This Golf is included in the category of Public golf course.
Highly Dont recommand.
It’s a decent golf course, I had fun on it went early morning with my friends. Golf course also has a drink girl on site!
Greens were a little rough
Great tournament course. Plenty of beer carts and great service. Well maintained and a great day of golf
Great service by the staff and very thoughtful, the place was very clean and the drinks were cold. I will for sure go back there again.
Good golf friendly course that challenges. Good food and service. Very good staff.
Fun course, mostly open a couple tight holes in some trees. Not too challenging unless the wind is blowing. Was in very good condition considering it is October. Only complaint would be tee times are not spaced enough. Waited on almost every shot...
Nice 27-hole course, mostly flat, with beautiful greens. South course is very open, very few trees. East course is quite nice, more trees all around. West is a mix of the two.
A hidden gem in a beautiful setting!
Nice course and well maintained. Estimated play time is 2 hours and 10 mins per 9 holes.
Staff very welcoming and professional
Great golf course and they've got everything setup well for social distancing. I have asthma and I wasn't worried while I was there. They did a thorough job of cleaning the carts as well.
Booked to golf 2 players on East, they insisted we had to play 4 on West.
Nice course. Greens were good and fairways were in decent shape. Too many leaves on the ground and was hard to find my ball sometimes but that was a time of year issue.
The course was nice, but my friend and I aren’t the best golfers. So there was one employee who yelled at us for taking too long. Even though we were going as fast as we could. He got extremely aggressive with us. Other than that one guy the course was great. I wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone looking to get into the sport like me.
They can't control the weather, we want to go back in the spring.
Was not worth the price. Is not in that good condition. GLENGARRY golf course is in much better condition.
Good but not great course. Greens could use sprucing
Nice course with both links and fairway golf and 4 nines to choose from.
(Translated) A well-designed terrain that lacks a lot of love regarding the state of the green starting field. Yes, the winter season has been difficult for golf courses but I can say that 90% of those are in very good condition at this time. The restaurant and service A +. Just to say the cost to play does not match my expectations.
Beautiful course! Very dry and grass in great shape. Great deal on the 11th of each month, 18 holes and cart for $50!
Rough 2020 into the heat wave. Finished great. 90% of my golf this year ($19 for 9 holes after 6!)
Great conditions. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices.
Visited Ottawa and decided to sneak out a round, everyone in the pro shop are so nice and accommodating. Everything was great except pace of play, then again I walked on as a single on Senior's day deal and I cant tell how's the pace during regular days. Will definitely come back and play again (Played same 9 twice because of backlog)
I find the overall links style layout is challenging, but also very fair, to the average golfer. And lots of really nice folks serving good fare and cold beverages in the clubhouse. Incredibly only a short drive... fast and easy to get to, from the east end, obviously, but also from deep west end, or even the southwest end, too, now that new Vimy bridge is open. Twenty seven holes, so six different ways to play. East is a Beast. West is Best. South is Blue Heron Country. Mix and Match. Nice large greens, well maintained.
One can always tell when owners and staff care about their business. The course and clubhouse are well tended to and it shows. Just returned for another round. Food was great, service and course condition is super.
Very nice course. The local grass is well kept and playable and the greens are also very nice. Free on your birthday and if the course is closed on your birthday you can come back 6months to the day. I certainly enjoyed my free round and am looking forward to coming back.
Reasonable price. Greens are in good shape.
Range could use some work but 150 balls for 16 dollars and a super nice range attendant, it's a great place to practice for an hour. Course is really nice for a public course but you'll definitely lose a few balls.
Great to get out on the course. Staff is happy to see us and they have precautions in place.
Decent course, not too busy.
I like this 27 hole course, good challenge.
Good Golfing, Good Food & Friendly Staff.
Friendly staff and great conditions. Nice outing in a nice layout.
Nice course, fine staff. Worth playing there
Amazing!
they don’t call it anderson stinks for nothing. just kidding, it’s good affordable golf.
27 holes in good shape for the most part. Cart service is seriously lacking. Decent price. Kitchen is ok.
Course is in great shape.
Nice course, lots of unmaintained rough.
Terrible greens and Fairways over priced for the conditions.
Great golf course.
27 holes. Lots of tee times available. Played 18 in 3 1/2 hours
Below to average course. Won’t be making it part of my usual routine courses. Greens were awesome which saved it from being a 2 star. Layout isn’t great. Every whole feels the same and the biggest thing you couldn’t tell where the fairway started and ended. Burnt and hard. Still had a good time with great people whoever won’t be going back anytime soon. Update. Better shape in august and price went down.
The course did not winter well. We played the East-West and it was apparent right away that they had significant winter kill that has not recovered with the extreme heat of late. The greens and short approach to the greens are actually in quite good condition. I dont see how the rest of the course will recover this year. I haven't played here in years, so I'm not sure if this is typical, but for now I would say that other courses in the area (Emerald Links, Meadows) are a better experience. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and they were well setup to handle COVID restrictions
Great
Good course Tee off at 1:40pm good experience. But at the 6th hole was forced to play best ball even thought no one was behind and no one in front. Marshall requested pick up the paste. We paid, we should be able to enjoy our games. Sorry we are not all pros
Nice layout. Links style course.
