bugs can be bad on the back 9 and the fairways aren’t the most manicured at the best of times and really dry out in any sustained drought. Greens are well kept overall but it seems far too many golfers don’t fix their ball marks. I used to be a member years back in my early twenties but life got in the way and my kids are just old enough now that the wife and I can get out a lot more. The price, the work the new owner and his staff and how friendly and accommodating they are is what keeps us coming back.
Great price, not overly busy, and in good shape. Owner is very accommodating. Our go-to course.
Corse was over booked so played extremely slow. Had booked a cart but when arrived no carts were available except for pull carts which were broken. Overall layout of the corse is poor. Large distances between green and next tee box. On par …
This is not the nicest course in the area but it is great value. I had a lot of fun playing and the grass was well kept, and the ownership is truly amazing. They brought out bug spray even once it started to get dark, where else can you say does that?? I'd you're looking for fun, this is place to go
I've been golfing here for 6 or 7 years and it has improved so much! There was a recent change of ownership and it shows. Especially the back 9, you get a great view of the jock River now. Customer service is fantastic and honestly best bang for the buck golf in the city.
Course is in great shape!
Good price and great family owned business
Decent quality for the price, though not a particularly unique or exciting course. I would go back.
The course was dryer than the Sahara desert. It's in some desperate need of some rain. They also had the sprinklers on in the middle of the day. I played at around 12:30. The greens were ok
Great course to play for the price. It is kept in good shape and the new owners are doing a great job.
Very nice course, great price and the staff are very friendly and accommodating!!!
Nice cheap golf option. Shorter course so easy to get around quickly if you're short for time.
Good course
Odd course, staff is friendly. They had us booked for the same tee time as another group.
The course is in great condition right now and that's the only reason I'll go. The place is so poorly run it's almost hysterical. The parking lot is a joke, the "social distancing" is non existent and the cart supply is always out even though when you book online or through golfnow it's cart included. You'll be disappointed everytime if you're expecting a cart, but it's all good, they'll give you a pull cart from the 1950's that's falling apart and noisey for no extra cost. Went today for an 11:10 tee off time and finished the first hole at 11:48. The booking system is also a joke. 4 groups (16 players) all booked at 11:00 and showing up 5 minutes before tee off. If you want to book a cheap round and show up late for your tee time and are prepared to walk, this course is for you. Don't forget to pack the bug spray!!
Fun course, not too challenging.
They have really stepped up their game this year. Everything is looking much better. The owner came up to us on a cart and offered bug spray for the back nine in case we forgot. I will definitely golfing there again this summer
Great family oriented golf course
Excellent value
Don't waste your time. Booked a tee time with a cart for father's day for my son and I. Booked a cart because it was so hot. Showed up and he gave all the carts away. The course didn't look very good either so I guess it might have been a good thing we didn't golf. Ruined my father's day outing though.
Excellent pace of play for a holiday Monday. Great value for a family outing.
Nice little course, lots of bugs but good price
Greens are very good
Wear a hockey helmet here
Terrible course!!! Booked through Golf Now the rate was cart included $37 plus tax and I booked for 1. Get there he charges me full cart. Ended up being over $50. Course at most is worth $20. Carts were not cleaned, garbage in them! The course was average at best. Some tough holes but some real easy ones as well. Greens and tee boxes are right next to each other and a lot of holes you need to walk/drive up towards people hitting. Really disappointing don't waste your money, there are way better courses for that price in the area! Wont be back there.
The course hasn't been in better shape......Ever. Great Value. Update....(months later) Shot 78 here today. My first round in the 70's.
We had booked a tee off time for 2:00 p.m May 30th for 4 people and reserved 2 carts. When we arrived approximately 1:35 we were shocked to see around 15 people hanging around the front entrance not socially distancing and others pulling in. We wondered why so many people for what they told me and what is supposed to be Covid 19 compliant 15 minute staggered tee off times. I was also told they clean the carts for about 10 minutes. My husband went into the main entrance to pay and find out if our tee off time was still good and if we had cleaned carts available for 2:000. They said their tee off times are 10 minutes apart they were just giving carts to anyone else who showed up and we could only have carts for maybe 3:00. Not Covid 19 regulations or what they told me on the phone. We walked away and called Riverbend who had our time available and had "cleaned" carts and were $17 cheaper. Totally messed up at Centennial, don't care about Covid 19 protocol and we will never book there again. They don't even have anyone there to monitor social distancing which clearly wasn't being respected. I am also reporting them to the City of Ottawa due to concerns of Covid 19 non-compliance.
Is a beautiful scenic coarse some of the greens are poorly kept and this year the price went up to $29 A ROUND which is too much for a short 18 hole coarse . Nearby in Carp there is a full length coarse with amazing greens for $25 Also at Richmond wear long pants came home with several tick bites .
Nice relaxing country golf course, golf fees not expensive, friendly staff
Great for people who don't really golf
Great pricing. Not overly crowded. Interesting front & back 9 challenges, even being fairly short overall. The detailed course layout on the scorecard is extra appreciated; better than the most expensive courses in the area ????
Nice golf course, good prices. I had fun.
