It was OK. 3 groups lined up at 1st tee. During Covid that seemed wrong. A golfer 2 holes away was wacking his ball (3 times) through our path while we waited for him, which was not the facilities fault just part of my experience. The course (yellow) was tight in spots, but crossing in front of people teeing off to get to our next hole seemed dangerous, but the condition was pretty good.

As a Beginner golfer, I really enjoyed the course. It may not be top notch but with minimal traffic and wide open links, it gave me breathing room to make mistakes and still enjoy the game.

Enjoyable local course conveniently located in the west end of Ottawa. 18 + 9 holes on a well maintained facility. Challenging enough track to test most average golfers, nice clubhouse, great parking, a range, and helpful staff. Have fun!

This is a great course close to Ottawa. They have 27 holes - a regulation 18 and a full size 9. The nine is great for a quick round. I have been a few times in June 2015 and the golf course is in excellent shape.

We had a terrible experience recently, and I will no longer be going back to this course. Josh, the golf pro on-site was extremely helpful, but it was very disorganized. Unfortunately, we were two groups who had separate tee-times, but due to lack of karts and double bookings, we had no choice but to play together, which is against etiquette. We knew this and we were told it would be no issue - While golfing, we were interrupted multiple times by complaints from staff that our group was too big, even though we were told it was okay due to the issues we had. We were playing best ball to just speed up the game and not hold up anyone. As an example, we were told to go to the red course as no one was scheduled to play there and it would accommodate our big group - we arrived to tee off and as soon as we got to the red course, a marshal came up and instructed us to go to blue because red was too pack and we would be backed up. While Blue was in fact packed with people and now we were stuck. After one or two holes on blue, again after being instructed to go there, a marshal for Irish Hills, whom was off duty, walked off his yellow course and interrupted his game to come over and yelled at us, despite explaining our situation. All he kept saying was "I'm a marshal and you need to listen to me." "I don't care, I'm a marshal." Well, we are paying customers who are trying to play golf and enjoy the day, but we were harassed three times! Once would have been fine, but three times!! I don't normally leave negative reviews because we always hear more about the negative than the positive, but this was a terrible, terrible experience. It honestly took the joy out of our final nine holes.

We went here to play an indoor round a few weeks ago. The technology they use is top notch, and the staff is very friendly. You are treated like family and the atmosphere is great! I will definitely be back here, and hope to golf outside on their course this summer.

Confusing course. It's hard to know where the next hole is because there's 2 to 3 holes teeing off from the same area since there are 3 nine hole courses. Some greens were immaculate while others looked diseased. Greens were relatively flat so didn't make for any interesting challenges. Very few people were playing which made for a relaxing game but the high price was probably to blame.

Unfortunately this course has not been maintained at all this year. It's in terrible condition, from the tees, to the fairways to the greens. We played this course at least 10 times a season over the last decade and played it 2 or 3 weeks ago. We won't be back again. Not sure if there was a change of management or what happened, but save your money and go elsewhere. Very disappointing.

A pretty forgiving course minus the odd water hazard. Hardest part of the course is judging distances. Pro tip: the round hedges are the 150yd markers on most holes!

In 2021 I feel I should edit this review. So far I've played the course twice this year, and if I'm honest it's in the best shape I've ever seen it in since the first time I ever played it in 2012. Big kudos to the grounds crew for doing a fantastic job with the course so far this year. 27 holes so your experience can change from visit to visit. Wonderful staff, reasonable prices and always well kept playing conditions.

Nice layout fun to play wide open good for players like me who spray the ball. Staff is super friendly and a pleasure to do business with. Now the bad. Mother Nature has not been kind this year. At this time course is bone dry. Greens are very rough and need a lot off work, hard to make anything over 10 feet. Will definitely go back and although it's not the courses fault I won't be back until we get a good deal of rain.

Some holes run side by side very close to each other making it easy to get hit by a stray shot. Couldn't get through 18 holes because the course overbooked the back 9 and took 30 minutes to play 1 hole

We had booked 18 holes on the 18-hole course on July 25 @ 9:21 AM, not on August 18 as assumed by the owner in his response below. On, July 25, they had no score cards. On July 25, we went to the First Tee and were told that there was a tournament on the 18-hole course that started at 9:00 AM. We were shunted off to the 9-hole course. When we finished that course, we were left to fend for ourselves in getting another nine holes that we had paid for on the front nine of the big course. We had to break in front of another foursome, who were not very happy with us, asking us what our the tee off time was. When we told them it was 2 hours ago, they were not pleased and told us since we were late we had to Forfeit. Altogether a very unpleasant situation. The greens were excellent that's why I'm giving the course 2 Stars.

Course is okay! Fairways need work. Not a real big difference between rough and the Fairways. A lot of wholes I couldn't tell which was which. No distance markers which was annoying. ( they are only on the ground, no posts) Bunkers were hard like playing on baseball infield. Tee boxes need work. The green's are small so hard to stick it on the green's but they were in excellent shape. Driving range is junk not maintained at all, no rubber tee's on the matts and it isn't really set up so you can hit of the grass. They have a nice little practice chipping area with a couple of practice bunkers that aren't maintained. So I'd say it's $30.00 a round course but that's not what they charge. Has potential with some TLC. Would go back if I couldn't get a tee time else where.

Amazing and friendly service. The girls were super friendly and the manager or owner was great too! We played 9 holes and wanted to play another 9, it was an easy process. The younger guy we dealt with after to pay for the extra 9 holes was so friendly, engaging it was nice to see. Even when we were finished he acknowledged us and asked how it went. That guy, i wish i knew his name, that’s a good guy for business! so welcoming, makes me definitely want to come! Will definitely be back!

I'm not a golfer so I cant really comment on the quality of the course but the overall experience was amazing, and the price was right. Buy your beer at the chalet then jump in a golf cart and zip off to the 1st hole. Had a blast and I will be back

A nice country course. Somewhere to play a quiet round on a decent course. Nowhere near the quality of Greensmere or Stonebridge in the area, but a good 27 hole course for those who wish to simply golf.

Indoor golf was fantastic. The simulator was way more realistic than I thought. The club head data is a huge bonus as well for working out the kinks in your swing! Awesome place and will be back!

A very nice course that is fun to play. They also have great indoor golf for the winter months. A tasty craft beer offering is also available. Definitely one of my favourite courses in Ottawa.