Worst experience at a golf coarse the pro shop attendant didn’t know the first thing about customer service. Rude, and ignorant. Asked for our money back and went to Metcalfe. Totally different experience. Do yourself a Favor and stay away!!!
Nice course. Great breakfast
Fairway and greens very tired
Course could be in better shape...
Course is in okay shape. Nice greens. Slow pace of play though
Always the best and friendly service good price
Brutal for father's day. Place is quite busy, no actual brunch. The golf course understaffed the wait staff, so one poor girl trying to keep up with the volume of people, and the manager is waiting a single table the entire time. Ended up leaving after waiting an hour for eggs and breakfast fare, the overworked waitress was lovely, the other lady who seemed to be a manager was not helping in the slightest.
Great food, great course, great service. Cheers
Greens are looking great and it was awsome to be back out that way
Beautiful golf course
Great course for the price. Impressed by the greens we played, especially after a heavy storm. We’ll come back!
Better than meadows
27 challenging hokes with great greens.
Having a fun round when all if a sudden I see this van down in the, grown into the woods.
Nice golf course...links style...in good condition. Senior rates on Mondays
Great breakfast
Dont play here $71 & they dont cut the grass or water it
Nice course and clubhouse
Lovely courses, well kept, polite and helpful staff. Great dining room, good food and reasonable pricing. Pleasant venue for golf and a meal!
Nice layout, could have better fairways and tee boxes
EXCELLENT golf course
Welcome was pretty rude, looking at me like I have three heads, because I wasn't sure where I needed to go. Then having the Marshall interrupt our game telling us to hurry up and move our game along, not my problem 2 sum got paired with a slower 2 sum. And when talking to the manager asking for clarification and backs his Marshall saying their T times are 10 minutes apart. So in the end because you can't organize your business properly you make new golfer's feel like trash and disregard their chance at a new hobby.... TOP NOTCH, I'd still stick with Hammond golf course over this place anyday!
South course is always in great shape. All 9s play well from the whites. Nice clubhouse with good food. Great specials throught the season. Definitely my go to course!
Good course. Needs some work. Personally did not like South but East was good. Power carts were really old and ours broke down. Our friends cart was not working well either. Overall it is a good course.
Golfed Wednesday July 28. Awful experience....fairways over run by Japanese beetles. Had trouble finding spots to stand in order to hit balls. Thousands of these beetles everywhere. Gross !
Food definitely has improved service still way too slow
Fairways above average but the greens were in great shape.
MOTHER"S DAY BRUNCH Worst brunch I have ever seen; made reservation for my family and when we arrived I thought that I was at a Super 8 hotel morning breakfast buffet. For the price of $28 per person, I was expecting more than what I would expect from an inexpensive hotel with free breakfast. One long table with somewhat empty containers of scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, hash browns and salads. We waited as their was no plates and walked the buffet table to discover that their was no food. We returned to our table and decided to leave. This reservation ruined our Mother's day gathering so you are warned. Please ask to see the menu before approaching this establishment for any more events. I would have scored it lower but couldn.t give it a zero.
Course is in good shape after all the rain, even a little dry. Surprised that it was not busier. Where are all the golfers?
Very nice course. Very well maintained. It’s definitely my favourite course in Eastern Ottawa. My only issue with the course is that it’s relatively flat and some of the holes are a bit repetitive. But overall, I really enjoy playing Anderson Links.
The course was in excellent shape. My compliments to the greens keeping staff. Little things like ball washers with clean towels and fluid in the washers. Many courses i go to do not have fluid in the washers nor clean towels. The clubhouse facilities were also excellent. Very clean washrooms.
Great course
absoultely love this place! the food was amazing and the golf course and the land around it is beautiful!
Well kept and forgiving golf course
Reservations for 6 at 1100 am for Father's Day. Restaurant had about 25 people including our party. Waited over 1 hour for breakfast (nothing complicated bacon and eggs, waffles, etc.). Left after waiting this amount of time without EATING! Will never go back. Good luck to anyone who Goes!
Great variety,---27 holes- 3 nines-good test of golf from whites and for the better players 0 to 12 handicap blues, great for ladies(reds),,,,exit off 417 at anderson road
Fantastic course
Course was in good condition
Very open course. A little pricey for what it is but always in good shape and friendly staff.
Beautiful course with 27 holes, well maintained and a friendly staff. Solid experience - would return.
Eary in the season, conditions will improve.
Average course. Played South/East and there is a few challenging holes, some water and some narrow fairways, but It's mostly wide open. The green's were in good shape and played fast. The fairways were not good at all. Very patchy and some torn up. Staff weren't very welcoming not rude but kind of stood around looking lost in the pro shop same with starter and Marshall. Took us 25 minutes to play each hole on the front 9 and we needed to skip a par 5 on the back to get a head of 8 women playing all together in one group. I really dont mind everyone enjoying the round but etiquette needs to be followed and let others play through. It is also the Marshall's job which he drove by us once with 2 groups on a tee box and didn't see an issue! Anyway there are better courses in Ottawa area this year and probably wouldn't recommend it.
Having played Montebello the previous day for $75 all in, I would have driven back had I known it was $77 all in at Anderson, just another flat Ontario course. Saw the cart girl one time over 18 holes. Saw the cart girl 3 times at Montebello. However, it was very busy and they were getting their money, so I'm sure this review will have no impact
Great people ,nice course,prices affordable.
Very nice course. Pace of play pretty slow. Would go back though.
Great golf course and pretty good conditions (East-South). Area courses didn't have a very good start this year due to a rough winter so I was pleasantly surprised on good this place looked. I expected gloom and doom but everything seems to be coming along quite nicely. Most greens are mint and the few that have rough spots are filling in quite nicely. I will be playing again soon!
Kids play free weekend afternoons
One of the nicer courses on the east end of Ottawa.
I visited when covid restrictions had just been lifted. Tee boxes were not in good shape at all. As for the rough, it was in "meh" shape.
Good course.. good use a bit more cutting of fairways
Very fun course with beautiful greens and nice grass. Would recommend for players seeking a challenge.
Nice course with incredible maintenance staff. It was cart path only but we were not told about this until after we bought our carts...not cool. Also the greens had just been aerated on the first nine and we were not told about that. Overall nice course but communication needs to be improved.
Great course. Great staff. Greens are in good shape all golf season just one problem other players don't fix divots on greens.
Decent course within 20 minutes of the city. High prices at peak times.
The course layout is both interesting and challenging. My only complaint is that the greens could run a little faster.
Wet and cold. Carts have neither windscreens nor club covers. General condition better than most in area. Rain check offered happily. Restaurant staff very pleasant
Great course but lost a few balls in the Fairway and found some that weren't ours. Grass is a bit high in fairway but course was in great condition
I have golfed this course many times and enjoy playing here. It's in fairly good shape and the staff are excellent!
Very nice golf course..a little pricy so I don't normally go there but when there's 2 for 1 green fees, it's my first choice to play.
Course and grwens in good condition
Play here regularly. Course is well maintained. Some Marshalls are inflexible. Most are great. Especially Bob.
Great first experience..very friendly staff
3 nine hole courses to choose from. I like all of them Staff are friendly. Food is good value in the restaurant area
Course is in great shape, great price for this time of year! If this was my last round of the year great way to finish!
What a nice day. Started with a good breakfast. Great waitress (Jenna) excellent service. Thank you. Course in beautiful shape. Can't wait to go back....
Oh. My. Gosh. This was the best golf course i've been to and i've only been to one
Played today. Expected a wet course but not this. Virtually no fairways and greens in brutal shape. Will take some time and TLC to get this course anywhere half decent.
Tad overpriced, but great experience overall.
East 9 was fantastic. The south 9 was horrendous. Complete joke
Great course during the summer but unfortunately the greens were garbage in the spring. Otherwise good course
Nice course, 27 holes, greens are coming along
Nice layout...great Toff box....green are good but very soft ball hole every shot.....great course to play within the city limits
Nice golf course especially the east 9. A bit lean on staff and course care.
Payed quite a bit of money to enjoy a game of golf here with family for a late Father's day gift. We are all average golfers. We were given constant dirty looks for pace of play from the group behind us and had multiple rude and disrespectful encounters with the Marshall. There was no valid reason for any of it. We finished the 18 holes 30 minutes faster than the pace they wanted us at and we're still treated with disrespect on the course. Manager was very nice in the proshop after having explained the situation but that was no way to be treated on the course. Safe to say we will all be playing elsewhere going forward as this was anything but a relaxing and enjoyable day.
I am new at playing good so this review is based on a novice golfer impressions. I played the West 9 and South 9 as an 18 holes course and really enjoyed it. The holes are well designed with interesting sand and water hazards, hills and mature trees. I rented a cart but next time I think I will really the course as it is quite enjoyable. The staff is very nice and professional and I even got service in French. I will go back for sure!
Decent course. Good restaurant. Golf is a bit overpriced what what you get.
I played on this course last Thursday and was sorely disappointed. The course was just about unplayable with soggy ground all over the place and terrible greens with no grass and yet they charged the full price to play...
Excellent service and hospitality
Great challenging track! Well maintained course and nice clubhouse. 3 challenging 9 hole courses.
Great course, club house is very nice and the food here is excellent! Great place to bring clients for breakfast or to host casual meetings. Club staff are very friendly and personable, as well as incredibly customer oriented.
For $89 dollars for 2 to play 9 holes definitely not worth it, nice greens, but the fairways are the worst I've seen in along time
